international basketball is a little different, different paint size, different rules, different feel...us basketball has a lot more action in the paint...to me it is a lot more exciting because international ball (ie euro basketball) is a lot more shooting outside the paint not as aggresive

Shinny. It's a traditional game from the Blackfoot tribe. A bit like lacross, shinny is played with sticks about three feet long that have a slight curve at the end and the playing ball is traditionally about the size of a baseball though children's leagues use larger balls. It's played on a long course where the object of one team is to throw the ball over the goal line of the opposing team. Apanii's current all-star men's shinny player is Russel "Thunderstrike" Kipp of the Elk Dog Shinny Club.
