The workload of storefronts which provide these services is often high, and they have lives. Which means they can't make kits 24/7 and an overload of requests can mean your kit will take a while to make. But, many people want kits for their team. Therefore, I present to you: The Do It Yourself: Sporting Gear Edition.
Making a uniform for your team isn't too hard, but does take some time. Here are some tips for making your masterpieces.
• Use a good graphic program such as Photoshop or if you do not have photoshop. Download GIMP, which is similar, but free.
• Don't build from scratch, use a template. (Unless you feel you can make your own.)
• Look at a few real kits/cars/helmets for inspiration.
• The best kits include a custom-logo for both the team and kit-maker and a simple but nice design.
• Be sure to change the logo of the kit-maker with your own.
• If someone doesn't have their template posted publicly, I would advise for you to not take a designed kit and edit it so that it is plain and you can create your own kit with their template.
Below I will list a few templates you can edit to include your own patterns and designs.
