Welcome to the 1st ever Market Cup, hosted by Mangolan! This is not just another soccer tournament, it is the soccer tournament. Especially for you if you are looking to see how you team stacks up against other great soccer nations prior to the 54th World cup qualifing. And I Belive Mangolana will be able to put in all the resources it needs to make this a fun tournament!

It will most likely be a 16 team tournament. If it is there will be four groups of four, with each team playing each other once. At the end of the group stage, the second place team from Group A will face the first place team from Group B, the second place team from Group B will face the First place team from Group A, the second place team from group C will play the first place team from group D, and the second place team from group D will play the First Place team from Group C. The two winners will move on to face each other in the finals while the losers will play each other in the third place game.

Tiebreakers are as follows: Points will be first, followed by goal differential, H2H result, and H2H goal differential.

After the group stage, most two semifinals will be played, followed by a third-place playoff and a championship game. However, if numbers are sufficient, there might be a quarterfinal as well.

Vephrall's NSFS3 will be used to scorinate, each night at 8-9 PM EST.

RPs will be graded based on respect for opponents' RP permissions, grammar and spelling (won't be ridiculous and nit-picky here), quality and effort. It wouldn't really be fair to define further what quality means, as people RP differently.

This tournament, is supposed to be a pre-qualifing tournament, but I'm not sure we will have enough time to get teams signed up and started in time, so I'll let you decide, also if you haven't signed up, time may be short

Hello,

As team manager for the Blue Heelers, I wish to enter the New Hayesalian National team for the first time. Whilst our players are experienced in inter-provincial competitions, the international stage presents a wide range of exciting opportunities. We are also releasing a unisex supporters clothing line, so our fans can show their stripes.

Soccer is the second most popular sport in New Hayesalia, just after rugby union, regarded as the 'real' football. During the first days of the Union, New Hayesalians loved the game and would pay thousands to fly out and watch the grand finals. Now, with the regional soccer federation, they can just wait for the game to come to them. Of course, the amalgamation allowed for a national team to be selected for the first time, but due to difficulties, this dream has only just become a reality.

Unlike many other nations, New Hayesalian feel they have their own variant. Long passes which sometimes stretch from both sides of the field are common, and almost always caught by the players. However, to combat this many teams work on their interception, meaning possesion of the ball is always hotly fought. For example, in one professional game with another nation is the Union days, the Zoliran team had possesion 87% of the game.
