In the nearby field provided by a generous farmer, the nation of Daedina Sevais is holding an old fashioned joust and tournament for nations to participate in.
There will be only 7 places for champions from other nations as this is just a first tournament.
The Joust:
~ Pick a type of steed and it's color from the lists
~ Give your champion and his steed names and a title
~ Once all the spaces are filled, the announcer will state who is fighting who for the first 4 matches
~ Each pair of champions will battle as they are called using only 5 posts each, ALTERNATING POSTERS, at which time the match will end
~ Once all matches have been fought, the winners will be announced from each match and will be told who they shall joust next
~ For the second round of matches, each champion will be allowed 7 posts instead of 5, but will still be required to take turns posting
~ This will go on until two champions are left
~ For the final joust, the champions will take turns posting until one or the other is beaten.
The Tournament:
~ Choose a champion. They may be the same champion as the joust, or a different one. It is up to you.
~ Chose an armor and shield from the list
~ Pick your 3 weapons from the weapons list
~ Once the jousts are finished, the tournament will begin
~ The pairs will be posted and the tournament will be fought with the same progression as the joust.
The Rules
~ You MUST fill out the forms. If the forms are not filled out, your champions will not be counted.
~ You MUST choose only from the given lists of items to use!
~ NO GODMODDING, BUNNYING, OR ANYTHING THAT WOULD MAKE YOU INVINCIBLE! This is a relatively realistic tournament, and so physics is physics, logic is logic, people and horses can be harmed BUT NOT KILLED, you can't heal like a vampire, and magic doesn't exist
~ This is NOT to the death! Champions will live, even if it's with tons of bruises and scratches. It is a tournament of honor not brutality/cruelty.
~ Stay in the order of your match! After each match, I WILL post showing who is up next, THEN you can post if you are called

Scoring
~ Each participant will be judged upon each of the following for their RPing (aweful!=0 points, needs improvement=1 point, alright=2 points, good=3 points, exceptional=4 points);
1) Detail
2) Realism
3) Sportsmanship/Fairness
4) Writing Style
5) Structure/organization/consistency
~ Posts should include;
1) Description of the champion, steed, tent, anyone helping the champion, and preparing for the tournament
2) Reaction(s) to seeing their opponent, to the crowds, jeers, cheers, etc.
3) Approximately how many people from your nation came to watch
4) The initial charge, initial strike (both given and received), the recovery, and preparing for the next charge.
5) Description of the feelings/emotions, the pain inflicted, and the damaged sustained
~ Posts may also include;
1) Describing the meeting between the Queen of Daedina Sevais and the leader of your nation
2) The introduction of the champion and the crowd's reaction
3) The steed's actions
4) The tying of a lady's handkerchief or scarf around the lance (used to show favoritism/support for a knight)
