How to use basketsim?

I'm stuck...I really really really wanna do a basketball thread but no one ever does one, and when they do i miss it...so can anyone out there explain to me how to use basketsim so i wont have to wait for others to create basketball threads? thnx...please explain from basics to advanced, and please don't be vague..explain every little detail if you have to...don't assume i'd know what ur talking about...

WRONG! I used basketsim for that tourney, just didn't fell the need to post what I used, as Basketsim was the obivous choice.

At least I haven't scorinated a tourney with a floating home-field advantage...

Well in that case... I apologize for taking your comment the wrong way. But given the history between us, I assumed incorrectly.

If Dancougar were still here I'd ask him to explain it. I don't think I could give the depth of help asked by Freelasio, as I understood BasketSim just barely enough to use it for NSCAA II. Whomever hosted the last IBC (Secristan, i think) might be a better choice.

On THIS point, Secristan didn't use BasketSim for IBC 6. He used an Excel spreadsheet in which he created a formula to generate scores. For some reason, I'm having issues with it since I only have Excel 2003 on my laptop and now have much less time on NS because of work. Some of the functionality he used in his scorinator is beyond my version of Excel.

As for BasketSim, I don't think it's Mac compatible.
