Thanks. I apologize for not being more active. You put the fear of God in UC, that was for sure. :) The fact that only St Leon had beaten you until the last game was pretty amazing, and you'd have been a worthy champ if the situation was reversed.

Sooo...ready for the rematch? Tbh kinda worried. Baker Park’s an established powerhouse now. Should be a good one.

LOL. I'm thinking we might have to bring the police in for an alcohol ban in the general area of the stadium, so there won't be any monkey-business. Last year the fans were just happy to be along for the ride, this year they are expecting total domination.
But yeah, glad to have you and Banj back on the schedule.

I apologize for slacking on RPing during the regular season :(

But, of course, I won't miss the non-conference stuff.

In terms of the list of top Banijan recruits, that list is certainly coming... It won't be today. It'll likely be before Thursday's cutoff, and, like last season, I think I'll be putting out six. So prepare your pitches, folks.

Everybody please take a moment to check the OP to make sure your Non-Conference games are listed as desired.

You have ~12 hours to let me know of any corrections before I scorinate MD11 tonight. Yup, that's a 10pm Eastern cutoff. I'll aim to stick with that through the rest of the tournament.

This is also a last call for any NSCF Championship Game hosting bids.

My update really deals with my second point, but just a reminder that the games for week 3 are Imperial @ Space & Auster @ Terrestrial. But I've mentioned that. The true update is that we may have to cancel the Military Excellence Bowl, unless there is a military academy with a less obvious name.

Without sounding like a pest, I would offer my bowl as a substitute for the Military Bowl if need be. But I thought we had at least 4 military schools?

Are you confirming that it is, in fact, Sadeg?

Because this is the telegram you sent me yesterday:
The only game of mine that I don’t see on the OP is Saguenay @ Cold Hill week 2. Got em all other than that one. Thanks!

Gave me a double-take, but I figured there wasn't technically any rule against scheduling a non-conference opponent that's also not in NSCF this year as long as Queb agreed... and I know you two talk.

When I lose an RP, I usually rewrite it better. Hope it wasn't too tough on you.

It's also good practice to type on a word processor. If you hate the way that looks, like me, you can copy and paste onto the program as you write on the website. That can be risky if your PC has issues though.

My computer is fine, but I don’t have access to it rn. I’ve been typing in safar in my iPhone, so I’m just going to type in notes and then paste from now on.

I like to do it ahead of time and paste it in, especially if I need additional research on opposing players--like I did with Ran. Or like during the WC, where there's so many posts and it's a pain to have go back and find info as you're doing it on the spot.

On a completely different topic, looking at these NC weeks, it's like a playoff before the playoff with all of the top contenders playing each other.

And I'll close with a personal gripe--the scoring increase has been great, but the scores themselves are a headache when you're trying to go back and reverse engineer stats. It's a choice between kicking a lot FG's or missing a lot of XP's when your on numbers like 33, 43 or 46 just to give 3 examples of my winning scores.

Huh. I didn’t think of the second thing. I normally have Cold Hill play a cupcake schedule to pad their record (hell, it worked last year), and try to load Richardson up. This year, Cold Hill had a tough slate as well.

I think we’ve always had the 3rd though. I turned it into a bit of a running gag with Richardson’s historically innaccurate, yet great onside kicker, Ta’Shaun Blue. But he graduated.

Don't forget that 2 point safeties can also influence the score. I don't like writing them either, but when the scorinator deals them out, I go with it.

Technically the scorinator doesn't ever spit out a safety, afaik.
Unless it gives a score of 2 points, 4 points or 5 points... which I'm not even sure the scorinator can produce.

But yes, safeties are useful for RPing those weird point totals.

Banija, I think that RP got me more hyped about this game than anything else in the NSCF. Including last year’s. But I gotta say, 24-21!? All my RPs have been “hold Istria to under 35 and pray.” I think you’re selling Loyola’s offense short.
Fan of football, the Murican kind. But soccer is cool too! Just not really my thing. C(:^D/-<
I go by Ran. Unless, of course, you want to type out Ranoria. That's your decision.
