Oh, sorry. Maggie (or Margaret) is the commonly-referred to deity of random numbers. Basically, it's who you blame when you get an undesired result, since really there's nobody to blame but random number generation. That's why Maggie was invented, to have a more "tangible" scapegoat for something entirely intangible.

I still say we must put this to the test.

This shouldn't become a common occurrence. Yesterday, I was very busy from about 12 to 2 o'clock, and by that time I was pooped. Sorry about the late cut-off.
I don't know how long I'll be back, but I just thought I'd stop in and say hi, at least.

Okay, this just happened again. I have gotten exactly two results that have gone into overtime. Both times, it scored only the one game for all three results. There is certainly something wrong because that is one heck of a coincidence. I tried to save the original result and put it back into the re-simmed scoring result, and both times it simply will not accept the result as real. I would post the score as it was, but it simply will not accept it in the scoring table either.

Wasn't able to scorinate last night so the Big Eight and Celestia conferences will have to wait until tonight for your scores. Sorry for the inconvenience, etc.

Hmm... I don't think I RP'd for this game, and I see that my conference hasn't yet been scorinated, but I don't want to take advantage of that.

Not sure why the scorination is late, but it's not your fault. I don't think there would be anything wrong RPing until there's a cutoff of some kind.

Maybe try asking the question on the Scorinators Discussion Thread? It's more likely to get noticed by people with expertise there.

I'll run a few test sims, see if I can get it to recreate the problem you're having.
EDIT: Using SQIS (both overtime modes) and Footba11er formulas, was able to get overtime scores without issue. Perhaps post on the scorinators thread with a complete run down of what formula you are using, what boxes you have checked and so on? Not trying to criticise, but if we know what your inputs are, we can help better.

Turns out, this is the longest RP I've ever written for NSCF. shrug
Don't really need it, probably, since my next opponent is the doormat of the Mineral Conference, but iirc Konigsberg's slip started with a loss to them last year.

As I have told Cosumar, last night's scheduled scorination was unable to happen after my primary pc dying as well as myself having personal matters to attend to. Scorination for the last two games will proceed as normal, though as I have had to remake the file, please let me know if you see any errors in the table.

So, if Konigsberg does as it did last year and has a 50% win rate against Redvali teams, the top three in the Mineral Conference will all be 8-2 (assuming no upsets vs. Stoltz or Frontier State on their end). How is it ordered then? By point difference?

As it states in the procedural list, the tiebreaker order is listed as follows:

Number of Wins
Number of Head-to-Head Wins
Head-to-Head Point Differential
Overall Point Differential
Total Points Scored
Total Away Points Scored
Previous Season Rank (optional)
Alphabetical Order (optional)

So, there's no gap between the delayed match day and the one that was scheduled for today? Or will there be a break in between like there would have been with no delay?

Will the home field advantage make the difference for Konigsberg? Find out next time on NSCF!

This is the first time I haven't written a game summary as my RP for the day, because Stoltz is... 0-8 this season.

EDIT: Nope.

Well, this is a very, very hard thing for me to announce after the hours that have been put into making Mount Maris into a potential back to back conference champ and Castle into a very good playoff caliber team, too... And it might be even harder if I can cap this season off with a title.

But now that the season is winding down I suppose I should say this. This nation has always been the nation of failed ideas for me, the one that had a lot of things that I was never able to get from my head to the metaphorical paper. Even though others have said they liked my writing with this nation, I've never quite been able to make it reach the standards I've set with my main nation in the World Cup or even what I expect from myself.

At the same time, I made a minor puppet that was only supposed to compete in one or two tournaments pretty much, and was going to be exclusively an association football nation at first. But after I developed the idea more after bringing it out of my locker of old unused ideas, it turned into a nation that quickly became better than Redvale when it came to getting my ideas from my head to the screen. As in, the actual writing was more fun because I felt like I could convey the nation better.

So yes, if you're wondering what's up, I'm going to be bringing in teams from the Iron Syndicate next season, which I feel is a far more well written country in general. You won't see Mount Maris, Castle, or Frontier State. You may see me cut my number of schools down to one, to avoid screwing myself over in a conference race by having two, as I nearly did this season and last season. If you have coaches or players(I believe there's only a few) at my schools and you want them back, talk to me about that and I'll tell you what I had in mind for that.

And if you liked these schools... Well, you'll like their replacement better. This decision is my second time achieving gridiron success and then burning it down by my own will, but whatever. If I can make an unranked nation great once, I can do it again.

As much as it hurts to write this, the Friars are dead. Long live the Vikes. And let's cap off this last season with some rings.

Any idea if you'll still be in the Mineral Conference with your new nation? I'll have some new rivalries to establish with Maris and Castle gone.

From what I can see in the Procedural List, it'll probably be random. Since Redvale won't be submitting schools (instead being Iron Syndicate), the normal alignment policies don't apply. I believe the school(s) will just be randomly placed, as Iron Syndicate is a new nation.

Now I'm obviously not an expert, and considering the situation, maybe the Commissioner could grant a special request, but that's about all I can say.

Correct, because the procedural list specifically mentions returning teams/nations.
The Redvale will have no presence in the next season, so none of those rules can be applied as is.

Ultimately, though... I don't really think it matters either way, tbh.
