On the bright side i won the head to head between me and vietussia by 1 pd, 1! That's as close as you can get! If I win against Leopard Central I think I win the conference.

Seems to have been the week of chaos for a number of previously unbeaten teams--Utica, Ramusok, others?

You're right there aren't anymore unbeatens left. All the remaining ones, including me, lost today.

Since I have seen no other formal bids on the topic, Kalalau would like to formally propose The Plumeria Garden as the venue for the Championship match. Situated in Mosaic, Kalalau, the Plumeria Garden seats 60,280 LOUD fans and recently completed renovation which shut it down for much of NSCF 14 following Hurricane Kainoa. The Plumeria Garden was the site of the NSCF 10 championship tilt and allows access to to wonderful South Seas Islands and all their majesty, and Mosaic operates as the gateway to discovering the true nature--literally--of the South Seas. With many varied options--modern hotels, small boutique bed and breakfasts, overwater bungalows, plantation style cottages, and world class camping sites--Kalalau boasts an abundance of lodging opportunities to serve as home base for our outdoor activities and other recreational opportunities on the islands. Since the vast majority of our economy is fueled on the tourism industry, visitors can rest assured that they will get the best in service in activities as well as the highest in quality for the actual game day.

I can write up a full IC post on the actual thread if enough people would like me to do so.

The scorination occurs on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The cutoff difference isn't some weird formula, it just conforms to certain days of the week.

Why it's done like that, I don't know. I'm just the hamster clicking the dice of doom.

Speaking of....

Since the matchday 10 scorination happens to coincide with a major (American) holiday, I am just curious if there are plans to change the scorination schedule on Thursday. Thoughts, anybody?

I should be able to make the cut-off, but it depends what the other hosts think. I believe we all do live in America.

Damn, I just noticed this.

I don't know if I really have any authority on this one, I feel like that goes to the Commissioner, but if I had my personal take on it I'd have to delay scorination of Week 10 until next Sunday. I *might* be able to make it on Thursday of I must, but it would certainly be a massive pain in the ass. That's just where my situation is at.

I'm going to throw up a surprise bid for the championship game, for Capital Stadium.

Located in Avgaria, at the heart of the Capital Province, Capital Stadium is one of the more modern stadiums in the Redvale and is home to Sporting Avgaria among other teams. The college football team that plays there is the University of Avgaria, one of the most storied programs in Redvale, and the stadium was last renovated for them eight years ago to increase the number of seats to 79,000 and add a retractable roof. The stadium is located in downtown Avgaria, and the capital city of the Redvale is one of the best to visit for foreign fans, as much of the tax money from the high taxes in the country goes into the capital city and the districts around it. Downtown is the heart of the entertainment district, meaning that fans staying near the stadium can go to dozens of popular clubs and high end restaurants and bars before and after the game. If this bid wins, there will also be hotel discounts for foreign fans traveling to see the game.

(I'll have more info up on downtown Avgaria in the future if I see that I have an actual chance of winning)

Is there even a point of putting up a roster now? If there is, then I will. I just forgot about this rp.

Since there are some very good teams that missed out on this edition of NSCF, including NSCF 14 champion Banija--for somebody who quickly admits they took it so seriously that they flat out "forgot" they signed up for it, then I would say yes, there is quite a point to putting up at least a roster for the current season.

I'm not trying to be rude. But if we are talking about being rude, I think it would be quite rude not to at least post a roster if I looked at it from the point of view from one of the teams that missed out so that yours could compete. My $0.02.

Just a quick question with NSCF rules...

If a player that's a junior right now was to suffer a career ending injury, would they be able to transfer and sit out a season with a medical redshirt and then come back in NSCF 17 as a fifth year senior?

I don't believe we have any specific rules about player eligibility or other scenarios like that. Your idea seems reasonable enough - feel free to RP it as you see fit.

Well, except for one thing. In theory, a 'career' ending injury is something that players don't come back from...

So, yeah, as I said above, because of family time today for Thanksgiving, I won't be able to post results for today's cutoff. In fact, I won't be able to until Saturday night at the earliest.

Understood. Somehow, I missed the previous posts on this matter. So... ideally, I would like all conferences to stay in sync.

Would our other two gracious scorinators be willing to delay MD10 to the usual time on Sunday, and push the whole schedule back three days?

NSCF XXV Host Bid:
Calix City Stadia | Calix City,Kebec

In-Character Information
Kebec is a democratic, thriving island nation in the Scandinavia, officially, it is known as Kebec-Norden. Interestingly, the northern part of Kebec is mostly tundra, pioneered by the native Eskimo population, however, the farther south you go, the warmer the temperature becomes, at best reaching a sizzling 59 degrees. The leader of the nation is called the Pala Mors, meaning Prime Minister in Icracako, the current Pala Mors is Arinjor Bjarki who resides in the nation's capital of Sario, known locally as Helsinki. Seen as a somewhat primitive country, it is unknown to the multiverse that much of Kebec sports many stadiums and buildings are modernized and up-to-date. Gridiron football has been discovered in Kebec, however, Canadian football has proven more popular over the years. The recently hosted U20 RC I held in Kebec only pulled in 7.900 for its finals and rugby is Kebec's second favorite sport. Traveling to Kebec will allow you to experience the native peoples performing their rituals alongside seeing the big cities of Sario, Allkor City and the rustic city of Calix City. The most prominent faith in Kebec is paganism (Norse Mythology), it is illegal to attempt to convert someone. Doing so will subject you to death by trident. Kebec is very strict about someone traveling to it, you are required to have a valid passport from the nation of origin, a valid temporary passport Kebec and a valid visa from Kebec along with paying $1.260.00. Among strange things, public nudity is legal, why not? Odin does it! However, public sexuality is illegal as per public code.

Calix City is located in the Kebecois province of Norway, locally referred to as Oslo. Calix City is a large metropolis of over 350.201 thousand people, a whopping size as it is situated in Norway. Calix City is know doubt the rustic version of Sario, almost the same size, however, older and well... rustier? Here in Calix City, you'll find a bunch of old nature-loving freaks playing with trees. Currently, plans are in work to renovate much of Calix City, the old, crumbling ruins in certain areas have caused Kebec to consider renovation of this region. Calix City has already received renovations ahead of hosting NS Archery's first tourney ahead of NS Archer Open II.

Calix City Stadia is future home of the Calix Institute of Archeology's team, the Calix Arch. Renegades as they are commonly called. Calix City Stadia was built last year as Kebec has been eyeing to launch a team into NSCF for the first time ever.

The bid above is absolutely lovely, but all applicants should note that the NSCF Championship hosting duties are IC only. You would not be responsible for the actual scorination of the game.

Secondly, the schedule of dates in the OP has been adjusted to account for our impromptu Thanksgiving break. I hope everybody had a good day of family & football! The usual Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday schedule will resume with the final conference games on Sunday and Non-conference Week 1 on Tuesday.

So, an idea:
NSCF HOF

Requirements
Have been 'retired' [ i.e. not participated ] in NSCF for four or more years [ i.e. those eligible must've retired/not participated between the seasons of NSCF I-XI ]. Must be a player/staff member who exemplified excellent credentials during his time with said school/organization. Must be proposed by said college [ ex. College of A proposes Player A, a WR for membership in the HoF ] and seconded by another college and a Committee Member [ i.e. College B and Committee Member A second Player A's proposal to be inducted into the hall ]. Following this, at the end of the season, a special committee, different from the NSCF Committee will evaluate the player/staff member's contributions to said program during his/her tenure. If approved by them, the NSCF Committee during the annual season meeting shall vote on said person's proposal into the HoF. If approved, his/her HoF banner shall be 'raised' and added to NSCF 16's opening thread displaying the banners of the 'Class of NSCF 15.'
