In other news it seems Valor Coast is out of the running for the conference title however though both of my teams are still contesting it and if Port Salem loses to Salem in WK 10, for the first time ever the Mineral will have a different conference champion in Salem Community. Still the conference title will remain in West Guiana not with the same team though.

In reference to your post as scorinator about RPing it, I know exactly how many OTs this is.

In College rules, after 2 OTs of both teams scoring TDs, Extra Points are no longer allowed, and every team must go for 2 after scoring.

VCU and UPS would have scored 7 points in each of their first two possessions, and then in the 3rd one, both teams scored TDs again, however VCU failed to convert the 2PC, while UPS converted theirs to win the game 38-36.

But yes, that truly is the weirdest score I've ever seen xkoranate give out for American Football!

If you're right should it not be 39 (17+22) - 37 (17+20)? It's the fact that Port Salem scored exactly 21 while Valor Coast scored 19 that has me wondering just what happened.

Here's the only explanation I can think of:
In one of the first two overtimes, Port Salem scored a TD and went for two, but failed to convert. Valor Coast then also scored a TD, but failed to convert the PAT to win the game, leaving both teams with 13 points. Then, in the third OT, when teams MUST go for the 2 point conversion, Valor Coast scored a TD but failed to get the conversion (19 points), while Port Salem scored a TD and converted on the 2 point conversion to win the game with 21 points.

But why go for two if you don't have to? It's too much of a risk, surely? This is why I suggested field goals in OT2 and OT3 instead.
Not that it matters now, NWG seems to have gone with the FG option.

It appears that I don't have a match tonight so I should be able to RP and scorinate as normal, but if things are a bit late, that'll be why. If I'm playing, I'll have to travel 30 miles each way, so I'll be a little behind schedule. Just a head's up.

Yes. You could still end up seeded higher for the playoffs though because of OSPI

Well Freedom's Altar do have Sacred Heart, and Ramusok Capital have Stoneshore College, so you're the only two remaining. That's why RMU/UAD is played earlier in my schedule too, because I like the intra-nation rivalry games in weeks 5 & 10.

I found that weird in Woodlands. I would have put the rivalry week games as Jagoza vs FSU and UArk vs Utica, but it doesn't matter too much.
Most likely the rivalry game in week 10 will decide the conference championship so it all works out.

Had exams and illness to deal with in the past three or so weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to get back and stop the Royals falling any further than 8-2 in the conference. This could be us losing out grip on the Conference Championship? Is it the fall of the Royals?

Nah, actual GCSEs lol, had seven of them. I think it's split up more than when you would have done yours, more units and what have you.

Probably. We did A-Level modules in January and May IIRC, sounds like they've made GCSEs more like that. Probably a good thing overall though, instead of having one massive exam in the summer on EVERYTHING you learned over two bloody years.

Hopefully you'll have time to get UAD back on track anyway. I'm counting on a shot at revenge in the playoffs.

I think the only reason you didn't win is because you didn't RP. Netteingen Tech winning is a bit of an anomaly, and I expect the Royals to be favorites for the title next year.

I think it was due to me having 3 teams in there, making rivalry week weird. Personally I'd have done what you said as well, but both work out alright.

Because the tiebreaker isn't points differential, it's head-to-head points differential. Since three teams are 8-2, it takes into account all matches between the top 3, (not all games played yet), and West TaQud have a +5 PD, Freedom's Altar a -1 PD, and Ramusok Capital a -5 PD.

Just to clarify, this is exactly right. Stuff like this is covered in the procedural list so we don't have any problems sorting it in future.
Looking back at it, I do see some potential flaws in the method, but they haven't caused problems yet and to be honest, I can't do that by formula in Excel (yet).
