I can't tell if you go #1 by ranking of PA or PF or PD...

The official standings are calculated in a specific order. If teams are equal on wins and head to head results, point differential is the next tiebreaker.
This list slightly changes for playoff seeding, where OSPI replaces wins as the first tiebreaker. both methods are used in the ranking spreadsheet I make and the full tiebreaking orders are listed in the procedural list for transparency.

This is all open to discussion btw.
If we would rather have some other measurable statistic act as tiebreaker before PD, or if we don't want to use PF or whatever, let's talk.

Thread updated, new standings sheet at link in sig. As usual, keep an eye out for errors.

The attempt to automate the standings sheet is underway, btw. So far though, I've noticed the process takes a while to run completely. Just to generate the required information from the results sheet and then calculate head to head records takes a decent amount of time. Not sure if it's going to be a viable option, but we'll see.

Hosting duties will revert to Michael VII for matchday three onwards unless stated otherwise.
Accumulated RP bonus for teams in those conferences will be passed over via TG shortly.

Just a heads up, I will be using Osarius' cutoff time for MD3, and then after that I will switch to the original time set by me of 0600 GMT.

For being gone you're off to a good start PF: 40 PA: 0.

Then you start to rp then you'll lose. (that'd be funny!)

Well up next I have UArk and Utica, UArk always have tight matches, and Utica ALWAYS beats me, so I wouldn't be surprised...haha

Rosters are looking less spectacularly likely tonight, and tomorrow is iffy. Monday should be good, though. In the meantime, please use UCLA's posted roster from NSCF 6 if you are playing the Bruins, or make up any names you want for Scripps College :)

For a moment I was thinking "dude, isn't that first thing in the morning?" then I realised, it's lunchtime for you, right?
Kinda wish I could do all the cutoff stuff on my lunchbreak. I get an hour and I know I couldn't get it done in that time at work unless I read and graded all the RPs beforehand. Would be much easier than doing it at night, though, to be honest. Much less likely that I'll fall asleep in the middle of it haha.

Yeah it is just lunchtime here now. (Speaking of which, this is the cutoff).

Ehhh... kinda but not really. The official rankings aren't really reliable until around matchday five or six, tbh. If I'd done power rankings before MD3, neither of those two teams would have made my top ten. Not yet anyway. I think its hard to really judge an upset in an expansion conference though. None of the teams have any history to judge it by. Makes it really hard to include them in power rankings too, but also makes it easy to RP about them. "NewUniversity doesn't deserve a spot because they've only beaten crap teams!" vs "Any team who can go 8-0 deserves recognition" etc etc.

For that list in the RP thread I should probably just post the top sixteen by OSPI instead, thinking about it.

LOL TaQud. Well... They haven't won yet. But maybe your result means they will. Not sure who I'd hate to see in the Superbowl less though... whoever makes it, I just hope the 49ers beat them.
