Yes, I know it's uber-early to call this, but I'll reveal my projected invites of the Capital City Gazette Bowl (presuming that there's eligible teams at that point):

Non-playoff, but OSPI qualifying teams from the Woodlands Conference vs. Non-playoff, OSPI qualifying of St. Catherine State/Northern Dinagat/Fair Haven


Of course, if neither option ends up being available, it falls back to whoever is available.

Since it looks like a reasonable number of us are struggling to get everything ready in time, I propose we push matchday one back to Sunday (or next Tuesday if that suits people better). After all, this isn't really fun if we're not RPing, right?

That is a a tough one. I've had a look and can't see some positions even being nominated. That being said, if you are making a list, I would go for people that were nominated as well not just winners. Using this, I found some you could put into the team, but it does raise the question whether we should expand the award system to something like they actually have now in college football. For example, the Biletnikoff for WRs or the Outland trophy for Linemen.

this crossed my mind before, but I wasn't sure we had enough activity to warrant it. If enough people RP something though, and it adds to the experience, we can always make it a part of the competition later.

As for naming the awards, well... that's up for debate. I have a few IC, Osarius-only awards that are named after former players etc.

Impressed with the number of rosters from new teams this season. Good turn out so far, and I know some teams are yet to post rosters (but almost certainly will be posting one).

Also, I just realised, when linking the rosters, that I completely forgot to add in the new recruits I picked up from last season. :facepalm:
Might make the freshmen that I boot out as a result into my recruits for this season instead.

Indeed, just two sections away from completing UAD's (their domestic season results and a final overview), and Decraa College's will likely just be a minor update of last seasons so there's two more for everybody.

For those of you who like to have a tinker around and predict results etc... this season's Excel spreadsheet is up. See the "Standings" link in my sig, or the NSCF account sig. As usual, if you spot any mistakes, please let me know, and I will try and get them fixed asap.

I'm looking at programming the calculation functions into a VBA loop for future seasons, and enabling them with command buttons. The file is getting too big at the moment due to all the formulas stored in the cells, and while I'm not worried too much about my bandwidth allowance, I know that unwieldy file sizes can be a problem (especially if, like me, your laptop/PC is "getting on a bit")

If I find time this season, I'll get it done, but most likely it will have to wait a while. This is relevant to those of you with little to no programming skills because it will likely mean that you'll have some kind of warning error when you open one of my files some day, or the file won't calculate because Excel has blocked the macros. If it happens -- and I haven't explained it on the webpage or in the file or whatever -- don't panic, it's not a virus or anything. It's just me calculating stuff. Also, I'm hoping if/when I do this, I can make it so that any one of you can set up the standings sheet if I'm not around, saving you the hassle of having to manually calculate everything.

Final heads up for teams in any of my conferences (or M7's), I'll try to scorinate as close to midnight GMT as I can for all my cutoffs (including tonight's). No promises, though.
