THE QUEEN’S CUP

Rules:
– To keep with the Cassadagan spirit (and in consideration of our culture) of the tournament, I would like to request that all participants have a roster in which is at least 50% female that will represent your country. This is only a request, and not a requirement.

– The tournament will have a single round robin group stage, with the number of groups and teams per group dependent on the number of signups. There will then be a knockout stage that will lead to a championship. The entire tournament will be held in Cassadaigua.


Scorination:

Before one can convince the community that they are ready to host events with NSFS, they must first convince themselves. I did successfully host World Lacrosse Championships 7, and that gave me the confidence that I can do regular hosting.

Before NSFS 3.0, I struggled getting the previous version to work, but always understood how it worked. Creating XML files was just not for me. NSFS 3.0.1 is easy to use, and I have no problems with it. I want to have a start up tournament to prove to myself, and hopefully to you, that I can be looked up to host future events.

World Cup KPB values will be used, with RP bonus added on top of it. While The Queen’s Cup is in no way affiliated with the World Cup, the best way for me to get experience is to use those values, and not to have everyone start at zero.

Signups:
The number of teams will not be limited, and I will cutoff signups when a good workable number has been hit and the general pace of signups has slowed (stopped). I would like to begin the tournament on September 21st and it will not start before that. You may sign up here!

Meddicia signs up! It'll be make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Plus, it will be the first time a soccer team composing of men and women will officially participate in competition.

[Tarrentum]

So as not to be upstaged by ou small friends to the West (damn Meddicians)...Tarrentum will also put forth their first gender-intergrated soccer team for the Queen's Cup - if not just to humiliate Meddicia.

The Tarrentum Sports Committee wishes to make it clear that the Tarrentian Premier Football League will in no way be integrating both genders.

We're in, Jeruselem's current team already have more than 50% female anyway.

[Valanora]

I think it might be time to showcase more of the Vanorian female footballing prowess.

[Sarzonia]

In the spirit of the Cassadagan culture, and to give a team that was SUPPOSED to compete in the Nethertopian Open something to do, Sarzonia shall send its women's national team.

[Delaclava]

Delaclava will send their team, and showcase some of Delaclava's finest female players.

[Cosumar]

The first ever Cosumar Dragons team with men and women will be sent to compete i the Queens Cup

There is no way the Secristan Department of Sports could pass something like this up. We're there.

This will be an excellent chance for Sratos to show the international community what its athletes can do. This is also our first gender integrated team.

Albundania will join in.

I needed a good excuse to make up some more female players, too.

Swartaz will send their peak of female talent to this tournament.

Sure.

We'll be sending the women's olympic team (with a few minor adjustments) for this one. Good chance to build up some characters.

I'll enter. Have several important characters in my history here that weren't being used due to lack of opportunities (my women's team).

(From an IC viewpoint, they'd never pass up this opportunity: from an OOC viewpoint, it might be a bit of a struggle fitting this extra committment into my personal schedule but I really will try to RP at least once per two match-days...)
