Open up xkorinate
click the green plus sign on the bottom left.
double click the horizontal blue bar on the left side to name the competition.
Select "Boxing"
click "Continue"
Add participants my clicking the green arrow.
click "Continue"
click "Continue" again
click the green plus sign at the bottom (not the ones who are circled)
Name group
click the middle plus sign button with a lot of circles next to it
click "continue"
click the black dice to scorinate

Also look at some past boxing ns sport threads to see how to run your planned boxing thread, many have tried to create a boxing thread, all have failed, you have to have guts to take on the Curse of NS Boxing Threads.

When I try to set up two-legged soccer matches on Xkoranate, I get a lot (and I mean A LOT) of identical results on both matches. The matches also randomly get extra time even if the results don't add up in any way.

Example:

Estrela D'Alva 0–4 Éclaireurs
Éclaireurs 4–0 Estrela D'Alva (5–0 AET)

Eclipse 1–0 University
University 0–1 Eclipse

Am I doing something wrong?

It doesn't make a difference. There isn't an option in the scorinator for two-legged ties.

Yeah, I get around that by just scorinating individual matches with ties not allowed and adding scores up. If they draw when I've combined the scores, I just scorinate a third leg with the home team from the second leg at home, and add a goal in extra time for the winners. Or, if the "third leg" goes to extra time, put that as the score on penalties. Of course, that only works for domestic stuff... can't very well do that if you're hosting an actual event haha.

But that still doesn't explain why a 4-0 match went to extra time in the example... unless its just random scores you put in for the sake of an example.

What I do is set a two-legged round robin with the two competing teams in a group alone, I believe that's what FSC meant

The score is copied directly from the results screen. That's exactly the kind of thing Xkoranate was giving me. I've no idea why.

xkoranate doesn’t like it when the same participant appears more than once in a group. Try putting the first-leg matches in one group and the second-leg matches in another.

What do they do in, say, UICA events? Anyone here know?

UICA events use a specially-designed spreadsheet.

We need a little more info than that. What program are you using ?? What sports ?? What sort of thing are you using it for ?? Sometimes the best way to work these things out is with trial and error.

While I'm here, might as well ask a question of my own. I tried to use Miscellanator for the QWC recently, and couldn't find anyway to work. More out of curiosity now, how does the Quidditch part of Miscellanator work ??

Quidditch works about the same way as any other sport does in Miscellanator. More details of your issue would help, either here or in TG.

Every player fights eachother, but the overall scores for Jim, Max, and Kyle aren't registering at the end. What I mean is that Kyle fought three times but it only says that he fought once in the table. Chris fought three times, and it says that he fought three times in the last table, 2 wins and 1 loss.

Is it because that boxing can end without a score. like the RSCH result?

Open xkoranate and open the EVENTS tab on the left. Click on BADMINTON (decide if you want team names or not) then hit continue. On the next page, use the + button to add the total number of competitors andthen enter in the competitors names, Team (if you want) and the skill rating for each player. On the top of the page, you can set the min/max skill level. Hit continue. On the next page, decide if you are going to have individiual matches or a round-robin format and if you want draws or not. If you choose Round robin, the next page will let you set teh numer of legs (matches vs. the other players) and how you want the group tables sorted. You can also have the results grid shown or not, as well as configure the order of your tie-breakers. Hit continue, and on the next page you can set up your groups, and name them. Hit continue one more time at it takes you to the scorination screen. Hit the little black die at the bottom and.. voila! you've scorinated a badminton match. Basically all scorination on xkoranate works basically the same way. I hope that helped you.

“Variance” means the gap between the fastest and slowest lap times. A small variance will produce a very close race; a large variance will result in fewer cars finishing the race without being lapped.
