Juvencus - Poafmersia bid to host the 82nd Baptism of Fire.
Format: As of writing, we are currently at 16 teams, which is enough to start a tournament. The ideal formats are as follows:
- 16 teams: 4 groups of 4 -> Quarterfinals
- 20 teams: 4 groups of 5 -> Quarterfinals
- 24 teams: 4 groups of 6 -> Round of Sixteen
- 32 teams: 8 groups of 4 -> Round of Sixteen
Group Stage Ranking System:
Points (Three points for a win), followed by H2H Points, H2H Goal Difference, Goal Difference, Wins, and then IC Coin Flip (scorinated match without ties).
If there are three or more teams tied by points, and then a relative ranking of some teams can be obtained based on one of the said criterias, we will return to the first ranking criteria to tiebreak the subset of tied teams.
Scorination: We will be looking at using xkoronate 0.3.3, using the NSFS formula with additive style modifiers between -5 and +5. Roster bonus of up to 1 matchday worth of RP bonus will be given as well. 1 matchday per 48 hours will be used, and we will aim to start the tournament as soon as we complete the host vote and have a number that fits one of the ideal formats as above.
On use of AI generated content:
Usage of AI-generated images: Same as using online stock photos. Does not value-add much to RP grading.
Usage of AI-generated articles: Same as plagiarism. Penalties to RP bonus will be awarded accordingly.
We will be okay if you write content based on AI-generated prompts. However, we will not advise editing off an AI-generated article, and that is very likely to be considered as plagiarism.
