FIRST EVER HAWKLAND CUP!

The official league knockout cup of United Hawkland, containing the Premiere, Silver, and Bronze leagues, is soon starting! Predictions are open, the best prediction after the tournament concludes will earn hosting rights to the Hawklandian Super Cup! (Between the champion of this tournament and the champion of the Premiere League.)

The rules are simple: If you guess a game right in the first round, you get one point. second round, you get two. then four, then eight, until finally the final will be worth 32. (The 3rd place match is worth 20 points.)

HAWKLANDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON I

Well, the first UHPL season is behind us, and therefore, it's time we look back at a successful beginning to an exciting campaign full of ups and downs and twists and turns. Over the season, we had over 5 unique teams lead at any given point. But, one team had to come out on top. And that was AURORA BOREALIS!

The league MVP is Xanneria's very own Clive Hatchett, and the close runners up are Qasden's Ander Galleon and Alexander de Klerk. The goaltender with the highest save percentage is Mogens Brasher.

Aurora Borealis, by league policy, will be awarded with 5 million Hawklandian Dollars to go to transfers and wages, and Royal Ryan Regals, Four Star Ostad, Pacifica FC, and Ostad Pillar willa l recieve 3 million. 1.5 million dollars will go to everyone else, and Southern Island AFC will be relegated, while Eastrand City will play in a pro/rel playoff with Central Kapuvud FC.

Which brings me to the SIlver League. Bar Harbour United will join next year's United Hawkland Premiere League and Central Kapuvud FC has the opportunity to join with them. Royal Blue luckily beat Subtincia in the final matchday to escape from the relegation zone, instead, Subtinicia will be sent down to the third division, being replaced by Aurora Stronger Together.

Royal Ryan Regals will play in a best of three series to determine the second LigAnaia representative of United Hawkland. Thank you to everyone who's transferred me players and helped me with setting things up, because you truly made my first Hawklandian Premiere League season possible.

UNITED HAWKLAND: GIANT KILLERS (kinda)

United Hawkland continue their run through the Brevity Challenge cup, going all the way to the semi-finals.

Last night, a rematch between United Hawkland and Oberour Ar Moro, the first nation we ever played, took place. It was in the quarter-finals, further than anyone could have ever predicted the IceBears could've made it on their own, but we made it there eventually. Let's look over our journey thus far.

A dissapointing draw by the standards we are used to now, but we had not played any tournament matches yet, or up to this point, even won a game. After scoring the tying goal late, we were happy with the draw. We didn't know if we'd even get anymore points.

Oh! I suppose not! UHL were through to the quarterfinals and set to play... oh- uh, wow. Oberour Ar Moro, a rematch of our first international football match. Small world, I suppose. A semifinal spot is on the line!
But how about the match? We had the lead until the 89th minute, when an unknown Cenitian player scored the tying goal. In the dying moments of the second half of extra time, quiet midfielder Macaulay Reeves jumped higher than everyone else to propel the ball into the goal!

OF HAWKLANDIAN COUNTER STRIKE

Phase 1 of the Hawklandian CS season.

One of the biggest parts of Counter Strike is doing your very best to stay quiet. The thing that sets the pros apart from your average player is the ability to hear and pinpoint even the most subtle footsteps, and predict there the head of the opposing player will be. Not to mention, the countless days they've built up training their aim and their strategies with their team. All of the games will be played in either the Østad E-Sports Center or the Royal Ryan Expo Center. And as we build up to the 2023 Emerald Cup, every EliteLeague team is determined to qualify. Only the top 8 EliteLeague teams qualify for the Emerald Cup, and the last place team gets relegated. There will be 6 weeks of 3 games each week, and will be followed by a 3 team playoff round to determine a champion.
