If you're interested in hockey specifically, I'd advise you to keep an eye out for the next edition of the World Cup of Hockey, which will probably take place at some point after the next NS World Cup, a few months from now. You can also look out for the World Junior championship, which is held somewhat more irregularly.

If you're looking for a tournament you can join sooner than that and you aren't particular about which sport it is, I definitely recommend considering the NS World Cup and its warmup tournament for first timers, the Baptism of Fire. You can find the World Cup and Baptism of Fire signups here.

Heading into the last MD of the group stage, just wanted to say I think it's great this tournament has seen a real surge of new users (or at least nations) contributing! Hope you stick around.

Thirding this. Indeed, if you came bottom or near bottom, don't get discouraged as newcomers rarely make it out of the group stage on their first go around. Come back next time and not only will you be ranked but you'll probably be in for an easier time. Who knows, maybe you might make the elimination stage. To everyone else (new or not) who's still in it, best of luck and may the best team be crowned the victor.

Also I've a quick and random question SRS, why are the groups ordered as W-L-OTW-OTL instead of W-OTW-OTL-L? I'm not complaining or anything like that, I actually don't mind it being presented this way nor am I asking you to change it, I'm just wondering why it's been posted that way. Either way, you're doing a good job so far mate.

It was marginally easier to add OTW & OTL, one after the other, into the raw xkoranate table on MD1. Once it had been set up that way it was easier to keep it than rework all the tables.

In future, I may try to tinker around with google sheets to create a table generator for 3-2-1-0.
