Summary: With two of the teams that lost in Matchday 4 winning in Matchday 5, this conference is still looking for a team to really grab control. Sure, the Cavaliers came back from being shut out by the Rhinos to hang fifty points on the Gemini, but it's still the Hurons and the Rhinos who would be considered favorites to take the crown. The Hurons' defense remains the issue, while the Rhinos have an issue with turning the ball over - though they did turn things around by being the only team to win both games to end the first round-robin. All six teams can still make a run at the title, and it'll be interesting to see if teams like the Saints and the Bikers can keep up their solid play in the latter half of the season. Conventional wisdom says no, but lightning does strike twice sometimes...

Summary: The Riflemen and the Mimes sit atop the division, albeit in reverse order than expected. The Riflemen are scoring enough points while also getting lots of production from one Mark Waddle and their defense, while the Mimes have won some close games to remain within range of taking down the Riflemen, with Brenna Howarth, their Sophomore Kicker, having made two Game-Winning Field Goals in back to back weeks. The Understudy have surprised everyone with Kandice Mott's solid play, and will have a shot at shaking up the standings, while for the Armadillos, the Recruits, and the Peregrines, there is a lot to fix and a long way to go. Expect the Understudy to fall off and the Mimes to chase the Riflemen till the final matchday, with their rematch being the deciding factor on who will host the Conference Championship Game.

Summary: Nightmares for the Hooligans continue, with only one win out of their first five games, having dropped close matches, while the Anacondas and Victor Rowles reign supreme, being undefeated so far. The Rapiers are giving the Abominable Snowmen a run for their money for the second place finish, while the Farmers have played far better than anyone expected. The Anacondas should continue to run the table while preparing for the playoffs, while the Abominable Snowmen, led by Senior Running Back Han Bi-Mi and Junior Linebacker Simon Gerard, should be the favorite to try to knock off the Anacondas in the Conference Championship Game. For the Hooligans, change is on the horizon, as Head Coach James Morales has turned in his resignation - this will be his last season.

Summary With the Grizzlies faltering at home to the Monkeys, the Conference seems poised for an all-Brisara showdown, but there is a lot of football left to be played. The Businessmen have really taken to scoring lots of points, as Rico Divalles, their Senior Quarterback, has worked well with Junior Running Back Tary McLauren and a receiving corps that is young but learning very fast. The Hammers have had some close victories - Peter Juxon, their Senior Corner, already has six picks in the year to preserve some of them, while the Monkeys have won some narrow games with Junior Quarterback Dimitri Kurchev having his best season so far. The southpaw has been deadly both on his feet and over the air. Don't count out the Grizzlies just yet - Ewan Pyrehamix's struggles as their Freshman Quarterback can't hold back the likes of Junior Middle Linebacker Beatrice Hak - but this may well be Brisara's turn to shine.

5 Dragon High School 5 2 3 149 176 −27
6 Pùr Heights High School 5 0 5 54 174 −120
Summary: The Order might have clipped the Scorpions early, but their loss at the Mystery coupled with the Scorpions' drubbing of the Mystery at home has made it so that the Shantarr schools are atop the Conference, with the Order ahead by Head to Head Results. The Order's Freshman Quarterback Daemon Argonaut has been as good as advertised, while Senior Running Back Benjamin Merik has been a great security blanket; the Scorpions have countered with Junior Quarterback Francine Weiler's connection with Senior Running Back Rea Atera and company, with Junior Left Guard Mylera Jorley leading the way. If either should falter, the Mystery and their punishing offensive line will be waiting. Toiling away at the Destroyers is one Junior Quarterback Frederick Killaman, who is accounting for 81% of the team's offense but not going anywhere, as they barely average ten points a game.

6 Cheonju High School 5 1 4 61 114 −53
Summary: The City of Lorentine High School Wizards are officially in trouble. Having been slated to be the best team in the conference, they've barely won two games, despite having a +29 Point Differential. Freshman Quarterback Frank Wing has been hit-and-miss, with six turnovers in their last two games, including a costly pick six in his last game. This has allowed the Chameleons of Crix Technicla High School, a team that nobody thought would contend, rise to the top, led by their suffocating defense that has only allowed fifty-four points so far. Senior Outside Linebacker Asmodel Propleier has eleven sacks already on the season, and shows no signs of slowing down. As for the Red Devils, Junior Quarterback San Coreen has been good in the clutch. There is still time left for the Wizards, but they better act quick - otherwise, it'll be the Chameleons or the Red Devils taking over the Conference.

6 Anderson H. Kim High School 5 1 4 87 141 −54
Summary: Uh... Anyone see this coming? Instead of the Kayaks or the Flying Jellyfish, it's the Cyclones atop the Conference, with Junior Quarterback Mikkela Ansoli cooking and Senior Cornerback Lyla Pale being a thorn in opposing schemes. They utterly dominated the Chimera and then won a close one against the Kayaks to complete their perfect first round robin. As for the Kayaks, Junior Quarterback Evan Jerome has the team revving, but they'll need to play better defense; the Flying Jellyfish, led by their defense, are still around the top of the Conference, while the Gradients refuse to go away, as well.

5 Compass Coastal Academy 5 1 4 77 139 −62
6 Coast Guard High School 5 1 4 89 151 −62
Summary: The Warhawks should be atop the Conference - but thanks to back to back one-point losses, they aren't. First, the Rush's Clint Dawson caught a Touchdown pass as time expired to complete that upset. Then, the Guards kicked a field goal as time expired to win their first game of the year, too. The Heroes of J.H. Yadasky High School have taken to being the favorites like water, with Freshman Quarterback Cade Stases not turning the ball over the Junior Running Back Isaiah Candy doing a lot of the work on the ground. The Sculptures seem to be their best competition so far, but the Warhawks are too good to go away without a fight, narrow losses be damned.

5 Myana Central High School 5 1 4 99 142 −43
6 Navy Academy High School 5 1 4 55 100 −45
Summary: The Blue and White keep on chugging along - just look at how their defense has only allowed 39 points so far. Nicole Estera is also playing good ball from the Quarterback position as the Sophomore keeps on developing, and the duo of Kerron Nicholas and Lina Bonsoon will top most lists from the defensive side. The surprise contender for second place is the Fathoms, with Carrie Reen having a monster year from the Middle Linebacker position, while the Victors of Anchors Academy are also there, for now. Pier High School sits a game behind them, still led by Senior Quarterback Jerome Eddison. Myana is still Myana Northwestern's Conference to lose.

5 Eyrods Central High School 5 1 4 91 151 −60
6 Inon School for the Arts 5 1 4 89 121 −32
Summary: If Bouveil Historical were supposed to take a year off, they didn't get the memo. Freshman Quarterback Samuel Hodges has picked up where the team left off, but it's their defense that's really stepped up, with Senior Strong Safety Frank Kirribotton leading the way. The Inquisitors are just there - their only loss in the season is to the Barracudas - and Senior Quarterback Theodore Hawkson would like to get a Conference title before leaving the Inquisitors. The rest of the field sits two games back, and it would take one of the favorites completely folding for the conference to fall out of one of the two teams' hands.

5 Qet High School 5 2 3 112 155 −43
6 Qet School of Ornithology 5 0 5 112 167 −55
Summary: It was supposed to be the Battle Angels and the Rangers fighting things out, but they have two unwelcome guests. The Tor High School Shooting Stars have won three games despite conceding 141, while the Block High School of Tor Wights, led by the Sophomore Quarterback-Running Back duo of Liria Elleron and Carl Oberson have done wonders. The Rangers have scored plenty but also conceded plenty, Senior Quarterback Noelle Fisk having to do so much with her athletic ability, while the Battle Angels have been a level above. Will we have another Staramara only affair?

5 Southern Urrheddiao High School 5 2 3 113 143 −30
6 Northern Urrheddiao High School 5 2 3 127 161 −34
Summary: The closest conference in the country, any of these six teams could make a run. One would expect it to be the Sand Vipers, but despite Senior Quarterback Eduard Hickson playing well, they've dropped some close games; as for the Waves High School Surfers, it's the Kloss show; the Fog Wall and the Knives expect to fall off in the second half, while the Gold and Royal Purple will try to keep this going. This conference looks like it could be a dogfight till the end.

5 Alnio Academy of the Arts 5 2 3 92 102 −10
6 Flames of the Revolution High School 5 2 3 83 148 −65
Summary: Another very close conference, although one has to think that the Robots will turn their act around. Junior Quarterback Mtupeni Onwuatuegwu has a wealth of weapons to choose from, and Uriah Anyar and Kuma Sandt have been spectacular; it's just that the Geomancers' Senior Quarterback Lance Ott has been as good as she has. As for the Spectral Monks of West Omnio, Freshman Quarterback Nyra Pendheim has been thrown into the deep end, and she is trying to get caught up to speed fast.

5 Air Force Academy High School 5 1 4 115 160 −45
6 Gurshan High School 5 0 5 103 170 −67
Summary: To see the Runners on top of this Conference, with their physical play led by Senior Running Back Ty Mott and Senior Outside Linebacker Jack Middleston, has been inspiring. The Cruisers of Hanai Central High School with Senior Quarterback Mikayla Anne has been great, too, but Ty Mott is running away with Player of the Year in the Conference. The Masterminds still have a shot, but their offense will need to do a lot better than they have been this season so far - ninety-five points scored in five games is not good enough, even if they have the best defense in the conference.
Chromia Conference

5 North Chromia High School 5 2 3 61 72 −11
6 Chromia School of History 5 1 4 65 99 −34
Summary: The Dread are still the team to beat, but the Terror are keeping thigs close. In what may be the most defensive conference in the country, South Chromia Junior Strong Safety Kyra Theodore has been brilliant, and South Chromia is the only team with one loss so far. As for the Defenders, Junior Running Back Erik Kenzie has been brilliant for them; Checkers High School and North Chromia High School still have a shot, while the Knights are a bit behind.

5 Facsimile High School 5 1 4 79 125 −46
6 Capital District Academy 5 0 5 38 97 −59
Summary: Make no mistake - this is the Martyrs' Conference, and everyone else is just a warmup for the playoffs. Enox Silverman assisting Noah Sellers, with the defense even playing decently enough? They'll be undefeated, or close. With Capital District Academy, the expected second place team, falling short, it's the Darkness, the Monsoon, and the Naysayers that all sit with two losses apiece. It'll be interesting to see who makes it out - though it shouldn't matter, as the Martyrs will likely win.
