This OOC thread is for the CEFA Cup. This cup will be a tournament competition that will involve national teams from countries in The Western Isles that are governed by the Confederation of Eastern Football Associations (CEFA). This is the first CEFA that will be organized by me, San Jimenez. A huge thank you to Athara Magarat and Dormill and Stiura for their support and help!

1. Before applying to join this competition please note that this is exclusively for nations in The Western Isles. Nations not in the region are not permitted to participate.

2. If you are a TWI nation, please make sure that your national team is governed by the CEFA. You can check if your nation is governed by the CEFA by clicking here.

3. Most importantly, be respectful. Please ensure that you are doing everything possible to ensure that this thread remains positive and successful.

Notes:

A few notable players in the Hintuwan team:

• The Singdang Twins - Adrian Singdang (2) and Baltazar Singdang (3) are twin brothers from Macapulao who are said to have "played football since birth". Their specialty in defense has made them well-known throughout the country for saving their team from defeat during especially close games.
• Shawn "Man of Steel" Taungbakal - Shawn Taungbakal (5) was a "striker" for the New Annecy Pirates (FC Carandang) and a champion of university-level Hintuwani football during the late 1980s. His surname, which translates to "one who works with steel" in Hintuwanese, led to local sports press labeling him with the moniker "man of steel" as a sort of pun in reference to his unflinching fortitude on the field. Since joining the national team, Taungbakal has been outshined by more adept strikers but has learned to play more defensively and synergizes well with the Singdang Twins.

Notable Players: This team outperformed even the wildest of Aeterosan Expectations, and in an attempt to take it all this year they've reorganized the Defenders with two new additions in Ricardo Drumont, a superbly talented player from the Aeterosan minor leagues, and Eric Fisher, a top college prospect from The University of Sonaris. Tomás Arreña still leads this squad and is looking to lead them even further this year. The national team has become immensely popular in the country after their strong outing last year, becoming one of the most popular entities in the entire country. Only time will tell if these new additions and re-energized fanbase will make the difference.

Notes: The Team has not changed much since the IFAF Cup last year due to many injuries and undeveloped young talent. Once again the bright star among the uprean football sky is Davi Torres, who has played a phenomenal season in the national league.
Only change to the team is the addition of Franscisco Suarez, who was picked instead of Luiz Paiva. Also the positions for the players have changed, as Rolando Aguas and Bruno Neves have been placed in the Midfield with Torres and Castro forming a double attack threat. Bruno Neves will play as an attacking midfielder in the formation, who can push forward out of the chain to assist the attack further.
