For the past 56 years (OOC: Nearly 5 and-a-half years), we have had a tournament dedicated to the many teams that were not part of the Sporting Regions of the Multiverse. We have had fantastic tournaments filled with moments of joy, despair, and surprises, with many unique champions to claim the title of Independent Associations Championship.

Today, we reach to a historic edition of this now-prestigious competition: The 15th edition of the Independent Associations Championship. To commemorate this historic mark in a now staple Regional Tournament, we shall bring forward a tournament that truly represents the many nations of the IAC: A tournament held throughout multiple venues across multiple host nations.

16 nations will welcome the 48 participants in what may be one of the most passionate and entertaining tournament in the history of the IAC. For 48 teams, these 16 venues will be the roads for teams to seek the goal at the end of the tournament: To be Champion of the Independent Associations.

Rosters:
All participants are strongly encouraged to post a roster. As stated in the host bid, any nation which does not post a roster prior to the RP cutoff for matchday 1 will not receive your skill points until you have posted a roster. You may name as many or as few players to your roster as you wish. The only major requirement for your roster is that you include a permissions box as follows:

RP PERMISSIONS
If my opponent roleplays first, they may:
Choose my starting lineup: Y/N
Choose my goalscorers: Y/N
Godmod scoring events: Y/N
RP injuries to my players: Y/N
Godmod injuries to my players: Y/N
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Y/N
Hand out red cards to my players: Y/N
Godmod other events: Y/N

For those who don't know, Godmodding refers to RPing events that are beyond the bounds of what could realistically be expected to occur in a normal football match. If your star player scores all goals in absurdly talented fashion in a match, this is not godmodding. If there is an alien invasion that caused one team to leave the pitch and allowed your team to score the goals on an empty net, this is godmodding. You may also include a style modifier for your team. This is a value between -5 and 5 that indicates how your team plays. -5 is very defensive, while 5 is very attacking. Any nation whose roster that does not include a style modifier will be assumed to want a neutral style modifier of 0.

Host Nations and Venues

Welcome everyone to the 15th edition of the Independent Association Championship. To celebrate such a historic edition of the IAC, this tournament will have its various matches played across 16 different venues in 16 different host nations. To note, the first team listed in every group is the nation that will play all their group stage games in their venue.

Please take note of the information of the host nations so that visiting teams and fans can be aware of the different customs and experiences that one can expect when visiting these host nations.

Group A
Poafmersia and Saterun

Poafmersia

Poafmersia is a really huge country located in The North Pacific, with a size of 1.78 million square kilometers. Home to approximately 650 million residents, the country is well known for its really idealistic policies and governance system. Many Poafmers consider the nation to be at the forefront of "pioneering government policies", ranging from her environmental policies, her system of governance, as well as building a multicultural society. Even though the majority belong to the Jaffan race, Poafmersia is home to 27 ethnicities in total, according to government estimates. The true proportion of these ethnicities, however, is not official tracked, under the "Ethnic Protection Act" which forbids collection of data related to ethnicity.

Transportation
Many visitors may find themselves unused to the transportation system in Poafmersia. The nation's emphasis on environmental protection has made public transport the main method of transport for Poafmers and visitors alike. While there are inter-city roads that are open for private vehicles, these vehicles are not allowed with many city limits, including Trimidau Island, City of Mancodas, City of Dalaris, Fiskadaha City, and Holhot, among other places. For small groups who require personalised transport, they would typically charter minibuses or electric taxis, which are readily available in big cities. Otherwise, the rail system or the public buses is the main method of travel.

Between cities, there are inter-city railways, as well as cross-state buses, that allow for travel from one side of the country to other. For smaller counties and townships, there are also shuttle train and bus services that serve these areas. Because such places may be out of the place and may not be as well connected, residents in these places may be more likely to own private vehicles. There are rules and regulations in place governing the ownership of these vehicles, as well as the type of vehicles.

For the 43 teams coming to Poafmersia, it would be possible to charter buses for the teams to travel from a city to another for matches. The alternative, however, would be to charter trains - and many major inter-city railways have express tracks for express services, that would allow for quicker travel alternatives. There are also 4 high-speed rail services that serve different parts of the country, namely the Mancodas-Fiskadaha Express (between Mancodas and Fiskadaha City); the Trimidau-Dalaris Rail (between City of Dalaris and Trimidau Island); the Holhot-Fiskadaha Line (between Fiskadaha City and Holhot, with selected stops at major cities such as Sarim, Jackinson and Paishi-jak); and the North-South Railway (starting at Madaris, stopping in the outer limits of Greater Mancodas, Fiskadaha City, before moving on to Georgetown, on the inner limits of the City of Dalaris).

Culture
Poafmersia is very welcoming to foreign visitors who are exploring the country. The people's openness to visitors was something that couldn't be taken for granted a decade ago - when Poafmersia was largely isolationist. Sports has been a major avenue where Poafmers have gained exposure to foreign nations, especially in football, which is the most popular and successful sport in Poafmersia. Other major sports include volleyball, hockey (both field and ice hockey), badminton and aquatics, though the skill level of the sportsmen largely varies.

In Poafmersia, racial and gender stereotypes are frowned upon. In many sports, men and women co-exist in national leagues, and gender neutral terms are largely preferred. As such, conversations that crosses the racial and gender lines will probably get you into trouble, so visitors should be careful of that. Care for the environment is something that is extremely unique in Poafmersia. Visitors in hotel rooms would be expected to sort out their waste between recyclables and non-recyclables. At restaurants and dining places, food wastes are chargeable, and diners are reminded to request for smaller portions if necessary. The country has largely eliminated use of plastic cups, cutlery and bags. At shopping malls, people bring recyclable bags or buy paper bags; at drink stalls, people bring their own bottles and tumblers. Visitors to Poafmersia are also expected to abide by these environmentally-friendly guidelines, and there are reminder announcements played at major ports of entry.

Libira National Stadium, Fiskadaha City (capacity 68,000)
Image
Located in the heart of Fiskadaha City, it is the home stadium of the Poafmersian National Team, and hosts the PFFA Cup finals yearly. The Libira National Stadium is a multi-use stadium which could be used to host other events, and is one of the first stadiums to have the multi-use feature with regards to the field.

Saterun

The Adam Antwerp Arena was named after the first Saterun FA president. It can hold 55,000 people. It has hosted World Cup Qualifying, the Final of the first Lazarus Cup of Nations, and is set to host the first final of the Copa Nacional, Saterun's domestic cup. The seats have large portions painted purple, with orange bands running down in intervals. The reason for the coloring is that Saterun flag used to contain those colors, and although the stadium was built way after that time, it is a ode to days past. The atmosphere is always fantastic, and it will certainly be filled on matchday.

Daxler is the second historic capital of the nation. It was after Tsear and before Anasb. It has a population of 2.3 million. It is host to a professional team, Daxler AFC, that plays in the A Liga. Daxler is very cultured, and has a high percent of Burikinain people. It has several districts, including Highfield, Court Dlane, and Savoy. There is plenty to do, and the city has a league similar to the Taça's of Brasil. Daxler AFC, or AFC as they are known as, doesn't play because of the skill variant and fixture conflicts. The teams are from different neighborhoods. There are a total of 10. You may want to catch a match before heading to one of the many theatres in the city, or maybe a restaurant in Savoy. The Adam Antwerp Arena, Daxler, and Saterun welcome you.

Group B
Trolleborg and SRS

Trolleborg

1st December Stadium, capacity 100,000.
Image

This stadium was built by the voluntary labor of ordinary citizens in the honour of the sacred 1th December, Trolleborg Day of Victory. And due to that tickets to all games taken place here is always free, altought in the cases there are high demand (like in this tournament) they are arranged by lottery. Guest teams always have their quota.

The Stadium is located in a beautiful place – in the middle of a forested area on a peninsula protruding into the sea near the capital. Three stations of subway transport and stops of two bus routes located within two kilometers, and this allow fans arrive and leave stadium quickly and troubleless. Specially designed climate system provides around the stadium constant sunny weather with t +18C, with, maybe, occasional gusts of winds from the nearby sea.

SRS

Castle Street
Capacity: 57,300
Location: Jaglan, Algolia, SRS
Tenant: Jaglan Royals FC
Prior Events Hosted: AOCL XL Final, 4 WC Qualifying matches (SRS v Ochre Islands WC89Q, SRS v Gyatso-kai WC87Q, SRS v Lochario WC85Q, SRS v Anollasia WC83Q)
Description: The stadium is mostly enclosed with an opening in the roof over the playing surface. It is located adjacent to the East Bank entertainment and dining district of Jaglan, an important city and state capital in the southern SRS. The local climate is best described as Mediterranean, with generally dry summers and mild, wet winters.

Group C
HUElavia and Sudilia

HUElavia

Curumba is the capital city of The United States of HUElavia, sitting along the southern coastline of Southern HUElavia at Golden Bay, serving as the coliding capital of not just of the Portuzian and Astellian cultures, but of all the cultures and ethnicities that call HUElavia home. With a population of over 23 million inhabitants, it is the largest city of the country. The city is a very technologically advanced one, with arcitecture having a mix of Portuzian and Astellian designs blending with modern features. There is also the mix of modern blending with the various arcitecture from other cultures nestled in the city. There are a wide variety of things to do and see, from various museums and cultural events dedicated to HUElavian history and culture, to visiting the beautiful beach and bay, to enjoying a nice and fulfilling meal in one of various restaurants, to purchasing various things in the many stores, to enjoying many parks and gardens throughout the city. Fans can get around the city using the highly advanced public transportation system, whether it be the rail system or buses that go around different parts of the city. There's something for everyone to do and enjoy in this city.

Estadio Nacional in northeast Curumba, home of Real Curumba CF, will be HUElavia's venue for the Independent Associations Championship 15. With a capacity of 100,000 spectators, it is the largest stadium in HUElavia. It is an all-seater stadium with over 20 VIP Suites around the stadium, along with different concourses filled with shops and food for fans to fans to buy. There is also a 360* scoreboard that can show the match in different angles, as well as show live scores from throughout the tournament. There is also a retractable roof with climate-control technology in the stadium, making weather a no problem for the teams playing.

Sudilia

Sudilia is a massive nation located in North Newmerica, that has a population of over 150 million Sudilians. The country has a history of being colonized by Francs to the east and Angshire to the west, making the country bilingual and bicultural in English and French. While relatively young, the nation has a strong level of Civil Rights and Political Freedoms and a developing economy. The people are known to be very cheerful, compassionate, and religiously devout.

The SM Bank Field (35,000) in Manchbury will host games in IAC 15, having a fairly decent seating tier with some partial covering on some of the seats. There are plenty of amenities and stores throughout the stadium for fans to buy memorabilia and have a nice snack or meal throughout the games.

Group D
Squidroidia and StrayaRoos Barrier Islands

Squidroidia

Venue Name: Inkopolis City Stadium
City: Inkopolis, Squidroidia
Capacity: 50,000

Venue Information: Home of Inkopolis FC of the Squidroidian Super League (Which has undergone a change to a tournament-based format like RL tennis and (sorta) Gaelic football), Inkopolis City Stadium is the largest stadium in Squidroidia and has held various high-profile sporting events within the country, from numerous World Bowl games to games in the now-defunct Squidroidia Lacrosse Premier League, and has served as the host venue of the Squidroidian Cup Final since its inception and has hosted the 4th FFI League of Victors final. More recently with the SSL format change it co-hosts the SSL Finals tournament with Tower Park, also in the city of Inkopolis, and hosts the Squidroidian Super League Grand Final, the league's championship game.

Nation Information: Squidroidia was a nation born from ashes, risen from the corpse of Inkhalla after the attack of the Squidroid Sisters in 2017, which lasted about 5 months and caused major damage to the nation. A ragtag group of Inklings and humans alike, led by future Leader of Squidroidia Higa Takanori, eventually took down the Squidroids at the Battle of Inkopolis Square and founded the nation of Squidroidia shortly thereafter. Originally a very tight dictatorship, Takanori's declining health has slowly opened the nation to more free ideals, and is ready to welcome the multiverse to its shores. Squidroidia's national sport for the minority Inkling population is sepak takraw, and the national sport for the majority human population is football. Squidroidia has also hosted the 2nd (And final) International Football Cup (I think you remember that one, Hue), the inaugural Sepak Takraw World Cup, 2 races in NSSCRA's Multiversal Cup Series at Spartansburg Speedway (Including the Round of 12 cutoff race in the Chase last edition) and made an... Unusual bid to host IAC 12 before eventually realizing that they could just turn up to Almuzahara and make the Final.

StrayaRoos Barrier Islands

For the country, it is Chaos with Emus everywhere, Duomji is Decrepit.

New National Stadium (35,000) brand new with 10 Clubs playing on it

Group E
TJUN-ia and Britonisea

TJUN-ia

The National Stadium in TJUN-ia City was built to accommodate as many outdoor sporting events as possible and while the football layout can be a bit shallow at times, that doesn't stop 74,000 spectators from trying to turn this ground into a football fortress. They are quite welcoming to any and all opposition who play here until foul play emerges in one way or another. The main stadium of both the JagBase and TJUN-ia as a whole, the scars of playoffs past has been lifted at last and now everyone is excited to return to the walls of our WC ascension once more...

Britonisea

Focusing on Telm & Stadium Strata
Telm City is the second-most populous city in the country with over 5 million people living there, but the largest city in terms of land size. The huge city is split into 11 boroughs, with the Borough of Strata being the focal point for the Independents Cup. Telm City used to be the capital city of Britonisea a long time ago and has enjoyed the benefits of this privilege - even today. Telm City is highly advanced and one of the major cities which contribute the most to the Britonish economy as the city is the largest that directly looks towards Terra Orientalia in Novapax within Britonisea, with the city being a huge base for those coming from Darkmania, Nightom, Karlmarlund and beyond. Telm City is highly accessible with three airports within city limits, including Telm City Worldwide Airport which sees up to 60 million passengers per (normal) year and three runways. Connections from the Worldwide Airport into the city is quick and fast but if you had a little bit more money and wanted to step right off the place straight into the somewhat organised cacophony that is Telm City, the Boroughs of Internationale and even Strata have their own airports (well technically, the airport is in Boscombe, but it is called Strata...don't tell anyone!). Focusing more on the Borough of Strata, it is known as the University borough with most students in Telm living on the southern side of the river where Strata is. The stadium that will be hosting is Stadium Strata which can hold up to 85,000 people but for the Independents Cup, capacity will be at 75,000 people. The modern, state-of-the-art building has hosted World Cup qualifiers and also the IBA Champions League too - it's made for big events such as the Independents Cup.

More Widely in Britonisea
Football has a moderate following in the country, but international football teams won't have to worry about stadiums not appearing full as Britons love a good day out and love supporting their favourite side. The Britons won't be rowdy and while they may celebrate rambunctiously if they win or are in the lead - they don't mean it in a rude way (they've just hardly experienced sporting success before!). Britons will be nice and cordial to international fans and you'd be able to flag a Briton down for help or directions as they'd be happy to help. Depending on where you go, they may be able to help you in multiple languages. While we're not expecting any international fans to understand Britonish, most people who speak that language are in the west of the country. If you speak French, you're most likely to be fine in the East (near Telm, Boschke and Eaux City). Other languages that will pop up in Britonisea are Spanish, Scotatrovan and Arabic (due to there being large immigrants or descendants from countries that speak those languages) but you may also be able to get help in Korean with the language being one of the most taught in the country due to the nation's proximity to one of it's closest allies, the Taeseon Republic. All in all, if you can speak English - just go with that!

Group F
Space and United Adaikes

Space

Venue: Extaterestrial Dome of Sport
Location: Space
The dome is constructed of clear plasticized glass allowing a cristal clear view of the stars and planets above. The dome will rotate with respect to its surroundings during matches for enhanced viewing, though any nearby stars (Stars within 2 or fewer Astonomical Units) will remain on the backside of the playing field to prevent glaring and temperature control.

United Adaikes

The Federal Republic of the United Adaikes is divided administratively in 8 regions: Adaikes (the national capital region), Ludsport, the Mille-mer islands-regions (East Mille-mer and West Mille-mer), the Ngadabrigg islands-region, Saymacrell, Thraproy, and Thurhope. The islands-regions do not have cities and are managed by the regional government. After an investment by the federal and regional government a few years ago, they have designated Thraproy as the Sports Capital of the United Adaikes.

The region of Thraproy has five (5) cities: Fort Bloom, Neojunc, Perthdoches, Steskia (the regional capital), and Wrarnerbadshot. Sportstown is found in the greater and central Steskia, and to uphold the name of the Sports Capital in the country, stadiums, courts and other playing venues of every known sport can be seen around the whole region.

With the latest funding of both the federal and regional government, Steskia has the New Thraproy Sports Complex, where all main stadiums and venues for sports (both outdoor and indoor) are found, including the Steskia Coliseum (25, 138 seating capacity; used in home games of the United Adaikes in the IBC 33 & 34), the Millenium Stadium (56, 000 seating capacity; used in IBS XVI), and the Main Football Stadium (used in home games for the United Adaikes national men's and mixed football teams).

The Main Football Stadium has a seating capacity of 70,000, including multiple press boxes, and three VIP boxes.

Group G
Almuzahara and Drawkland

Almuzahara

The political and economic center of the Holy Republic of Almuzahara, Al-Fayit is a shining beacon of modernity in an otherwise still-developing nation. As one might expect, its football teams and infrastructure are world-class as a result, with Al-Fayit and Al-Watanin using expensive new signings to take home seven of the last eight league titles in shiny new stadiums. Despite all this spending, Al-Fayit has remained true to its religious, revolutionary origins, albeit at the cost of rampant ecological devastation in the surrounding area. Visitors to the partially-planned capital will be fascinated by the juxtaposition of a wide array of night markets, elaborate mosques, sprawling commercial districts, and fiercely socialist government areas.

Stadium of the Vanguard (cap. 40,000) in Al-Fayit

Drawkland

Kanyo Pitch (164,000) Kayo, Drawkland
"Kayo is the capital city of the Kanyoet Territory, and was the seat of power in the region before Drawkland formed as a nation. It was here that the Queendom which eventually gave birth to Kanyo was located. Kanyo is one of the founding members of Drawkland and currently one of its immortal Drawkionels. The Queendom was the largest sovereign territory in the land before the nation united. Kanyo's forces were instrumental in helping Iarocav in the Great Kingdom War which pitted those two against the forces of Callagard and Malicoll.

The city itself is one of the oldest in Drawkland. Situated on one of the eastern peninsulas of Drawkland, Kayo surrounds a large lake which empties into the nearby ocean. Because of this, it enjoys the benefits of being both an inland town and a coastal one. The original center of the city was the massive citadel, which was split into 12 sections. In the center of the citadel is the Queen's castle. Since these ancient days, the city has expanded more and more as technology and infrastructure grew. Kayo is the third-largest city in Drawkland and the largest outside the Metro District (specifically Drawk City and Metropolon).

Just like Kayo is the largest city outside of Drawk City and Metropolon, Kanyo Pitch is the largest stadium outside of Drawk City. With massive columns marking the exterior, and a fashionable stone-textured facade right smack in the middle of downtown, it's one of the more iconic and beautiful stadia in the nation. The luxury accommodations are top-notch, and the seating for the hundreds of thousands of regular fans aren't bad either. In a similar manner to the Citadel, Kanyo Pitch's grandstands are arranged in a perfectly circular bowl, and a similarly circular upper deck. The bowl itself is split into 12 large sections to further mimic the citadel appearance. Kanyo Pitch has held international matches on four occasions: Baptism of Fire 65, World Cup 79 & 86, and IAC-7.

Group H
Indusse and Montana Verde

Indusse

The Avenue of Sports is the largest sporting village in Indusse. Located in New Hind City, the capital of the nation; It is home to various sporting grounds including Indussean National Team's home ground.

The Aditya Varma Kulashekara International Stadium, as it is called is Indusse's largest stadium and the home ground of the Indussean National Team

Attendance: 131,561

Montana Verde

Upon arrival at the Aeropuerto Internacional de Montatina, Santa Margarita, the first thing many visitors will see is the beautiful bay view over the harbor, which is fortunate as it tends to distract from the fact that the airport terminal is in rubble. A tragic casualty of the civil war that has blighted the Rainforest Republic in recent years, the shelled-out building is a potent reminder of all that has been lost. Except for scrap metal dealers. Air travellers may find many of the small private airfields dotted around the country more efficient, providing they are not currently being used by cartels and/or private military companies. Travel by sea is also an option, with daily ferries arriving in the Santa Margarita port. Lucky seagoers might think they even glimpse a pod of dolphins on their way in! (They’re actually narcosubmarines, but still.) Overland llama caravans may be the slower option, but for the dedicated traveller there’s no better way to experience the native country.
Arrival by helicopter ride is not recommended.

However you arrive, once on Verdean soil you will need your ID papers. This is a minor bureaucratic necessity; under the benevolent Presidenta Jazmín Santángel Hurtado, ID papers merely exist to promote greater social harmony and ensure the security of the state, and the special insignia attached to the papers of all former regime supporters are in no way a cause for alarm. You may also be tempted to exchange your Universal Standard Dollars for pesos. Be very careful, as the disruption caused by the civil war has led to a notable uptick in counterfeiting. Look out for notes featuring smudged ink, poor quality design, and obvious typographical errors; anything else is likely to be a forgery.

In most cases, buses will be the cheapest and most efficient means of travelling around the country. Only Santa Margarita has an intra-city rail service, whose timetable is highly recommended to those wanting to sample some native Verdean comedy. Private car hire is an option for those willing to spend a little more money. The ride-sharing app Fubar is popular and there are occasional violent clashes with members of the Taxi Drivers’ Union, but for a cunning tourist there’s an opportunity to negotiate a better price! A similar spirit of entrepreneurship has entered the accommodation market thanks to the AeroByB app. Everyone wants to be a landlord! Which, given what’s coming down the political pipeline, is a deeply unfortunate career choice… but for now enjoy the low low prices! Or you can seek out a more traditional experience at an EcoñoHotel, the government-run budget chain.

There’s much to enjoy in Montaña Verde, whether it’s whale watching on the coast (an experience significantly improved now that Græntfjaller whalers have left the waters) or enjoying a sunny day on the beach; or exploring the rainforests on a guided tour (unescorted foreigners are advised not to venture into jungles that can contain dangerous animals, poisonous plants, pro-government militias, anti-government militias, and militias that haven’t quite made their mind up about the government yet). The Verdean Andes are a significant trek away from any of the host cities but are an option for those wanting to break up their trip with scenic mountaintop views. Verdean cuisine is rich and varied, from fried plantains and corn cakes to chicharrón and chorizo, and you can’t leave without trying a famous Verdean banana, which is the country’s biggest agricultural export! Well, second biggest… Recent cartel activity should not be a concern for visitors, and the major narcotraficantes are as keen for the tournament to be a success as anyone, with some even sponsoring stadiums and paying organizational costs for the tournament.

Montaña Verde has fourteen grounds that meet official international standards, conveniently found in seven pairs. Three pairs are located in the capital of Santa Margarita (La Cerida, a working-class industrial neighborhood; Yaririo, a heavily diverse neighborhood with a bustling fish market; and Tamramerín, the ceremonial central district with many of the major administrative buildings); as well as one in the coastal city of Medemenia, another in the religious city of Cotata further west amid the foothills of the mountains, one in Rocalaro, which is a little way to the south, among the cattle plains, and one in Valerigua, another coastal city, but further east with a more humid, jungle climate.

About the Manager

Shane Newman is a Baker Park born, who took the chance to become the first NT boss for Havynwilde with an understanding that he would have time & resources to build from scratch. He was hounded by negative media coverage, the unrealisitc expectations of supporters & the governing body, and no investment to correct the dearth of talent in the domestic league. He was unceremoniously fired while out of the country on holiday. He'll consider his time there a learning experience. Was the chief defensive architect for the BPNT in the first three WC cycles.Aged 49 and married with three children--a boy and two girls--he will look to the domestic league for talent by focusing on technique, pace, and positional flexibility.

The Playing XI

#1 Steve Leghorn (Goalkeeper)
Steve Leghorn, that name when spoken in Indusse creates a legendary vibe. If anyone asks an Indussean who's your favourite goalkeeper, they would say without wasting a second that it's none other than Steve. Steve is well known due to his performance and his charitable trust. He's a well known figure in the nation who could be a political mastermind. He started his career in Trau de Mongers FC, a local football club in Southbay which soon died after his transfer. His quality performance in the club got him a direct ticket to Southbay Riveria FC B team and soon into the main team. He played for three seasons for Southbay and won the Golden Gloves award in all the seasons. His omnipresent performance got him into the national camp and get him into the best Goalkeeper the nation has ever seen. After this transfer from Southbay to Dhalopura FC, he's been winning all the Golden Gloves in the participated seasons without giving others a chance to snatch them. He's the real saviour of Indusse, saving the nation from the cannon ball like opponent goal shots.

#6 Sampath Singh Aksinwala (Defender)
The Aksinwalas are a well known wrestling clan in Sindvpore. They are those people out there who smash everyone down who stands against them. Sampath Singh Aksinwala could have followed his family customs and traditions and become a wrestling champion smashing all down like a rock. Well, he had started his sporting career as a wrestler back in his 13s but he slowly got interested in soccer and with his fit physique he was a perfect fit for a defender. At his early years, he always got red cards in his matches since he used to throw his opponents away thinking that he is wrestling. The Local Clubs still gave him chance to play and he slowly changed his wrestling in soccer into total defender football. He started to be known all over Sindvpore and he got another call from Sindvpore FC. He still plays for Sindvpore FC and played a major role in their Liga Prima Victory and FFI Cup Victory. He is now the vice captain of Sindvpore FC and is a really important member of the Indussean National Team.

#13 Mathias Paulson (Defender)
Mathias Paulson born to a wealthy Syrian Christian family in Southbay. He wasn't a soccer maniac or something, who would have started playing for clubs before teenage. He started playing at the age of fifteen for several local clubs including his school and college clubs. After this Sport Medicine graduation from Saint Louis Holiness College in Jawaruyah, he got a mail from the Jawaruyah XI FC for being a defence and fitness co trainer. With his outmost hardwork in the game, he soon won a lot of awards and got a call from Rockies International FC for being their defender. He soon left Jawaruyah for Rockies Islands, it was his perfect defending which let the club rise from Division to to Primary Division tournament Liga Prime. The Team reached top three of the primary division tournament after his arrival and he also received a lot of awards for his play. With his arrival in Liga Prime and as a successor to former Rockies Defender Maryland Bruno (Maryland is his nickname because he used to run a cookie brand called Maryland Food), he got into the radar of National team selectors. He later got the call of the selectors to join the national team camp which was the turnover in his career. He soon became a well known defender in the nation and the captain of Rockies International FC.

#4 Aaron McMuller (defender)
Aaron McMuller, born as Aaron Davis Miller is a thirty two year old defender who earned fame during the early transition period. He started playing for Malta FC at the age of Eighteen since his father was the owner of the club. Eventhough it's an unconstitutional admission to the club, he later got to be the key player of the team. His direct ticket to the club without any obstacles made his way to the national camp easy. His defensive analysis gameplay got famed through out Malta and it's neighborhood provinces of Sindvpore and Cheralam. With the fame rising and clubs waiting to get him to their home, the national team selectors caught on him and added him into the national team squad list. Everything was quick for him, the transition from a club player into a professional footballer. The transition from a rich kid into a really rich earning star. The transition from slow paced defense into quick defense and counter strikes... Everything. He is also known as the only defender in Indusse who has scored 100 goals in their domestic history.

#9 Alexis Budtedjson (Mid Fielder)
Alexis Budtedjson, that's the name of the all in all of pass gameplay. Budtedjson has been a major part of the team in every international match played. He has been scoring goals, defending goals and making ways for goals. A complete footballer they say, he's having the chance to be the next captain of Indusse if he doesn't retire. Alexis was born as a neighbor to Baskar Kumar and has been his childhood friend. Both of them started to chase their dreams together and it was Alexis who got into professional football first. Alexis started his professional career with New Hind City FC B team. His perfect play, in the B team got him into Dhalopura FC. His best career club ever, Dhalopura FC got him into fame and later Gav him the ticket to National Team. He scored his first international goal in his debut match and he says that it's his favourite memory. He later got transferred into Sindvpore FC and has been playing for the team. During the colonial era in Indusse, he started working for the national police force (NPF) and he got promoted into the assistant commissioner of Hind City. His wife, Samantha Budtedjson is a well known tennis player of Indusse. She's currently playing in the NSTT for Indusse.

#14 Djetson Hazle (Mid Fielder)
Born as Djetson Hazlett to Dr. Henry Hazlett and Maria Henry in Sindvpore, Djetson change his surname at the age of sixteen to Hazle for joining film industry since there was a prominent star "Philip Hazlett" existing. He couldn't do much in the film industry, which changed his route into football. He played for the national U-18 team due to his absolutely commendable performance for his club Sindvpore FC. His performance also brought him into the national team and got himself as.a key player. He still plays for Sindvpore FC and took part in the Championship of FFI. He is married to Katherine Hazlett, daughter of film star Philip Hazlett. Katherine is also a prominent film star in Indusse. Hazle also took part in futsal and also tried a hand in hockey. But he later realised that he was made for professional soccer.

#10 Baskar H Kumar (Forward)
The best footballer Indusse has seen, that's what Baskar Kumar is. "If Baskar isn't there then, indusse wouldn't play well anytime soon" says Joseph Moteudi.Baskar Kumar was born to District Magistrate Hariharan Kumar and Adv. Maya Devi in Hind City. He started his soccer experience at an age of twelve playing for his school team. He later graduated for Political Studies and played for the university team. His quality performance for the University got him selected for Hind City FC B team and later to Hind City FC. His performance got him a ticket to the national team and he is still one of the oldest players in the national team. He is the current captain of New Hind City FC and Indussean National Team. He is currently the only player in Indusse scoring five hundred goals and the highest goal scorer in Indussean history. At the time of colonial opression, he took part in the independence movement and became the first and current president (term two) of Indusse. He played a major role in changing indusse from "Demoarchal Kingdom" to "Al shayarid empire" to "Holy Patriarchal Union and Republic". He was invested with Bharatratna award given out by India for the best politician.

#7 Bechun Butea (Forward)
Once the best substitute to Baskar Kumar, now he faces a lot of competition from his fellow mates out there.Born to the family of footballers, Bechun didn't face any difficulty to choose his career. At the age of seven, his father admitted him to a local coaching center and with the basic skills got him into the Sindvpore Football Federation Training Center. Bechun's father was Takawilaka Butea, who got elected as the President of Sindvpore Football Federation. Bechun played his first professional match for Sindvpore FC and got transferred into Southbay Riveria FC. He later scored a lot of Goals opening his way to the national camp. He played as a captain substitute and vice captain of the national team and captain of Southbay Riveria FC until Baskar Kumar joined. He also played a major role in the Goblin Humanoid Project which created Goblin Grundjee, who's the first non human national player in Indusse. A football goblin was Bechun's idea. He also got the National Sports Academy Mentor post and is currently the cheif mentor of U-18 national team. His brother, Lalguvasara is the coach of Malta FC and his son Jackson Butea is playing for Sindvpore FC under 18 team.

#11 Antonio Mersiás (Forward)
The second youngest recruit in the camp, Antonio Mersiás is a well known youth idol in the nation. He was the captain of Indussean youth team in the Sporting World Cup. He led the team into the semi finals of the tournament till they lost to Starblaydia's young guns. He was born in Karadawadi, a county in Dhalopura to Francis Antony, who was a carpenter and Selina Francis. He lived as a poor kid going to the village school who wasn't so good at academics but bright in sports. His quality sporting skills caught the eyes of the headmaster there, who admitted him to the local football training sessions. The headmaster soon send him to the Jawal-Biesse the nearest city for his studies. He played for the Jawal-Biesse FC for three years and captained the team until he was called to play for the Dhalopura FC. He got selected to the U-18 team as soon as he played his first match for Dhalopura FC. His quality play in the club also got him promoted as the captain of the youth team. His awesome, historical performance for the youth team got him a quick ticket to the National Team Camp. He is currently an important part of the national team who cannot be replaced easily.

#100 Goblin Grundjee (Forward)
Goblin Grundjee who is the first ever non-human sportsperson from Indusse. The Grundjee's are one of the families of the Goblin species that was created by the scientists by DNA Modelling. The scientists created a new race of Goblins through gene editing and combining the DNAs of Humans with certain animals and Algae. The goblin species were divided into three families were Grundjees are one of the major part. The other two families are called Mithys and Auris. The current members of the grundjee family is Colonel Grundjee who is a Colonel in the royal army of Indusse. The gene of colonel Grundjee was created by merging the genes of three colonels of the army with the genes of a eagle and the green algae. The green algae plays a necessary role in getting the green Color of the skin. The other member is Goblin Grundjee who is currently playing for the juniors. His gene was created by merging the genes of David Bekem, a former football and of a wild horse. The green algae is also a necessary part of the composition. The grundjee family has the green composition of skins due to green algae. Whereas, Mithys has a brownish red skin due to the presence of Blue-green Algae with Iron sediments, Auris family has the skin Color of a normal human as there isn't any presence of algae. The skin textures and patterns of the goblins are same as the humans and the color is the only thing that can discriminate it with humans. The scientific community believe that the goblin race will create revolution in the world of science. The creation of Goblin Grundjee was overseen by fellow player Bechun Butea who also played a major role in bringing Grundjee as a experimental player. Well, Grundjee is currently one of the best strikers the nation has seen.

Kriegiersien Football Nationalteam

The last IAC ended with a surprising semi finals for the Kriegiersien team, now being in the Top 10 in the Ranking.
The players were already out of the perspective team, a team that is build up with youngsters to win an Olympic medal, only playing as national team together all the time, not competing in domestic competition.

Knowing their failure at the Olympics and that they would soon have to look for jobs with other teams, the players wanted to end the last get-together with a bang.
But not on the football field, but on the party mile. They were mostly hanging out having fun in Belnegau, on Parties and eating Fast Food.
To the surprise of their coaches and everyone, they made it into the semi finals, the biggest succes by far for a Kriegiersien team at the IC.
So, even though most players are unemployed now or playing in minor leagues, the exact squad was put together again instead of the new Olympic perspective team, to show a last time what they can do.

Kriegiersien always plays in their black Olympic rags.. jerseys they use for every sport.
Image

If they can't play in black and neither nude, as nudity is mandatory in Kriegiersien, they try to steal the next best tricot as alternative for black.

Kriegiersien lineup for the IAC 15:

Assistant Manager
Riso Becker
Coach
Viveka Schweizer
Fitness Coach
Emanuel Lacusta
Hicham Bensoussan
Goalkeeper Coach
Deyvis Bryant Acori

Image

Che Lopera (Timesteam)
Became second goalkeeper at Kriegiersiens best club, but failed in the Cupfinal, letting a ball slip through his hands. Has not played in the Kriegiersien championship since then.

Zero (FC Vanilla)
Who's real name is too long for most jerseys, so he changed it. He got a contract in his old hometown, where he plays his active style with running out far too much, trying to dribble attackers and taking Freekicks whenever he can. While he didn’t score any goals, he also didn’t receive any in the few games he played in the southern league, making his name here true again.

Franz Faust (Muhr FC)
The sturdy defender plays for the team from the city with Kriegiersien biggest harbour. He plays there in the BSL (Balder Super League), where the team got last.

Marou Zoun (FC Winter City)
Plays for the team from the frozen Northeast, where he isn’t happy as it is very, very cold most of the time.

Ernest Le Bone (Timesteam)
Plays as defender again in the team were he started in his youth.

Adrian Schneider (Timesteam II)
Plays in the second team of the Presidents pet club

Davit Basmajian (HHW Candlekeep)
Wanted to experience the history in the central region were Kriegiersien was allegedly founded, starting for the legendary and possibly oldest club of the nation.

Miguel Owomoyela (Muhr FC)
Became Top Scorer of the second best club of Kriegiersien. And the worst in Balder.

Guntram Lukas Rothschild
Stopped professional football playing and started a career as Poker player and Bitcointrader.

Manfred Ari Zimmermann (FC Bigtopia – Coach):
Became thanks to his connections to Bigtopia coach of the FC Bigtopia, the youth team out of Bigtopian immigrants in Kriegiersien, that became Youth Champion of the Balder Super League.

Janica Dietfried Wannemaker (Scorpion City Meerkats)
Signed a contract with the highest salary any player ever got in this club and paid it back with 69 goals and assists.

Daniel Werner (Timesteam)
Got bought as pricy reserve player for the bench of the Kriegiersien champion.

Viktor Vorontsov-Dashkov
Stopped playing and became Foodtester. Dashi (as he was called), the Top Scorer of the Olympic team and living legend, declined every offer from his own youth club Timesteam. Came only back for a well roasted chicken on toast to play with his anticipated successor Xian Cheung in the National team.

Eetu Peerson (FC Schoenwetter)
Made the deciding goal in the Cupfinal against his former club Timesteam and gets harassed by its Fans since then.

Groninger Koek
Changed the sport and became Curling Pro.

Vanyaaar Starrrgoal (FC Pirate City)
Plays on an isle only 500 miles away from her hometown in the B-League of the Sealeague. Still tries to get into the Womens Olympic Football team.

Only the most talented player from the current Olympic perspective team was chosen to strengthen the team:
Xian Cheung DRC / SC
The player from East Kriegiersien is a young prodigy, that can not only play on nearly every position, with his size, strength and hunger for goals he was already the Topscorer of the Eastern League before and now the Topscorer of the Olympic Football team.

About the Team

Tom Villiers took over as the Head of the Hopalian National Soccer Program this year, taking over from the longtime coach and face of the national program, David Stoyers. Stoyers had seen the Hopalian team through almost every major soccer tournament for the team, and is credited for building the national program to this point. Villiers took over an aging team who hadn't been to a major tournament in over a year, and hadn't seen success internationally. The last time the Hopalian team competing in an Independents Cup, the 10th edition of the competition, the team finished dead last in its group with no wins. At the Olympics, the last international tournament in which a Hopalian team competed, the Men's team didn't even make it past the preliminary round. So when Tom Villiers took charge of the National Program, he decided he needed to change things up. He turned the Hopalian team, which historically had a offensive style of play, into a more defensive team, changing the formation to a more defence-heavy 4-3-2-1 formation. He leaned more on the successful defensive coach Allison Woodville, even offering her the position of Assistant Coach and Tactician, which she turned down, he would keep National Team veteran Robert De Ville in that role. He brought in the foreign-born David Horages to become Offensive Coach, a position which has never seen a long-term officeholder. Horages had coached the soccer program at Charlotte High School in Port Hope to the District Championship, and had a friend of Villers' for years before. On the Starting 11, Villers brought in some youngsters while relying on some tendered veterans to do some of the heavy lifting. Veterans like Adrian Turcotte, Henry Gowen, Helen Briere, Peter Fikudal, Jake Gonchar, and Tommy Sanchez lead the team into this tournament. While other long-time members of the team find themselves on the reserves such as Lucy Anderson, Justin Sanchez, Justin Gubre, and Don Duble. While others find themselves not on the National Team at all. Villiers brought in some members of the Hopalian Team at the 11th U-18 Championships, which made its way into the knockout round, at was the first Hopalian team at an international tournament. Players such as Kaylee Hintoshaber and Allison Terrace, and others on the reserves.

The Starsian National Football Team is The 14 Stars's national squad in association soccer competitions for national associations across the entire multiverse world of soccer.
There have been alot of changes since their last appearance in the World Cup 88 qualifiers, the sole governing body of the Starsian soccer industry had been disbanded.
With new transfer and new management Starsian soccer started to come back to its old form and in IAC 14 and WCQ90 our team has shown that they can deliver great matches.

With everyone of the old generation gone exept Alan White there is less experience but alot of new talent with the hopes of getting a good international result for their country.
Furthermore Landry and Young have proven to be an excellent coaching duo that has proven itself to be able to build a team from the ground and elevate it to great heights we never could have dreamt of in a such a short time.
With IAC 15 now coming they hope to use this new talent combined with a few more experienced members to bring the Starsian squad their best international result in their short history on the international stage.

Tactical Set-Up

The Starsian side is a very skilled team with a very high team chemistry and morale combining it with their quick paced game they are an opponent for all teams to watch out for due to their offensive style.
They play in a 4-3-3 which through the match can be changed to various other formations suiting the game that they play however they are an offensive team loving to have possesion of the ball.
It is know the Starsian team loves game control, taking the initiative and play their best, they are more willing to play a great game of soccer rather then simply getting a good result.

Left Corner Taker: Dylan Diam
Right Corner Taker: Becky Ray
Penalties: Holly Moonlight
Direct FK Taker: Kira Blade
Indirect FK Taker: Kira Blade
Most likely to foul/be booked: Jude Redwood
Most likely to shoot: Holly Moonlight
Most likely to score from close-range: Kira Blade
Most likely to score from long-range: Dylan Diam
Most likely to be fouled: Holly Moonlight
Most likely to attempt the spectacular: Becky Ray

Star players

Calvin Princeton
Its hard to be a goalkeeper and a star player at the same time, however this individual Calvin Princeton shows that it is more then possible with his spirit and motivational character.
He is a reliable pillar of support for the team both on and off the field who knows his teammates and what drives them, combined with some incredible goalkeeping talent hes is the number 1 goalie of the country now.
Others describe him as a sort of big brother to them, he can listen to others very well although he is not really talkative when he isn't in goal or doing anything soccer related.
He is the mark of a new generation of goalies that play more daring and play with the team instead of leading them.

Alan White
It is hard to be a veteran in a team with young players all around you, Nicolay Moon has retired from the national team and their captain Valerian has been gone too.
With those friends going away and Maximillian also retiring in not too long he remains as only veteran in a team full of newbies and younger players he has nothing in common with.
However this doesn't stop him from trying, he was one of the youngest of the old team and now he is one of the oldest and aims to give a good example for the youth so they can get the best out of themselves.
He also has a leading role now in the team, one he rather didn't had but in the light of current events he feels it as his responsibility both to himself and to Valerian to make happen what he started.
His defensive skill is unmatched though, his experience and his great judgement of an opponent is what makes his moves on point and rarely failing although he always plays on safe.

Holly Moonlight
After Maximillian Flare left there was a gap in the team and there is only one person good enough to fill that gap, she is known as the ''Ice Queen'' due to her ice cold finishing skill.
Everything she touches nearly hits the net, she is younger, faster and technically more advanced then her predecessor Flare ever could be and its all thanks to new age training methods.
Ever since she was young she was proclaimed as the next ace, she is along with Kira Blade one of those talents that the new generation of starsian soccer players brings here.
She made her debut in WCQ90 as a substitute and has been turned into a starter now with great future potential with many years to come for this young girl.

Kira Blade
The woman that everyone is looking out for, the next generation's leading light and the daughter of national hero and Phoenix academy coach Marcus Blade is the new up and coming star of the team.
While very young her skill is unmatched, Kira is able to read the flow of the game, adapt to her opponents and keep evolving herself even within a match she will always keep getting better which each time she plays.
Inherting her father insane scoring ability and spead she is more of a technical player and gets easily fouled on because she is known as the best player of the team and quickest, however her team play is very strong with the older members aswell and she shares a good friendship with Maximillian Flare.

After they were treated to an IBC debut earlier this year, Tjorlish sports fans celebrate once again as they make their extraregional association football debut. They are going to compete at the Independent Associations Championship 15, or simply known as IAC 15. The Frost Giants hope to make some noise in Group B, where they will face Magnecia, Trolleborg, East Slavona, Eshialand, and Belnegau. Squad captain Franz Kaufer said "We hope to give the fans back home something to cheer about, just like what our basketball team did in IBC 34. We're gonna try to be focused and take it one game at a time".

Background:

The Picksall Islands are a frigid archipelago to the north of the Zwangzugian mainland, known (if at all) for their vowel-heavy language and religious diversity. Residents are considered full citizens and politically the equal of their mainland counterparts; they should not be considered an independent country so much as an opportunistic "sub-national entity" that found a loophole allowing them to participate. They appeared in IAC 12 and are now back, most of the starting XI is the same but there are some new players on the bench.

Football in Zwangzug is a franchise-system rather than a promotion or relegation pyramid, so the islands only have amateur systems. Two of these players, Vūnēm Ibwō and Wōkēnd Kufind, had experience in the university system on the mainland, for Shanbock University and College of Twake respectively. They are the most skilled footballers by some distance, although since they have not been university students for some time, are out of practice.

Manager: Kim Higden is to date the only Picksall Islander to represent Zwangzug at full national level, as a goalkeeper in Eagles Cup 7 and the World Cup 80 cycle. She played for barnstormers Rovers United, who would occasionally provide the islands with top-level football, at club level. Despite being the obvious choice as manager, she is much better at the off-field logistics of developing infrastructure than anything involving charisma or loud encouragement.

The Picksall Islands team is very defensive-minded, even by the standards of their mainland counterparts; it's not exactly clear whether the fact that the roster is female-skewing is cause or effect here, but popular wisdom believes these to be correlated. Considering their inexperience, however, the positions may be more "guidelines" anyway.

They are also very much unlike their mainland counterparts in embracing Cabañas effect wholeheartedly. Higden has attempted to impose some semblance of tradition by asking the starting XI to wear numbers 1-11 in some order, but beyond that, they are somewhat more open-minded than the current national team about uniform numbers as well.

Boot It!: Welcome To The New Age

Postby TJUN-ia » Sat Mar 19, 2022 12:04 pm

Name: TJUN-ia
Trigram: TJU
Football Association: FA-TJUN-ia
Nickname: Jaguars (official)/Jags (short form)/Blue and Orange (commonly-used informal)/Draw Masters (satirical)
IAC Ranking: 3rd (10.687)

What a difference a year can make. One year ago, TJUN-ia played inside the National Stadium and qualified for their first-ever World Cup on the final day, a move which would lead to 2 points in the bag and the experience certainly gained over in Baker Park. 15 players said their goodbyes, the managers finally moved up to near-marriage and a new formation was announced for now...this IAC. IAC 15 is finally here, a tournament organised by HUElavia but hosted across 16 different nations in what is decreed as "IAC15 - Multiversal". One of those hosts is us, the National Stadium hosting its first senior tournament ever and that means that the people of TJUN-ia will get to watch their Jaguars play at least 5 Regional games at home - and you know they will be up for that.

But the TJUN-ian side they will watch is certainly different from the one of WC90. David Seems and Li Xiu Ying, who tied the knot a few months ago, oversaw the entire starting 11 retire on them - meaning a new XI had to be formed with a new formation in mind, 4-1-2-1-2, created in order to ensure the transition from U21 to Senior level is better for everyone. The team they came up with is one filled with both experience and some youthfulness, captained by Galarian Prince Carter with GK David N'kude as his VC. The 29 players who remained from WC90 have been joined by 4 from the U21s - including Chelsea Bluewood and Zelina Marquez, the first female players to ever be prompted to the senior side - and with everyone in this squad playing some football for the Young Jags, one thing is for certain - TJUN-ian football has entered a new age.

The Inkopolis Times

SPORTS

GOVERNMENT SPORTING ASSETS

Squidroidian Ministry for Sport formally announces ownership in a new Saint Eleanor team, plans to add more teams in the future

With the 15th Independent Associations Championship looming on the horizon, and Inkopolis having played a role already as a host city for Indie football's biggest showcase (Still without Zwangzug, Kelssek or now-reigning World Cup winners The Holy Empire), the Squidroidian government's Ministry for Sport has announced that it is pursuing a "Path to Glory" program, essentially confirming a long-held rumor that persisted after the failed bid to take over Zeta Rekan club Wharsager Der Berg, now owned by megabucks tycoonman D. Tommy Sanford and his PREMIER group, which itself has multiple more teams spread across Esportiva. The Ministry for Sport's first acquisition under this program was that for a new club set to play in the Saint Eleanor League for the upcoming season, going by the name of Newbanks United.

Contrary to the PREMIER group and sticking more to the idea of clubs as units with more unique identities, the Ministry for Sport will not choose to rename the clubs it runs in a bid to save face with fans already distraught with foreign owners meddling with the very symbolism of a football club, whether with Kinetic, PREMIER or another group entirely. Nevertheless Squidroidia's first venture into foreign club ownership will be with a completely brand new team, as Newbanks United will join the Saint Eleanor League for their 1999 season, alongside Kandorese owned Hiyashi Celestia. The club, based in the Newbanks district of Saint Eleanor, will also bring over 3 Squidroidian players, formerly of Youth League academies - Daiki Fujiwara, Nobuyuki Ishida and Hamnet Borysov, all of which are at or under 21 years of age.

"With the ownership of Newbanks United, Squidroidians who might be looking to move on from their local teams but perhaps aren't ready to dive into the top teams in the multiverse are already given at least one option to continue their careers abroad", said a joint statement from the Ministry for Sport and the Squidroidian Football Association announcing this new initiative. "At least one Squidroidian will be at every Path to Glory club every season, with anywhere from 20-50% of proceeds from selling Squidroidian players onto new teams, depending on what the team and its fans want, going back into the hands of the Squidroidian Football Association to spend on grassroots and youth efforts to improve the game in this country."

Even with the acquisition of Newbanks, the Squidroidian Ministry for Sport wants to take ownership of new clubs who may want to have some money pumped into their team, but at the same time don't want to erase their identity in the pursuit of winning silverware. The Ministry for Sport has already seen interest spring up from 2 StrayaRoos based teams looking to be sold, which they say will be evaluated and decided upon in the future. But ultimately, as per the Ministry, the goal is to own a network of clubs that will give Squidroidian talent multiple options to travel abroad if a top team doesn't come calling. While there is no interest as of now to bring a lower-tier club from one of the top nations into the fold, if the opportunity presents itself, they will look into it and decide on whether or not to invest in said team.

"This is not a business venture we are taking lightly, this is a chance for clubs to remain who they are and still welcome foreign investment", the statement later goes on to say. "If you want foreign influence with no loss of identity, we are welcome for you to join this revolution."

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ABANHFLEFT
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM - WOMEN

She tried, and she failed. Ginny Katesmar leaves Abanhfleft without winning a single football trophy, and in fact, she's been left behind at Montaña Verde to buy her own ticket back because the SFA are no longer paying for her travel fees. Heinrich Wurzmann will once again take over the women's national football team on a temporary basis for the entirety of the Independent Associations Championship, but if he's at the helm, then don't expect much from this team. It is what it is.

BASIC INFORMATION
Name of nation: Democratic Republic of Abanhfleft
Demonym: Fleftic
Team colors: Blue, orange, and green
Style modifier: +3.00
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Manager: Heinrich Wurzmann (74 y/o, Abanhfleft/Pridnestrovia)

STARTERS
GK: Bronwyn CHURCHILL 31 y/o, Rosenpfelblatz City Women Image
Bronwyn is the daughter of Rosenpfelblatz City's new manager Joseph "Joe" Churchill, one of the most decorated managers in the sport within the Fleftic sphere of influence. Bronwyn came with her dad to Rosenpfelblatz and immediately settled in well with the Lady Sky Blues' academy. She is a traditional keeper who prefers to keep close to goal and catch or slap away shots from that position, although she is learning to become a more athletic keeper now that she's training with the likes of Yannie Redborne, Marfa Kirilenko, and Blaze Chrzanowska. She's been elevated to starting goalie because Stephanie Bryan is off playing for the over-35 national team in the World Cup of Masters in Sarzonia.

RB: Queen YARNALL 28 y/o, Admiral Porcusces Women Image
A quiet and sturdy defender who for her age is already making waves not only in the youth leagues but also in her handful of appearances for the Admiral Porcusces Women senior team. Still needs some work obviously but she could have a very high ceiling indeed.

RCB: Christy SHEPLEY 32 y/o, Rosenpfelblatz City Women Image
At 6 feet 2 inches, Christy is already one of the tallest 17-year-old Fleftic central defenders ever in the Democratic Republic and its sphere of influence. Coupled with a supernatural defensive ability, it's a wonder why she's still on the bench and not starting, until one realizes that Christy is quite the thin and willowy girl. She's a good defender and good in aerial and dead-ball situations, there's no doubt about that, but it's still very much child's play to get her off of the ball, and applying the slightest amount of pressure turns Christy into a headless chicken.

LCB: Tiera WALRATH 30 y/o, Ogovlich Medusas Image
One quarter of the Ogovlich backline that won them the Youth Premier League title this season. Like Wilton Kaba beside her in the under-18 team, Tiera's main purpose is to win balls inside the box and then kick it right out of the danger area. Accuracy needs a bit of work though.

LB: Georgine BAUM 31 y/o, Pascal Mashu Image (Kita-Hinode)
Another player with foreign roots playing for the Democratic Republic. This time, Georgine's parents are immigrants, or rather expats, from Pridnestrovia, who escaped the country after her father said a few things that were not to President Field Marshal Stepan Stepanenko's liking. For a long time she was forced to play on the right but now she's back to her preferred left back position after some years being hung out to dry by the SFA. Surprisingly enough, her time playing in right back hasn't turned her into an ambidextrous threat. Maybe it was never meant to be.

RM: Trinidad KLEIST 33 y/o, Xemlice Rovers Ladies Image
Trinnie Kleist was always tipped to become a hard, no-nonsense midfielder who doesn't let the opposition get past her, and for once she actually developed into one such player. She's also matured to the point where she now times her tackles wisely and does them only when necessary. Still doesn't stop some referees whipping out the cards on Trinnie just because her reputation precedes her.

LM: Cecily SEGOVIA 33 y/o, Riuwiee United Women Image
CeCe Segovia is the creative foil to Trinnie Kleist's defensive midfielder. The Oontaz-born central midfielder is the creative outlet for the midfield, setting up passes and long balls to initiate the attack. But that doesn't mean she shirks from her defensive responsibilities. Still, like Trinnie, CeCe is still a bit enthusiastic with the sliding tackles and will get her name on the referee's notebook a fair few times.

RW: Elene LINER 31 y/o, Sarvusdalamoive Ladies Image
Even at her young age, Elene already has the look of a future fantastic keeper. Well, what else can be said about the Sarvusdalamoive Football Academy, which has turned out great Fleftic keepers like Maksim Varamoninov and Victoria Carter? Unfortunately, she's slipped down the pecking order, but only because Brook Arzate deserves the chance to start this time. She had a lot to make up for after that emotionally devastating penalty shootout loss against Schottia in the 9th Under-15 World Cup and she ended up not having the mental strength to get over the disappointment of the shootout so she decided to become a striker instead. This way she hopes to emulate some of Abanhfleft's star forwards like Matthew Cave and Ruud Akinfenyor who started off as goalkeepers and then decided to make the move up to the top of the pitch.

CAM: Prudence WOODWARD 31 y/o, Duhblakk Aztecs Image
Prudence Woodward is the third and final player of Panemian descent to represent the blue, orange, and green for the Sporting World Cup after Guildenstern Cardew and Poppaea Fleet-Street. Prudence has a taste for clever through-balls and occupying pockets of space in which she could create chances and even score a few goals herself. She became a mother after a one-night stand with fellow under-18 teammate Prince William Luckless, but she wants to emulate her fellow single mother footballer in Claudine Samaniego in having both a stable family and a good football career.

LW: Amelie RUSEV 31 y/o, Ludogorets Markovsky Ladies Image
Amelie Rusev is definitely the complete winger package now. Not only is she both quick and light on her feet and strong in the air and during challenges, she is ambidextrous, able to use both feet to send in long balls and crosses into the box when she wants. With that added crossing ability, Amelie has already cemented her place in the first team of Ludogorets Markovsky Ladies. As for being the next Miss Ludogorets though, for some reason the fans are reluctant to give her that unofficial title. Who knows why?

ST: Kelly McGINNIS 31 y/o, Hoventon & Corlington Town Image (Mercedini)
Kelly McGinnis could very well be the next Chelsea Stuart, and not just because she's become the starting striker for the Fleftic women's national football team. Kelly moved abroad to Mercedini's Hoventon & Corlington Town to continue her development as a striker, but almost a decade later and she's not won much with the Mercedinian side. She wants more, and if moving away from Hoventon & Corlington Town is the way to get it, then she'll just have to make the move.

RESERVES
GK: Deanna HERRING 23 y/o, Arsenal de Releinthi Women Image
Abanhfleft and Ginny Katesmar are taking a risk bringing two under-23 goalkeepers for this tournament as backup to Bronwyn Churchill, but then again, this is supposed to be a bunch of tune-up games after all. Deanna was rated enough by Kate Bernanos to be the starting goalkeeper for what could be Abanhfleft's last Di Bradini Cup for a while, but for the Mike Sarzo Memorial Trophy she's only good enough to warm the bench for Rona Churchill.

GK: Mihaela HRISTOVA 23 y/o, Rosenpfelblatz City Women Image
Mihaela was the third-string goalkeeper for the under-21 side in Di Bradini Cup 49 for Abanhfleft. She's still third-string here in Muralos, but now it's for the senior women's team itself. It's like a promotion but also not really one.

RB: Christina SINGLETERRY 23 y/o Wanda Island Wanderers Women Image
Christina is already a formidable defender with very good pace who can close down on opposing forwards before the goalkeeper even needs to come out of her area. Unfortunately for her though, the other areas of her game are weak, to put it mildly. Her stamina is weak, her technique is weak, and her passing leaves a lot to be desired.

CB: Brooke AUGUSTYN 32 y/o, Dinamo Bender Women Image (Pridnestrovia)
Augustyn didn't exactly become one of the best fullbacks to come out of Abanhfleft, but at least her career wasn't sidelined by too many injuries either. After a decent showing with Eielo Sunlight Women, she made the leap to Pridnestrovia and Dinamo Bender Women where she did well enough to make her way back to the national team.

CB: Skye EREVE 23 y/o Xemlice Rovers Ladies Image
Although Skye's skills as a defender may only appear to be adequate to many people's eyes, she more than makes up for it by her other skills, such as rapid race to close down on the opposing forwards, and she can also act as a ball-playing defender thanks to her technique and formidable passing skills. the only thing currently keeping her out of the Fleftic starting eleven is the far bigger experience of Tiera Walrath with the senior national team.

LB: Tien GOODLETT 29 y/o, Ogovlich Medusas Image
The second quarter of the Ogovlich backline that won the Youth Premier League. Tien is more of an attacking fullback who likes to maraud further up the pitch and assist in the attack. She still gets back in defense more times than not but a particularly quick counterattack could still leave her stranded where she can be of no help to her fellow defenders.

RM: SIBUSIZWE Kiggwancha 29 y/o, Athletic Motonou Image
SIbusizwe's greatest strength lies in the fact that she can win the ball in midfield more times than not. Of course, most of this is against girls and boys on or nearly the same age as she is, but when she turned out for Athletic Motonou's senior side in the last few matchdays of the Ladies' Third Division season (with the title already wrapped up for Motonou) Sibusizwe looked capable of doing much the same thing against players who were much older and much more experienced than her. Now, she may be older but she's still no closer to being able to show this side of her game regularly because of manager philosophies and better players becoming available for call-up to the national team.

CM: Poppaea FLEET-STREET 32 y/o, Ogovlich Medusas Image
Poppaea is a rock-solid midfielder with decent ball distribution skills but still has a tendency to go all in on tackles, especially sliding ones. She came out as a lesbian at a young age and has been a pillar in the local LGBTQ sporting community, so when she got dropped from the national team for other midfielders who are better at playing in midfield than her, there was an outcry. The situation calmed down through the years though, and now she's back in the national setup.

LM: Charlene WILLIAMSON 32 y/o, Admiral Porcusces Women Image
Charlene Williamson is the overlooked twin sister of Gareth Williamson. The reasons why she's been overlooked is because her main assets in football are mostly pace, acceleration, physicality, and a good long ball. Charlene can also run with the ball or chase it for 90 minutes and anyone stupid enough to try to take the ball away from her would find themselves on the ground almost immediately. Strangely though, Charlene's physicality tends to vanish during set pieces and Charlene could now count herself lucky if she doesn't end up kissing the grass while trying to get a touch on a corner or a free kick. Perhaps that's why Sporting Ceneisis allowed her to go to their provincial rivals Admiral Porcusces. Now that's one transfer the Blues regretted deeply.

RW: Sohaila MAGOMEDOVA 33 y/o, Exiles FK Image (Pridnestrovia)
Sohaila is one of Heinrich Wurzmann's latest finds from the Alternative Football Program. Her idols growing up were tricky players like Finn Jameson, Ruud Akinfenyor, and Matthew Cave, and Sohaila certainly has the feet to emulate them. She has indeed turned into one of the best right wingers Abanhfleft has to offer, but her decision to move to lower league Pridnestrovian side Exiles FK has cost her many a call-up with the national team. Until now, that is.

CF: Hiroko KELLERMAN 25 y/o, Rosenpfelblatz City Women Image
Kellerman won the Golden Boot in the Fleftic Premier Development League 1 with a 23-goal haul in the 2028-29 season, earning her a promotion up to the senior women's team where she continued her goalscoring form with 21 goals for 2029-30, making her the highest goalscorer of the Citizens that season. She earned a call-up to the under-21 team for the 48th Di Bradini Cup, where she was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disastrous campaign which once again convinced the SFA to boycott the Di Bradini Cup for real and permanently this time.

LW: Claudia ROOS 32 y/o, Arsenal de Releinthi Women Image
Claudia finally made the move from left back to left winger, a move that worked out well in the end for her, what with her pace, crossing ability, and incisive runs into the box. However, injuries have plagued her career and forced her out of contention for a call-up for much of what should have been the best years of her career, but now it looks like she's about to turn the whole thing around and become a late bloomer along the lines of a certain Tristan Lee.
