I recall from IRL footage of this stuff that the tanks run the track one after another, having the track reset or touched up in case of damage (like tanks slowly pushing through the trench, digging out a ramp)... Otherwise, it would get screwy as the drivers would need to work with their commanders to avoid striking the opposition.

No. Once a stage has finished there is a break for the crews, interviews ect.

Let’s just say Mirian tanks aren’t built for big hills (same most other tanks here, it seems)…

Firing accurately while moving over rough terrain (bumpy, not steep) is the specialty here for Mirum. That and turret speed.
