THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF ESTORVIPA AND ESTORPIVA
MEN'S NATIONAL UNDER-18 FOOTBALL TEAM The Federal Republic of Estorvipa and Estorpiva is a federal union between two states, the Federation of Estorvipa and the Republic of Estorpiva, created on 22 November 2019 after the two states agreed to unite together and present a combined front against the other rebel sides in the Estorian Civil War. The Federal Republic is backed by the Democratic People's Republic of the United Socialist States of Pridnestrovia (or just Pridnestrovia for short), which was an ally of the old Estorvipan People's Republic before it collapsed into numerous competing factions and states, and Pridnestrovia decided that the Federal Republic was the most stable nation-state that they could support in this war. But despite being backed by a "socialist" nation and adopting some socialist imagery, the Federal Republic is a democratic republic with free and fair elections for the 27 million people under its governance, and its ultimate aim is to reunite the Vipan and Pivan lands peacefully, but if the Federal Republic must use force to restore peace and order in the land then it will certainly do so.
BASIC INFORMATIONName of nation: Federal Republic of Estorvipa and Estorpiva
Demonym: Estorian
Team colors: Yellow. blue, and red
Style modifier: -1.50
Formation: 4-3-3
Head coach: Codruţ Bochinsky (48 y/o, Estorvipa and Estorpiva)
STARTERSGK: Gleb PAROV 18 y/o, FK Traktor St. Paulsburg
An excellent keeper for his age and has loads of pace which allows him to charge out of his box to intimidate opposing strikers, but has poor stamina which means that he might start sticking around his area as the game goes on.
RB: Arandjel ANDJELKIĆ 17 y/o, FK Traktor St. Paulsburg
An average defender by most if not all metrics, but makes up for it by his excellent pace, allowing him to close down his side of the pitch by chasing after anyone trying to go down his flank. Also gets easily tired so could be a liability later into games.
RCB: Luka URŠIĆ 18 y/o, FC Foc Feuerstadt
Here's a solid defender who's an aerial threat both in defense and attack. An absolute asset in the air who can defend from an opponent's corner kick and then head the ball once it's time for Estorvipa and Estorpiva to take a corner of their own. Will start the Under-18 World Cup in place of Fedot Bogomolov due to the latter getting a stomach bug upon arrival in Tumbra.
LCB: Bogdan CHIŢULESCU 18 y/o, FC Cavaleri Urodorasul
Solid defender with good technique and average passing skills, meaning that he can shut down opposing chances before they get too dangerous and both dance and pass his way out of danger. Better suited for building out of the back rather than punting it forward to the forwards.
LB: Ruslan ESAULOV 18 y/o, FK Spartak Rybolovlev
Another average defender but has solid pace and adequate technique and passing skills. Sometimes he might go forward to assist the wingers and forwards, leaving his flank exposed for the opposition to exploit, but he does have the pace to burn to make up for it sometimes.
RM: Maxym TARAN 17 y/o, FK Chornyy Volodymyrovka
His passing and defending are his best skills, meaning that his main job is to protect his side of the pitch and move the ball forward if it comes to him. Sometimes he will take a pot shot at goal if he has the chance and the space, but don't expect him to score many screamers or bangers or golazos or whatever.
CM: Alex Claudiu GAVRILĂ 18, FK Spartak Rybolovlev
There's a reason why he was placed in the center of the pitch for this team, and that is because he is good both defensively and going forward. He has both the sharp eyes to find the assist or key pass to the forwards and the strength to stop almost anybody from getting past him, but can't score a penalty or a tap-in to save his life.
LM: Ashot RAZINSKIJ 18 y/o, CSK Armiya Supskij
The jack-of-all-trades had been placed on the left side because of his wicked good left foot. With that left foot he could pick out any player he wanted, dribble his way out of trouble, or even nick the ball off of anyone trying to get through to the Estorian goal on the left side, and even score the occasional goal.
RW: Arkadiy BORISENKO 18 y/o, FK Spartak Rybolovlev
He can swing in the ball from almost anywhere on the pitch, but he prefers sticking to the right wing because he prefers his right foot to do the work for him. Despite having a wicked good right peg in him, he never seems to be able to get a goal for whatever reason. Not for lack of trying, but no matter what he does, the ball just wouldn't go into the back of the net when he hits it.
CF: Petru-Iustin UDEANU 18 y/o, FK Dinamo Durdenville
An average striker whose main job is to just be there to receive the ball and shoot at goal when it gets passed to him. He can dribble his way out of trouble if need be, but if he needs to spend more than a few seconds thinking about where to shoot then it's a guaranteed miss or save from the keeper once he finally pulls the trigger.
LW: Gheorgiţă VĂRZARU 17 y/o, FK Traktor St. Paulsburg
He can run across the pitch as quick as you like, can cross and Inshallah all day long and even score some goals. His only problem is that he can't do it across ninety minutes since his stamina is all but hopeless.
RESERVESGK: Zarko IORDANOV 17 y/o, FK Traktor St. Paulsburg
Another sweeper keeper with bags of pace to burn. The only reason why he's on the bench as opposed to starting is that compared to Gleb Parov, he is only a good keeper as opposed to Parov's excellence.
GK: Kiril PARISHEV 17 y/o, FK Mamai Ihorovtsi
Talk about a literal bench warmer. He's only here to fulfill three three goalkeeper minimum quota, and as far as young Estorian sweeper keepers go, he's downright average. He's literally a warm body in a seat, a passenger in this team.
DF: Puiu DASCĂLU 18 y/o, FC Foc Feuerstadt
He's similar in almost all aspects to Arandjel Andjelkic except for one thing, which makes him an almost no-brainer substitution in the back line if Andjelkic needs to go off. The one thing keeping him on the bench is his lack of pace, but it shouldn't matter if he's coming in to go up against wingers with tired legs.
DF: Fedot BOGOMOLOV 16 y/o, FK Spartak Rybolovlev
Nobody knows how or why he was able to make it into this team despite his not being a player of note, but rumors are that his father, the Minister of Sport for the Federal Republic, had something to do with his inclusion not just in the final 23 but also the starting eleven. But however he got into this team, he won't be able to start due to getting a stomach virus upon arriving in Tumbra.
DF: Vadym KONSHIN 17 y/o, FK Chornyy Volodymyrovka
An average all-rounder defender who can tackle the ball or head it away but doesn't really stand out in any other way apart from those. He can pass the ball and dribble his way out of trouble, but like everything else about him, they're all par for the course for a defender such as him.
DF: Ilia BAGNYUK 18 y/o, FK Velikiy Varadino
Another pseudo-wingback in the roster whose main assets are the ability to go forward and assist the wingers and forwards in attacking the opponents' goal and the speed to get back to the defensive line and protect his side of the pitch. But like many other bench players in this team, the only thing keeping him out of the starting eleven is his poor stamina.
MF: Marcian ROGOVEANU 17 y/o, FC Foc Feuerstadt
He can pass, and he can sometimes put the ball on target and score the very occasional goal sometimes, maybe once in a thousand attempts, but his defensive sense is so tragic that even a stone column could get past him if it wanted. He is quick-footed though, and may be an asset to a team looking to chase a goal. Maybe.
MF: Serafim ARSHINKOV 18 y/o, FK Chornyy Volodymyrovka
He can pass, he can assist, he can dribble, he can maybe take the occasional shot at goal. The only thing keeping him on the bench is the fact that for a central midfielder, his defending seems to be poor, poorer than the other available midfielders on this team. Still, once again he could be a good option for a team chasing after a goal or two.
MF: Vsevolod SKISH 18 y/o, CSK Armiya Supskij
His problems are the exact opposite of Serafim Arshinkov's. He can pass, he can assist, he can dribble his way out of trouble, but he just couldn't hit the woodwork even if he tried. Most if not all of his shots are liable to pose more a danger to spectators than the opposing team, so spectators beware if he comes on to the pitch.
FW: Miro NANCHEV 18 y/o, FK Spartak Rybolovlev
He's an average striker, end of story. He can sometimes hold up the ball and act as a support striker, but if he really has to be used from the bench, he's better off just being planted in the middle of the penalty area as the recipient of crosses and corner kicks.
FW: Vuk TRIŠOVIĆ 17 y/o, CSK Armiya Supskij
This lad has absolute loads of pace and can dribble his way out of a broom closet, but the one thing holding him back from inclusion into the starting eleven is the fact that he whiffs his shots and hits the woodwork more times than he actually finds the back of the net. But that's the only thing he really needs to improve, his accuracy. Once he hits the target more and more he can become a contender for a starting spot.
FW: Vasyl SANDUL 17 y/o, FK Mamai Ihorovtsi
For a striker, he's actually much better off defending against corner kicks than actually scoring from them. At least he knows where the target actually is, and he can actually run at the defense and goalkeeper to put them off. Unfortunately for him, there's no place where he could actually fit in so off to the bench he has to go for the meantime.
