Campionato Esportiva 31 host voting is starting and we have one host bid to choose from. Users signed up may choose between the following options:

1. ACCEPT the bid from South Newlandia
2. RE-OPEN host bidding
3. ABSTAIN from host voting

Bidding nations/users are not allowed to cast their vote.

You have four days to cast your votes to determine the host for this edition. Deadline of voting will be at 4:00 PM UTC+8 on the 7th of November. Votes should be sent via telegram to THIS NATION (Esportiva History). Any votes sent to other nations, and those sent beyond the deadline will not be counted.

With the results released, South Newlandia has been elected as the official host of the 31st edition of the Campionato! Timings and organization are handed over to the newly-elected hosts.

You can now "officially" sign up for the different events in the Sporting Festival. You can do this by simply editing your previous signup, or make a new post.

You do not have to signup for any other events than the (soccer, as always) Campionato Esportiva.
You can sign up for one, multiple, or all of the other events (gridiron, baseball, ice hockey, basketball, T20 cricket) in addition to the Campionato Esportiva.
You can also sign up for one, multiple, or all of the other events without signing up for the Campionato Esportiva itself.

Please try to be as clear as possible when you sign up, so that mix-ups are as unlikely as possible. My general assumption, especially for signups prior to my bid, is that the other events are OPT-IN, while the Campionato Esportiva is OPT-OUT.

Again, no additional posts will be needed. You can edit your previous posts, and I will see it.

I have been asked on the Esportiva Discord if this would be possible to do. I asked there if anyone is against this, and no one raised any concern, while multiple people supported the idea. For me, this is just a matter of branding, but I want to apologise for not making this clear on the forums in advance; I should have done that.

Signups are now officially closed. We'll have 35 teams for the Campionato Esportiva, 15 for the Espo T20 II, 16 for ice hockey, 12 for baseball, 8 for basketball, and 6 for gridiron!
