End of the first season

The first season ended, the young drivers showed a distinguished performance. Both Ghassan and Galal competed throughout the season, but Galal won the championship in the end. Ghassan faced technical problems as he did not complete two races and exited from them, Ghassan achieved a record, he achieved Pole position in all six Qualifying rounds of the season, And Alfa Motors Team won the Teams' Championship.

On the other hand, planning has begun to start the Touring Car Championship in Krbustan, where the participating teams will compete in the KOWC Racing Series and some new teams and amateur drivers. The championship will give more opportunities for competitors to participate.

The opening date of the new racing circuit in the Western Port city, Port Raceway, is also approaching, which is planned to be included in the new race schedule of the Krbustan Motorsports Federation Championships, There is a plan by the Federation to build a new racing circuit in West Mountain city.

After two less than desirable races from Aix Pro Racing and JP in particular, the Farrowdraft Comet Circuit was the perfect spot to win, it was an open race and a fight until the finish.

It was very cold in Lathamford, and cloudy, not something the riders of Aix are used to as it is always hot in Aix les Filles, but the result was a good one for JP, Abbas was fighting with Melki and Nurenberger for sixth place when he had to bow out due to engine failure in the twentieth round.
Mercier went on to win the race keeping Mehdi behind him, he now has 40 points, Abbas Hussein has 0 points, but that is all going to change in Taskania according to the Aix Pro Racing driver ‘I will win some points there, Mark my words!” The driver was quoted.

The corporate organization of Motorsport in Lisander is somewhat confuse and labyrinthic.

Lisander Autosports Board (aka, LAB or more coloquially, "the Lab", is the collegiate board of every motorsports owner in the Principality. It is the official WGPO-affiliated association in Lisander. To compete, drivers need to be licensed by the Board, and team owners must register with them. However, Lisander Autosport Board struggled for long with "professionalization". It's highly bureaucratic and most of the actions require a lot of paperwork and to comply with a lot of regulations.

But the ever-growing sport of motor racing became too big for the "competing for the sake of the sport" organization, and the lack of a proper support to the first WGPC seasons was one of the biggest issues. After some power struggle between the "gentlemen drivers" and "professional" sectors, Motorsport Lisander was established as a private company, responsible to find solutions that would work for both groups.

Motorsport Lisander was granted the control of motorsport events organization in Lisander, included but not limited to managing the Grand Prix de Lisander, WGPC/2/3 Licensing for teams, drivers, sponsorships and broadcasting rights, and also to prospect companies to run or support other categories of motorsport, like GT cars. Currently, Motorsport Lisander is working to pacify tempers and trying to bring back drivers who had to leave the country when Lisander cancelled its free movement of people agreements with countries like Lorenthia, Varmennia and Vassiya.

Among the shareholders of Motorsport Lisander, we may notice HRMN Ventures, an investment fund partly backed by Harmin Bank. Harmin Bank was founded in 1869, by non-reigning members of the Lisanderian Princely House of Harmin.

Under the laws of Lisander, (Supernumerary Law 16 of 1817) the "princely lineage" (named Harmin of Lisander and Azhaar) isn't allowed to ask for payment for its work, since all of its expenses are covered by the state through the Sovereign Fund. However, money earned throu can be transferred to other persons, natural or legal, such as non-reigning relatives, companies, or charitable associations. A portion of these proceeds, together with other savings of the non-king Harmin family made up the initial capital of the Harmin Bank, back in 19th century.

Slowly being detached of its princely origins, in order to make monarchy more acessible, HRMN Ventures also owns 49.6% of Bitten Heroes Grand Prix Engineering. Bitten Heroes, an initiative that is being reworked with care and financial responsibility for two years now. Through various sporting, management and financial moves, Bitten Heroes has become sportingly and financially functional in the long run. The final test comes next. The team, which will likely receive an invitation from Lab to represent Lisander in the upcoming WGPC season, will return to the elite of the big constructors, to again share space with great teams such as three-time champion Tropicorp Racing Ælund (TRÆ), Nexus Racing, Polaris Racing Team, Badai Angin Tim Motorsport, Mattijana Racing Team (MRT) and Fireline Motorsport. The support of HRMN makes it possible for Lisander's ruling family, which is among the biggest patrons of the sport in the country, to have some stake in both the Organization and the country's top racing teams. This gives confidence to the fans, knowing that even in case of bad results, a perennial financial support is guaranteed, but not only. Since Lisander's sovereign family is extremely popular, this is even reflected in more support for the team from the fans. The Wishes Foundation, set up by Their Highnesses to sponsor sports and educational activities for boys and girls living in more than a hundred orphanages in the country, will continue to be the brand in a prominent position in the team's liveries.

We would be rude, however, if we forgot the other shareholders in Motorsport Lisander. Not all of them have blue blood running through their veins, but they all bring contributions, not only financially, but also in quality on the track. Marc Wiel, owner of MW Academy, WGP2 team, opening the doors of the international scene for young drivers. Kimi Nasunen, owner of Saber Ironworks, one of the largest metal companies in the country, producing parts and technology for the cars, as well as fielding a team in Formula Hinode. Aside from Camden and Harlean's brilliant work in developing and preparing cars for all types of competition, from single-seaters to rallying (Leora Hargis was recently fourth overall in the WSRC inside a Camden car). Not exactly shareholders, but also providing licensed media support, Turbo Magazine, as well as RTL and 6Sports, TV channels promoting motorsports in the nation, are much worthy of our praise.

And all of these companies has also made it possible for Team Azhaar Pro Racing to rise quickly, having contact with the right people in the organization and funding positions. The team, currently second in the IOWCC constructors' championship, thanks to the great results of the young promise Lukas Horsch, can be proud to be one end of a system, that even confuse and labyrinthic, includes four international teams and several ongoing or upcoming championships and moves thousands of fans and millions of Lis every year.

Preparations have begun for the start of the International Open Wheel Car Championship second season, In a press conference the schedule of races has been announced and the names of the teams and drivers participating in the season have been announced. 20 teams have asked to join the second season, 15 teams of them have been accepted.

The Nebular team from Ardelark withdrew at the last moment without giving clear reasons, so The team management will be investigated by the International Motorsports Federation.

The new points scoring systems for this season has also been announced, Drivers from 1st place to 10th place will receive points respectively, 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.

International Motorsports Federation will being search to increase the number of races next season to more than 10 races.

Pegasus Racing Team (PRT; Arabic: فريق بيجاسوس للسباقات) The team was established after the Board of Directors of the Krbustan Automotive Company discussed the proposal of CEO, Kamal Lotfi, to build the first racing car, and competition began in the International Grand Prix Championship.
No one expected the Pegasus drivers to achieve such impressive results, The drivers are without experience in the world of racing. the drivers performed exceptionally well, Wasim Mehdi came 6th (23 pts) and Khaled Hesham 11th (3 pts), Pegasus came 5th (26 pts) in their first Season, The drivers have no racing experience and are strangers to the racing world, But they are experienced drivers. 26-year-old Wasim has been a driver since he was 16, helping his father drive his taxi. Khaled, 30, has been driving since the age of 17, driving cargo vans of different sizes in western port, he then moved to work in the car factory, this was about five years ago.

In their first season in open-wheel racing, they ran as a private enterprise running customer cars with modified manufacturer engines from 1978 towards 1982, but it wasn't until 1984, that the team would begin building their own in-house chassis and finally see success towards the late 1980s and onwards.
The team is set up near Hardendale, Frandiestan, headquartered at the Tailfire Technology Complex at Lake Dracian. Their facilities include a factory for manufacturing the chassis, an extensive R&D center as well as their in-house engine development center, a private test track, managing and sponsorship offices as well as a newly built wind tunnel. With extensive experience in junior formulae, top of the line facilites, and experienced staff, two veteran world class drivers and with Gregor and Domanić at the helm, the team took on the challenge and applied for the second season of IOWCC.

Unlike the relatively easy win at the Maddeloffu Street Circuit in Vonum, was the Pearl Island race a nail biting race until the checkered flag, looking back we can say the final pitstop when the two race leaders came in together proved to have been the turning point, Jean Pierre came in the pitlane just behind Arturia Nero, and just got his nose in front coming out of the pitlane, the final laps he didn't give away the win, the Azhaar bolide did try hard, Jean Pierre made sure he didn't pass.

The Aix Pro Racing team is chuffed to have 13 more championship points already.

Three races in! Progress of Shigematsu Grand Prix!

After extensive testing during the off season, their competitor for Season 2, the SGP-222, showed great promise, fast and reliable, especially potent on longer straights due to the power of the Istrabenz engine.

Coming to the first round in New Narsia, Shigematsu experienced a wonderful start to the season. Despite a rather dull and unsurprising qualifying, their lead driver, Oliver Kumar, drove a fantastic and calm race to finish in second place, achieving Shigematsu Grand Prix's first points and podium, while their second driver, Zoran Miklošić, in his one and only season in IOWC, finished 20th and a lap behind.

Heading into the second round, the success did not follow them from New Narsia. Under pressure from one of their sponsors, AquaVonum, a good result was expected from both the sponsors and the team. However, a decent qualifying (Kumar 11th and Miklošić 23rd), Oliver Kumar could only manage to finish in 16th, an entire lap down from race winner Jean-Pierre Mercier, who he managed to beat in the first round, while Miklošić retired due to a fuel pump issue.

Their misfortunes continued into round three in Coral Bay. Thinking that the first race was only a fluke, confidence waned during the practice sessions, as the team gave their reserve driver, Vonum native Connor Millis, a run around the track. Another decent qualifying run by Kumar saw him start 9th in Coral Bay while Miklošić qualified 23rd. However, after nearly stalling on the start, Kumar tried fighting back before handling problems forced him to drop back and eventually finish 15th, a lap down while Miklošić retired again, this time due to an engine misfire, which saw him spin on lap 28 before retiring on lap 30.

Three races in and the team managed to slip from 2nd in the constructors down to 8th, with Kumar's 2nd place finish at the season opener being their only points finish. Struck down by a poor run of results, the planned upgrades for the car were to be delayed until the mid-season while the team immediately began focusing on developing next years car. Rumors abounded as to the relationship between Shigematsu and Istrabenz, some even wondering if Istrabenz might pull out of competeing in IOWC due to the poor results from Shigematsu Grand Prix. The rumors were put to rest after the Istrabenz Technology Expo, where they introduced a concept for a new engine, soon to enter development for next season. It was also the place, where Miklošić announced his retirement from motorsport to focus as a driver advisor within the team. As of now, the team is working hard on improving the performance of the car as well as working closely with Istrabenz to improve the performance and reliability of the engine.

Arturia Nero. Only 20 years old and with a career on a rise that can only be defined as meteoric. The light-haired youngster was spotted at an e-Sports championship. At the time, Kimi Nasunen, owner of Saber Ironworks, promised a CAD designer internship to the youngster who won a Sim Racing championship. Nero was the winner, and at the age of 18, the girl was getting both her driving license and her license to race single-seaters professionally. Since then, her legion of fans has only grown, as has the number of trophies in her cabinet. We interviewed the bright new star of the Realm track while she was doing a photo shoot for AIR magazine in Lisander City. Wearing a different outfit than she's used to in the racing, she embraces finesse in an exclusive photoshoot.

AIR: So, Miss Nero...
Call me by my name, Arturia. Please. In Hinode, we are usually called by our last name, and it makes me a little uncomfortable. I like my name, I consider it extremely important, and I would like to be called by it.

AIR: OK, Arturia. We can say that you are a wayward one, and we don't mean that in a negative or offensive sense.

Well, whatever. - Arturia shrugged and smiled.

AIR: So, what can you tell us about being here, shooting for AIR?

Not sure, to be fair. I never imagined I'd be chosen to star in a fashion editorial. But I liked this dress, it's nice to wear things other than racing apparel. AIR is a nice magazine, I like especially the music section. There's so much nice stuff, from classic to funky electronic music.

AIR: What can you say about your first season in Hinodejin Motorsport?

It was a lot of fun, no doubt. I like how people is receptive and love different kinds of people. I felt home there, especially with so many people speaking the languages I speak. I was able to even evolve as a polyglot. On the track it was even better than I planned. The investment of Mr. Nasunen was massive and the structure we inherited was very good. Finish the first season as fourth was definitely much more than I ever expected. With the support of Team-Moon I believe I'm able to wherever and get good results.

AIR: So, you're setting your eyes to Astyrian F1 and WGPC?

Why not? In the future though. Now, my focus is my model career. When you'll contact me for more photoshoots? I feel like a baroness on this clothes. This opened my eyes for another way of living. No. Just kidding... Currently I'm working my offseason with Team Azhaar, and this is my focus currently.

AIR: Now you're reaching the point we were expecting. How does you feel downgrading the spec?

It's kind of unbelievable, but I'm so comfortable with it. This spec, similar to WGPC 15, was the exact one I'm more used to it. When I got that invitation to try eRacing to get a internship in Saber Ironworks, the tryout included to config the entire car, and it was a model very similar to this one. We get a car with messed configuration and had to make all the adjusts. Getting the real version of the car was somehow nostalgic and was a lot of fun.

AIR: Well, this can be noticed by your results. Since the beginning of the season, you already amassed two wins and three podium finishes. Even more impressive, you have not started from any place other than the position of honor. That's four poles in four races, congratulations. What's more, you are more than half a second better than all the rest in the qualifiers. Do you feel confident to say you are the best on the grid?

If I was undoubtely the best, this would be clear in the table. I'm still the second, three points behind Mr Mercier. You may say I'm the most technical driver, maybe the most aggressive. Yet, I lack in experience. I was in Sim Racing two years ago. I don't have a solid Kart background, and I have yet to participate a WGP3 season. My path is just beginning. And I feel that now I also have another path to follow. Don't you think I look great in the role of a quaintrelle?

International Motorsports Federation announces the withdrawal of the Shigematsu Grand Prix team after a dispute with the organizing committee of the championship, and the IMF has decided to suspend the team’s license, remove all the team’s points, fine the team and prevent it from participating in the next season.
