This is the friendlies thread for the fifty-first NationStates World Cup, to be held in Paripana and Septentrionia.

This thread is for organizing friendly matches between teams participating in World Cup 51 (and, in some cases, between those teams and other miscellaneous entities). There will be three days set aside for friendly matches—one pre-qualifying, one mid-qualifying, and one post-qualifying. Each team may request that the hosts scorinate up to three friendlies on each of these days. The hosts will only scorinate friendlies requested in this thread, explicitly asking for host scorination.

When requesting that the hosts scorinate a friendly, you are advised to include (a) the participating teams, (b) the venue to be used (home/away/neutral), and (c) who will scorinate the friendly (the hosts, or a third party).

This thread may be used to arrange, and post scores of, friendlies not scorinated by the hosts. There is no limit on how many such friendlies a team may play.

I'd like to start by requesting the traditional Bird on Sk.... (oh, wait).

Well we still have one traditional battle.... the Penthoria River War with Secristan. Post-qualifying, our place?

We'd like to welcome Cassadaigua pre-qualifying if ok, and matches with Sarzonia, Jeruselem, Cafundeu, and Bears Armed at any point if it fits your schedules.

We're generally open to other requests; any newer nations that may want a friendly with us must travel to Newmanistan. Established nations can be either home or away.

Sarzonia welcomes a mid-qualifying friendly with Newmanistan, which we request be scorinated by the hosts.

Unless Isselmere-Nieland signs up, it looks like the Friendly War between those nations will not resume. With Dancougar withdrawing, the battle for Cashman's Urn will also not be resuming.

The Weegie Football Association would like to make it clear that it is interested in arranging friendlies.

Toiletdonia would like to arrange the friendlies that were discussed on the senior cup thread.

A four team league between Toiletdonia, Silver Beach, Eastfield Lodge and Warkus. All they need to do is confirm.

Since our normal friendly-teams Taeshan and Qaz aren't doing friendlies or playing ... err, we'll take your friendly. Your place. You can choose if PRE, MID or POST as our schedule isn't cluttered.

Haha Now that the TSF realizes how much it sucks the Friendly plate is open again. What do we call it now?

Newmanistan: Fancy coming back to Redwood for a friendly?

Weegies: Come to West Zirconia - why not?

Candelaria And Marquez: I've lost track of whether our customary mid-qualifier is at Arrigo or Moorcroft this time. Whichever, consider yourself invited.

Cassadaigua: The boys are interested. Very interested. Well, except you-know-who...

Somewhereistonia: With oodles of RP potential, it has to be done. Either home or away, on condition that the away team's Foreign Secretary travels with the squad.

Needless to say, this is all subject to West Zirconia not being drawn in the same group as any of the above. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Schiavonia would like to invite other micro nations with populations of under 1000 to participate in some sort of friendly competition. I know that there's at least one out there...

We'd also like to ask Sargossa for a (preferably) pre-qualifying friendly game at a location of their choice. See if they can get us back for WC50 qualifying.

There may be no Bird on Skates...but maybe we could come up with something sky-blue themed? Like "Cyan Cup", only more catchy.

Delaclava accepts the post-qual friendly with Burchadinger but declines the pre-qual friendly.

Delaclava also offers a post-WC friendly with Sarzonia, although may withdraw this one if (somehow) the MSMT final is Sarzonia-Delaclava.

Sarzonia accepts the post-World Cup friendly, and requests someone to scorinate it. However, if someone cannot be found, he would accept scorination from Delaclava.

Tarrentum National Football Committee requests friendlies with Newmanistan, if available, Tolietdonia, if willing, and Undeadzombiee.

We are also willing to accept any requests for friendlies.

We'll be happy to travel to Redwood, West Zirconia; play Jersulem and Sarzonia, and begin a Sky Blue challenge Cup (name to be determined) with Krytenia. We have been impressed with the baseball team of Tarrentum and accept their friendly meeting as well.

Working all this out, let me know if anyone has a problem with where I am slotting them in. It can easily be changed.

We only do the all-female thing in baseball (and we did it before it became cool). Our World Cup roster is predominantly male. Cassadaigua is the one that does all-females in everything.

We have six open slots for friendlies, two in each time period. Traditional matches with Delaclava and Cassadaigua, should those nations elect to continue the series, will be scheduled in addition to the six open slots. Under ordinary circumstances the Bumblebees play friendlies away, to prepare for the challenges of the qualifying season.

We expect to ask for host scorination as matches are confirmed.
