Provisionally full.

1. Quintessence of Dust needs to confirm a signup that was tentative.
2. If two or more nations not on the list express interest, I will expand this event to a possible 20 maximum exactly as I did with curling.

There is one opening here, since Quintessence of Dust pulled back to concentrate on other events. The draw should be in a couple of days; RPs and rosters are fine starting now.

Babbles, it seems like you might have missed what I'm pretty sure is a Cassadagan signup.

Not missed -- but thanks for the heads-up. I also have a TG from Cassadaigua saying that she will enter to make up the number if I need it. I'm not 100% sure which marks a change of heart.

I'm going to go ahead and list the Dagans with a ? pending her confirmation.

Last time, they were a bunch of college kids from the University of Southport who decided to compete in the McLeod Cup for the tuition money. Now, they return, graduated, and eager to defend their title. There was no beer pong to determine the starting lineup this time. This time, they are going with what worked.

Tarrentum 18 7 0 0 - 25
Toiletdonia 0 10 12 12 - 34

Toiletdonia today played Tarrentum and won in the second Mcleod cup. The first period was a bad one for the Toi. The went 18 - nil down. The next period was the break through for Toi they went 10-7 up as Samson scored 2 touchdowns really quickly. The third period was the fine line. Toiletdonia managed a touchdown from Livingston and two safeties from Samson and that knocked the score up for Toiletdonia. The final period was a great one from the Toi. Steward then came on a got two touchdowns and a safety in the final to win the game. He is now looking like he could be made the head quarter back but it will take a long time to dislodge Emma from that position. This great result will put the Toilets in a very good position and they say "We'll try to win the cup and if we don't all the players will be locked in jail and then released when then win a flippin piece of silver wear. But hopefully we won't have to.".

The hosts from The Babbage Islands have sent a college team, the Gadgeteers from Babbage Academy of Engineering, to compete in the second Mcleod Cup. Babbage Football International organisers felt it would be unfair to send a team of full-time professionals from the NABC at this stage, given that Babbage code is an amateur undertaking most everyplace else in the world.

DANG IT!!!! Posted so close, but so far away...

Due to the Civil War in Undeadzombiee, no one on the original roster was able to either play or deliver the roster. Finally, a refuge from Puppett Nation delivered the message.

SN Rebecca Davis F
QB John Namath M/Melissa Green F
SB Krug “Thug” Lynn M
SL John Namath/Melissa Green
F McClane Johnson M
D Rosyln Crouse F

R Selena Ramaker F
M Lorrie Staker F
C Lance Parkhe M
LS Karina Lamaer F
RS Kelly Meares M
N Mathew Oakman M

And now the match report, as mailed back to Puppett Nation:

In a low scoring match between two teams without rosters, Undeadzombiee was short by one.

The scoring started in the first quarter, when a female player from Krytenia scored, and then the point was converted, making it 10-0.

Then, for the next possession both of them didn’t really threaten, though both made it past midfield. But on the last possession of the quarter, Selena Ramaker stuffed the quarterback, for two points, making it 10-2.

In the next quarter, a seven point touchdown was scored for both teams, Davis to Namath, for us. But going into the third we were still behind, 17-9.

Then, another touchdown pass, this one Namath to Johnson put us losing 17-16. Unfortunately, we could hold onto that momentum, with nothing in the fourth, but two stuffs. 19-18 Krytenia.

WYE (BPA) -- As the second Mcleod Cup passed the halfway point of pool play, two veterans of the inaugural event shared top billing with the hosts. Delaclava, Newmanistan, and The Babbage Islands were all tied with four wins and one loss.

Delaclava improved to 4-1 by handing the Bumblebees their first defeat of the campaign 29-20. The Delaclavs never trailed, scoring a touchdown in every quarter. They also denied the Babbage sextet on all three conversion attempts. The match saw only two stuffs in 24 possessions, one by each squad.
