The NS Sports Graphics Thread

I have been considering this for some time, since I closed the Guilde des Graphistes. My mistake was waiting for people to roleplay about getting the uniforms. But they are usually very busy thinking about other roleplays, and all the other aspects inherent to human life.

So this is a new topic. My idea is that the NS Sports community gathers around this topic to develop graphic assets (and why not other kinds of assets) for the enhancement of Sports Roleplaying on this subforum. I start by offering "services" on my own, but I am hoping that more people will volunteer to do it when possible. It's not like I want to disregard the people who develop storefronts, but after developing three storefronts in eight years of NS Sports, I grew tired of that, and I believe we could take an approach less personalistic and most communal on this.

Guidelines

1. This is voluntary work. Those who can help and do things, feel free to do so.
2. Commitment to help. If you start a project, go to the end, after all someone is trusting you to do it.
3. No bumps on the same page. Be patient, it is not always so easy, especially if you are specific. Most of us are not design professionals.
4. Be clear when ordering. The more information you can provide, the better. If someone accepts your request, it may be a good idea to get in touch via TGs.
5. Don't be an idiot. Over-requesting and requesting multiple users to do the same work isn't nice. If you want something specifically done by someone, you can go through telegrams.

What goes here?

Any graphic asset related to NS Sports included but not limited to:
Team and Competition Logos
Uniforms and other Sports Apparel
Photo modifications
Infographics
TV graphics
GIFs
Any other visual assets that can be used to illustrate roleplay in NS Sports as long as they are not items that can already be ordered elsewhere.

Kit Builders? What are these?

Kitbuilders are tools, usually (but not always) provided by manufacturers, to preview uniforms. They can give you an image of a football/basketball/whatever kit or jersey. It can be useful if you don't want to wait for someone to take your request or wants to do it all by yourself. Here you have links to some:

TL;DR: Read the rules, ask for stuff, learn to wait. No bumps on the same page.

I'm currently taking requests under my nation of Azhaar.
But you can always TG me for something more specific.

About Brands and Templates
I'm not really against the use of real-life brands, but seems most nations aren't interested in them. As you may have noticed around, I put together some logos for companies that manufacture sports apparel, and I actively use it for sports that aren't completely obssessed with not showing corporate branding, like Baseball and Ice Hockey. They're "established companies" in my canon and can be used to RPs and to provide for your teams and leagues. They're available, but I'm not sticking to a single one, to avoid oversimplification. More on that later.

I've explained in more detail in another post my method of designing uniforms. Being an user of vector software, I'm aware that my requests may not please those who search for something pending to more "3D-ish" style, like those photorealistic mockups, kit builders or such. It's not like I don't know how to do them, but they take more time than I'm interested to spare to do a job really detailed. So, I opted for having a simpler style and be able to develop more with less work.

These are two of the templates I use currently, for football and basketball, linked for convenience.

They are not the only templates I use, and if you request me something specific, I'll work on it in a specific way. Regarding these ones you may notice they lack features, like branding, collars or specific fabric cutting and sewing patterns. As long as I'm aware having pre-made looks, a thing our good friends at Krbustan Sports do, would make me more in even less time, I'm currently not into these, because it would generate only a limited number of combinations and ultimately become something generic and repetitive, like these cases that happened in real life.. Of course, if you would like your team to wear a jersey with the same design I used for Imperial Rifta football jersey or Neomaris field hockey top or any other graphic I'd made before and have not deleted yet, that's okay too, it's up to you, but I like to keep the options open.

Hi, since my lazy ass doesn't want to make a uniform, can you make a uniform for my national baseball team. Our colors are Red, White, and Green. (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary)

1. The away jersey should be the home jersey, but the Primary, and Secondary colors are switched.
2. If possible, an alt jersey with the primary and secondary colors swapped

Also, I'd like a logo with a black bear on it.

Just for confirming:
I do understand the primary uniform being white, and the secondary being red. But based on your saying, is the alt jersey red just like the secondary? (You wrote "primary and secondary colors swapped", so I'm kind of confused.)

Hi!

I would like to request a logo an kits for my national football (soccer) federation.

LOGO: It has to be like my national eagle, that eagle has to be surrounded by the national laurel wreath, and at the end of the eagle's tail there has to be a soccer ball.
The federation is called Official Malandrin Soccer Federation.

Hello there. The Squidroidian Football Association would like to request a logo for themselves. This may also be used as the badge for the Squidroidian national football team from World Cup 89 onwards. I do not have a problem with whoever decides to do this, as I am fine with whoever has the chops to do this logo which may be a key part of the 90s (Don't quote me on this, of course.)

A couple of guidelines:

The logo must feature an Inkling in squid form (Like in Splatoon, the Nintendo video game this entire nation is based off of) with the Squidroidian blue color (#006aa9).
Towards the bottom of the squid form Inkling, the lettering "SFA" must be used in whatever font you may want, just make sure it looks like a font a national football association may use.
Since the year 2017 (In Squidroidian time of course) was the founding date of the Squidroidian FA, the Roman numerals for 2017 (MMXVII) may also be used in a way.
The national motto "Unity and Diversity" may also be used in place of the Roman numerals for 2017.

I can kindly wait for the logo to be designed. No rushing, I will be patient.

Hello! I'd like to request a logo and uniform for my national american football team.
Guidlines: Logo should feature a lion, coloured red and blue (like this but facing towards viewer if possible https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/80 ... 00x400.jpg ) Also, a red star australian star, like the big one on my flag, and finally, the acronym VNAFA, for vizian nation american football association.

Uniform: Home: Blue, with red star on chest
Away: Red, with blue star on chest

World Bowl signups open in about a week or so, and the World Bowl will probably start in a few weeks, so I need these soon.

Namaste to whom it may concern,

I am Ramakrishna Trivedi, the Marketing Director of Pratapgadh Cricket Federation, and I am here to request a new logo for the federation and new kits for the Pratapgadh National Cricket Team. For some background, the Pratapgadh Cricket Federation was founded in 2019 and six years later it is one of the most influential organisations in the nation of Pratapgadh. We have been using the same kits for quite some time now and we believe it's time to freshen things up as Pratapgadh has become a big part of the international cricket community, being a full member of the GCF. Below are the requirements for the federation logo and the three kits we would like to be designed.

OOC:
For the logo, we'd like to have a golden-yellow (#FFC20F) shield with a red (#DD0000) outline. We'd like a horse like this in the middle of the shield. The dark blue part in the image provided must be in #DD0000 for the PCF logo and the white part should be #FFC20F. At the bottom of the shield, I'd like a curving text that says "Victorious Everywhere" and at the top of the horse we'd like a text that says "Pratapgadh Cricket Federation". Both texts must be in #DD0000. You are still allowed to be a bit creative with this and can use any font (serious ones would be better) for the texts.

I'd also like three kits for my national cricket team. One kit for the Test format, one kit for the ODI format and one kit for the T20 format. The test format must of course be white with red (#DD0000) outlines. The ODI ones must have #DD0000 as the main colour and #FFC20F as the secondary colour, even for the outlines and collar. For the T20 kit, however, I'd like to be a bit more creative. I want #800000 as the main color with the shoulders being black. I'd like to have a rising sun in orange (#FF4000) or red (#FF0000), bottom-right of the shirt when looking from the front. This means the from the back, the sun should be bottom-left on the shirt. You can choose how much you want to extend the sun rays depending on what looks best. Something similar to this would help.

I want to have the new federation logo on all kits and also have our main sponsors on the front. The main sponsors being Vajra Automobiles, here's the logo. You can just have 'PLAYER' written in the back with any random number, doesn't really matter.

That's all, I'm kinda shit at explaining stuff. So to the kind person who decides to take up this task, if you have any further queries, just send me a telegram. I would have loved to do this myself, but I still lack the photoshop skills and the kit builders I have been using online don't work for me.

IMPORTANT NOTE:- To whom it may concern, if you are unable to make the kits, it's alright. The logo is the top priority, so you can avoid the kits if you want to.

Hello. My nation Maramaa is new to the community and it is currently developing its first professional soccer league and national team as well.

I don´t want to abuse your good faith so I would be very happy if, whenever it is possible, you could provide my side with one logo and a kit for the uniforms of the national team.

Let´s elaborate then

As far as the logo is concerned, any sports looking design goes but I would be glad if it can contain on it the script MAFF (It stands for Maramaa´s Association Football Federation -this long phrase can be on it as well if it is not very cumbersome), and a small flag of the nation

The uniform kits should be like this:

1. Main Kit: SHIRT, #000080 with the logo on the heart´s side of it
                   SHORTS: #00BFFF
                   SOCKS: white with a narrow doble strip #BF4000 on their upper part

2. Second Kit:  SHIRT, white with the logo on the heart´s side of it
                      SHORTS: #000080
                   SOCKS: same as main kit

3. Third Kit:  SHIRT, #008040 also with the logo as in the other two
                   SHORTS: white
                   SOCKS: #000080with a narrow doble strip #BF4000 on their upper part

I also want to take this opportunity to thank in advance your valuable voluntary work. My abilities with design programms (to be frank, with any software you mention) are close to non-existant

It's kind of sad that Vizia lost the signup deadline for World Bowl, but if everything gets nice, they could introduce this design to the world in the Arena Bowl.

For the logo, I decided to stock to the request as close as possible, but with a typography more aggressive, to balance the pointy star with the curvy lion. As usual, vector is available in NS Sports Wiki.

For the uniforms, I decided to go in the fauxback way, since Vizia asked for a jersey with a star in the front. The template is the same one I used for the last Arena Bowl. I like it because isn't cluttered and provide enough information without relying on RL brands.

Okay. So no alt this time, we`re going with Home and Road as American Football purists like. And what a mascot. A Bear! I love real, old-school animals and beasts as mascots like Bears, Lions, Dragons, Tigers, Bulls.

Differently of the baseball one, I decided to enforce the concept of Bear. Sadly, There`s little space to green on the logo. A green bear isn`t as cool as a black bear, and I sticked with this from the baseball uniforms. As usual, vector is available in NS Sports Wiki. This one got so nice that I feel like recolouring it to use again somewhere.

For the uniforms, I felt I needed the green that I missed in the logo. So I put it on the facemask, socks and stripes. Being a "traditional" mascot, I opted for a traditional font and a traditional arched-style for the team nameplates.

I was able to find a light shade of blue representing SS Vitelogna in your Newswire, so I decided to go with that. Considering the Italian style name, I followed the common Italian abbreviation for SS, "Società Sportiva". As usual, I posted the vector version in the NS Sports Wiki.
