With the new competition which sanctioned by IBA (International Broadcasting Alliance), PFA (Pemecutan Football Association) as the highest governing body of football in Pemecutan is ready to participate in the said competition. In the IBA Football Champions League, PFA is officially selected 4 clubs as Pemecutan representatives. All of these clubs are reserved team of the already established clubs in the country. The move is made to give opportunities for reserved teams to compete in international level just like the main team of the clubs. Meanwhile, giving less burden for main team of the clubs to enter another international competition.

The 4 selected clubs are in line with equality of the country. That way, all 3 regional associations of PFA will have the same opportunity in this competition. Because GRFA (Giri Regional Football Association) is the largest in term of members, then the official give them 2 slots. While both KRAF (Kanginan Regional Association of Football) and SIRFA (Soracana Islands Regional Football Association) are given 1 slot each.

PSTK Tegeh Kori, officially Pesamuan Sepakbola Tegeh Kori is a football club reside in Tegeh Kori District of Pemecutan capital, Pemecutan Puri. Established in 2010, the club is the child of Pescam Campuhan, one of the biggest club in the country. The creation of the club is to give a place for excess players of Pescam Campuhan, notably their young players which is under the responsibility of Yowana Campuhan Youth Club. These players who are already passed their youth age e.g 18 year old and not getting any contract from any clubs will be automatically assigned to PSTK Tegeh Kori. Pasubayan Supakbal Halangtasi or PS Halangtasi is a reserved club of Nilayam United which located in Halangtasi Village, Nilayam. The club was established in 1989 as a regular club. They even have had joined Soracana Islands domestic league although they are a moderate club. In 2012, the club was near bankruptcy. Nilayam United then bought the club. It was continue to playing in the domestic league until 2017 when the league was being slimmed. The annexation of Soracana Islands by Pemecutan in 2020 also affected the club existence. It is initiated by Wayan Adi Partha for the villagers youth so they have a positive things to do in their spare time. The club have manage to established themselves as a well known local club in Kanginan itself. The club is being eyeing by Parsewi Mengwi. The initial buy out was completed in 2018. When Parsewi Mengwi management wants Parseringkit Bringkit to join Kanginan domestic league, Parseringkit management declined. This issue made the situation quite stiff between the two managements. IBA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEKONI PLAY-OFF REPORT
Weeks 1-3

Following the conclusion of the season, the IBA sought the NFL's permission in allowing them to host the ranking round-robin games for themselves, and in a gesture of friendship and committment to the union, the NFL have agreed to hosting a one-off six-matchday small tournament for the purpose of ranking advantage.

Each team shall play each other twice, both home and away, with the standard 3/1/0 scoring system applying. Ties at the end of the tournament shall be broken through goal difference.

The start of the tournament, and all four teams were headed off to Marina Point for two home games. At first, Black Star Mariners, the plucky underdogs, had the unenviable task of entertaining the league champions, Varea, and there was blood in the water from the get-go, with several chances for the visitors to go one-up somehow not quite sticking against the resilient Mariners. Eventually, through, the dam wall was going to be broken, and three minutes before the half-end, Forde's header from a corner set-piece made it 1-0 at the end of 45. The Mariners fought back bravely, with van Bielen scoring an equaliser from a scrappy play in the box, but they could only dig in so far, and the defence gave out by the end, allowing both Caspienne and Florién to score the decisive victory. A good fight from the Mariners, but in the end, nobody could argue that the greater team won.

First-night nerves hit both sides at the other end of the city, too, with Galleon entertaining Malbruc on the seafront. After much talk about how this match between second and third might be a sleeper hit, sadly it would be more defined by what the teams failed to do instead of what they actually succeeded in doing. It started well for Galleon, with a well-struck 15-yard shot from Blumqvist's right sailing into the top corner for the early lead, but their attempts to capitalise on it and properly lead the game didn't materialise, and just at the start of the second half, Malbruc's tactical switch to allow Malmédy to dart through the defensive line gave them the equaliser, exposing Galleon's defensive Achilles heel that had been noticeable all season. Worse was to come for both sides, as an over-exuberant tackle from Mazzecani brought down Malmédy for a straight-red and an easy penalty. However, the Malbruc forward's leg didn't come out of the tackle clean, and a few minutes later, he had to be brought off. Without the main attack line, Malbruc struggled to maintain the lead, and unfortunately for them, some poor defense leading from a corner-kick led to what appeared to be the goalkeeper, Napa, accidentally punching the ball into his own net. 2-2, the final score, in what would be a frustrating day for both sides.

We go next to the capital, Varea, where the champions attempted to solidify their position at the top of the table, which, with Malmédy on the bench still nursing a leg injury, would be fairly simple. With Malbruc sporting a noticeable hit to their attacking force, they were easily beaten by Varea, with Forde taking two on each side of the interval, and the rest of the game used for Varea resting their star players and allowing some new blood on, clearly in preparation for the harder games to come.

The big game of the week was clearly going to be the Marina Point derby. The Black Star Mariners were looking to get some points on the board, and to instil some pride, and, despite the scoreboard staying static for most of the match, it was anything but a dull game, with both teams equally firing on all cylinders, with nothing to seperate them save for one single extra shot on target for the away side. However, one of them had to eventually break the deadlock, and twelve minutes from time, an errant foul from 20 yards out caused a free-kick opportunity from Galleon's Aremberg, converted into one of the best curving shots into the top corner the league's ever seen. The two teams of Marina Point almost equally matched, with Galleon only winning by a worldie of a shot, one has to feel for the minnows here.

The final set of matches in the first leg appear to be very much kingmakers, with the top and bottom two all facing each other, the results potentially having a great bearing on how the rest of the tournament would play out...unfortunately, nobody seemed to get the message sent to Malbruc, whose star striker was now back from injury, but somehow couldn't get past a Black Star Mariners side that seemed to be smarting hard from having 0 points after two valiant efforts. This would be their first points scored, but sadly, it was also their weakest match of the three. No real attempt from either side to score throughout the full 90 minutes meant that they would be remaining as they were in 3rd and 4th respectively.

At the other side of the table, however, both Galleon and Varea made sure that today wouldn't be a write-off, with a five-goal feast dazzling the fans of the red side of Marina Point. Galleon struck first, with a tactical masterclass from the whole team, turning what was a shot that hit the crossbar from Samotal, into a goal-scoring play that spanned the entire length of the pitch in just thirty seconds. Valletta City F.C. put in a ruthless attacking display to record one of their biggest wins of the year so on Sunday night as they thrashed NK Bistua Nuovao 7-0 at the Quarter Arena in Valletta.

Valletta led by three after a merciless first-half which saw Rafi Farrugia run riot with a hattrick.

Valletta City F.C. were comfortable in the second-half and notched their fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh goals, with Glen Mifsed scoring two and Paul Leffing also scoring two, his last goal coming in the 90th minute before the three minute extra time.

It was a scintillating first-half from Valletta and they made their opponents pay for every misplaced pass and positional error. They got the ball rolling on seven minutes when Leffing played a give-and-go with Farrugia before having a goalbound effort superbly charged down. However, Valletta recycled the ball and Farrugia jinked past the challenges in the 18 yard box, scoring the first goal for his club in the tournament.

Valletta almost doubled their lead on ten minutes when Farrugia, who had been pulling the strings since the off, threaded a sumptuous ball through to Mifsed whose low effort was saved by the keeper, although the flag on the far side was up.

The lead was eventually doubled a minute later, as Cody Muscat caressed a ball down the side of the NK defence, allowing Farrugia to latch onto it and fire the ball past the keeper at his near for his second of the match.

The goals kept coming and NK could not live with their ruthless opponents. On 19 minutes, Farrugia unleashed an unstoppable drive in off the post completing a hattrick.

Valletta City were comfortable in the second half as they set about defending their clean sheet. It took until the 58th minute for their opponents to register their first shot on target when one of the attackers deflected effort was easily saved by Ġakbu Mogg.

A surging run from Bruffa presented Mifsed with the chance to score at 53 minutes and Mifsed doesn't let him down to make it 4-0. Just three minutes later with a cross from Leffing, Mifsed scores his second making it 5-0.

NK almost got themselves on the scoresheet on 73 minutes when their attacker tried to divert a corner back towards goal but the woodwork denied them.

However, Valletta weren't stopping at five and Leffing got his name on the scoresheet late on, finishing at the back post after an assist from Farrugia. Then bang on the 90th minute mark, Sagius produced one of the assists of the night as his pinpoint low cross laid on the seventh goal again my Leffing giving him two goals. The country is not established until 1966, and football have been introduced long way before that. It was the British who introduce the sport into Pemecutan when it become their protectorate state in early 20th century. Back then the area was still called Pemecutan Protectorate States. A federation of 6 kingdoms, Tambangan, Ulunusa, Kauripan, Kanginan, Jimbarwana and Soracana. After a failed attempt to unite all 6 kingdoms into one sovereign states, 4 of them (which all located in Giri Island, Pemecutan main island) were come to agreement for the establishment of Giri Federation which was officially announced in 1949. Under this new country the first football association in the area was established in 1956, named Giri Football Association or GFA. The association maintain a sizable members with a 4-tiers domestic leagues during its time. Changes come to the area in mid 1960's, Kanginan Kingdom were collapsed. After gained their independence in 1952, Kanginan suffered a major economy breakdown which makes their government unable to hold the flow of their economy. In 1966, it is decided by the Government of Kanginan that they were merging with Giri Federation. This merge which creates Pemecutan.

At the beginning of the merge, the two football associations from each side were still being independent one another. It was not until 1972 that a unified association is established. They name it Pemecutan Football Association or PFA. The two associations are still in operation although now they include "Regional" in their name to distinct their power from PFA. The first director of PFA, Ngurah Agung Suranadhi, was known as a controversial figure. His decision to only recognized Giri domestic league as Pemecutan national league have hurt the feeling of Kanginan Regional Association of Football (KRAF) officials. He deemed that Kanginani clubs were second class clubs and very amateur. This decision have drifted the two regional associations apart. KRAF then tend to established their own competition without the supervision of PFA as their highest official. Gede Arta Jaya who replaced Ngurah Agung Suranadhi in 1979 try to reconnect both regional associations. He created Piala Raja (King's Cup) competition. This competition was joined by all clubs from both associations. But the gap between both associations were very deep that clashed and riots were a sight to see whenever clubs from both associations were playing each other. The culmination were in 1991 final. A huge riots in the capital city happened after the final match between Pescam Campuhan and Parsenggu Canggu. The match was won by Parsenggu Canggu, a club from Kanginan. Felt angered and shamed for being defeated by a club that they deemed second class making the fans of Pescam Campuhan burned the stadium and rioting the street of Pemecutan Puri. After the event, PFA decided to cancel the competition for the next year.

In 2000, PFA officials decided to resumed Piala Raja but in a new format. There were only 1 match held between the winner of Eka League (Giri top tier league) and Surya Utama League (Kanginan top tier league). This decision was being welcomed by the clubs manager and fans. But another riot happened in 2012 after Parsewi Mengwi won against Pesetih Titih. PFA once against canceled the competition. The two regional associations keeps getting apart with KRAF rarely involved in PFA's meeting or other events that created by PFA. The feel of being left are the reason behind this. And for all of the years, KRAF manage to build themselves as an independent regional association. In 2018, Gede Dwipa Mahardika, the director of PFA, approached the chief executive of KRAF at the time, Putu Oka Sanjaya. The main issue of the talks was to bring Kanginan into international stage by merging both leagues and the recognition of PFA with Kanginan clubs and leagues. The talks was quite intense as sometimes KRAF officials still feel the labeled that they was called before and for these many years that PFA making Kanginan a second class regional association. After much of persuasion, the meeting was fruited. A new competition and domestic leagues are officially established. It starting in 2020 (or year 1780 in Pemecutan calendar) with 4 top tier domestic leagues, Kasa, Karo, Katiga and Kapat. GRFA and KRAF both are given the responsibility to manage the lower level league(s).

In mid 2020, a major event happened. Soracana Islands is declaring war towards Pemecutan after they assumed that Pemecutan government is interfering their domestic situation. In the time, there is a coup happen in Soracana after their previous King died and the new King is crowned. The coup which led by the military is very concerning Pemecutan as their maritime border is very close. Pemecutan government decided to patrol their navy in the border between two countries, Soracana Straits, north of Giri Island. This act which was accused by the military government as an act of interference. The other fact is the Royal Family of Soracana fled to Pemecutan for safety reason. The war is easily to end as Pemecutan is far more superior. Under the supervision of Pemecutan, the Royal Family come back to Soracana soil and a quick referendum is held for the future of the small country. It is quite a surprise that the referendum resulting in annexation or merging with Pemecutan.

This merging is also affecting the situation in PFA. A quick meeting is held between PFA, GRFA, KRAF and SIFA (Soracana Islands Football Association). This meeting is to resolved the issue of SIFA position in PFA and the continuation of SIFA domestic league. After an intense talks, it is decided that SIFA is going to be a regional association of PFA just like GRFA and KRAF. Their name is change into Soracana Islands Regional Football Association or SIRFA. The addition of Soracana Islands clubs also changing Pemecutan domestic league. A major change is made. The previous 4 top-tier domestic league is scrapped and changed with 2 top-tier leagues which is supervised by PFA with a total of 36 clubs. The names are retain, Kasa for the top tier and Karo for the second tier. A promotion-relegation system is introduce between the national league and regional leagues, something that not use in the previous system. GRFA with 61 clubs member will supervised 3 tier regional leagues, Eka, Dwi and Tri, with Tri League is divided into 2 division, Tri Kaja and Tri Kelod Division. KRAF with 19 clubs will supervised 1 tier regional league, Surya Utama League. And lastly, SIRFA with only 13 clubs will also supervised 1 tier regional league, A-League. A total of 129 clubs from 127 municipalities are involved in the current system. This system is currently in use for 1781 football season which is still on-going. For the cup competition, there are 2 main cup competition. Union Cup or Piala Pesamuan is the national level cup competition which is only joined by the 36 clubs that compete in Kasa and Karo League. The second is Piala Raja or King's Cup. This competition is being revived again and it will be joined by all 129 clubs under the current system. One concern from the officials is SIRFA domestic league. With only 13 clubs and a higher possibility of being promoted then relegated (currently there are only 2 SIRFA clubs in the national league), it is be feared that there will be less than 8 clubs will compete in the A-League if SIRFA clubs doing well in national league and rarely being relegated from Karo League. The official say that there will be a possibility to merge SIRFA league with KRAF league if the situation occur.

Bistua Nuova football club is a women's football club and the champion of Srednjaci in the women's football league. It is currently ranked seventh in the league and not at last year’s level. Several important players left at the end of last season and the most famous name that left the club is Ivona Lužajić who went to Dormatisi Blue Stars for 12,000,000 Dalats per season. Davida Zimmer is the most famous name currently in the team. Davida is also the most expensive and highest paid player in the league. The national team member is for DR Srednjaci. Besides her, Danijela Majić and Jelena Jukić play in the national team as well. Zimmer and Majić are in the first team of DR Srednjaci and Jukić is a replacement. All three played on Baptism of Fire tournament and Davida Zimmer also entered on the list of scorers.

Profile: Kalosian football teams hoping to compete in the IBA Football Champions League

Football (futëbol) is the most popular sport in Kalosia. There are 3 league tiers in the Kalosian football league system. Serie A is the highest tier and includes the most high-profile teams in the nation. Serie B is the second highest division. Serie C refers to a number of regional leagues, which are more informal compared to the higher tier leagues. Football teams are called Asosiášio Futëbol (Football association), or AF for short. As is common throughout Rushmore, unigender teams are common in Kalosia — in fact one of the requirements for a team to be invited into Serie A is to have enough reserve players to create an all-male and all-female squad each. On the field, however, the squad tends to be unigender although there is typically a bias towards male players.

The governing body on Kalosian football, Federažio Kalosianë di Futëbol (Kalosian Football Federation — FKF) revealed that four teams from Serie B were interested in competing in the IBA Football Champions League. They are as follows, with the header colour reflecting the team's main colour.

Asosiášio Futëbol Cotgallo, based on the city of Kostagalu (Cafalonesque: Cotgallo), is one of the best-known all-male teams in Kalosia. They have a sister team, AF Kostagalu, and the two are based in different neighbourhoods of the city. It is common for gendered teams, particularly those of a relatively higher profile, to partner up in this manner. Critics say that a joint Kostagalean team has the potential to break into Serie A, however there are no current plans to merge.

Asosiášio Futëbol Venero takes its name from Mon Venero, the highest point in Kalosia. This mountain is near the town of Loreto, where the team is based. That aside, AF Venero has one of the more humble reputations in Serie B, although it still has its supporters. It is a mixed gender team perhaps by necessity, as Loreto is a relatively small town compared to others whose teams compete in Serie B and it is simply better for the town's morale to have only one team.

Although the town's name ultimately is traced to the Ancient Greek fertility goddess Demeter, the fact that its only non-Serie C football club is a women's team is purely coincidental. The men in this town either play for Serie C clubs or join AF Alžio, which is in a bigger town nearby. While there aren't as many all-female clubs compared to all-male clubs in Kalosia, AF Demitrio is one of the better-known all-female football teams in the nation.

[Alezian Union]

Ahh, the city of Metropolitan Zafizamarrah. A metropolis with 8 million people, bustling with high skyscrapers, highways, clean high tech factories, and entertainment. The capital of the Alezian economy, politics, diplomacy, and definitely, football. Maybe Alezians prefer to play on the ice more, but they can still surprise everyone in a good friendly game of football (or soccer).

To most of the international people, this place might look familiar. To your day-to-day Alezian, they know this place by heart. It's even said that you're not Alezian if you don't know the exact location of the National Stadium. This place is one of the biggest places in the metropolis by land area. The National Stadium is located just by the river, has the ability to seat 75,000 people. Other than being the home stadium of the Metropolitan Zafizamarrah, this stadium is also the host of the Alezian Union National Football Team and also hosted to date, the Alezian Union's biggest spectacle, which is the Reunification Ceremony, with many delegates attending. Who knows? You might've seen this stadium on TV! Fun times, indeed.

HISTORY

The Metropolitan Zafizamarrah Football Club was born in 1872 when it was called "The Royal British Zafizamarrah Football Team". The team played inside the colony, going against those of Basna, Tel Hadiv, and the others. And it continues to play nationally even after independence, where a time of closed contact made international game near impossible. And thus, the Zafizamarranians are very excited for the game considering that the stakes are higher due to them playing internationally for the first time.

IBA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEKONI PLAY-OFF REPORT
Weeks 4-6

The second half of the tournament plans to be as thrilling as the first, as each of the four teams shall play each other once more, but with the locations reversed. Can Galleon maintain their surprise lead over the champions?

All eyes were on Varea for the opening game of the return legs, as NKC Varea looked to make up ground over Galleon on their home turf, against a Black Star team looking for something to prove. The first blood was drawn, surprisingly, by the Mariners. 20 minutes in, Erino in defence managed to counter against the attacking side, and threaded the ball through the legs of Corregie, to a waiting Mayari from 25 yards out, who took his chance and let rip. A beautiful shot which struck the right post to go in, the keeper had no chance of stopping the early lead from the Mariners. However, it was not to be their afternoon, as the more dominant Varea side kept the control of the game well from the setback, allowing the inevitable Florién equaliser to slip through the defence just on the stroke of half time, and the second half was dominated by the league champions, who were very unlucky to not let the final score be decided by more than a single goal from Caspienne. A 2-1 scoreline means that Varea start as they mean to go on, with any real hope of the Mariners pulling a shock like they did in the league itself dashed for good.

Galleon looked to travel to Malbruc to increase their lead, whilst the Hawks were looking for a surprise upset to mount a potential attack on the second place spot. Any memories of Week 1's comedy of errors were trule dashed here, as the match was one hell of a show of defensive strength, especially from a Galleon side not normally known for keeping the ball out of their net. Both teams had their moments of pure attack, but both goalkeepers had clearly had done their homework, in particular, Napa of the Malbruc side's fantastic triplet of saves at the 40 minute mark, where the Galleon attack had three very good attempts at goal within thirty seconds, and every single one deflected by him, with the final one being caught to kill the play, an open-mouthed smile of breathless relief clear to see. In this war of attrition, it was down to who blinked first, and unfortunately, it would be Napa that would cause the team's loss. In the 72nd minute, Nadeki fired into the bottom right corner, no problem for him to save, but instead of pushing the ball out for a corner, it deflected back off a defender's legs, across the mouth of the goal, into a waiting Ravello kick at an open net. A heartbreakingly cruel end to a day where, for all but the space of a minute, both teams were displaying world-class quality.

With two weeks to go, the round-robin tournament starts to reach fever pitch, as the two front-runners face the teams in the bottom half, with Galleon potentially able to seal the deal with a win. Unfortunately, they'd have to do it against their city rivals, and with lots still left on the table, the Black Star Mariners showed fire from the outset, pushing against the Galleon back four from the off. A van Bielen opener at the 30 minute mark was countered soon after, with Aremberg waking up after a lacklustre start to curl one in from the outside of the penalty box. Half time at 1-1, but the Mariners seemed to be the better team on their rival's turf. The second half was a much more evenly matched affair, with Galleon building up the confidence that seemed to elude them for much of the first 45. The deadlock was broken at 10 minutes from time, with Forde being brought down in the penalty area, and the Mariner's Pavart earning a yellow for his trouble, the Galleon captain converted the spotkick with a beautiful top-left shot, and Galleon had one hand on the trophy. Alas, they also had both eyes on the trophy, and not on the ball, as immediately from the kick-off, a rapid-fire play from Ferrer and Mayari found its way past Bastien. 2-2, and Galleon had just given their rivals at Varea one hell of a Get Out Of Jail Free card.

At Malbruc, the visitors of Varea were playing their match simultaneously, with knowledge of the scoreline being thrown from the coaches to their players, which explained the flow of the game. Varea notched an early one from Caspienne's left at 15 minutes in, but couldn't break a very difficult-to-play Malbruc defense further, with their defensive midfield opting to take the role of full-back for the first half whilst they rode out the storm. An expected half time scoreline of 1-0, they could defend, but knew that it wasn't their time to stage an attack. On restart, as it stood, Varea was in the driving seat in the league, and Varea looked to slot in a second to confirm the huge advantage going into their final deciding game...and then Galleon scored. The news somehow spread across the ground, and the instant deflation in the team was obvious. A free-kick from Samotal 45 yards out was terribly shot, directly at a Malbruc midfelder, who was able to pass to a completely unmarked Kuno, who had acres of free space to run in an easy goal to equalise. The immediate equaliser from the other side of Nekoni didn't completely rejuvenate Varea, who were immensely lucky to not concede a second 5 minutes from time, but they held out for a 1-1 draw. Both teams in title contention took their eye off the ball at crucial times, and as a result, they would have to play each other for the gold.

Before the tournament started, it was decided that the 1st and 2nd teams in the 2020-21 league would play each other in the final game, as would the 3rd and 4th. This meant that, should the expected results turn out, both matches would have something to play for: the 3rd place play-off and the cup final effectively at the same time. Unfortunately, it seems that the 3rd place playoff match was effectively a dead rubber in a tournament that didn't particularly offer a tangible prize for even the winner. As a result, the Malbruc and Mariners game was as uneventful as their first encounter. In the words of revered NTR commentator James Rossi, it was 'bowling-shoe ugly'. A single goal from Short cemented the Mariners' wooden spoon, but it was clear that both teams were tired from their previous game, wanting to preserve their energy for the international matches ahead.

The effective final, however, was notable for completely the opposite reasons. Galleon looked to be the domineering side going in, with the team second-placed in the league just needing to hold out for 90 minutes to secure a playoff win against Varea. Their 90 minutes of survival lasted a total of nine minutes. So early in, and Bastien committed one of the biggest nightmare scenarios in goalkeeping, as he attempted to kick a goal kick, slipped on the ball, and it skidded off to the side, right where a charging Florién had no trouble with an empty net. This early shot put a knife in Galleon, and it seemed they had resigned to loss there and then. Despite making attempts to contain possession, they were not able to get the ball anywhere remotely into goalscoring chances, and the Varean side knew this. A quick run after the interval from Florién, and Varea were 2-0 up. With the title all but decided, Varea could have stopped, but they realised that they needed to show the international teams watching that they were not to be messed with. Galleon were going to be punished. It should have been 6-0, at least. The constant bombardment of play for the remaining 30 minutes was astonishing, as the Tigers found the defensive holes in the Marina Point side, and ripped them wide open. Despite conceding two more, Bastien had recovered from his embarrassing earlier flop, and his goalkeeping was the rare light in a side that absolutely got dominated in the latter phases of the game, with the defense around him letting the poor man down. After the captain, Forde, notched a third, before allowing Florién to get his hat-trick, mercifully, for Galleon, it was over. A 4-0 drubbing at Varea, on a day which started out so promising, but now gave the boss at Galleon serious questions regarding the strength of his defensive players.

Results of Preliminary Round for Waisnorian teams

Waisnorian teams - Gazovik, Energetik and Atom - were packed into a Group 29. They were joined by Grevillia Flame from Beepee, but for the most part it was still battles of Waisnorian teams.
In the first matchday everything went pretty smooth - Atom played 1-1 with Grevillia Flame and Gazovik expectedly triumphed over Energetik 2-1, but the second one was marked my both matches ending in crushing defeats - Grevillia Flame was destroyed by Gazovik 0-4 and Atom rather unexpectedly, giving their reputation as current holder of the WML trophy (although this status won't last for long), lost to Energetik 1-5.
In day three the same two teams won over their opponents - Energetik now defeated Grevillia Flame 3-2 and Gazovik defeated Atom 2-0. After the half of matches were over, Gazovik was leading the group as the only team who didn't suffer any defeats with 9 points. Second place was secured by Energetik with 6 points. Atom and Grevillia Flame were at the bottom of the table with only 1 point both.
Day Four saw everyone leaving the field with one point more - Grevillia Flame and Atom again played 1-1 and Energetik finally managed to take some points away from Gazovik, playing 0-0. Day Five was marked by another crushing defeat of Grevillia Flame by Gazovik, now with a score of 1-5. In the other match, Atom managed to avenge their defeat in Day Two and defeated Energetik 2-1.
Day Six was basically repeat of Day Three, only with different scores - Energetik won over Grevillia Flame with a score of 3-0 and Gazovik defeater Atom 3-1. At the end of Prelimiary Round, Gazovik was leading a table, never suffering a defeat with 16 points, Energetik retained their 2nd place in the group with 10 points, Atom placed 3rd with 5 points and only non-Waisnorian club, Grevillia Flame placed last with only 2 points.

After the last matches came to an end on Sunday, in Doportedas, there was a live draw for all of the 132 participating football teams in the IBA Football Champions League. Teams were divided into pots, with pots A and B having 12 teams each - with one from each pot being picked to head each of the 12 groups (Groups A to L). There were then four other pots with 27 teams. It was a very long night but it was totally worth it! Many hundreds of thousands watched the Youtube livestream and here are the results of it. Remember, only the top two teams of each group will qualify, with third placed teams going into another round to decide the final eight...

Each team was given a score out of 12 depending on how well they performed in the preliminary round which decided the pots for each team.

In Group A, the team that was seeded 10th - Demolishers from Hebitakia is the highest-rated and will be expected to lead the way on the tables. Demolishers are a team not be reckoned with, a IBACL score of 10 - it'll be very hard to beat them. With a ranking of 8.68, AF Cotgallo has a chance, however. The all-male team AF Cotgallo in Kalosia are the best of the four Kalosian teams participating, winning four of the six matches they played in their domestic preliminary round league. As they play teams abroad, will they begin to dominate and push Demolishers from top position? Other notable teams in this draw include Simjang Co. Sharks from Axuva who is the third-best in the group with a score of 7.5 - but were drawn as the fifth team in Group A. KŻT Lugżiar from Belgaam with a score of 7 and G̊usrar CF from North Yege with a score of 6 - this group will be a very exciting one to watch for those football aficionados.

In Group B, 12th seeded FC Baspink from Hafamarimet leads the pack with a score of an IBACL score of 9.32 - slightly lower than that of Group A, but it makes all the more interesting as we look lower down the line-up. With a score of 8.67, The Queensport Qualis from Not Auphelia could cause an upset very easily, potentially jeopardising a clear and easy path for FC Baspink. Another Axuvian team is hot on the heels of the leaders of the group with F.C Nordonygrod's score of 8 meaning that they could cause upsets and send some major teams packing their bags. Other major teams in Group B include Natanya's Nightton Rangers who have a score of 7.34 and PSTK Tegeh Kori from Pemecutan with the same score. They will be battling it out for 3rd - but anything could happen in this group. A big shout out to Britonish team Krest Top, the first team of the hosts that have appeared.

Moving on to Group C, leading the pack is Esrille Town who was seeded 11th. Esrille Town is from Beepee and they scored 9.34 in the preliminary round - a very good score. Berezina FC from Sklobovia, however, is only ranked 15th - with a score of 9.2 meaning that the matches between Esrille and Berenzina will be a feast for the eyes. Another Not Auphelia team shows up very high on a group with a score of 6.5 but all eyes will be on whether Kassegrochia's top team; AFK Perman-Ziga with 7.34 will be able to topple the two giants at the top of the pack. Greiyev Metro FC is also from Sklobovia so each of the teams will be heading to that country twice for both of their home games. Other teams to keep your eyes on are Distrik Ibukota from Antahbrantahstan or and Adab United (guess where they are from!?) for added spice and drama.

Lead by Lada Kirovski - the fourth-seeded team in the competition with a perfect score of 12, Group D will be a hard one for the teams ranked 2nd to 11th to get to the top. Metropolitan Zafi FC from the newly named Alezian Union has a score of 8.67 and is in danger from those in Elejamie, Play de Rocas CF who has a score of 8. Elejamie's team was the best one in the preliminary round and could catch up with the likes of Metropolitan Zafi and snatch second place from them - this will be a very dramatic race to the top but it is expected that Lada Kirovski will be left unperturbed. Hosts of the competition, Togonistan, have their best team, Hwaoarang Shoguns in this team with a score of 8 as well. Hosting could make the Shoguns hungrier than ever and so they will be one to watch intensely when looking at the league table.

The queen of beauty pageants, Antahbrantahstan also have an eye for football it seems, with their team Sundowner AFC is seeded eighth and will be leading Group E. Sundowner AFC has an IBACL score of 10.68, meaning that the team did quite well in the preliminary round. Sundowner AFC won five of its matches, and drawing a tie on one - so they don't seem like a team ready to lose and will be hoping this continues into Round One. Teesdexxia provides the second-best team in Group E with Whitby Town having a score of 8.68. Whitby Town won four of their matches, drawing a tie for one of them, and then lost one of their matches. Other notable teams in the group include Szalics City from Bulisca and Energetik from Waisnor.

Group F sees the small island of Malta Comino Gozo on top form with Valletta City FC with the perfect score of 12 leading the group. Similar to Lada Kirovski of Polkopia in Group D, it is not expected that the team would find it too hard to qualify out of the team and earn their way to Britonisea/Togonistan for the main event. Ertzei Kishimi team, Maccabi Tiferet has a score of 8.68 and will be fighting to retain their second place in the group, but there are a couple of teams that could rival them. Teams will be travelling to Estogium twice in this group as Alshkan Futballen and Darlington Shire are both here - two of Estogium's best teams. Alshkan Futballen will be one to watch out for as the team has an IBACL score of 7.34. Don't think this will be an easy third place for Alshkan, however with North Yege's team, Khgqimch FC ranks third in the group with an IBACL score of 8. If they play their cards right, Khgqimch FC could cause an upset for avid Estogian football fans.

*insert Britonish cheering here* The winner of the Brityuniksleague in Britonisea, Athlétique Nationalé has managed to bag themselves a spot as one of the leaders and with 10.68 IBACL points, they have landed in Group G. Athlétique Nationalé will be unforgiving as the team really does want there to be Britonish presence at the main event and they are the team who can make that easily happen. However, it won't be quite as straightforward for the Britonish team as some of the other pack leaders. In a Novapax 1-2, FC Örkendrem 97 from Darkmania is only hot on the heels of Athlétique Nationalé with a score of 9.32 - meaning there could be fireworks when these two teams meet. The Darkmanians and Britons are very good friends and strong regional partners, but there will be high levels of rivalry between the two countries, each willing to show which is the better Novapaxian nation. In a surprising turn of events, nearly all of Srednjaci's preliminary round team were drawn to participate in Group G. With the fear of them being nearly completely wiped out of the competition, along with added home advantage support, their teams will be fighting to get in the way of Novapaxian domination.

In Group H, another heavy hitter leads the way. FC Rostov from Admincohns Namerryaz will be hoping to make an everlasting impact - ready to blitz all of their competition. Admincohns Namerryaz is a newer nation on the IBA circuit that not many people know about - could they be surprising winners and take the crown home? Not if the South Saints from Ethane are on their top form! With a score of 8.68, the gap between the leaders and 2nd place is a rather large one, but Ethane is one of the biggest names in the world of Sport and so one or two mistakes South Saints have made in the preliminary round will be easily corrected now that we move onto Round One of the competition. This group seems to be the most straightforward, with other notable teams, Club Pallasovka and The Other Placey Placington Team being the only two real contenders for third...but things could change!

Our friends from Adab have the same ranking as Athlétique Nationalé and leads the way for Group I. Baghdad City has won five of their six preliminary round matches, and ending in a tie in another. The team was leaps and bounds ahead of second-place Adab United in the prelims, with Adab United scoring double the number of points as their Adabian rivals. Will this translate here in Group I, you must be thinking? Cavas Żív Tażíör from Belgaam have a score of 8.67 and so could definitely cause some upsets and clinch first place, but Baghdad City will do their very best to hold off the team from Belgaam. Ertzei Kishim's Hapoel Rakaphy will be hoping to making an impact with a score of 6.5. They are Ertzei Kishim's second-best team and have a real chance in Group I to make it through. Kalosia's second most successful team submitted, AF Sitria will also be hoping to at least make it to the third spot, with the hope that more than one Kalosian team can make it to the final 32. There are two Ethanian teams and two Ertzei Kishimi teams here, alongside Tushlark Superstars from Togonistan and Luton & City United from Britonisea - the sights for Group I after a while will definitely look very samey.

Redmond FC for Group J is one of the most powerful teams participating with the team from Countesia scoring a perfect 12 IBACL rank points. They will be facing stiff competition from Muse United, the best team that Scotatrova has with their team scoring a total of 9.32 points. In Scotatrova, football is a major thing and so their population will be on the edges of their seats, hoping for nothing but the best from their players. Scotatrova is in the position that the teams from SRE are in, with three of Scotatrova's teams being in the one team. At least one will need to qualify as something tells us the nation will go up in arms if all Scotatrovan teams are wiped out. Sepe Region from Beepee and the Conventry Wanderers from Elejamie will be looking for an argument as the pair strive to stop Scotatrova's team from qualifying for the main event.

The final two groups start with Estersport from Kyritakia who has the 5th highest score of the competition - 10.68. Similar to the other 10.68 teams, they won five of their matches before drawing a tie with their sixth and so haven't ever faced losing yet. The question is...will they be able to keep this up? Leones FC from Achaean Republic will have a good chance to stop Estersport, with their score of 8.68 seeing them as being one of the favourites. Achaean Republic isn't a very footbally nation, but they do have a great sense of national pride and so they will be cheering on their men. Other notable clubs include, Athletic Club in Hebitakia and Aysean Campifut from hosts Britonisea who will most likely be fighting for the 3rd spot - but if they play a good game, they could even pip Leones FC for second.

The final team sees Gazovik from Waisnor leading the way - another one of our 10.68 scored team. NKC Varea and Galleon, both from Nekoni, were drawn to perform in Group L both with strong scores of 8.68 and 5.49 - which could see both of these teams qualifying through to the next round. A Placely Placington Team from Placey Placington could break up the party in Nekoni with their team, with an IBACL score of 8 potentially wedging themselves right in the middle of the two, leaving one Nekoni team in Group L.

The exact schedule of the IBACL 2021 will be revealed on Friday or Saturday but for now, I hope you enjoyed the reveal so far and look forward to the beginning of the matches (next week).
