NSBL (Nation States Basketball League) - Signups Thread.

*The NSBL is a league inspirated by the NBA*

FORMAT: The league will be made up of 16 teams. The regular season will consist of 60 games.
All teams must face each team in the league 4 times. The eight firsts teams will go to the playoffs, making the first one face the eighth, the second to the seventh, the third to the sixth ...
Each round of the playoffs will consist of 3 games.


SIGNUPS: To appear in the league, each team must present its logo, its kit, its roster (which must be made up of 15 players in the main positions: PG / SG / PF / SF / C), and its stadium.


AWARDS: At the end of the regular season, prizes will be awarded to the best performing players. The awards are as follows:
-MVP
-BDP (Best Defensive Player)
-Best Coach


ALL-STAR: In the middle of the season, there will be a game with the 22 players who have performed the most up to that moment.

Couple of questions, though. 1) How do you intend to scorinate the tournament? 2) How will RP bonus be applied? 3) How does this differentiate itself from the existing basketball championship that has been running for many editions?

1) It will be a score of balance of victories and defeats. Thus, the team with the best win-loss balance will come first.

2) Where I am going to simulate games, there is an option that gives an advantage to the teams that play at home. Well, I will activate that option to those who do RP.

Do you have any plan to take RP quality in consideration? What if two nations that previously have made RP face each other? How would you apply the RP bonus?

We are not hating you, it is just that there are general guidelines to the hosting of tournaments and people want to have clarification on these points before potentially committing.

You’re getting it wrong. Nobody here hates you or anything like that. See, I honestly like basketball, so if I'm going to participate in something, I want to understand the criteria you're going to use, to decide whether or not it's worth dedicating a part of my time to it.

I repeat: Nobody here said they hate you. We're just trying to warn you that your idea is full of holes. First you say that all teams will have the same levels, then you say that you will give a Home Team bonus to the team that you write, And finally, taken by the circumstances as a plastic cup is taken by the sea, you say that the teams they won't have the same levels ... It's a 180º turn in your plans. If you can't deal with an opinion that isn't validating you, you should not be around. Multiplayer RP is prone to controversies, due to the exact fact this is multiplayer.

The best advices I can give you are:
1.Define clearly not only what you want to do, but also How you are going to do it.
2. Have in mind this is a Roleplaying forum, so hopefully, there will be a focus on that.
3. Read the Guide to Sports Roleplaying.
