The IBA Football Champions League is an association football tournament amongst football clubs of the nations that are currently apart of the International Broadcasting Alliance. This will be the first major IBA sports tournament. The event will be co-hosted by Britonisea and Togonistan.

Questions & Answers
How many teams can I submit?
The recommended number of teams that each nation submits is four teams. As there will be a pre-tournament round in order to come up with some preliminary rankings, for nations that have signed up four teams, they will be able to have their own round-robin amongst their nation's teams. We understand that not all nations have four professional teams (or might not want to submit four), so you are able to sign up between 1-3 teams as well but for the preliminary rankings, you will be allocated an International round-robin where your team could be playing teams from another country in order to receive their preliminary ranking.
Can I submit a puppet?
Yes, you are allowed to submit two other nations for The IBA Champions League (three teams total), but please be aware that a user can only submit a maximum of 6 teams. We ask that you confirm you and your puppets on the sign-up thread below.
What if I have a multinational league?
If you would like to have your own round-robin (ie four nations), but that is across more than one nation (in my case, say I wanted to use an ABEN-wide league and have teams from Britonisea, Estogium and Nightom in the mix), you are allowed to do this, but this must be noted on the form that you fill out.
What is the pre-tournament round and who will scorinate it?
The pre-tournament round will be a simple round-robin event - each team will be four teams large with nations submitting four teams having their own round-robin (for example, if Britonisea were to submit their four best teams; Aysean CF, Norwaege CF, Alshkan Futballen and Krest Top - teams unconfirmed - the four teams would have a round-robin amongst themselves). Based on the IBACL ranks - a ranking using KBP formula, a rank from the best team to the worst team will be made, with more detail found here in this document. Using Xkoranate's SQIS formula, if a nation has submitted four teams as part of one of their nation's league, they can scorinate their own pre-tournament round-robin; posting it on the IC thread before Sunday 16th May 2021, 20:00 BST. If a nation has failed to scorinate their own event after saying they would, their teams will have a ranking of zero to begin with. For those of you who don't want to risk it, either Britonisea or Togonistan will scorinate it.
If you've submitted four teams to The IBA Champions League, you will receive the IC dates of the matches on the IC Thread as well as on the IBA Champions League Schedule which will give you the OOC date of when it will be scorinated on.
As it says on the document (please take note if you'd like to scorinate your own round-robin), based on how you place your four teams from 1 to 4, I will assume Team 1 is your best team, and so they will have a modifier of 4, 2nd best team would have 3, 3rd best team would have 2 and worst of the 4 would have 1 - hopefully, this increases the chance of realistic results.
Can I have a pre-tournament round with another user?
If you don't want to submit four nations and you know of someone who is in the same boat as you, if you come up with four teams amongst you, I can place you and one other user in a pre-tournament group, yes. This must be posted by one party and confirmed by the other but please note that the order in which you put the teams will have an effect on the teams ranking in the pre-tournament round.
What happens if I don't have another user to partner up with?
When sign-ups close on the 9th May 2021, soon after, you will receive a notification about what other international teams your football clubs have been allocated with. Between the 10th May and 18th May, all your matches will be scorinated.
Remember, if you submit four teams, your round-robins will happen sooner and you'll have your team's ranking sooner than the rest.
Will my team be kicked out of the championships at the pre-tournament round?
No! Just remember that the point of the pre-tournament round is only to give your team a ranking. Every team will then be sorted into pots which will be posted in the IC thread and there might be a premiere which puts every team into their groups.
As I understand that we could have very little or a lot of teams (if user eligible submitted four teams we'd have over 300 - but let's be real, that won't happen!), I will be scorinating the pre-tournament and round-robins alongside Togonistan.
What happens after the first round, round-robin?
The 1st round, round-robin, by the way, will happen between 23rd May and 20th June 2021 ICly (with scorination twice a week, I believe - to be confirmed). ICly, the round-robins will take place in YOUR nations. Each team will have a chance to play at home and away. The more information you give us on each of your team's home stadium (in your rosters), the more we can interact with this and add it to the schedule! It will be scorinated by us.
The top 32 teams from the round-robin first round will go to Britonisea/Togonistan where they will play another round-robin before the knock-out stages in World Cup format. The schedule of this is on the excel document, happening ICly between 27th June and the 25th July (scorinations on July 1st, 6th, 11th, 17th, 20th, 23rd, 25th).
Both of us have the relevant experience when it comes to round-robin/knock-out stage scorination with us having host various NSTT sanction events and football leagues respectively. In case of any changes in the format or a change of scorination date, we will let you know with 48 hours notice in case of emergencies!
Can I sign up?
Yes, you can. Sign-ups will be open until 9th May 2021, 20:00 BST - but the hosts have the right to close the sign-ups at an earlier or later time than intended (for example if we get many more sign-ups than we expected). In case we have some weird numbers, in the form below, those who have selected to be contacted for more teams will be contacted by one of the hosts if we need the name of another team.
