Southern Palm Islands is an island country located in Melayu Archipelago. It is also known as Palm Islands or SPI. In ancient time, it was part of the Sripala Kingdom alongside Eraman (Northern Palm Islands), Sharktail (Western Palm Islands) and Pemecutan (Eastern Palm Islands).

The Southern Palm Islands was then used as a trading post for Malayalee traders from Indusse. The trading post grew so big over time until the Malayalee outnumbered the native Austronesians in the islands. It is now the only Malayalee-majority nation in Melayu Archipelago.

Southern Palm Islands Football Association (SPIFA) is the main organization behind the development of football in Southern Palm Islands. The SPIFA is one of the emerging nations in Melayu Archipelago. With the success of Eraman and Sharktail in international level, SPIFA finally decided to send the national team to compete with the rest of the world.

CENTRAL SHANEVILLE MAKES MELAYU DEBUT, BUT IS AN EARLY EXIT ON THE CARDS FOLLOWING GROUP DRAW
The scene in the Central Shaneville camp is rather tense tonight, some players can be seen firing themselves up whilst others (mainly the newer players) seemingly panic at the thought of being thrown in the deep end, this tournament is also crucial for controversial manager Jay Bucks who has been issued an ultimatum by the Shaneville Sports Association - Get out the group or you will be fired.

This comes after a failed World Cup qualifying campaign as well as several complaints about Bucks behavior from behind the scenes sources saying "Bucks says he learns from his mistakes but I don't think he does, he always says that we're going to perform better at the next tournament yet this doesn't happen, I think Central Shaneville is sick of the guy to be fair."

RESERVES/SUBS

The following below is the general introduction to the Central Shaneville for any sides who maybe new to facing them.

Players to watch out for are the defenders - Luke Graham, Danny Weaire, Zach Demou and Lewis Young as they are new to an established Central Shaneville lineup however this defense can be leaky at times.

Up front, David Vujanic and Josh Smith return - nations that faced Central Shaneville in the World Cup qualifying were always cautious when facing these two men as their attacks can be devastating to an opponent some people even say its what got Central Shaneville out of its group at Independents Cup 11 in its first attempt that tournament, Smith is known for his long shots whilst Vujanic prefers a more technical approach this variety is good but can lead to a few arguments sometimes between attackers and defenders.

Now you know the players to a level, the manager Jay Bucks is of outside Central Shaneville decent and this shows as when things dont go the way he likes on the pitch he tends to shout and get fired up on the touchline the Shaneville fans however love his commitment and respect for the nation as his personality on the touchline has gained a cult following in itself, recently though (as mentioned) his fans and his team have turned against him as Central Shaneville's people start to wish for a new manager, can this tournament save Bucks' skin?

Now you know the team and the manager, its time to see what this tournament has to offer for Central Shaneville.

CENTRAL SHANEVILLE RELEASE NEW WALK ON SONG, FANS ARE MIXED...
Central Shaneville (on an international level) has always tried to do something different on the big stage and talk in the Central Shaneville camp is on this very subject as Central Shaneville's social media accounts were very happy to announce a new walk on song for Central Shaneville at events though has been met with some backlash with some fans saying things like: "That seems arrogant to me" with others saying "This song is perfect as it shows our courage of our nation."

The fans got into such a debate that Central Shaneville players themselves started getting in on the act telling people how they felt about the song (despite most of them appearing in the music video for it) with striker David Vujanic saying "Its not supposed to be seen as a cocky and arrogant song, we're just trying to do something different for this competition and if it doesn't work then it doesn't work."

Central Shaneville has always encouraged its fans to get more involved though so maybe this new "publicity stunt" succeeded in that aspect as it got people talking but talking a big game and playing one are two different things and with the hosts first up for Central Shaneville (the first time they have ever faced a host nation) the team will be looking to make an impression knowing they will be walking into a possible hostile environment, from a mental stand point, once they step onto the field in a few days time.

OOC Note
This is the song its based of, the lyrics in the Central Shaneville version have been changed around compared to what you hear in the original but you should get the general idea of what Central Shaneville was going for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioenqyO ... otballClub

TROLLEBORG NATIONAL TEAM

Nickname: Trolls

Total official games in every tournament +74=25–35
Total games in Melayu Cup +2=2–3

Trolleborg national team is relatively recently entered world arena, but nevertheless already make a mark, won Baptism of Fire and twice qualified onto World Cup in four attempts. This is third visit to Melayu Archipelago, first two runs was rather disappointing, altought clearly not due to the lack of playing skills.

NATIONAL TEAM

Image

COACH

The team is still coached by Morten TROGHIL – triumphator of the BoF and creator of every success (and responsible for every failure) of national team. He recently passed another public confidence test, which was mandatory for a civil servants in Trolleborg, with a overwhelming margin.

PLAYERS

For a MC team was visibly revamped, since this is good opportunity to see new players in the battle.

Goalkeepers
Tomas Kot Kotsson (31). Flexible and agile, quick-thinking, he, alas, don’t make miracles in the international games. He prove this in the every campaign up to date, unfortunately.
Jesper Krogh (23). Recent addition to the squad, player who already prove himself on a league level, fast and good at the second floor. This tournament will be his first experience of big football.
Lunde, Johann (24). Another new face in the team, back in the time he was a goalkeeper of the team at the the only and extremely unfortunate tournament of our U21 team. “Master of the Box” as he was known, he recently proved his skills in the recent all-league training camp for a goalkeepers, quickly adopted for a new fixture and this secure him a place in the national team at least for a time being.

Defenders
Kasper Wolters (28). One of the team brightest stars, he is right back by default, but he is very strong, very fast, have a very good shot and even better crossing skill. Having all this, he very often make a lighting runs to the opposition box and sometime substitute right midfielder if need arise. He played extremely confidently last few tournaments.
Loonstrup, Jesper (23). Another man from unfortunate U21 team, he at last receive a ticket to the national team camp. He is flank defender in the preferred Trolleborg style for such a players – fast moving, adept in supporting attacking moves, willingly throw himself in the way of the ball, aggressive in tackling.
Aien Troger (28). He is fast, strongly build and extremely good in tackling. It’s very challenging to move into the box past him and he is made a serious progress for three seasons Trolleborg team played in the international football.
Torben Bagger (29). He was distinguished by composure and the right choice of position in the games of domestic championship, and he was called up to the national team due to the breakdown of the two key defence players, proved to be solid choice, and recently he managed shouldered some established players out of lineup.
Joran Du Riis(26). Altough only added to the squad year and a half ago, this cold-blooded fighter already prove himself on the highest level.
William Schendel(25). Recent addition to the squad, agile fast moving defender known for his skillful positioning and man-marking.
Jaan Berg (22). He is one of the Trolleborg players who play in the first ever football tournament for the country, U18 world cup. Man-marker, which have give a tough time to established forwards in the league with every opportunity, he have a chance in the first national team.

Midfielders
Hendrick Groningen (30). The defensive midfielder, probably the best in his generation. His talent of intercepting ball in the middle and using every possibility to begin attacks was fully appreciated by everyone – apart, probably, of his opponents. With a coming age, however, he was a slightly slower than needed to be.
Morten Gronquist (22). He has intake of international football with now-disbanded U18 team, and move fast forward in his career – raised in the Finnsnes Hurps youth team, he prefer to be transferred to the lower division where he have a place in the line-up, and then have won second league, then helped his team establish in the highest league. Making himself a name because of his good passing and dribbling skills.
Jasper Lucius (23). With a perfect sense of game, this central midfielder usually can move ball to where it want with only one touch, and he is good with a set-pieces. Already established player in his hometown team, and clearly stated that he is not move everywhere. It’s entirely plausible that a whole bunch of his personal fans from hometown will follow him into the Pemecutan.
Finn Finnsnes (31). Already making himself a name in world football due to his extremely good game and attractive style of play. He is swift, smart, good dribbler and excelled in set-pieces. Probably he will have not much time in the MC, acted more as a mentor for a midfielders.
Morten Troll (27). He is a brightest star amongst midfielders in the whole country. Genius of game, with a wonderful dribbling, beautiful technique, excellent pass and extremely good shot, he won many games for his local team single-handedly, but also a great team player. Highly probably, he will be a player of generation, and very probably, best player Trolleborg ever had. He brilliantly justified all the positive reviews of his game at almost every tournament.
Ruud Kolding (29). Left midfielder, covering lot of ground with his unbeliveable stamina, can press forwards or go back as team need.
Kenneth Pathmoor (25). Prove himself highly successfull adept to the condition of the international football, Kenneth is versatile and clever midfielder, who can cover a lot of space and conjure goal opportunity for his forwards from nothing, and he was more than happy to upset opponents in person, prove this in the recent WCQ.
Torstein Halst (22). Right winger\forward, with a good passing, master of highly accurate long crosses and very well making in curved shots from outside the box.
Windass, Kasper (23). Broad and strong, he looked a little bit sluggish when moving without ball, but everything changes when he have it. Then he moved extremely fast, sweeping away everything in its path due to his mighty shape and usually ended with a clever pass.

Forwards
Stuart Kerr (31). Quick, brave, skillful, and having ability shot from everywhere in the box right despite defenders best efforts. Brilliantly confirmed his reputation as a prolific scorer, winning a prize for the topgoalscorer of BoF and add to his tally not a few goals in the other tournaments. In MC he was probably will spend much of his time on the bench, acting as a backup in the hour of need.
Karsten Severin (26). This fast forward, who can find opportunity to put ball into the net even in the most troublesome situations, are quite impressive in the last six season. But it will be seen, if he succeed in defending his place in lineup against new players.
Tom Gulbranden (29). Build like a very tall stone wall, he easily can tramp defenders if he wish to do so. It is looked impossible, that a man of such a stature can bring himself in the air at all, but nevertheless he is – strongly jumping and struck the ball by the head with deadly precision, scoring many of the most beautiful goals of the team. He was not, alas, too much adept to the wet and dump grounds, so Melayu Cups climate is not his preferred habitat. Again, like his long-time companion Stuart Kerr, he will be a mentor and backup for a younger new players.
Henrik Heggheim(25). The quality of his game caught the attention of the national team coach, and while many experts ask if he is good enough, Morten Troghil decide to give him a chance – which he don’t use right now.
Torgeir Berglund (24). Another recent addition to the squad, classical power forward in the mold of Tom Gulbranden.
Torfinn Jivoglot (22). Albeit very young, he is already played full season as a forward in the National League with a very decent play-to-goal rate. Very fast, reading game perfectly, with a strong goal flair, he will probably have a bright future.
Mogren Langepaas (22). Former star of the Youth League, than best stiker of the second national one, and right now established players in the highest league. His style of play does not look very spectacular, but he has a phenomenal scoring sense and constantly finds gaps in the defensive orders.

TEAM GAME

Team practiced attractive attacking game on a fast pace, and already its style well-known and liked by public. Integral part of the team’s game will be mighty pressing, applied whatever on the field when ball is not on our side. Team looked highly motivated and eager to please fans (both local and foreign).

National psyche tell players to put everything even if odds are heavily against, so almost every match in the league played with high determination, and national team shirt oblige one who wore it for even more efforts. Unsportsmanlike behavior is highly discouraged even if in the interests of the cause, and national team players are required to meet the highest standards possible, so it is completely impossible to imagine a player of the Trolleborg national team faking injury or begging for a penalty. But players are not easily bullied, though, and more than able to stand up for themselves both as individuals and as a team, and have a strong inclination to go tit-for-tat in case of excessive brutality on the opponent’s part.

Style -5.

CENTRAL SHANEVILLE ARRIVE IN FEDERAL CITY...BUT WHATS GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES?
The Central Shaneville team arrived in Federal City today to prepare for their match against the hosts tomorrow in what is a tough debut in the Melayu Archipelago Cup for the island nation.

The team were seen performing some training drills at a nearby training ground with a focus seemingly on attacking football (a custom in Central Shaneville) with the players looking determined and ready to impress as the faithful fans of Central Shaneville also started arriving in the city ahead of the game with some sources saying that "there was definitely an atmosphere last night around the bars."

Elsewhere, the Shaneville Sports Association continue to monitor the behavior and tactics of controversial manager Jay Bucks with the SSA saying "Our ultimatum still stands with Jay but if he doesn't pull his finger out and stops blaming everyone else for the team's recent failures than we will have no choice but to look for a new manager" the statement comes as a Central Shaneville news article depicted Bucks as "someone who creates a toxic environment rather than a productive one."

Despite all the behind the scenes drama, the team themselves look to do well this tournament to get some morale back into the team following a rather average World Cup qualifying run which saw them finish mid table in their group.

The Island of the Lost announces its roster for the 7th Melayu Archipelago Cup

By Inès Neville

The Island of the Lost returns to the Melayu Archipelago Cup amid joyful celebrations from the people of the Island of the Lost. However, these celebrations are also tempered with the feeling that the team must at least do better than what they did when they took part in the Melayu Archipelago Cup for the first time. Following the recent unexpected and inexplicable movement of our island from the region known as Rushmore to the region called the Melayu Archipelago, and with all records and important documents stating that the Island of the Lost had always been in the Melayu Archipelago since time immemorial, it has been decided by the Football Association of the Lost that they would not let an advantage go to waste, and we are henceforth sending our brightest and best young football players to participate in this contest in Choudal, the same group of players that have participated in the Di Bradini Cup in Valanora. This should prove to be a great challenge for our young players as they are going up against the best players that the Melayu Archipelago has to offer. One thing of note though: the people of this world play football with eleven players, while here in the Island of the Lost we play our football with only seven players. Not only is this a challenge for our players but it is also a challenge for our coaches as they try to develop new tactics with dealing with eleven-a-side football teams.

Manager
Name: Husna Al-Amin
Age: 45
Husna Al-Amin is one of the fastest rising stars in the Lost football management scene. Her entire playing career was spent with her hometown team the Jafar City Cobras, and once she made the leap to management she also took charge of the Cobras' youth teams. In the previous season Husna was elevated to the position of manager of the senior team, and she led the Cobras to a strong campaign in the League of the Lost, winning the title by a single point over their closest rivals the Ursulopolis Eels. She has now been recruited by the Football Federation of the Lost in the hopes that she can turn the team into a competitive one in the Melayu Archipelago Cup.

Goalkeepers
#1: Shulem Ott (Cruellaville Hounds)
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Quite the skilled goalkeeper for his age group, actually. His slightly chubby appearance belies an athleticism the likes of which had never been seen before in the Island of the Lost. He has a problem with getting things organized at the back though, and will more often than not elect to do things himself rather than let the defense help him out.

#13: Arkadi Sobol (Dinamo Rasputinsk)
Age: 25
Gender: Male
The complete antithesis to Shulem Ott, Arkadi Sobol does not hesitate to yell at his defense to tell them where he wants them to be. It also has the side effect of him blaming his defense whenever something goes wrong.

#21: Kriemhilde Werner (Ursulopolis Eels)
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Kriemhilde, or Hilde for short, has impressed so far with the Eels' under-18 team, and she has the makings of being a great sweeper keeper in the future. She is not going to be played much in the Melayu Archipelago Cup though due to her age, but her experience training alongside players of an older age group should do her well.

Defenders
#2: Mayer Warren (Cruellaville Hounds)
Age: 23
Gender: Male
For a defender Mayer loves to get out in front and join the attack. He has an incredible right foot as well which he uses to produce crosses of the highest order. He is however fiercely strong-willed and independent and has been called "uncoachable" by many. He also has harsh words for any person who fails to get on the end of his crosses.

#3: Jacob Wheeler (Cruellaville Hounds)
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Loves to go on the attack as well, just like his teammate Mayer Warren. It's a wonder that the Hounds did so well in the Under-21 League of the Lost to just barely snatch at the title. At least he is more open to being coached, but he has begun to think that the under-21 level is beneath him.

#4: Julio Meza (Playa del Mal Royals)
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Julio is already a regular fixture for the Royals at the age of 21, something that does not happen often in the League of the Lost owing to its physical nature and style of play. He knows the job which he has been told to do, which is to defend, and he is intent on carrying out his responsibilities to the best of his abilities. Not a creative bone in his body though.

#5: Kendall Sessions (Port Maleficent Magic)
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Kendall will be tasked with the chance creations in this defense, with her job mostly being to lob the ball towards the forwards, but she can also chase down an opposing player barrelling down on goal if need be.

Sjoerd Baaiman (Cape Hook Pirates)
Age: 26
Gender: Male

Maja Larsen (Ursulopolis Eels)
Age: 22
Gender: Female

Fingall McNaughton (Ratcliffe Town A.F.C.)
Age: 25
Gender: Male

Líle MacNeil (Ratcliffe Town A.F.C.)
Age: 23
Gender: Female

Midfielders
#6: Evelyn Manzo (Playa del Mal Royals)
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Evelyn is right at home sitting just in front of the defense and cutting out chances into the box before they arrive there. Tactical fouls is her expertise, and this could cause her to get her name on the referee's notebook quite a few times.

#7 Aubin Segal (Mont Gaston Hunters)
Age: 22
Gender: Male
In the League of the Lost, Aubin would be very much a forward player. As things stand in eleven-a-side though, his skillset naturally gravitates him towards the winger position. He also knows how to bamboozle defending players with his fancy footwork before sending in thunder rockets at the goal.

#8 William Esteve (Cruellaville Hounds)
Age: 26
Gender: Male
William is very much a defensive midfielder by training, but on the occasion of his switching over to eleven-a-side football, he has become the midfielder who is used as an outlet by his teammates to get the ball moving forward. But also keep in mind that if Evelyn Manzo knows how and loves to make tackles, William just tackles willy-nilly, doubling or even tripling his chances of seeing yellow and red.

#11 Alexandra Robbins (Cruellaville Hounds)
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Not the fastest player out there but she does make up for it with the ability to cover the entire length of the field without so much as breaking a sweat. Alex also has a wicked good cross in her, and her free kick ability is nothing to be snorted at either.

Aurèle Legrand (Mont Gaston Hunters)
Age: 25
Gender: Male

Honorine Mathieu (Côte de Facilier Barons)
Age: 22
Gender: Female

Qamar Nagi (Jafar City Cobras)
Age: 23
Gender: Female

Oleg Popov (Dinamo Rasputinsk)
Age: 26
Gender: Male

Forwards
#9: Rylee Ross (Cruellaville Hounds)
Age: 23
Gender: Female
The honor of wearing the number 9 shirt goes to Rylee Ross, the primary goalscorer of the Hounds during their winning campaign in the Under-21 League of the Lost. Her secret lies in being always in the right place at the right time, whether it's for a cross into the box for a goal or a foul inside the box that results in a penalty for her team. Despite this though, she is very easy to get off the ball if she doesn't have a lot of support around her.

#10: Devin Randall (Cruellaville Hounds)
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Thus the task of holding up the ball goes to Rylee's teammate Devin Randall. If anything, it's about the only thing he knows to do going forward, but do not even think about getting in the way of the goal and a shot that's just come off of his left foot. You will surely regret it.

Elena Arreola (Playa del Mal Royals)
Age: 26
Gender: Female

Ryan Fonseca (Playa del Mal Royals)
Age: 25
Gender: Male

Our Projected Starting XI:

Kits
The kits of the Lost players have been decided by committee in an effort to not show any bias to any of the present football teams on the island. In the end, the committee decided to procure kits of alternating amber and black stripes with black shorts and black socks. If in the event that there is a kit clash then the team will hope to be able to procure alternate kits in time.

Greetings, compatriots! It’s TTV and me, Tiernes Riper. Together with FA CEO Torben Mortensen.

T.M.: Good evening, compatriots! It’s honor to serve you in such a capacity. And thanks for a huge positive vote in my recent civil service performance test.

T.R.: So, what you can tell us about Melayu Cup?

T.M.: Really tough battles was fought about that, I must admit. Right now it’s possible to publish results - 50 for and 43 against.

T.R.: And how you vote?

T.M.: I am vote for, national leader vote for and head coach also vote for. On the other hand, fans vote tally 12 “for” and 15 “against”.

T.R.: Looked like fans is really irritated and outburst of our news anchor in the recent tournament in Choudal is expressed sentiments of big part of our people.

T.M.: Outrageous outburst, we all must admit, but not without justification, we also must admit this too. Most recent tournament was really badly organized and conditions of the field was awful. If I see even one of such a things in my capacity as FA CEO even in the school football, there will be serious repercussions, but there we have a whole tournament in such mold and looked like no one care about that.

T.R.: This time how you find things at the spot?

T.M.: Accordingly to the head coach, this time things are rather good, significantly above average of world sport standards on the date. At last there was clear fixture with personalised team data, stadiums known beforehand and available for a training. This is not thing you often encounter in the world sport. As a CEO I must add, that due amenities for a fans exist, and there was a transparent formula for seeding teams.

T.R.: Many new faces in the team, as we see?

T.M.: Yes, this is the case. Our head coach take a lot of new and young, up-and-coming, players with him into Pemecutan, decide to try them in the battle. I am not one whom to ask about that, HC have it his way.

T.R.: Who are the people whom our lads meet on the field?

T.M.: This is not easy question. Most of the MC participants don’t play in the wider world competitions, but nevertheless we already meet Sharktail, Central Shaneville and Ziwana. The last one was first seed in our group. We play three times with them, with one defeat at the MC-5 and two victories in World Cup Qualifying. Probably they want to even with us. They are heavy favourites of the whole tournament, having won them already. As for others, we can only judge about their performance previously and guess everything else. Southern Palm Island was known to us as a place where tournament was held two years ago, and team lost to Ziwana quarterfinal at 4th MC. Libonesia and SPI shared group in 5th MC and both don’t made it into playoffs. In the 6th MC Zodis Ceres put decent performance on the group stage but don’t qualify, Libonesia lost in QF, SPI made it to the semifinal and put themselves on the fourth place overall. Accordingly to our information, Sendhang in debutant of the tournament. Not too much known about teams and players, all opponents bar SPI played softly and prefer not to publish something we can use.

T.R.: And you, probably, have something to say about fans?

T.M.: Yes, of course. I must urge you, compatriots, bring yourself to Pemecutan. Things like “it’s too distant” and “no, flights with three connections” inapplicable in this case; our country has good and long-established transport connections by “Trolleborg Wings” and “Tridatu”, and you can also fly into any other of countries in region to see more of it. I am consulted with Keith before interview, hard price for a roundtrip is 130 florins or 234 NSD. According to our statistical service, average salary in our country right now is 26000 florins or 49500 NSD, so whole trip is very cheap and anyway emotions of being in the tropical paradise can’t be measured in florins. Team needed you voice on the stadium, so I am urge you not to sit on your asses.

T.R.: Thanks for interview and hope soon see you again!

THE KINGDOM OF ERAMAN
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM

BASIC INFORMATION
Nation: The Kingdom of Eraman
Demonym: Eramanian
Style Modifier: 2
Formation: 4-1-2-3 DM Wide

Head Coach: Tun Sengalang Petara
Tun Sengalang Petara is the prime minister of Eraman, president of Eraman Football Association, owner of Royal Daulapura Football Club, and arguably the richest man in Melayu Archipelago. The CV gets longer and longer every day as he has now appointed himself as the head coach of Royal Daulapura Football Club.

Tun Sengalang Petara took over as the head coach of the national team half-way through the 85th World Cup qualifying campaign and notched a back-to-back victory straight away but failed to qualify after a defeat in the final match. He prefers his team to play with an attacking mindset and high pressing intensity. A long ball from the center back into empty space to find the quick trio upfront is his favorite play.

GOALKEEPER
GK: Dundang Bayan, 35, Royal Arupura
The veteran Royal Arupura goalkeeper is back to don the national team number 1 jersey after 4 years of absence. He is widely acknowledged as the best goalkeeper in the country but was dropped from the national team due to a dispute with the national football association. With no domestic football for a season, Tun Sengalang Petara had no choice but to re-call Dundang Bayan and some of the best footballers in the country he banned 6 years ago.

Bench:
GK, Yuyi Dunya, 27, Royal Cittapura
GK, Mikla Kala, 26, Royal Daulapura

DEFENDERS
DR: Lipas Kudung, 29, Royal Puncakpura
Lipas Kudung is a modern full-back who loves to get up and down the pitch for 90 minutes. His speed and ability to cross the ball are his main assets. Very good going forward but can be susceptible at the back. His eagerness to get forward sometimes left the back open.

DL: Cicak Kudung, 29, Royal Puncakpura
Cicak Kudung is Lipas Kudung's twin brother. The abilities and playing style of Lipas and Cicak is as identical as their face. The only down point of it is they are both right-footed. Cicak Kudung always supports the attack down the left flank but frequently had to cut in onto his favored right foot to hoist crosses into the box.

DC: Badang Gangsa, 34, Anara (Vice Captain)
The Anara captain has shown his leadership qualities after leading his club side to a back-to-back league title. The center back was nicknamed Gorilla for his strength and aerial prowess. With promising young center-back emerging around the country, this is probably going to be the last time Badang lead the back four.

DC: Anton Mora, 26, Royal Daulapura
The mass exodus of national team players from Royal Daulapura 4 years ago forced the club to rely on foreign players and youngsters. One of the youngsters who benefited from the incident is Anton Mora. He stepped up to the first team with flying colors. Composed and plays defense breaking long balls often.

Bench
DR, Feleti Arshis, 31, Damaisari
DL, Waka Sentri, 34, Royal Daulapura
DC, Isileli Hiva, 33, Damaisari
DC, Mahar Mina, 26, Royal Daulapura

MIDFIELDERS
DMC: Putra Daulapura Suara Petara, 32, Damaisari (Captain)
The national team will be led in the midfield by the prince of Eraman himself. The third son of Maharaja Nila Petara caused half of the national team to be banned with his transfer move from his uncle's club, Royal Daulapura to Damaisari on a free transfer. In retaliation, his uncle who is now the national team head coach banned him and his teammates from the national team. Left with no choice or better players, Tun Sengalang Petara decided to lift the ban and Suara Petara is now back with the captain armband after 4 years.

MC: Rimau Belang, 32, Royal Puncakpura
Rimau Belang is another domestic club captain in the national team. He led Royal Puncakpura to various championships in the past. Rimau Belang is deployed as defending midfielder for his club but is expected to play a more advanced role for the national team.

MC: Mano Bosa, 34, Anara
The veteran playmaker will be the main creative outlet for Eraman. The attack-minded center midfield has the most impressive passing range and passing accuracy in Liga Eraman for the past few seasons and is very deadly in a dead-ball situation. He is expected to be responsible for corner kicks, free kicks as well as penalty kicks.

Bench:
DMC, Kinta Biru, 26, Royal Daulapura
MC, Milo Kaulawi, 24, Royal Daulapura
MC, Karipa Senawang, 25, Royal Daulapura

FORWARD
AMR: Kilat Saputra, 30, Anara
Kilat Saputra formed a deadly attack for Anara in the league alongside his twin brother Kudrat Saputra. His main ability is his pace. His speed will keep his opponents afraid as he is able to beat defenders in a footrace.

AML: Kudrat Saputra, 30, Anara
Kudrat Saputra, much like his twin brother is very quick. The left inside forward will use his pace and flair on the ball to beat opponents and create scoring opportunities. Very hard-working and have an eye for goals.

ST: Buisan Buayan, 34 y/o, Damaisari
Buisan Buayan will be the focal point of Eraman's attack. He has shown a surprising amount of upper-body strength in the league which allowed him to shove defenders aside, creating room for him to show his skills and make things happen. He also has the ability to get into a great goalscoring position with his movement.

BENCH
AMR, Perda Nasar, 25, Royal Daulapura
AML, Era Hitam, 22, Royal Daulapura
ST, Putra Daulapura Wikra Petara, 22, Royal Daulapura

7th Melayu Cup Ziwana Roster

Postby Ziwana » Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:29 pm

The Ziwana Football Federation PRESENTS:

The AmaZiwana Football National Team to the 7th CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup

Image

When a house is built on sand it is easily swept away by storms but a house built on a rock withstands anything when the storms come. The Royal Ziwana Football Association (RZFA) which has lasted for a 100 years was not built on rock but on sand. AmaZiwana football has seemed to improve for many years with the introduction of the youth philosophy and quick attacking entertaining football. However these policies have not reached their full potential due to the corruption and unprofessionalism of the RZFA. The youth policy was meant to spot talents all over the country especially in impoverished areas. These talents would not only be trained to become future football stars but would also be educated so that if football failed they would have an alternative path. However this was not the case, officials in the RZFA would charge youth players to be in the youth program. Furthermore, the youth policies funds were embezzled by officials. The Akambuku the AmaZiwana national team have become reknown for the youth players that have successfully graduated from Academies, however most players have had to constantly pay officials to even play matches in the Academies, Senior Football Clubs and even the National Team. Following Ziwana's failure in the NS World Cup Qualifiers 86, the Anti-Corruption Bureau launched an investigation into the RZFA after irreularities in the national teams finances were noticed. The investigation uncovered deep corruption from the top to the bottom. The investigation found evidence of ; match fixing, embezzlment of funds and nepotism. The RZFA was suspended by the government after the revelations leading to Ziwana skiping the 6th CMFA Cup and the NSWC 87th Qualifiers. A meeting of all football stakeholders from State FA officials to District FA officials were called. In the meeting the RZFA and Royal Ziwana Football League were disbanded. The Ziwana Football Federation and the Ziwana Football League were founded and an election was set up to be held in the 13th month of the last year before the time reset. The Royal family were banned from interferring with AmaZiwana football, the Ngwazi and Prince were forced to step down as Chairpersons of Birnin Almalaki and Zote Malicky.

With the upcoming 7th Melayu Cup the ZFF and all Akambuku fans hope that the national team will perform well to open the new year after the time reset and the new era of AmaZiwana football.

SHARKTAIL POST EP 45
SFA official

Update, The Sharktail national team arrived safely at Ubung acceleration to face the MAC 7 competition. A total of 23 players and several officials were seen moving out of the airport to head to the hotel. Despite having a bit of a hard time attending the Acceleration, in the end everything went well and the players had arrived. From the original schedule, the players were supposed to arrive a few days ago, however due to the hazy conditions at Sharktail, international flights had to be canceled for several days. Sharktail players also need to undergo some health tests to prevent unwanted problems from occurring.

Despite arriving later than the other teams, the players were seen to be eager to give their full energy and strength. Sharktail who went down as the defending champion will receive a challenge from the two -time defending champion, Ziwana, the host team of Acceleration, the strong team of Eraman, and not to forget the destroyer, Acastanha. For Sahami, he is confident that his team will be able to beat all these teams. "As long as they stay focused and do as usual, I'm sure we can do it. This is not a place where we experiment, but here is a place where we are serious. If I want to try, I will arrange a friendly match. In a real tournament, it doesn't matter who our opponents are. even, everyone can defeat anyone. Mark that work properly ".

When asked to comment on his decision not to use the services of a winger as usual, Sahami replied he knew what he was doing and he was confident in the team’s ability. "There are times I will keep and there are times I need to change. Maybe we don't see immediate results, but confidence is important. I know with this change some regular names expected to be in the team are not called, but that's the reality of football. Dumping tactics "The football strategy out there is not made for fun. It's made for a reason, so I hope everyone calms down with this change".

The Sharktail team is seen to have started training at the Ubung training center in preparation for the opening game against Bucklin. Sharktail players should get acquainted immediately with the weather and conditions at Whip. Captain Sharktail, Gaby reminds his teammates not to be too proud of past achievements. "For me MAC 6 will continue to be the best memories of me and my friends, but for now, we forget about it for a while. For MAC 7, we open a new page because we will face new opponents. I am happy to still be trusted by the coach to continue to be in this team. My nature is almost exhausted. So for the end of inj career, I will give 200% commitment ". As for Sharktail’s young star, Azaim, he knows what the risks are to trying out a new formation or tactic. "My teammates and I are used to the original pattern of the game, so to adapt to the new pattern, I don't know how the outcome will be. It's just that my friends and I won't use this as an excuse to dodge or anything. Tactical mistakes may be obvious if we fail, but that's also our responsibility. Lose blame tactics, win, praise tactics. A game is not a measure of success and failure. All we have to do is improve, rise, strive, and show results. "

The Sharktail team will travel back and forth from Nilayam and Ubung to face group B competition which also contains Eraman's favorite, Giant Killer Acastanha, rising Otksarin, mystery Island of the lost and newcomer Bucklin. If Sharktail is able to surpass their rivals, Sharktail's chances of surviving a brilliant tournament are bright.

7th Melayu Cup Rp 1

Postby Ziwana » Tue Mar 16, 2021 12:33 am

Newly Elected Ziwana Football Federation President, Mr William Nyamilandu at the Stadiyamu ya AmaZiwana

Ladies and Gentlemen, goodevening. As Ziwana football begins its new era by competing in the 7th Melayu Archipelago Cup it is imperative that we begin on a good note by winning. This edition of the Melayu Cup will be the most challenging one. Teams such as Permecutan and Sharktail have performed so well on the multiverse stage that they have attracted more fans and sponsors. As such their level football on the club and national level has improved greatly. At the same time AmaZiwana football has regressed due to corruption, attendances have dropped and sponsors lost. Winning the Melayu Archipelgo will be the beginning of restoring AmaZiwana pride and football but as said before it won't be easy. The ZFF in its first few months has tried to help the Ziwana national team by maintaining the same squad that won the 5th Melayu Archipelago Cup and attracting commercial partners such as Orami Mkango Lager, BillTech and Futurebank. The Akambuku squad has also been working very hard in training and I believe the boys are ready to meet the challenge.

The ZFF has put in place a plan to become the best footballing Melayu Archipelago nation and a challenger of the NS World Cup in the next 6 years. The plan is as follows;
First Two Years: In the first two years the ZFF plans on fully professionalising and commercialising the Ziwana Football League. This will be done by auditing clubs to root out corruption, encouraging clubs to seek out sponsors and increasing the funding of the ZFL and the Ziwana Development League. The ZFF and its sponsorship partners will work hand in hand in attracting football lovers to the ZFL by running competitions and promotions. The ZFF has put in place the philosophies of fast attacking football, youth development and club financial sustainability which all clubs will have to adhere to inorder to maintain their ZFL club license.
Second Two Years: By the third year AmaZiwana clubs should have reached the IFCF Champions League Group Stage and won the CMFA Champions League. The Ziwana national team should have become the dominant team in the Melayu Cup and working towards finishing in 4th and 3rd place in the NS World Cup Qualifiers. In the fourth year the Ziwana national team will work towards reaching the the Cup of Harmony Semi-Finals.
Third Two Years: By the Fifth year Ziwana should have won the Cup of Harmony and qualified for the NS World Cup Finals. In this stage Ziwana will work towards becoming a regular NS World Cup Finals Group stage regular before working on reaching the other stages of the NS World Cup Finals.
Ladies and Gentlemen 6 years is very small for such a project, however I believe that our nation has the power, confidence and courage to make this happen. We are nation of warriors and champions and

Otksarin's 23-player squad for 7th MAC

Where is Otksarin?
If you are unfamiliar with the structure of our Isles, Otksarin is a member state of The Gothanita Isles, a Confederation comprising of 4 member states in their respective regions, and these member states submit their respective teams for their respective regional competitions. For Otksarin, a state based in the region of Melayu Archipelago, they would have a state representative team playing in the Melayu Archipelango Cup.

About the players
To allow us to make things simple, all players listed come from Otksarin clubs unless otherwise stated. 3 goalkeepers were picked for this tournament, as seen below:
Goalkeepers
#1 - Fikri Hüseynov, 38 (M) - GK - Bongali United
#12 - Seo-Yun Gage, 28 (M) - GK - Alor Hangor FC
#23 - Pleasance Jankovics, 26 (F) - GK - Manclester United (South Jeolerina)

Fikri Hüseynov is an excellent first choice keeper, show casing some experience in goal and ability to put in long-range clearance. This is likely to be the player's last MAC. Seo-Yun Gage has established himself as the second choice, while Jankovics is a backup, who has shown some potential in her understudy journey in Manclester United.
Defenders
#2 - Şahin Tawfeek, 35 (M) - CB/RB - Alor Hangor FC
#3 - Abd al-Wali Darzi, 27 (M) - CB/LB - Alor Hangor FC
#4 - Abu Bakr Ekmekçi, 33 (M) - CB - Bongali United (Vice-captain)
#5 - Saif al-Din Kartal, 32 (M) - CB - Bongali United

#13 - Miray Gevorgian, 30 (M) - RB - Royal Tyakrita FC
#14 - Inaya Baghdasaryan, 28 (F) - LB - Hangshire FC (South Jeolerina)
#15 - Payam Hakim, 25 (M) - CB - Alor Hangor FC
#16 - Alperen El-Ghazzawy, 26 (M) - CB/DCM - Bongali United

The flexibility with both starting right-backs mean that there is an easy switch to 3-4-3, which is a formation this side can play. al-Wali Darzi and Tawfeek are partners in Alor Hangor FC, and their "experienced leading the quick" partnership has shown some wonders. Ekmekçi and al-Din Kartal are the other 2 experienced center back, who are also a partnership of defence to look out for.
Midfielders
#6 - Erkin Aksoy, 34 (M) - DCM/CB - Bongali United
#8 - Bulut Okafor, 25 (F) - LW/LM/CF - Holy Kangarsta FF (South Jeolerina)
#11 - Maqsud Kevorkian, 35 (M) - RM/RW - Alor Hangor FC
#7 - Raheem Al-Hashim , 32 (M) - ACM/CM - Royal Tyakrita FC (Free Kick Taker)

#17 - Sa'dia Mataracı, 30 (M) - CM/DCM - Bongali United
#19 - Imtiyaz Bedrosian, 30 (M) - LM/LW - Tyakrita United
#22 - Nizar Muhammad, 32 (M) - RM/RB - Tyakrita United
#18 - Farrokh Karimi, 26 (M) - ACM/CF - Bongali United

Whether this is 4-1-2-1-2, or 4-3-3, or 3-4-3, this midfield can take them all. A mix of players approaching their peak, as well as young stars like Karimi and Okafor round up this list. The midfielders all share a characteristic of being good ball handlers, with Al-Hashim probably one of the best creative midfielders in the Isles.
Forwards
#9 - Abdelkader Kartal, 29 (M) - CF - Bongali United (Captain, Penalty Taker)
#10 - Salwah Sadık, 35 (M) - CF - Bongali United

#20 - Qamar Abdullayev, 36 (M) - CF/ACM - Alor Hangor FC
#21 - Setiawan Darzi, 26 (F) - CF/ACM - Bongali United

Bongali United, champions of the 23rd Gothanitan Football League, produces the best strikers, and it is no surprise that 3 of their players made the cut. Kartal, vice-captain of Bongali United, takes his undisputed spot at the front together with his partner Sadık, with their understudy Darzi also here to show his talents.

Manager Jocob Hakarin, 66, will once again be in charge of the Otksarin national team. His playing style reflects a general trend among teams from the Isles, which is an emphasis on defence over attack. The priorities are to prevent the opponent to score, and go for counter-attacks. However, due to a Otksarin weakness in defence, generally most of the play is on keeping ball with the midfield rather than the defence, which explains why this team plays with a rather high backline. The team has an advantage in terms of creating fast players, zipping around easily to get into space. Otksarin also produces really good strikers who tear into opponents defence really easily, and this is why despite the emphasis on defence and keeping clean sheets, the strategy is more balanced then it actually is.

Demonym: Gothanitan (Referring to people of the Gothanita Isles in general); Otksars (Refering to people of Otksarin)
Style Mod: -0.987
Formations: 4-1-2-1-2 (Standard), 3-4-3/4-3-3 (Alternates)
I give permission for opponents to:

Greetings, compatriots! It’s TTV with a report from Pemecutan.
Right now we summarize first game of our national football team in the new season. Of course, it was not so easy for our lads to play in a distant country with a peculiar climate against opponents who are accustomed to it and from whom it is not clear what to expect, because Zodis Ceres did not even publish a lineup. The battle between the lion and the dragon - since they have a lion on their flag, we have a dragon – proceeded in quite fast pace, very lively, with the advantage of our team.

Many had questions about the formation that our head coach use, with three defenders strictly behind and five midfielders, known by their affinity to play near the opponents gates. However, as it turned out, the tactics were chosen correctly, and the opponents could not find the key to the defense lock. Although it is impossible to draw full-fledged conclusions from one game, it should be noted that for once our team left the field without conceding goals.

It seemed, however, that there are too many midfielders and forwards for a sensible and high-quality game, and not all of them have already established mutual understanding. Often there were more people near the ball than the situation required, and from time to time the players unintentionally interfered with each other. Therefore, attacks of our team looked somewhat chaotic, for quite a long time it was not possible to open score, and then our lads not succeed to consolidate the success with another goal. However, the head coach knows better, and he will probably draw conclusions and give orders as needed.

The only goal was scored by Severin, seizing the moment when the defenders lost their guard. An excellent long-range pass from Kolding, who drawing attention to itself on the flank, cleverly disoriented opponents, followed, and our striker just had to hit the ball properly. To our delight, that's exactly what he did.

It was the least productive match of the tournament, but I am sure that we all prefer 1:0 than 7:11 or 4:6. In the rest of our group's matches, Libonesia and SPI provided a scoring extravaganza in the usual MC style, while Ziwana take only one points in the game with newbies.

Ziwana is our next opponent, our old friends from the BoF-71 class, it is the most eminent team of the tournament. Just like two years ago, the team started the tournament with a draw against the underdogs, and we again have to face them when they need a victory, especially in light of the announced ambitious plan for the development of football in Ziwana, the fulfillment of which has just begun. All in all, it will be tough battle.

ISLAND OF THE LOST - 2

"We are the Island of the Lost. We are scoundrels. We are liars. We are thieves. We are the scum of the earth. We have been sent here both for our own safety and for the safety of the world outside. This barrier protects the world from us, and us from the world. This is our home. This is where we will stay for the rest of our lives."

My name is Helen Josephus, and I think it's fair to say that I've ruined my life before it's even really begun.

I don't know who my parents are. My first memory is being in a small bare bed with only a life-sized teddy bears for company, and I remember thinking that that bear was both my daddy and my mommy. The man whom I call dad is Joseph Saint-Marie, and he used to work for the orphanage where I was left behind, and when that orphanage closed Joseph decided to bring me back home with him. He never "officially" adopted me, which is why our surnames are different, but Joseph still found a way to give his name to me. Just look at my surname. If that wasn't a dead giveaway then I don't know what is.

So you could say that I had all the makings of being a potential problem child, but it didn't really happen like that. At least not when I was young. But once I was in my teens and drank my first beer, I was just hooked to the stuff. And I never thought that it was anything serious until I started using my pocket money to buy more beer, and then that escalated into me actually stealing cash from Joseph's wallet. Things finally came to a head when I was literally caught by someone else trying to break into my dad's car to get to the money I knew was stashed inside the glove box. I didn't react kindly to the police trying to haul me away, or at least that was what I was told, because I sincerely don't remember anything that happened that day.

I was forced to dry out in juvie, and part of the process was taking part in all sorts of activities such as sports and arts and crafts to make our minds focus on something else. I started playing football there, and it was also there that I discovered that I actually had a talent for it. So much so that I actually caught the eye of the biggest football club in our area, the Cote du Facilier Barons. Once I was out of juvie, the Barons invited me for a trial, and of course I accepted. This is the Barons of Cote du Facilier we're talking about here, after all. They may not be the biggest or best club but they're still playing in the League of the Lost, the top level of football here in the Island of the Lost. You don't just say no to that kind of opportunity. And it was a pathway for me to recover from my alcoholism, so that was an added benefit as well. And for a few years, I thought that I had actually recovered.

Then I started getting injuries left and right. It started off as just me banging up my knee, and from the start it was just that. Then I started drinking again while on the mend, and I don't really know if it had an effect on how my knee healed itself, but it was definitely where my problems started. My knee healed, and I was able to return to the pitch for another week or so before I busted it up again, and then it eventually turned into a history of chronic leg problems from my knee to my ankle that kept me off the pitch for longer and longer periods of time. When it got to the point where I was sidelined for a whole year, the physio just straight up told me that the only way that I was going to be able to stop this whole cycle was to hang up my boots. Well, that and to stop drinking. And for some reason, my stupid ass just said, "That's it, I'm retiring." Kinda stupid in hindsight, but then again, what isn't stupid with the benefit of hindsight?

Credit to the club though, they took my decision in stride. They did offer me a place as a coach in the youth academy, but I didn't agree to it, at first. I reasoned that some time away from football as a whole would do me some good before I even thought about coming back. And guess what I did during that time? Yep, I drowned my sorrows and frustrations in drink. It was the only thing I knew how to do, other than football itself. I just wanted to cry at what I saw as a waste. I didn't even know if it was my fault or not; I just wanted to play again, even though I knew that doing that could possibly ruin my legs forever.

But if there was one positive that I was able to draw from this whole experience, it's the fact that I finally managed to find out who my real friends are. I got to know a lot of so-called "friends" during the time that I was an up-and-rising football star for the Barons, but then once they found out that I had decided to retire for medical reasons, these "friends" slowly but surely started to disappear once it became clear that I was going to be nothing more than just another "what could have been" story. But there were a few who stayed by my side through it all. Sure, they weren't a lot, but I would always prefer to have a few real friends rather than lots of fake friends.

And it was these real friends who gave me both the strength and the courage to come back to the Barons and accept the offer that they had given me about becoming part of the youth academy's coaching staff. I knew that I couldn't let my talent go to waste just like that, and the club knew it as well. It wasn't exactly a match made in heaven, but it was definitely an arrangement which benefits both parties. I already knew many of the young players coming through our academy during the five or so years I spent with the Barons so I was able to hit the ground running, metaphorically speaking. And the kids were more likely to listen to someone who was closer to their age than many of the other coaches in the club, who were aged between 30 and 50. I think that was the main reason why the Barons wanted to keep me at the club, even as just an assistant to an assistant coach, because I had a very close link to the boys and girls in the academy.

But now things were changing. After finishing dead last in the League of the Lost, the Barons decided to fire their old manager and bring in a new one. Alaric Henderson was a young and hip manager hailing from the lower semi-professional tier of football in the Island of the Lost. He had caught the eye of many clubs nationwide with his results for a semi-pro side right here in Cote du Facilier, I can't remember the name of the team. But I do know that the Barons managed to convince him to take on the project of getting them off of the foot of the League of the Lost. And one of the ways that he was going to do that was to completely overhaul the club's staff and get rid of the old coaching staff to make way for his own staff. And I was part of that staff that he was about to make redundant.

I had planned on making a case for myself in front of Alaric to ask him to reconsider firing me (well, the plan was to ask, but if necessary I was willing to beg), but my plan had gone off the rails thanks to nothing other than my drinking problem. Instead of being in Alaric's office asking him to think about the consequences of firing me (and maybe some of the other coaches) I was still in my apartment, sleeping off another hangover, and I probably wouldn't have gotten up for the rest of the day had I not had a visitor.

"Who's there?" I asked in my alcohol-addled stupor when I somehow managed to hear the door opening.

"It's Betty," a female voice replied. I then managed to open my eyes and recognize that the person speaking was indeed someone I knew. She was Bethany Henderson, or Betty for short. And, as you guessed by her surname, she's the daughter of Alaric Henderson. She was three years younger than me (she was 18 and I was 21) but she had been with the Barons for almost her whole life. In fact, the Barons were goddamn lucky that she stuck with them for much of her formative years at football. Do you know how there are just certain players who are so good at even a young age that you just know that they're going to tear up any league they happen to play in? Well, Betty Henderson happens to be one such player. In fact, some of the older coaches have compared her skills to mine, and because of that Betty decided that I was going to be her mentor and she my student.

"Helen, what the hell are you doing still sleeping?" Betty asked once she saw me laid out on my couch. "You're supposed to be telling my dad all the reasons he can't fire you from the academy!"

"Yeah, about that..." I slurred.

"You know, this is exactly why my dad wants to fire you," Betty said. "He knows all about your... problem. The other coaches might have let that slide because it's not affecting you much apart from turning up late sometimes, but not my dad. And he's got the club's ear. All he needs is to see you like this and he'll tell them to cut you, and they'll do it. You know they will, Helen. We both know they will."

"What do you want me to do, girl?" I asked her. "Do you really expect me to go to your dad right now, in this state, and ask him, 'Please, sir, can I keep my job?'"

"That's why you're not going there alone, Helen," Betty told me. "I'm coming with you. I'm gonna vouch for you being a good coach to my own father. Because you are, Helen. You are a good coach. Not just to me but to everyone else in the academy. That's why I've got some other guys to vouch for you with me."

"Who exactly are you talking about, Betty?"

"You know. Andy and Diana," Betty replied, referring to two of the friends she had at the academy.

"Are you sure that that's going to work? Because I also heard that your father is planning on cutting down the academy's numbers as well," I said with a hint of skepticism.

"Look, what I'm trying to say is that everyone at the academy is not going to let you be let go so easily," Betty said. "We're going to fight to keep you there. And if Dad still wants to cut you, then I'm going to tell him that he's going to have to cut me as well."

"Jesus, Betty," I muttered. "Isn't that a bit drastic, don't you think?"

"Don't worry about it, Helen," Betty assured me with a wink. "I'm his daughter. And he also thinks I'm the future of the Barons. He's going to do everything to keep me here. And he'll do everything I want to make sure that happens."

"We are the Island of the Lost. We are sons, we are daughters, we are brothers, we are sisters. We are fathers and we are mothers. We will fight for what we have and for what others have. We are the Lost. We were here before and we will still be here after. We will fight for what is ours because it is our right to fight for it, and we will fight for others because it is their right to be fought for."

CENTRAL SHANEVILLE "TAKE HOSTS TOO LIMIT"
Well if Central Shaneville hadn't proved themselves as a potential threat to any of the teams in their group last night in Federal City, they definitely put them on notice as Central Shaneville was involved in what, to some, seemed like a very physical battle with the hosts Pemecutan as the fans of both sides went wild around the ground.

An even game from start to finish saw the hosts edge ahead whilst Central Shaneville had to re-think their strategy heading into half time with controversial manager Jay Bucks giving his people a positive pep talk (which is rare considering Bucks likes to shout alot especially when losing) which made the Central Shaneville players very confused as they was likely expecting a shouting at - yet this pep talk seemingly worked with the green and blue of Central Shaneville's strikeforce (David Vujanic and Josh Smith) firing in 2 goals with Smith's shot described by some fans as a "rocket that may have broken the net."

The hosts were phased for a good 5 minutes following this resurgence by Central Shaneville but it wasn't to be as Arya Tungga Wijaya made his presence felt in the inexperienced Central Shaneville defense as Lewis Young made a mistake in the box which caused the hosts to lead 3-2 in the 71st minute and despite many attempts from Vujanic and Smith and all the tension in the arena at the time, the hosts managed to win with the home fans going crazy and Central Shaneville manager Jay Bucks looking despondent on the touchline but not in the usual "we just lost" way he usually is as the Shaneville Sports Association's words from earlier in the week seemingly echoed in his mind.

He eventually snapped out of it though and congratulated Pemecutan's manager and even personally congratulated Pemecutan's players (a first for Bucks) before clapping the fans however the Central Shaneville players and fans are not convinced at this "nice guy" act from their manager as they know from previous tournaments how toxic he can be.
