Greetings football-playing nations of the NS Multiverse!
The Incorporated Football Federation once again invites nations to submit teams of your seasoned footballers, weekend warriors, anyone, so long as your team consists of players over the age of 35*!
The NS World Cup of Masters is patterned somewhat on the RL World Cup of Masters, which was itself a tournament for national teams consisting of over-35 players. There are a few allowances the RL tournament had for its older players, one of them being that knockout round matches would go directly to penalties if they were level at full time.
Depending on the number of countries who sign up, the group stages are expected to take place in your home countries with the knockout rounds taking place in Sarzonia. The championship final will take place at the venerable Dave Wilson Stadium in Woodstock.
Sarzonia won the first NS World Cup of Masters and Kriegiersien won the second. Will YOUR nation be next?
*Obviously, if your country uses a different measure of time to denote "senior" players, you can use that as long as you notify me of its equivalence to the RL measure of 35 years old.
