Introduction

Welcome to the seventh edition of The CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup. The CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup is the most prestigious football championship in the region of Melayu Archipelago. The championship is organized and managed by the regional football confederation named Confederation of Melayu Football Associations (CMFA).

Participation

Any nations who want to participate in the championship must first be an active member of the CMFA and membership to the CMFA is limited to Melayu Archipelago nations only unless otherwise notified. Continuing tradition, Trolleborg will receive an invite as a pre-invited nation to the Melayu Archipelago Cup.

Sign up for the championship in this thread. Submit your host bid in this thread too if you wish to host the tournament. Hosting shall be determined by a host bid vote, those wishing to host should be well-versed in Xkoranate. A tournament like this serves as an excellent launching point for those wishing to get into hosting.

The CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup is the most prestigious football championship in the region of Melayu Archipelago and has a considerable high selling power with the championship expected to be broadcasted in at least 32 nations and draw millions of viewers.

CMFA is open to all Melayu Archipelago and non-Melayu Archipelago companies who are interested to establish a partnership and sponsorship agreement with us. We are open to establishing relationships with all types of companies except drugs, tobacco, weapons, and alcohol brand.

Official Statement

"As a part of Melayu Archipelago, we are trying our best to engage in any event that held by the region. And as a Football Association itself, we are eagerly joined in the event that sanction by Confederation Malaya de Football Association or CMFA as the official governing body for association football in Melayu Archipelago.

We have delivered our intention to join in the 7^th CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup as a contender, the upcoming event for men's national football team in Melayu Archipelago. And once again, we encourage ourselves to deliver our hosting bid for the event. It is our third times to join in the bidding process of Melayu Archipelago Cup after in the two previous edition we lost to Eraman and former sovereign country, Soracana Islands. We hope that the CMFA will consider our hosting bid for this edition."

"I am very delighted after the Chief Executive of Pemecutan Football Association, Mr. I Gede Dwipa Mahardika, acknowledge me about the upcoming event of Melayu Archipelago Cup. Realizing our previous record as finalist, I have no doubt when Mr. Mahardika told me that our national football team will enter again for the upcoming event. But Mr. Mahardika also eagerly asked me about our nation becoming the host of the event. Of course I am very delighted with the idea. And as the fact that we also bid for hosting rights in some previous edition, we believe we can make a better preparation this time.

Herewith, we wants to acknowledge the CMFA Officials that the Government of Pemecutan is giving permission for Pemecutan Football Association to bid for hosting rights of 7^th Melayu Archipelago Cup. And The Government of Pemecutan is giving its full support, physically, mentally and financially to PFA for this edition hosting bid.

United Kingdom of Pemecutan

General Information

Pemecutan or officially United Kingdom of Pemecutan is a mid-size country that located in the central part of Melayu Archipelago with a land are around 30,000 km² and a population of 12.6 millions. Football have been one of the most popular sports in the country. The sport was introduced by British when the country was under their administration. Pemecutan itself was not established until 1966 when Giri Federation was merge with State of Kanginan. Pemecutan Football Association (PFA) was then established in 1968 by merging Giri Football Association and Kanginan Association of Football. Although their status are deemed equal under PFA, but the reality was different. PFA was only recognized Giri's football league as their clubs are considered more professional than that of Kanginan. This situation makes Kanginan's clubs were being left behind. The change is made in late 2019 as PFA decided to give Kanginan's clubs a chance. The previous PFA Eka League and the lower leagues are being merge with KAF Surya League to create Kasa League, the new Pemecutan top level domestic league. The 1780 Kasa League is the inaugural season of the new league with Pesetih Titih as the champion. Kanginan's club, Parsewi Mengwi is manage at fourth position, giving their a place in IFCF and CMFA competition. With the recent addition of Soracana Islands into the country, a slight change is undergo with the addition of 2 Soracanian clubs in the top level of Pemecutan football league.

At national level, Pemecutan joined their international competition at 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup. In their first competition, they were managed to finished as semifinalist. They continued to go through final four in the next 3 editions. Their latest submission at 6th Melayu Archipelago Cup give them the runner up title. In international stage, they were entering 73rd Baptism of Fire where they were stuck in the Group Stage. They were also only finished in the Group Stage of the two World Cup editions that they are entered. Their luck is better in Games of XIV Olympiad, where they were losing up in Round of 16. Aside from Melayu Archipelago Cup, they will also compete in I Games of The Melayu Olympiad.

Format and Scorination
As the sign up process is still ongoing so we still don't know the exact number of participants of the current edition Melayu Archipelago Cup. But we provide the possibilities of the Group Stage drawing;

14 entrants, 2 Groups of 7. Top 4 in each Group advance to Knockout Stage
16 entrants, 4 Groups of 4. Top 2 of each Group advance to Knockout Stage
18 entrants, 3 Groups of 6. Top 2 of each Group advance to Knockout Stage together with 2 best third place.
20 entrants, 4 Groups of 5. Top 2 of each Group advance to Knockout Stage

The tiebreaker system for the Group Stage are as follows;

For scorination will be use xkoranate (v0.3.3) with NSFS formula and Skill Range between -5 to +5. RP Bonus will be given accordingly with points ranging from 0 to 1 with 1 being the most creative RP.

For hosting the 7th Melayu Archipelago Cup, Pemecutan Football Association is hereby selected 4 main stadiums and 2 reserve stadiums for the competition. The stadiums are as follows;

Aside from the 6 stadiums above, PFA Officials will also provide several venues as the training facilities for every participants in the competition. 20 football fields are prepared as training facilities.

Transportation and Accommodation

The participants can get into Pemecutan via air for ease of transportation. Each cities which become the host are connected by an international airport. Puri International Airport in Pemecutan Puri, Ubung-Satria International Airport in Ubung, Mengwi International Airport in Mengwi and Nilayam International Airport in Nilayam. The officials will also provided each participants a charter bus to ease them getting around the city and also to the venues and back at their accommodation. For accommodation, PFA officials is in cooperation with UBJ Hotels and Kama Hotel Group to provide the athletes and their officials a great experience during their stay in Pemecutan. Each delegation will have their own hotel accommodation. Meals are also provided and included in the hotel accommodation. But the athletes still can experience a culinary taste of Pemecutan outside their accommodation. Their tour guide will provide them with information regarding place to visits and place to eat or dine if they want to explore the city. Tridatu Airways will provide a flight service for delegation who needs to travel across the country during the knockout stage.
