uni·q reveals new Istoreya kits

Today, uni·q was proud to reveal the new kits for the national team of Istoreya.

"We're always happy to welcome a new national team to the uni·q family," chief executive officer Ibilx-Irtix Ono began. "uni·q isn't just about the powerful, well-established footballing nations. It's also about the underdogs. It's about the team that's counted out today that'll become a footballing power tomorrow. I think Qusmo's national team was always a bit of an underdog, & I think of uni·q much the same way, but we've had plenty of successes no one would have realistically expected when we started. & I think Istoreya has the potential to follow in that path."

"These kits are clean & crisp. They're actually our first time doing stripes, following our success with Saltstead's hoops, & I think the bi-colour elements work well here, too," remarked director of market expansion Flonz-Gerol Den, who served as uni·q's point-of-contact for the Istoreyan Football Association throughout the design process.

uni·q chief marketing officer Otoln-Prant Ezi continued by taking a peek into that process. "We were trepidatious about changing Istoreya's traditional olive-&-white main kit to an olive-&-grey, but we really think it works very well, especially given the context of the design as a whole. We also think it compliments the national flag quite nicely, & we hope this look can become the new tradition. We also added the inscription 'Ignala Iguanas · Ignala Saura' to the collars, to pay respect to members of both the male & female national teams. As Qusmi'y, we take gender expression & equity very seriously, & if national teams inclusive of other genders existed, of course we would have been honoured to feature them on these kits, too."

"Istoreya is not just a New West Indies phenomenon anymore," uni·q chief financial officer Karar-Falax Zev claimed. "That's where the team has gotten their start, but they'll soon be all over the Multiverse. & in these kits, we're confident they won't be forgotten by anyone anytime soon."

uni·q reveals new Québec kits

Today, uni·q was proud to reveal the new kits for the national team of Québec.

"This may be a bit of déja vù," admitted chief executive officer Ibilx-Irtix Ono. "Québec's already a member of the uni·q family; in fact, they were the very first nation to sign with us, & for that, we're honoured. But our technology has gotten even better since they became the first national team in the Multiverse to wear the uni·q mark. & as a result, it's only fitting that we update their kits, as well."

"These kits are just as stunning as before, & from a performance standpoint, they're better than ever," raved director of portfolio management Ulutu-Xilit Orz, who served as uni·q's point-of-contact for the Royal Quebecois Football Association throughout the design process. "In truth, the actual design edits were minimal," uni·q chief development officer Nirlo-Zaxac Rax explained. "But in terms of the performance of the material, it's a massive deal, especially for athletes competing at the very highest level. The principal change for the gen·ii kits is the introduction of our exclusive insta·cool technology. With that enhancement, our kits are able to wick away moisture much more quickly, which helps ensure these players will perform at their best for longer."

uni·q has specific rules for submitting kit requests. You violated both of the first two, which happen to be the most important ones. You have not RPed as Deniria, & you have already submitted a currently-active kit & crest design request to a competitor. Both these rules are about basic respect for designers: there's no reason for me to dedicate my free time designing a team's crest & kits when that user hasn't done the same to RP for their own nation, & there's no reason to waste multiple designers' time by asking multiple people for multiple designs within days of each other. We're not paid designers; we're offering free labor. I can't speak for others, but personally, what I ask for in return for my designs is respect, for my time, my effort, & my labour. I don't believe this request is respectful. As a result, uni·q will not be designing Deniria's kits. I hope you participate in NSS more fully, more actively, & above all, more respectfully in the future.

I try to keep as much of this thread IC as I reasonably can, but I'm afraid you may not have seen my response to your other puppet earlier when I put my OOC message to you behind a spoiler. I'd urge you to read that message, as I continue to stand by it, & I really think you need to hear it. Of this nation's seven posts thus far, five are requests for other people to make content for you, & none are RPs — that is to say, content you yourself created. Why should I pour my time & energy into creating something for your nation when you're not willing to do the same?

I'm not getting paid for this work, I'm not building a résumé, & I'm not gaining exposure. I do uni·q because I enjoy this community, & I want to give back how I can; I do it because I want to help other people more fully immerse themselves in the worlds they've created for themselves; & I do it because it's fun for me &, hopefully, for who I'm working with. If you keep requesting kits without bothering to RP, it doesn't fulfill any of that for me. Instead, I feel you're disrespecting both me & the community at large.

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't read my previous response, but I do want this message to make it clear now if it wasn't already before: I have rules & standards, & I have them for a reason. If you want to ask me to do work for you, I ask that you follow those rules & meet those standards. If you do not meet those requests of mine, I will not meet the design requests of yours.
