The Nationstates Private Military Company Guild, (or The Guild for short), has been awarded the contract - and the privilege - to be the official security provider for the Baptism of Fire & Ice 74 Tournament, specifically for the nation of Sylestone.
As a result, the various companies involved of which the Guild is comprised of, will be providing comprehensive security at all the matches being played within the tropical nation of Sylestone, for the duration of the tournament.
Additionally, the proud and vigilant professionals of the Guild will be offering their services to the national teams who will be visiting the nation in question, as well as any individual who requires our professional services.

Services Rendered:
EVENT SECURITY
The Guild will be in charge of providing a full range of security services covering all the selected hosting stadiums, during all scheduled match days. This will be the primary task of the Guild for the duration of the tournament.
The health and safety of all the stadium attendees and national teams will be the first priority of the Guild, during all stages of the match, whilst also performing access control, keeping enraged fans off the field, and offering medical care in the case of an unforeseen emergency.
For the day on which the actual matches will be played, the Guild will deploy a multi-tiered security layer to ensure that all potential risks to the health and safety of all in attendance is minimised to the greatest possible extent.
Outer Perimeter
A security net will cover a 10 kilometre, 360 degree radius, surrounding the stadium on match day, which will be under constant surveillance by undercover observation posts and surveillance drones. This will serve the purpose of detecting any potential threats to the health and safety of the citizens and teams, before any such threat reaches the stadium proper.
Furthermore, an Outer Perimeter Control Room will be established, with the aim of maintaining close and constant contact with the host city's emergency, law enforcement and air traffic control services, to ensure that any problems, potential problems and emergencies are handled in a swift and efficient manner. This will also be helpful in controlling traffic, to ensure that the arrival of the involved teams take place without any hindrance. In the absence of any response or lack of assets from local first responders and law enforcement, The Guild will assume emergency traffic duties.
Access Security
All entry points into the stadium will be manned by the officials, who will employ walk-through X-Ray Machines and walk-through metal detectors. Each gate will also be manned by a canine sniffer team, specifically trained to detect weapons, narcotics and explosives.
Furthermore, a state of the art facial recognition system will be deployed, which will scan every person entering through the gates, which is linked to a central criminal database of both the host nation and other international databases. This will ensure that the security detail immediately becomes aware of any persons of interest, before they are allowed entry to the stadium.
The entire perimeter fence will also be under constant surveillance, by means of erected CCTV and manned patrols, accompanied by canine teams.
Internal Security
The security team will sweep the entire stadium for any potentially hidden weapons or explosives, prior to the arrival of the crowds.
During the match, crowd control specialists will be deployed to ensure that no person gains access to the field, either from the podium or from the tunnel.
Furthermore, a team of officials will be stationed within the bowels of the stadium, to ensure the absolute safety of the teams present, and their allocated facilities.
A specialist tactical team will also be present within the stadium, remaining hidden, but prepared to deal with any possible security breaches. This team is qualified and experienced in dealing with acts of terror, hostage situations, and other high risk scenarios.
Lastly, a specialised Riot Control team will remain stationed within the stadium, trained and equipped with all the required resources to deal with possible stampedes, should it occur.
A control room will be established within the bowels of the stadium, who will liaise, coordinate and control all tiers of security assets. This control room will also contain a medical outpost, stationed with medical doctors and medics, in order to deal with any possible medical emergency which might arise.
A further undisclosed amount of QRFs (Quick Response Forces) will be stationed in the city, ready to rush where needed to reinforce static security at all the event sites. They will utilize armored vehicles and air assets to bring brute, precision force to any organized hostile threats.
Keys to Success
In order to ensure the absolute and unquestionable protection of the health and safety of all attendees, the Guild employs the following key principles during the planning and execution of the security of the events:
- Quality Personnel
Even though digital technology continues to advance, the Guild firmly believes that well trained and experienced security officers still remain the biggest line of defense against security threats. Our organisation believes that continued and updated training is the foundation of stadium safety - and lives and breaths this motto when preparing its employees.
- Quality Equipment
Taking advantage of the available modern technology, the Guild employs the latest and most reliable equipment during the execution of its tasks. The organisation employs equipment which have been "battle tested" - proven to be effective and reliable in real world situations. The organisation employs walkthrough metal detectors; walkthrough X Ray Machines; Closed Circuit Surveillance Systems; Surveillance Drones; Facial Recognition Software; Riot Equipment; a variety of Non Lethal Weapons; a variety of Lethal Weapons; Communication Systems and medical equipment, amongst others.
- The Zone Approach
For stadium security, a uniquely formulated "Zone Approach" is employed, providing resources and separate action plans for the outside perimeter, stadium access, and stadium proper.
This approach ensures that each area of the stadium is covered against potential threats, equipped to be dealt with in an unique and effective manner. This allows the organisation to plan for, and deal with, the largest possible range of threats, whilst maintaining its plans and control over the situation at all times.
- Proper Planning.
The Guild understands that whilst acts of terror is surely the gravest of potential threats, it is not the only possible danger to the health and safety of the attendees. Thus, detailed plans are drafted and drilled prior to the event, tailored uniquely for each individual stadium.
A few examples of events which are planned for include acts of terror (bomb attacks, chemical attacks, biological attacks, assaults, hostage situations, air attacks), stampedes, natural disasters and infrastructure failure.
In summary, the Guild will deploy the finest men and women, technology and ever evolving doctrine in the business, to render world class security services to all the stadiums and match days of the Tournament.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES: ACCOMMODATION SECURITY
Although the Guild is only contracted by the host nation to render its security services for the matches (see Event Security), it has the available manpower, equipment and expertise to deliver additional services to those independent parties who would deem it necessary.
One of these additional services on offer, is those of providing Accommodation Security to entire participating national teams.
The aim of these services is to ensure the absolute and unquestionable health and safety of the players, staff and retinue of the client teams at their place of residence whilst in-country.
This package holds the additional benefit of having an escort towards the required stadiums on the scheduled match days included, as well as providing a so-called "Leisure Time Security" Package.
Accommodation Security
The Guild will attach a professional Close Protection Services team (VIP Protection in other terms) to the booked accommodation venue of its contracted team, tasking the health and safety of the entire team to the best armed emergency responders in the business today.
The team will not be working in isolation, but will operate as part of one large, multi disciplined team, in order to maximise its effectiveness in its primary mission, whilst providing it with a large range of options of dealing with a variety of potential situations which may pose a threat to the health and safety of their clients.
Despite the fact that violence remains a unspoken universal language, in which the Guild is fluent in, we understand that each unique nation poses unique challenges when it comes to the health and safety risks it can pose to both its citizens and its visitors. Thus, the Guild actively strives to work in close cooperation with the accommodation venue's own security team, in an effort to effectively increase the safety of our client.
With the above principle in mind, the Guild will establish a Combined Operations Room within each city that it operates within, which will maintain constant contact with all its regionally deployed teams. This will allow the Guild to quickly and effectively deploy its assets all across the region, should an emergency arise. Furthermore, the Operations Room will maintain close contact and close relations to the city's law enforcement and emergency response services, effectively increasing the range and effectiveness of dealing with challenges which may arise. Furthermore, the Operations Room will collect and consolidate intelligence reports, tracking hot spots and dangerous trends, before it can affect the client.
Each individual member of The Close Protection Team assigned to every client is highly trained and experienced, capable to deal with an extensive scope of emergencies. A fully qualified and certified paramedic is also attached to each team.
Escort Security
The Guild grants the additional bonus of providing convoy security to its clients when the Accommodation Security contract is initiated. This entails the deployment of an additional team who will act as an armed escort for the national team, when they travel to the respective stadium from their accommodation on match day. Please note that the team will utilize its own transport for this movement (for example the team bus), however, the Guild will station an armed operative within the bus, whilst also attaching unmarked vehicles, manned with security specialists, to the convoy.
The convoy en route will also enjoy all the benefits which the established Combined Operations Room has to offer - namely a coordinated network of operatives, immediate access to the city's law enforcement and emergency response services, and an up to date intelligence network.
Leisure Time Security
The Guild grants yet another additional bonus to its clients when the Accommodation Security contract is initiated, namely the so called "Leisure Time Security" services.
This entails the attachment of a professional Close Protection Security team escorting the clients towards the chosen venue of enacting their leisure time during off days (for example nightclubs or tourist sights).
The clients will enjoy the same convoy escort services as mentioned above, with the additional benefit of having a professional team of Close Protection Officers securing the entire group's health and safety, against a wide range of potential threats.
The clients will also enjoy all the benefits which the established Combined Operations Room has to offer - namely a coordinated network of operatives, immediate access to the city's law enforcement and emergency response services, and an up to date intelligence network.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES: INDIVIDUAL CONTRACT
Despite the main focus of the Guild being the providing of security services to the stadiums during match days, and the out of stadium security for the national teams participating within the Tournament, the Guild is also willing and able to provide the same standard of services to individual clients and their families whilst visiting the nation.
Any visitor to the nation for the duration of the tournament, whether they are wealthy fans, businessmen, public figures, or simply someone who fears for their safety, is open to contract the Guild for world class services. One initiating an "Individual Contract", a Close Protection Officer/Team will be assigned to the client and their families, who will remain with the client wherever they might want to travel to or attend to, whether this is at the place of accommodation, the stadiums, or tourist destinations. An added benefit to this contract is the fact that the assigned officer will act as the client's designated driver, driving them to and fro, eliminating the need to utilise public transport or renting a private vehicle. The contract will initialise with the client arriving within the nation, and will only end when the client is escorted out of the nation.
The clients will also enjoy all the benefits which the established Combined Operations Room has to offer - namely a coordinated network of operatives, immediate access to the city's law enforcement and emergency response services, and an up to date intelligence network.
