Signups updated. Lisander and Terre Septentrionale have both given good advice to United Osean States, so I'll just add that they'll need to make another post in this thread for it to count as a sign-up.

Signups have been updated, and Lisander has been placed in the numbers puppet section. We're currently at 24 signups without including the numbers puppet. In addition, a friendly reminder that host bidding will close in about 34 hours, after which voting will begin.

Host bidding is now closed.

The voting period is now open. All users who are signed up for the tournament may choose one of the following options:

1 - Accept the bid from Fluvannia
2 - Re-open host bidding

Voting will last for a period of 72 hours, concluding on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 11:59pm. Votes should be sent by telegram to Prinz-Eugens-Land. All votes not sent by telegram, or not sent to the correct nation, will not be counted. Thank you.

Host voting has concluded. Voters had two choices, to approve the bid from Fluvannia or to re-open host bidding.

Re-open bidding - 0 votes

Congratulations to Fluvannia, who wins the host bid unanimously! Signups have been updated - we currently have 29 main nations, as well as Lisander as a possible numbers puppet to give an even 30. The tournament is now handed over to Fluvannia.

I would like to thank those who have cast their votes in support of my bid! As I stated in that bid, the everything thread for the tournament has been posted. Please feel free to add your rosters there whenever you are ready.

As it stands, counting Lisander we currently have 30 nations signed up, which would be split into 5 groups of 6 each. I will be capping the number of participating non-puppet nations at 32. I will leave the signups open until either we hit that number, or 11:59 PM Central Daylight Time on Friday, October 9, whichever happens first. At that time I will decide which puppets (if any) are to be included to bring the number of participants to an evenly divisible count and begin drawing the groups; they will be posted Saturday evening.

That would be a font called Draper, at 80% character width and in Fluvannia Blue, #1E3D7B. You can get it for free here:

Alright, that's the cutoff! We have 32 nations signed up, which is a pretty good size for this tournament IMO.

I'll tell you what -- since the groups haven't been drawn yet, if you can get either Lisander or Prinz-Eugens-Land to drop since they're puppets, I'll slot you (at least your main, which I presume is Ontorisa) in where they were. Best bet is talk to S&T, they pretty much added PEL as a puppet to get an evenly divisible nation count.

I'd rather puppets drop out, personally. Especially since you'd be a newer member of the community, I'd rather have you participate if possible.
