FOOTBALL: WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS
Rumors circulating Filindostan pulling out of next World Cup Qualifiers
SAN MARCO - Rumors of Filindostan not participating in the next World Cup qualifying campaign have spread like wildfire among the footballing community in San Marco.
After failing to make the knockout stages of the recent Cup of Harmony and a dismal performance in the Campionato Esportiva, the FFF held an emergency meeting which was kept secret from mainstream media, with their next steps on fixing the mess that was the Filindostan national football team. This was after the FFF allowed a certain Muhamad Asy-Syahid to take charge of the squad during the Campionato Esportiva after Krisna Hendra Sudirman stepped down as manager at the end of the CoH season. The participation saw a different squad which were men, or should we say, human androids belonging to the Human Android Institute of Kota Usman, a remote institute located in Melayu Archipelago. Said players were also participating as the HAIKU national team.
It was discussed that Filindostan might not participate in World Cup 87 qualifiers, which would have been their ninth attempt in making the World Cup for the first time. The former Baptism of Fire champions have failed to make it to the finals, the closest they had to one was in their first attempt in World Cup 79 qualifying and another in World Cup 82 qualifying campaigns.
The FFF will also announce the sacking of Aspen Quintos after their last match against regionmates Natanians and Nosts in a hope to secure 7th place, their WORST campaign to date, which only yielded 16 of a possible 54 points and only 4 wins to their name.
