1st AoR Cup of Nations
Assembly of Region Sports Program

Howdy Nations!!!Welcome to the signup thread of the first AoR Cup of Nations Soccer Tournament.The soccer tournament for nations from the regions part of assembly of region. Just post a message like "I'm In" or "Add me in" for signing up in the tournament. Before signing up be sure that you are part of AoR. If you leave AoR or Cease to exist then your signup will be cancelled. If you are new to NS sports be sure to read the guide to sports roleplaying given below.

If you are planning to host the tournament then post a host bid like the one given below with a tournament logo. Be sure that you know to use scorinators like Xkoranate and NSFS before bidding. They can be downloaded from links given in the guide.Don't forget to mention the scorinator you're using for hosting.

Choudal is a Tropical Island Group tucked away in the Northern reaches of the Melayu Archipelago, soccer is by far the most popular sport in the nation. There is an evolving domestic league in the nation that hopes to one day, become a powerful force in the Archipelago. Choudal’s Capital is Savusavu, a city of 150,000 people. The National Stadium is also in the city, and it has a capacity of 20,000 people. The nation is a Democratic Republic that has 850,000 in all. Agriculture, Fishing and Shipping are some of the largest exports from the nation. The nation is based off of English, Polynesian and Southeast Asian culture.

Format
Seeing the we are at 19 signups right now, it is best to plan for a format of 20 or 24 teams. Under a 20 team format we would do 5 groups of 4, with a single round robin. Under 24 teams we would do 6 groups of 4. In both formats 12 teams will advance to the playoffs.

Scorination and RP Bonus
I will use the latest version of NSFS for the scorination, with the formula provided by the program for the scorination. RP Bonus will be cumulative, and will be generous to insure complete fairness. RP Bonus will reset after the knockout stage, to encourage more RPing. A daily RP challenge will be set to encourage all AoR nations to keep RPing throughout the tournament.
