[OOC Discussion] Games of the XIV Olympiad

The Men's Football doesn't seem to be including drawn games. There are AET victories in Groups 6 & 11, with the victors getting three points rather than one. Although I got penalty shootout win over Lovisa in Group 10 we both got a point. Which I assume is the correct outcome points tally wise.

As I don't want to cause problems with the group tables, Banija will rescorinate with draws turned on when he wakes up. Thanks for the catch.

Laura Morris/Mara Moodley (ETM) appear twice in the beach volleyball whereas Tina Price/Brigitte Keyes don't make an apperance at all. Though it's going to be a pain in the butt to adjust, I suggest one team be designated as TP/BK, with their skill of 60 instead of 40.

Ok, I flipped a coin(Heads for Pool H, Tails for Pool C), and Tina Price/Brigitte Keyes will take the Pool H spot. The results and scorinator have been adjusted to reflect this.

Also, the three effected men's soccer matches have been rescored.

In line with our schedule going to 7 September, which allows us on average one off day for every two scorination days, there will be no scorination on Tuesday night. Day 3 scorination will take place on Wednesday.

It's university housing, so each athlete will get a room to themselves in flats of 8.

Edit: in fact as I look at it both semifinals advanced the wrong way. [Which means you don't necessarily need rescorinate, could just swap the results around.]

You mean my crap hockey team with a low skill modifier isn't worth two entries? They'll be very sad about that, although I suppose that it does mean they are now only playing one match per scoring period rather than two.

So out of the corrections I Had to make-

Group F for men's 3x3 basketball has been scored and edited into the results page.

I have fixed Group F for Men's Field hockey(removing Greater Vakolicci Haven and adding Graintfjall).

I have updated the Women's Doubles & Mixed Doubles Badminton results with those who have qualified for the knockout stages, shown on the results page via color coding. I have also disqualified Olga Sedershjolm from doubles badminton competition for the same reasons that the other Olga was disqualified from doubles badminton competition(failing to meet the minimum athlete requirements for the competition).

I have also added the rugby sevens venues here.

I have noticed the following on an RP that involved a match vs. a team from Quebec:

Table tennis

Esther Ada and Rainer Claas won their first round match against Emilie Yi and Joseph Kim from Quebec, after some confusion, in five sets.
First the referees from Banija insisted to end every set after 3 points, before consulting higher authorities and apologizing under tears, claiming that they never had played or seen Ping-Pong before and been falsely informed that this would be best of five sets ending after 3 points.
The medal dream of the two Kriegiersien stars still lived.

It gravely disappoints me that the following RPer have failed to consider taking my RP permissions into account, on top of using what's already invalidated results on OOC terms and not on IC terms (see: host statement already made on using invalid results, on the Page 5 of the RP thread).

EDIT : I have updated my RP permissions for clarification's sake. Part of the preexisting confusion was on RP match part (which went way more restrictive than imagined), which was resolved easily with merging it to godmod events and clarifying it.

Please understand that I do not have a problem with people godmodding events in general, as long as it doesn't get excessively out of hand or without contacting others involved. My TG inbox is open.
