Star Players signed:

This Club managed to sign two Star Players ahead of the first season. The Club managed to sign Defender Bruno Martins. Bruno is a bench keeper for the national squad whom has been a part of the national squad since its inception in the form of the Port Ember Youth Development Program. Although not the best keeper on the national squad, the years of development and experience on an international level will surely benefit this club in the long run still. The next star signing is in the form of Midfielder Steven Packard. Steven is a bench midfielder for the national squad, also part of the squad since its very inception. Although Steven is only a bench midfielder for the national team – he is considered one of the greatest substitute impact players in the game today. This is evident in the fact that he has seen game time in every single match that the national team has played to date. He is legendary in the late game, bringing fresh perspective and morale to the late game. I am excited to see the impact this player will have on the rest of the club’s players, but most importantly this opportunity will allow Steven to play a full 90 minutes game, allowing him to be developed even further for future national matches.
A Word
This club seems to have a strategy to place some emphasis on establishing a team which focuses on developing a strong defensive, counter attacking midfield, evident with the signing of Star Defender Bruno Martins and Midfielder Steven Packard (who has great chemistry by the way). The team managed to sign Poseidon Fisheries Ltd as their head sponsor, which is a great sign that there is potential in this squad’s ability to rise to the top. For this team, I personally hope that they manage to build a very strong and developed backline which places some focus on counter attacking in order to grow the potential talent pool for the national squad in the long run.
