In one of Estmerish sport's best showings in international sport in over three deaces, Team Estmere enjoyed a strong finish at the Ulan Khol Winter Invictus.

After a disappointing start to this year's Games, supporters were thrilled as they watched Estmere's Invictus heroes win one gold medal, two silvers, and two bronzes to leapfrog frenemies Werania and Etruria in the medal table.

Many fans said they had watched the games very closely, reporting that they were upset with how the team was doing at first. As time went on, they were happy to catch a glimpse at the history being made at Ulan Khol.

The medal haul is Estmere's best showing at the Winter Invictus since 1982, when the team finished eighth at the Games hosted in Westbrucken. It was the last time the team was in the Top Ten.

The heroics that saw Team Estmere triumph after decades of Invictus drought began when Elena "the Klobber" Klobuchar-Turner won the gold in the women's skeleton. Before that, the Estmerish team had failed to win any medals.

Fans reported that they had felt let down up until that point. Shock defeats for both the men's and women's hockey teams left many outraged.

"The bloody Invictus isn't even worth watching" one fan said.

"Are sure it is worth the millions just to turn up and be embarrassed on the international stage?" another asked.

However, Klobuchar's sensational first-place finish on Day 11 not only changed the way thousands of disappointed fans felt, but it turned the tide at the Games. Soon after, Estmere went on to win bronze in men's curling, beating Satucin.

After that, the medals began to pour in. On Day 14, Estmere won a silver in the women's team speed skating and a bronze in women's free-style skiing.

The team's supporters rejoiced as their Invictus heroes turned the tide, taking the country from the bottom of the medal table and punching into the Top Ten.

"What a finish!" one fan declared.

"It is hard to think we finished in the same games that we started in" another said.

With the Ulan Khol Games officially over, Estmerish athletes are set to return to Estmere today. The team will be received by the Prime Minister upon their return.

Estmere has struggled at both the Summer and Winter Invictus for years, failing to lead in gold medals and often falling behind nations like Gaullica, Etruria, and Werania. This year, that all changed when Estmere overtook Etruria and Werania on the medal table.

Werania finished eleventh and Etruria thirteenth, generating controversy among fans in both nations.

With this year's performance, fans and athletes alike hope that the 2022 Summer Games in Cote Serene, Gaullica will further mark the Team Estmere's comeback. Years of Invictus drought have come to an end, and the team's millions of loyal supporters have high hopes for the future.
