While we appreciate your interest in the Sporting World Cup and welcome your nation's participation, we noticed that you have proposed registering an overage player as part of your team. We regret to inform you that the Sporting World Cup is an under-18 tournament and therefore that Mr. Parrish, a 25 year old, is therefore ineligible to participate. We ask that all participating nations respect the eligibility rules of the tournament and limit their rosters to players aged 18 years or younger as of the first match of the tournament.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs apologizes for the mistake, Notrumbia will send a team of young people under 18 from the Royal Tigger School to participate in this magnificent sporting event. The team won national competitions and will represent Notrumbia playing as the Royal Team of Notrumbia.

I have updated the sign ups. If we get five more I have no qualms in making it a 40 team tournament with FFR’s approval. I plan on at least getting the tournament thread up by Monday evening est. with a draw maybe by Wednesday with the first match likely the following weekend or Monday.

The tournament format will follow the traditional method of 8 groups of 4 with a round robin followed by playoff stages, and will be entirely hosted within Taeshan. The Taeshan U-18 side is also willing to withdraw from the tournament if someone else would prefer to join.

IC: I would prefer to get the tournament underway by the the 8th. Hopefully it will fill up fast. Thanks for your cooperation.

All-righty. I will most likely post a thread tomorrow with general details. We currently have 36 sign ups. I'm not against using that, 40 would be slightly better. I have plans for any such competition.

In each case I would stick to groups of 4, just adding a 9th/10th group. With play in games between lowest 2nd place advanced teams...Vs groups of 5 as that in my head leads to teams knowing how to mess up other teams who can't do anything to advance...But hey the 2026 World Cup will do that for whatever reason...Anywho.
