The last Field Hockey World Cup was hosted by Mattijana in November of 2016! Given that, we’re long overdue for another, so here it is, the 18th Field Hockey World Cup sign-up thread!

How do I sign up?

About Bolgano
Bolgano is a nation that is located in the northeast of Atlantian Oceania, consisting of 7 major islands and the Dartsak archipelago (which was obtained later) that was found in the south of the nation, The climate in the northern islands (Fedek and Wilsans) is cold while in the south there is a pleasant oceanic climate, it has a right-wing government, we are careful with the environment, in addition to several things that are common here.

The newest version of Xkoranate will be the one used to calculate the matches.

Experience
As an experience I have the Futsal Invitational Cup and the Callerdft Cup II, I think the Field Hockey would be another good tournament to continue experimenting in NS Sports.

Format
The most important thing would be the format of the tournament, depending on the teams that register, I hope they are 16, 20, 24 or 32 teams.

16: 4 groups of 4 teams, the teams will play 2 times giving a total of 6 games, they will qualify the 2 best.

20: 4 groups of 5 teams, the teams will play once giving a total of 4 games for each, they will qualify the 2 best.

24: 4 groups of 6 teams, the teams will play 2 times giving a total of 10 games for each one, they will qualify the 2 best.

32: 8 groups of 4 teams, the teams will play 2 times giving a total of 6 games for each one, they will qualify the 2 best.

1) What

Ko-orenite Bid for Field Hockey World Cup 18

2) Who

Between 12 and 24 teams, divided into groups of four or six. Four-team groups will play a double-round robin, six-team groups will place a single-round robin. If the number of teams stays at or under 16, we will go straight from the groups to the semifinals. If it is over 16, we will go to quarterfinals first.

3) When

Signups will be open for another week after a host has been chosen. If we haven't reached 12 signups at that point, we wait for the 12th team.

Cutoff will be between 21:00 and 22:00 CET.

4) How

Xkoranate's Field Hockey function, including a -5 to +5 style mod. Home advantage and ranks will not be used for this tournament.

RP and Roster bonuses will be given out.

6) Why

We want to be involved in more international affairs, starting with sports.

Ko-oren is home to many, many sports, including some that aren't a big national draw. Field hockey has a niche following, but is a very strong presence in the province of Intermare, a flat-to-hilly province between the Salamantic Sea in the north and the Bay in the south. Intermare is home to two large cities, Schemerdrecht and Sterrenwolde, several smaller cities, and many towns dotted along the western coast or in the eastern valleys.

All 12 teams operating in the highest field hockey league originate from Intermare, and all stadiums (except for one) mentioned in the bid are in Intermare as well. That sole exception is Straudum's Hazel Arena, which is culturally and physically close to the Intermare border.
