Hockey is huge in Pius Desurongcrandis, the most popular sport in fact. Domestic hockey in Pius, the Piesian Ice Hockey League (PIHL) is one of the biggest in all of Scoutenia and serves mainland Pius and all its territories. The Piesian people have rallied behind the team representing Pius. The national arena is located in the city of Hosterville where Hockey was 1st played in Pius Desurongcrandis, it is just outside of Fennex and 2 hrs from the city of St. Joe's. The secondary arena is in Garrettsville in the National Athletic Complex, the sight of the 1st Scoutenia Winter Olympics.

Speaking in front of reporters Jeremy Lyons, head coach of the CSE Emperors talks about the the Emperors first win the in the Hockey league and the outlook for the rest of the season.

I am proud of my team in their first showing against the Blue Jackets. This win is a big boost coming into this hockey season, hopefully this momentum can keep going until we reach the top. Though there were some mistakes made in the game but with a little practice we will be able fix those mistakes. The CSE Emperors will do well in this competition and this first win is a good sign.

Coach Hiepel would walk into the Media Room, clearly upset. He would sit down, and begin his ranting.

"This is just horrible. We were just steamrolled out their. Our defense was exposed, and our offense was deflated. To practice all offseason, to practice so hard and so efficently, and to just start the regular season in such a fashion is not acceptable. I will make sure to prepare this team more for next weeks game. Our main focus will likely be on our defense, because if we want to win any games in this leauge we need a defense that can stop the puck.

Coach Hiepel would then get up, and begin to answer questions before finishing the press conference, and walking off.
