Following overwhelming support from the FCN RP poll, here is the next regional sporting event. This thread will be for planning and host bids, as said above. I was thinking this event would happen during Christmas Break, where most of us have a week and a half of days off(21st-1st are off for me, not sure about anyone else, maybe the schedule would have to be compressed to fit in twelve days, unlike the usual 16).
Warning to anyone planning on bidding, don't underestimate the task of bidding. When I hosted the Games of the FCN Olympiad last summer, with 126 events(100 medal, 26 demonstration), and 12 participating nations, about half of which didn't even max out their entries, it took me a full day and half to process applications. It also took a while searching up how the Olympics IRL have their event formats running. Finally, when scoring, it took a minimum of two hours each day, though for a few days it took up to five.
That said, I hope someone other than me can apply this time. After hosting the past two events, I hope to give someone else the chance. (And I won't even be in my state for a lot of the time, so...)
Here is a possible list of events. There is a total of 109 that will be in Beijing in 2022. New events added since Pyeongchang in 2018 are underlined.
The events of course are up to the discretion of the host, though I recommend that the future host does research into all of them, including their entry rules and formats, and their disciplines because I may have gotten some of them wrong.
And finally, a train service to transport spectators between far off clusters, as done by pretty much all countries now, would be nice.
