Lisander national futsal team will represent the country in international competitions, starting the first edition of the Futsal Invitational Cup.

In Lisander, futsal players are mostly part-timers, and those who want to live only from sport need to play in more than a team in different divisions, such as the goalkeeper Victor Valls, who plays in the US Fossoyeurs of the National League, and two teams from the lower divisions (Despina Juniors and Liath Futsal). Despite the chaos and mass demisssions in the Lisander Football Federation, caused by the surprisingly fail in signing up to World Cup 83, the FLF Futsal Director, Bruno Thule, was reappointed to his position, to manage the team in this event.

"Valls, do you have a minute?"

The first goalkeeper, Victor Valls, removed his earphones to hear the words of FLF Futsal Director Bruno Thule, who accompanied them as the head of the delegation.

"So, as you know, the Lisanderian Football Federation has a new board, after the organizational fiasco that took the country out of the Football World Cup."

"Yes I know. That's we are at this two-star hotel in the Bolgano backlands, instead of having a better hotel with room to train. The accounts are all being audited. It's understandable. Go ahead."

"I got a call from the new President Adrian Stannis. He had a meeting with Anders Michaelichen and Anneliese Gallion. And they both proposed to extend the Council of Captains to Futsal and Youth National teams. Your name, as Captain of the National Futsal Team, was put into discussion. I'd like to know your opinion. It has to be announced after the Futsal Cup final match against Huelavia tonight. I understand that you have a lot of concerns, after all, you just live from playing, and futsal doesn't pay as well as the Association, so you may not take upon the responsibility, then... "

Valls lifted his back from the bed and sat on his crossed legs.

"I want it. This is a good opportunity for me and for futsal. Without false modesty, I know all about futsal in Lisander. I know which teams are paying their players a miserable wage, I know where we can improve the arenas... If the Federation really want to hear what I have to say, then I have a lot to say."

HUElavia is playing in their first ever Final of a tournament in any sport, and many HUElavians have taken time out of their day to watch the Futsal Matches, whenever the National Football Team is not playing.

HUElavia comes into this Final with a group of amateur Futsal players from throughout the country and it has been a massive surprise to see Los Amarillos come this far into a tournament. Led by captain and goalkeeper Suarez along with youngster Asensio, HUElavians have flocked to Bolgano to watch the team progress.

HUElavia started out in Group B with Xanneria, Monglechabagd, and the United Civil Republic, and there was a general sense of mixed feelings as to whether HUElavia would advance as runner-up of the group, or be eliminated in 3rd place.

Matchday 1 started with HUElavia winning 2-0 against UCR, both goals scored by Asensio late in the 2nd half, and Suarez recording the first ever clean sheet of the tournament. Matchday 2 saw HUElavia thrash Monglechabagd 5-8, with Asensio and Roux bagging hat-tricks while Camacho and Coelho got one goal each. Matchday 3 had HUElavia draw against Xanneria in a see-saw match that ended 8-8, with Asensio getting a hat-trick, Roux and Ortiz getting 2 goals, and the Final 8th goal scored by Popov. HUElavia finished Group B in 1st Place with 7 points, 18 goals scored, 13 goals conceded, and a +5 goal difference.

In the Quarter-Finals, HUElavia faced off against Group A's runner-up, Libonesia, and the match ended 1-0, with the lone goal scored in the final seconds of the match by Zuffo. The Semi-Finals saw HUElavia take on The Glass Oasis, where an entertaining match had occurred, with Los Amarillos winning 5-2, having goals scored by Asensio, Roux, Ortiz, Camacho, and Coelho.

HUElavia will play against Lisander as the away team, but it is expected that 50% of the arena will be filled with HUElavians supporting this team, with President Ruben Fernandez-Casillas in the stands watching the match as well. There also also talks about this Futsal tournament becoming the official Futsal World Cup for the NS Multiverse, which HUElavia has stated that they will openly choose to participate for the upcoming edition. There are even talks in HUElavia about heavily financing Futsal teams in the country, as well as massively renovating arenas in the country to prepare for possibly a bid to host a Futsal World Cup.

Regardless of whether HUElavia wins or loses in a few days, HUElavia will be proud of these 14 men who came to play this invitational, and look to become a pioneer in modern Futsal for years to come.

The Glass Oasis, Like HUElavia, is playing the first ever of a sport, but unlike HUElavia, it’s actually their first time playing in ANY cup. Many of the more sports-loving Glassians tune in to the Futsal games.

For some of the more pessimistic Glassians, it was a surprise that they even got this far. Most though that watched, both in the crowd and through a screen, were cheerful about these matches however.

Starting out with Islas Aaland, DANURBIA, and Aureumterra, a few were skeptical about if the Glass Oasis would succeed, however a 2-3 against Aureumterra preformed by Zak and Xander, with Aelx and Çei successfuly defending against the opponent, being both Tangle Largos, proved them wrong, at the very least for that moment, Matchday 1.

However, this was not to last very long though, as a crushing defeat against DANURBIA with a 1-6 during MD2 seemed to be that this would be over, but it turned out to be that it wasn’t.

The Matchday 3, ended up being a turnaround, with a 1-0 against Islas Aaland, happening during the late middle of the match. The Glass Oasis would move on to the Quarter Finals, and many Glassians were confident.

During the Quarter-Finals, the Glass Oasis, went against Lochario. This match was fun to many, watching or playing. Early in the match, Summer and Mya managed to score a goal, and Rubi managed to defend a would-be goal for Lochario. Lochario however managed to score 2 goals later in the match,1-2. Now, the middle of the game, Zak and Summer score a goal, 2-2. Lochario scores another goal, but Jac and Lee defend the next, and Xander scores a goal. 3-3. A little while of time passes without either side scoring any goals, but then Lochario scores. 3-4. It seems Lochario is gonna win, but Mya gets a goal. 4-4, When it goes into overtime, Rubi defends, and
Zak lands a goal. Lochario lands a goal, but the Glass Oasis takes the lead, with Summer and Xander ending up scoring the last goal. The Glass Oasis wins, and it looks promising that they might win.

And then the Semi-Finals, oh boy. During which, Zak scores a goal, Lee and Çei manage to defend one each, but then Asensio, Roux, and Ortiz each score a goal. Rubi manages to score a goal, and Aelx defends against one, however Camacho and Coehlo score, causing the Glass Oasis to lose 5-2.

“You know, I’m glad we all made it this far. 3rd or 4th place really isn’t that bad.”
-Wæt, one of the goalkeepers.

“Agreed, now just to see who gets 3rd, against.. Mongle..chabagd? Am I saying that right? That’s kind of a long name.”
-Hazo Adi, the other goalkeeper.

“Yes. And hey, we made it to the Semi-Finals, which is pretty good considering this is all of our first time in one of these cups.”
-Wæt

“Yeah.”
-Hazo Adi

“Man, this was great. I’m gonna need a small break after all of this Futsal stuff is over.”
-Zak, one of the offenders/strikers.

“Me too. Need a pogofruit?”
-Çei, one of the defenders.

“Nah, at least not right now.
-Zak

“Okay then.”
-Çei

“Cya’ll for the game.”
-Hazo Adi

“Will do.”

HUELAVIA ARE FUTSAL CHAMPIONS

HUElavia have won their 1st ever Sporting Tournament the Futsal Invitational Cup I (also known as the NS Futsal World Cup 0)!

In a sizable crowd in Gett Walls, Bolgano, Los Amarillos had taken advantage of the mainly HUElavian crowd to help them win the match. With the crowd constantly booing Lisander players when they had the ball and chanting when HUElavia had the ball, the match felt much like a game in HUElavia.

The match stated with top goal scorer Francisco Asensio scoring just 90 seconds into the match with a spectacular solo goal, and 5 minutes later, Sorokin made it 2-0 with a slight deflection from a defender. Lisander got one goal before half-time with a corner kick taken by Lantin found the head of Joset to make it 2-1.

The 2nd half came, and Asensio put the game back at a 2-goal advantage just 3 minutes in, with a volley goal after substitute Britos sent a long ball to him, making it 3-1. 5 minutes later, HUElavia made it 4-1, with Baquero scoring a penalty kick, after being fouled by Sartieux. 10 minutes afterwards, substitute Alves allowed Lisander to cut the deficit back to 2 goals, scoring a strong. low shot past Suarez, making it 4-2. In the Final seconds, Asensio took a run from the mid-circle and went past 3 defenders before slotting in the Final and 5th goal, having Asensio score a Hat-Trick and ending the game at 5-2.

President Ruben Fernandez-Casillas was present for the match and celebrated the goals with joy, giving all the players, coaches and staff warm hugs as the winners received their medals. Afterwards, Suarez got the trophy and lifted it hand-in-hand with Asensio.

For now, the future of Futsal is strong in HUElavia, and there is a good chance they can continue winning titles for years to come.
