This is the cutoff for day 13 RPs. RPs past this point will not count towards the day 14 RP bonus.

FBC News Broadcast
Afternoon, day 13

“Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen”, began Reehorst, “and welcome to FBC news, reporting live from Noorderstein. I am Laurens Reehorst.”

“And I am Annelijn Bekmann.” said Bekmann. The reporters were standing on what looked to be a Noorderstein street. But behind them was a large group of protesters, and some tents. The signs were hard to read from a distance.

“A week and a half ago, the finals for first person shooter was played. This was one of the so-called ‘esports’ added as a demonstration event by the organizers to boost viewership of the Games among younger audiences.”

“Gagium lost a close game to Furby Island in the finals of the game. This loss, they did not take lightly. Starting from their voice chat during the game, which was aired not long after the end of the game on the Gagiumish YouTube channel GamerWatch.”

“A few days later, motivated by that, and some more losses by various athletes, a protest began near the Gagiumish team’s residence. They claimed to protest the Gagiumish sports equipment being in terrible shape, but the Gagiumish Olympic Committee claimed it was due to their losses.” Statements from some of the protesters were shown, about them claiming to want more money spent on sports. The statement by the Gagiumish Olympic Committee was then shown, about their claims motivated by losses.

“The first person shooter team is believed to be behind the protest, and are seen giving soda to the rest of the protesters.” Some footage of that was shown, including some FBC coverage of the protest.

“These protests have been called riots by Gagiumish media, but the FSA, in charge of security in the Games, and Noorderstein police called them protests.”

“The protests ended when the team ran out of soda. Many thought this would be the end of it.”

“However, this morning a truck was seen pulling over at the Olympic village, near the building the Gagiumish first person shooter team resided. It was clear the protests would continue, and this time, not confined to the village.” Footage of the truck arriving was shown. The camera was aimed carefully to not show the truck’s license plate. The camera zoomed in, showing members of the Gagiumish team helping the drivers unload boxes of soda. The faces of the drivers were blurred.

“The protesters blocked this street, which is in a direct route from Gelderman’s Wharf to the village. They moved in while the marathon swim was going on at the Wharf.”

“Beneath this road, the red line carries spectators from the Wharf to the village. However, for athletes taking coach buses, and people from the city using cars, this is blocking their way to get across the street.”

“The protest itself has many athletes and spectators. The majority are Gagiumish spectators, though athletes from the country, as well as a handful from other nations are also there.” Footage was shown panning the crowd of protesters. A large amount of cars piled on the street were also shown. Some attempted to do a U turn, escaping the crowd.

“The majority of signs held by the protesters said ‘protest against the Olympics’, written in English and Dutch. Some are also in French.” More footage was shown. Some signs the protesters held were shown. A few held different ones, including complaints about the heat in Noorderstein.

“Their chants included ‘new host’, despite there being only three days left in the Games.”

“At the roadblock, tents were set up, including one occupied by the first person shooter team.” The tents were shown. By the branding on them, they looked like they were bought at a store just down the street. Beside the first person shooter team was a large amount of soda.

“On the first person shooter team’s tent, they have another sign that states ‘Furbish FPS team, 1v1 us tomorrow noon Olympic village’. Below it is the same statement in Dutch.” The sign was shown, with a player from the Gagiumish team drinking a can of soda.

“The Furbish team has not responded to this yet, and has not yet replied to a question about it sent by email by the FBC.”

“We managed to get an interview with David Baudet, the captain of the first person shooter team.”

The screen changed to both reporters reporters standing with the Gagiumish first person shooter team captain. Below, his name was shown, David ‘Furbydestroyer69’ Baudet. Bekmann began “Good afternoon, Mr. Baudet, and thank you for accepting this interview.”

Baudet replied “Cool, thank you too!”

“What is your motive behind organizing this protest?”

“Bold to assume I organized it. Typical Furbish.”

Reehorst then replied “If it was not you who organized it, then who did?”

“I don’t know. Some genius, probably. I thank them for doing that though.”

"What would you guess this genius' motive was behind the protest?" asked Bekmann.

“I’d say the absolute genius probably is dissatisfied with how things are going here. You know, the weather’s really too hot here, did you know that? But yeah.”

“An entire protest over the weather?” replied Reehorst, “The heat of Furby Island is well known, and whoever organized the protest should have known that before arriving to this country. Not to mention, there is central air conditioning in all the venues and village.”

“Gamer oppression is a serious matter.”

Bekmann asked “Outside your tent is a sign challenging the Furbish first person shooter team to another game tomorrow at noon. What is your motivation behind that sign?”

“The games were biased from the start. The maps on the FPS were of places these Furbish players grew up in, so they had that unfair advantage. And the Furbish suck *BLEEP*.”

“I'm assuming you will play a game other than the one you played in the finals? This was a game designed to be fair, lacking any sort of in app purchases that have plagued modern games of the genre.”

“Yes, yes. They can..consider this another opportunity for their *BLEEP* to be kicked.”

Rehorst then said “You said that these maps were places the Furbish players grew up in. The maps in question include Furbish wilderness, where few people in general have set foot in, and cities where most of the players have not even set foot in either. What makes you think they have an unfair advantage here?”

“They did.”

“We have one more question for you.” said Bekmann, “After you lost, this interview from that morning went viral. Do you wish to comment on it?” shows the interview where he says “Prepare to have your *BLEEP* kicked though, you cucks. Especially you, Furby. *BLEEP* you.”

“Yes, they have their *BLEEP* kicked. Especially the Furbish. *BLEEP* them.”

“Nothing to add about this clip going viral after your loss to the Furbish team?”

“Those were just the prequels to the upcoming match, shall the Furbish accept. Unless they’re too scared”

“We thank you for being here” said Reehorst.

“Nice, want a Mountain Dew?”

“Sure.”

“I’ll have one as well,” Bekmann added, “and another one for the cameraman.”

“Okay, cool”, said Baudet, “Here you guys go. These’ll be free...”

Bekmann passed a can to the cameraman, and the reporters opened the cans and had a drink with Baudet. The screen changed back to both reporters standing behind the tents. Reehorst said “It is obvious the ‘absolute genius’ he talked about near the beginning of the interview is himself.”

“And he seems extremely confident that he will win,” said Bekmann, “only losing because there was an ‘unfair advantage’.”

“Just now, we’ve received a message from Sanford Havis, the captain of the Furbish team.”

The email was put on screen, and was read out. “’Good afternoon, I told the Gagium team that I am ready to kick their *BLEEP* again. Send a hot reporter to cover the match.’ He signed his email with his tag, ‘xXx_GabreilVanAarle_xXx’.”

The reporters continued covering the protest while it was going on. But despite all the media attention, it was unlikely that the protesters will get what they want.
FBC Sports Broadcast
Night, day 13

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the nightly Olympic recap on FBC Sports, reporting live from Noorderstein. I am Martijn Luiken.”

“And I am Petra Lansink. Today has once again been a good day, though not as good as yesterday. But the team still came home with some medals.”

“Beginning with the women’s ten meter platform, three of the four Furbish divers qualified to the semifinals, and Raynor and Nesler finished in second and third place respectively.”

“It was not even close. Raynor was three and a half points behind first place, but over twenty behind fourth. Nesler finished twelve and a half points lower, but still far from fourth and fifth place.”

“However, this is only the preliminary round, where divers tend to pull off less impressive dives, and doing better ones in the finals. And if previous events have been any indicator, top spots in the preliminary don’t necessarily mean good spits in the finals.”

“The next event, the men’s four hundred meter butterfly, also went well. In the first heat, Eyer and Negrin finished in the top two, fifth and sixth overall, and will advance to the finals.”

“Eck finished second in the second heat, and second overall. He too will move on to the finals.”

“In the women’s race, Strain finished first in the third heat, seventh overall. She will also advance to the finals, and only Furbish swimmer to do so.”

“The final aquatics event today, the women’s marathon swim, did have some unexpected results.”

“Marcella was expected to do well in the race, but probably not win a medal. She finished fifth, which was better than expected.”

“But Overlock, who was not even expected to place in the top fifteen, came home with a gold medal, finishing three fifths of a second ahead of second place.”

“Moving on to athletics, in the men’s fifteen hundred meter run, Newsome finished in second place.”

“In the four by one hundred meter relay, both Furbish teams finished in the top eight.”

“The final medal earned by Furby Island today is in the men’s shot put. In the preliminary round, four throwers qualified. Delman was the best, ending in third place.”

“Delman’s performance fell in the finals. Another thrower, Laven, who was in eighth, won a silver medal.”

“In the second day of the men’s decathlon, Furby Island did do moderately well.”

“Simonton finished fifth in the hurdles, though he had no chance of winning after a loss in an event yesterday.”

“Youngman does still have a chance, however. But he finished in eleventh in the hurdles.”

“He placed better in the discus throw, in tenth place, but earned less points in it.”

“Youngman did better in the pole vault, placing in fifth, then eighth in the javelin throw.”

“His best event is the last one, the fifteen hundred meter run. He placed in fourth, and did not earn a significant amount of points.”

“In the end, Youngman placed fifth in the decathlon, only seven points behind fourth place, and thirty-one behind third.”

“Simonton finished in eighteenth, but had he scored well in the long jump yesterday, without fouls, he still would not be in the top ten.”

“In the women’s four by one hundred relay, a Furbish team placed in sixth. The race was extremely close as well, and each athlete being better by a twentieth of a second would have placed them in first.”

“The high jump is another event that went well. Four out of five Furbish jumpers qualified to the finals, of which three reached the qualifying mark, and one of them is tied for first.”

“The final athletics event is the javelin throw finals, where Furby Island did not do well. No medals were won for this event.”

“Jumping to the end of the alphabet from the beginning once again, in the men’s beach volleyball semifinals, both Furbish teams played against each other. Stgermain and Mohamed won, and will advance to the gold medal match. Fausto and Semon will play in the bronze medal game.”

“The final event is men’s indoor volleyball semifinals. After a drawn out game which lasted a full five sets, Furby Island defeated Aeternitatia, and will play West Phoenicia in the gold medal match.”

The reporters spent time covering the demonstration events, and events tomorrow, including the fourteen medal events and two bronze medal games, with forty-four medals awarded in total, the most out of all the days. They then spent time talking about the protest, before wishing the audience a good night.

The Inquisition Tribunal has several different usages;

An ecclesiastical Tribunal the institution of the Ministry of Faith uses to combat heresy Trial of an individual accused of heresy or religious hate crime

made with cancer and massive loss of brain cells, I don't regret this at all though. GamerWatch 2, ft. a few thousand more characters

GamerWatch
youtube.com/user/gagiumgamerwatch

"Hello my guys and girls, welcome to another episode of GamerWatch, the nation's #1 gaming news youtube channel. I'm Jacob Cohen - Still!- and I'll be your host today..again. God, I need a new job. Okay, guys, let's get right into this." Jacob chugs an entire bottle of Mountain Dew before grabbing a handful of doritos and continuing. "We have some news regarding Swoogerguy, again. After saying 'nigger' fifty-eight times during a twitch stream, YouTube has condemned his 'racism and bigotry' and has shut down his youtube account, primarily known for his Fortnite 2 streams and videos. Before his account got shut down, Swoogerguy gained approximately 0.4 million subscribers in support of him after the site originally demonitized him." A clip of Swoogerguy's stream is played, during which he repeatedly yells the n-word on a Fortnite 2 match after being brutally killed off and t-bagged by darker-skinned gamers.

"Meanwhile, and you'll want to here this, the Gagiumish Olympic First Person Shooter team reportedly organized a demonstration in Noorderstein that ended up blocking a highway and causing traffic congestion, during which they protested the anti-gamer and segregationist Olympics being held in Furby. The team sold over a thousand dollars in Mountain Dew and soda sales, apparently, and garnered themselves an interview from the Furbish state-owned media - Ah sh*t, that reporter has nice - And, uhm. Er..attracted attention from all over the world."

"But most importantly, the GODs and GODDESSES challenged the Furbish FPS team to another match. Another five matches, actually. I don't know whether you guys have heard of this yet - I didn't until the guys reached out to me shortly ago, with another great clip...heh..But this is spectacular. And the Furbish accepted. They ACCEPTED."

"The FPS team are really nice gamers, I'm sure we've all watched some of their streams and channels. We've been with them for years, we've watched them game and practice for this moment. The Olympic FPS match was just the prequel, okay. The prequel to THIS. It all leads up to this. All of it has. Every mountain dew bottle jugged down, every dorito bag consumed, every dab, every kill and kill streak. IT ALL LEADS UP TO THIS, GUYS."

"And girls, I'm not a sexist. Don't demonetize me again. Funny that I say again- What, I'm supposed to stop talking now? Jesus, okay. Best three out of five. This is a recording from the third game, the Furbish won the first two - Nono, the Furbish don't win. That's not why we're showing the third game. This, too though, has been never seen before - by anyone! I mean, except the people there, but you guys probably weren't, so ENJOY!"

The video's screen turns to high quality footage of the FPS game, being set on a map of the Olympic Village this time. At the top of the screen read, 'Gagium VS Furbish Islands - Rematch match 3/5 - 0-2'.

Even though the gamers were all in the same area (On the road they blocked yesterday by the protests), they were still all connected to a discord voice chat, which was shown at the left hand side of the screen, with all gamers connected. A three minute countdown until the match begins was shown at the bottom of the screen, and the athletes' virtual players were huddled around at one side of the olympic village map.

With two minutes fifty seconds and counting, team leader and absolute god David 'Furbydestroyer69' Baudet had the players stand in a row in front of him, with Caroline '360getscoped' Breguet, the team second in command, was walking around them, inspecting the team.

Furbydestroyer69 - "Okay, guys. Today is the day we redeem ourselves and come back from our..loss to the FURBISH *SSHOLES. Today, we prove that Gagiumish gamers are #1 in the Federation, and today we prove that the Furbish sucks. We will come out on top. Now, nevermind that the FURBISH WON THE LAST TWO ROUNDS, GODAMMIT, Let's just forget that. This round is all we have..and the next..and the next..but THIS ROUND is where we can either LOSE THIS to the FURBISH, oh god just LOOK AT THEM..I can smell them from over here, jeez - or we can win this. Now. LET'S WIN THIS! FOR GAMERS!"

360getscoped sighed on the VC. "Okay my slaves, WE WILL WIN. He's right, you know. We will beat the SH*T OUT OF THOSE FURBISH F*GS. FOR GAGIUM!"

Noobrekter5 yelled into VC, "WE'RE GONNA DIE", and all hell broke loose on the VC before Furbydestroyer69 began yelling. "GUYS, Shut the hell up for a sec. OKAY?..Good. We need a battle plan. The last plan of just camping those residential towers didn't work at all, so we need to try something else. 360, you're hot and you seem like you have a plan. Do tell."

360getscoped coughed. "Wh..why are you guys looking at ME for? We can have our sniper boys take cover on the lower buildings, and have our assault rifle men storm the buildings on the other side of the map..Let's do that. Good?"

Furbydestroyer69 - "Yes. That's the plan. You all hear her??"

"No..." Assdestroyerz said.

360getscoped exhaled loudly. "OKAY. SNIPERS LOW, ASSAULT NOOBS STORM. YOU HEAR THAT?"

"Yeah, yeah, jeez."

The VC was silent in a really awkward way before the match began. Furbydestroyer69 yelled, "RIFLE NOOBS ON ME! Snipers on 360 - Not as in ON HER, That's for me ONLY..Assdestroyerz. Uh, do your stuff, okay?" Furbydestroyer69 and the assault rifle players began running alongside the residential towers, while 360getscoped led the snipers to a series of lower buildings closer to the middle of the map, where they settled in.

360 said in VC, "Okay, Furbydestroyer69..hah, 69! You guys are in position? I don't see the Furbish."

Furbydestroyer69 replied, "Oh yeah, we're definitely in position. Position to f*ck up these pussies *sses, them motherf*ckers. We'll show.." Furbydestroyer69 was cut off as a sniper shot killed Fastdabber, who was pretending to shoot at a nearby building..that actually had Furbish in it. Fastdabber yelled, "FIRST F*CKING KILL. ARE YOU SH*TTING ME?!? GOD DAMN. WIN THIS GUYS, WIN THIS." before disconnecting.

"GET TO COVER!' Furbydestroyer yelled as another shot nearly missed Gamergium. Back at the series of lower buildings, sniper Hotgamergirlowo yelled, "I'VE GOT ONE! Ugh, these skins for the guys are hot..And damn! Right through his hot little body, I'm sorry, RealGamerguim."

Gamergium yelled in VC, "YOU GOT THAT IMPERSONATOR! NICE! Thanks, Hotgamer." In the distance, Assdestroyerz spam-firing his LMG could be heard, as he attempted to shoot at Furbish out of his range and somehow hasn't been shot yet. No explanation was needed though when Assdestroyerz' LMG fire couldn't be heard anymore though, and he silently left VC, but not before taking down another Furbish - LastGamerStanding.

Noobrekter5 remarked, "Don't be sad guys. He's in a better place now.." He quickly glanced at Assdestroyerz munching on a bag of cheetos behind them. "And HAH, we got LASTGAMERSTANDING! Weak. F*cking loser, the b*tch got destroyed."

Furbydestroyer69 began chuckling in VC. "Hey, 360. This is the olympic village, right? Wanna go to my bedroom - ?" 360 grunted and yelled, "Shut the f*ck up. Honestly, you're so full of male privilege, you dumb incel..Nah, kidding. After we beat their *sses sure." Mafiahead420 yelled, "HEY! Ride each other later, kill the Furbish now. OKAY?"

Gunfire began hitting where the snipers were, with Mafiahead420 being shot numerous times before yelling. He yelled, "YOU F*CKERS AND B*TCHES HEARD WHAT I SAID. KILL THE FURBISH NOW! THEY CAN GO SUCK MY C*CK.." before disconnecting. Mafiahead stormed away from his PC and sat down by Assdestroyerz and Fastdabberz.

360getscoped looked up at a nearby roof, saw a Furbish player preparing to shoot her, and took one shot, killing the Furbish noob. "I GOT WORLDSBESTGAMER..Hah no. Hey, Furbydestroyer, what the hell are you guys up to?"

Furbydestroyer69 looked at TheRealNewWaldensia nervously, then said, "Uhm..Just stopped by at my bedroom, y'know. We're going-"

RealNewWaldensia interjected, stating, "These Furbish b*tches are in the tower above us. We're gonna storm them and end their misery."

"Uh yeah, yeah. Gamers, move out." The AR noobs moved out, with Furbydestroyer69 leading them up the staircase to the top of the tower. "Okay. We're one round of stairs from the top. Any volunteers to go first..?" Getnaenaed whispered, "I'll go first." and ran up the staircase, reaching the roof and shooting the two furbish players who were on top. "Nice, nice-" Getnaenaed said before getting shot, and then yelling in VC, "WOW. OKAY. I SEE HOW IT IS." Back on the ground, sniper Hotgamergirlowo also yelled, "GOD, I'M DOWN, I'M DOWN! KILL THE F*CKER B*TCH *SS GABRIWHATEVER".

TheRealNewWaldensia - "Okay, uhm, Noobmaster, Furbydestroyer, Gamergium. Just us on the assault noob squad, huh? What's the plan?"

Furbydestroyer69 whispered, "I'm gonna say this so the crowd doesn't hear...Okay, [BLEEP] (N*ggerrrrr)..Sorry, had to get that out. I'm not racist. Let's head down and beat these guys." As the assault rifle noobs headed back down, Quickshotgamer yelled, "I'VE GOT ONE - NO, I'VE GOT TWO. DOUBLE KILL, DOUBLE KILL, HELL YES! I'm f*cking thanos. YOU HERE, THAT YOU FURBISH C*CKSUCKING D*CKHEADS?" However, a rain of fire from a nearby building soon finished off 360getscoped, and she facepalmed and said in the VC, "Okay, guys. Whoever wins this gets to...uhm, I'll hit them up with hot Furbish reporter girl over there. Cya in the room, Furbydestroyer."

Furbydestroyer frowned and yelled, "NO! GOD DAMN IT. MOVE DOWN, ASSAULTERS, LET'S GET THEM." Furbydestroyer, RealNewWaldensia, Gamergium, and Noobmaster moved down and exited the building, when a series of yells and rantings as well as multiple expletives and the n-word began flooding their VC. Gamergium and Furbydestroyer yelled, "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!? GUYS, GUYS-" before Quickshotgamer yelled over VC, "WE GOT ANOTHER ONE OF THEM..AND THE B*TCHES GOT US." The snipers then collectively disconnected from the VC.

Furbydestroyer69 looked back at the snipers quickly, who were all staring menacingly at the Furbish gamers, before quickly looking back at his screen. "It's just us four. SH*T. SH*T, SH*T, SH*T. God. WE'RE GONNA WIN, GUYS. Four versus five, they're probably all snipers anyways. Let's do this." As they exited the building, Gamergium got shot several times and died as the other three retreated. "Okay, they aren't just f*cking snipers. I REPEAT, THEY'RE NOT JUST SNIPERS."

TheRealNewWaldensia sighed and said, "Guys, move the hell out of the way. Let me handle this." She rounded the corner and fired a succession of rounds, killing one of them. "Now, how hard was that?-" She was cut off by a torrent of bullets narrowly killing Furbydestroyer and herself. "RIGHT, RIGHT. 4 vs 3...Let's go back up, alright? You know, Furbydestroyer, we could visit your room again."

Noobmaster68 interjected, with "NO. Furbydestroyer's room is literally on the third floor. We need to get onto at least the fifth, and my room is on the sixth, not on that main corridor and with ample room at the end of the corridor to spot and kill incoming Furbish b*tches." Furbydestroyer69 said, "He's right. UP, UP! We're just gonna..uh..camp, yes. COME ON!" They ran up the stairs into where Noobmaster's room was, with RealNewWaldensia proning at the end of the corridor to look out for incoming Furbish. Noobmaster and Furbydestroyer took up positions out of sight of outside the doorway, where they waited for the Furbish to come.

Noobmaster sighs. "God damn, is it always this hot in Furby? And I'm not talking about that reporter babe over there - Oh sh*t, can she hear us? I'm not talking about her, but DAMN."

RealNewWaldensia remarked, "Ugh, I agree. I know that I'm usually this hot, but god, the amount of HOT in this country is astounding. God-tier. Like, let me look back for a second-" RealNewWaldensia turned around quickly to look at the crowd and the dead FPS team watching them, when she turned her head quickly back to the screen at the sound of gunfire. It was too late, though - she had died. Throwing her headset onto the table, she stormed off, grabbed a water bottle, and dumped it on herself.

Furbydestroyer69 sighed. "Well, uhm, sh*t. What's this, a two versus four? Okay, well, let's do this. Noobmaster68. You and I, we-" two Furbish players stormed the room and began shooting, nearly killing Noobmaster68 before Furbydestroyer and Noobmaster finished them off. "Okay, it's a 2v2 now. SH*T. We GOT THIS." They retreated to the back of the room, where they stared at the door, guns ready. However, the Furbish were also ready, and within a second both of them were dead, the Furbish having won the round - And the best out of five. The footage ended with a screen saying "FURBISH VICTORY, 3-0. GG"

The screen turned blank for a second, before GamerWatch host Jacob Cohen came back on screen. "Wow. The Furbish beat them even harder than last time, holy sh*t. Okay, maybe they DID lost and that is why I showed the third round..because it was the last..but come on guys. Still a good match. The Furbish suck though. They really, really suck...And that brings us to the end of our show. Thank you, everyone, make sure to like and subscribe, and donate by clicking the button in the bottom left corner. Thanks for watching, and make sure to watch our coverage of the Olympic BATTLE ROYALE coming up in the next few days!"

Immediately after the loss
Furbydestroyer slammed his headset back onto the ground, and looked at Noobmaster. Noobmaster turned towards the Furbish players and yelled a series of expletives before heading back to where the Gagiumish team was with Furbydestroyer. They all were wearily sipping on cans of Mountain Dew and other soda, with bags of various snacks stacked along with them. Hotgamergirlowo sneered and spat in the direction of the Furbish players. "Look at them. They think they've won."

Noobrekter5 looked at hotgamergirl and divulged the unfortunate truth: "They have won. The rematch. David, Furbydestroyer69, you said we'd beat their asses this time around. We were on the verge of greatness yesterday, we had it all. But." 360getnoscoped chuckled and looked at Noobrekter. "Hey, I'm surprised that they even accepted the challenge, which shows how thin-skinned they really are. Okay, maybe they just knew that they could beat us again, and maybe they have, but so what. We had fun, right?"

Furbydestroyer said, "Yeah. I guess so guys. And - hey, fine I'll give you my autograph." A crowd of excited Gagiumish gamers who had been in Noorderstein watching the games for the past few days worked their way to where the gamers were, with the crowd praising the gamers and encouraging them despite the loss. "You guys are supposed to be more brutal.." Assdestroyerz remarked.

After a few minutes of signing thirsty Gagiumish gamers' stuff, the team stared back out into the crowd and at the highway the crowd was gathered on. The crowd, having seen the Gagiumish team's second defeat, had begun dispersing already, as the Furbish team continued celebrating. Furbydestroyer whispered under his breath, "I'll get the motherfu...some day. I don't know when, but we will encounter them again. And we will win." Gamergium slapped his arm and said, "Dude, we all can hear you. You're whispering so loud even the Furbish can hear you." He notioned to the crowd of Furbish FPS players, who were now staring at the Gagiumish team.

As the crowd died down, 360getnoscoped walked over to Furbydestroyer and winked. "Hey, didn't you say we should meet up in your bedroom tonight? Wanna smash?"

Furbydestroyer69 looked at her and sighed, before smiling and saying, "Yeah, sure. Let's smash." They exchanged a short hug before going their various ways for the night, as the other gamers dispersed and the highway was eventually unblocked, the protest having died for the day. The Olympic Village seemed oddly empty to Furbydestroyer69 as he entered, but he supposed that athletes were just preparing for tomorrow, which was supposedly going to amount to a big day.

Later that day, in Furbydestroyer69's bedroom..
David Baudet, or Furbydestroyer69, sat on the end of his bed, listening to some Furbish news broadcast that had made a complete mockery of him and his team. He sighed and looked down. He had failed Gagium and gamers across the nation - Hell, he had lost the Olympics to the Furbish first, and then he had lost the rematch even harder. This was completely disgraceful. Whatever, though - the team still had each other. And he still had Caroline, or 360getnoscoped. They never knew each other before they arrived in Noorderstein, but after the first Olympic FPS match they realized that they were meant for each other. Everything had led up to this.

He heard a knock on the door, and wearily got out of bed and opened the door. Caroline was standing at the door, wearing a tank top and shorts. He smiled and said, "Come on in..you got it?"

She laughed and put her hand on David's shoulder. "Yeah, I got it." She winked at him and asked, "You ready to smash? Hehehe..."

David smiled and reached for his pants. "Yeah, I'm ready...God where is it? Ah, here. Yeah, I'm ready to smash." He pulled out a nintendo switch from his pocket, and handed Caroline a controller. "Here. Now, are you ready to get your ass kicked harder than the Furbish kicked ours, 360?"

Caroline grunted. "Ugh. We should've won, Furbydestroyer. Dave, we had everything going for us, not to mention all our Mountain Dew we bought. But whatever. I guess that it happens to the best of us..Hey, let me play as pichu."

David snorted. "Actually? Haha, whatever, this'll be easy. You know, you're right, though. At least we came here and did our best. Who knows, back in Gagium we may still be praised for our valiant efforts against the - Ah, who am I kidding. I'm going pichu as well."

They played on the nintendo switch together for an hour, before Caroline said, "God. I'm tired. You know, I'll see you tomorrow, Furbydestroyer. We've yet to play our best game. The Furbish were just a warm-up..yeah, a warm-up we lost, but just a warm-up." After she left, David sighed and turned back towards the television, finding some Furbish history channel running a show about the Furbish wars against the natives. He murmured, "The absolute barbarians." before heading to sleep.

Noorderstein, Furby Island; Women's Artistic Gymnastics Uneven Bars Finals
Afternoon; Day 14
Viktoriya watched as the other women competing in the event carried out their routines.

First it was Becki Ownby from the Furby Islands, the host country. Viktoriya scoffed, "Basic Routine." the judges gave it a 15.125.

Than it was Melissa St Marie of New Phoenesia, a country whom a few San Carlos Islands Olympians have had problems with and thus became the one country that many from the Commonwealth didn't want to see do well. She got a 14.975. "Terrible." noted Viktoriya under her breath.

Next up was Scarlett Gellar, also from New Phoenesia. 16.125. "Good, but I can do better."

Sara Spencer from New Waldensia. 16.450. "Finally, some competition!"

Lela Perez from New Waldensia. 15.375.

Susy Kai from Furby Island. 15.475

Kendall Dance from New Phoenesia. 16.250

Next up was Viktoriya Atanasova from the San Carlos Islands...

She stepped onto a trampoline and jumped to the high bar. Thrusting her legs forward to gain the momentum needed to spin around the bar, pausing on a short handstand. She let her weight pull her forward and then releasing, flying...

To the lower bar, almost immediately spinning around it twice and jolting back...

To the higher bar and moving into another hand stand. From the hand stand she reversed her momentum and went the opposite way around the higher of the two bars releasing and moving back...

To the lower bar where she immediately did a third handstand.

Gravity pulled her in the wrong direction, but she quickly corrected herself. "Whew, hopefully the judges didn't see that." She thought to herself.

Viktoriya flipped back to the higher bar to end her routine, flipping around it three times, doing a handstand, and then reversing- doing a backflip off the bar and landing on her legs with her arms raised high in the air.

She looked at the judges and waited in suspense for her score... 15.375, tied for fifth place...

A tear rolled down her eye as one of the Gymnastics Support Staff members walked her away.

"Better luck next event!" Thinking that came off as kind of cold. He continued. "There's another gold medal with your name on it in either the Balance Beam tomorrow or the Floor after that. I really believe that, you should as well."

She didn't respond.

She went back to the Olympic Village and prayed for "Please God. Just one win."

'Pain heals'...

Noorderstein, Furby Island; Women's 4x100m Relay finals
Afternoon; Day 14
It was the Women's 4x100m Relay finals.

What had proven to be the better of the two San Carlos Islands Women's Relay teams, the one with Olympians Matilda Norfolk, Colleen Jones, Eleonora Lagounova, and Nevena Konstantinova, walked confidently to their stations.

Maditla would take the first leg, Eleonora the second, Nevena the third, and Colleen would be responsible for the anchor leg.

The competition would be fierce, all signs were pointing to the fact that the competition was superior. But with the thought of almost being knocked out of the event totally during the preliminary competition. This was a dangerous team. They had one thing everyone else lacked.

They had nothing to lose.

As crowds to spectators towered in the bleachers above, waving flags and holding banners that were supposed to represent the various nations at the event the Track and field athletics official told those running the first leg to take their positions.

Matilda, an eighteen year old born to British immigrants from the City of Brighton, Columbia, an Olympic newcomer, placed her feet in the starting block.

"This is it." She thought to herself. "I'm going to get us off to a good start."

The Track and field athletics official yelled "ON YOUR MARKS!"

"GET SET!"

"GO!"

Matilda shoot out of the block with as much velocity as she could muster and quickly accelerated into a full sprint. She sprinted as fast as she could down the straight part of the track.

Running into the 30 m changeover box was like hitting a wall that came out of nowhere, Matilda was in her zone, but when she saw the back of Eleonora's uniform she snapped out of it and proceeded to make a successful handoff.

After slowing down to a stop, Matilda threw her hands onto her head and threw herself onto one of those huge tarps that cover fields if it rains that was rolled up and sitting just yonder of of the first 100 meters of the track. She looked up at a screen that was posting live results. Finishing the first leg first was Matilda Norfolk (SCI) in 10.4 seconds. "

Out of breath Matilda said. "We got this."

Eleonora Lagounova rounded the 1st curved 100 meters of the track in 10.7 seconds, sustaining the teams's lead.

She successfully passed the baton to Nevena Konstantinova who did it in 10.8 seconds. The Aeternitatian team took a slight lead.

Colleen Jones, another newcomer from the suburbs of San Carlos City, took the baton from Nevena, starting the Anchor leg. "Not on my watch you win this. "She thought to herself seeing the foreign athlete slightly in front of her.

She broke into sprint, running harder than she thought she's had...

50 meters down the track she passed the Aeternitatian Olympian in front of her...

25 meters, Colleen only increased her lead.

20 meters... 15 meters... 10 meters... 5 meters... She started screaming.

Finish...

A sea of the colors of the San Carlos Islands shot up out of their seats, revealing flags and banners with victorious messages written on them in English and Russian.

Colleen slowed down and collapsed down to her knees, holding up her arms as high as she could, trying not to let exhaustion pull them down.

The rest of the team walked over to where she was resting and they embraced each other.

After some time, the results were verified and the San Carlos Islands team officially won, completing the track in 42.22 seconds, beating the Aeternitatians who won the silver by six miliseconds.

Matilda, Colleen, Eleonora, and Nevena stood on top of the medal podium. They smiled, wearing golds around their necks and holding a large San Carlos Islands flag behind them. The National Anthem of the San Carlos Islands played.

...'Glory lasts forever'!

Noorderstein, Furby Island
Night; Day 14
On day 14 of the Summer Olympics the intro that the daily San Carlos TV (SCTV) sports broadcast, covering all the insides and outs of the San Carlos Islands National Olympic team introduced yesterday was shown again today. A video montage of all the highlights of the day quickly flashed cross the screen and then faded into a cut of the SCTV logo overshadowing the city of Noorderstein. As that disappeared cameras overlooking a platform with a large desk on top of it where nightly hosts Foster Hayley and Kennedy Hayward where sitting. There would be an interview today with Women's Track & Field Olympian, Matilda Norfolk.

Foster started the show "Hello and a good late afternoon to everyone watching tonight's broadcast of SCTV Sports Olympic Recap where we're we talk about the good, the bad, and of course the ugly of these Summer Olympics in Noorderstein, Furby Island, coverage in Russian can be found on CKT. I'm Foster Hayley. - Today we will interview San Carlos Islands Women's Track & Field Olympian, Matilda Norfolk who took home the Bronze in the Women's Javelin Throw; and today will, with Colleen Jones, Eleonora Lagounova, and Nevena Konstantinova, take home the Gold in the Women's 4x100m relay. Welcome to the show Matilda!

She smiled. "It's good being here Foster!"

The camera turned back to Foster. "So Matilda, first things first. You we're the San Carlos flag bearer in the opening ceremony. How was that?"

"Well Foster, It felt so great to have that duty, representing not only all the San Carlos Islanders that came here to compete, but all of our countrymen in general. When I accepted the task I thought I was just a simple act of Patriotism and I'd encourage that others learn what it means to be a San Carlos Islander and then follow it up with something patriotic, show how much you love our little Commonwealth!"

Foster smiled. "Very well! We all love our country! It's certainly the finest in the world!."

"Indeed Foster!" noted Kennedy. "Now Matilda, how have you felt after competing so much and so hard here in Noorderstein and furthermore being rather successful with a Bronze and a Gold metal?"

"Well there's been ups and downs. You win some like what happened today with the 4x100 relay and the Javelin throw, and you lose some like what's happened a few times. For certain events I didn't even advance, and for one or two where I did, I didn't place. Overall, I have felt really good about how I've preformed here, I oviously have some medals. But I think I can do better in my next events, and I will do better!"

"Fantastic!" said Foster, "We really hope you can do that!" He paused.

"So our last question is, can the Women's relay team pull it off again in the 4x400m relay?"

"Certainly Foster!" She awkwardly winked. "So I think this team is very well composed for the event. We have the speed, especially in Colleen who acted as a great Anchor today and arguably got us the gold. We also have me, not to gloat, who is a Distance Runner by trade, adding that trait to the team. We we got this! I really think we can get that bread, that Gold medal again. I really do think that!"

Foster smiled. "Hopefully! We're pulling for you and me and Kennedy will be watching you guys tomorrow!"

Matilda tanked Foster and Kennedy for having her on the show.

After hugging Foster and Kennedy, Matilda left the set and the program moved into a commercial break.

-

The program rolled back onto TVs in the San Carlos Islands with the focus on Kennedy.

"So San Carlos Islands, here's your rundown of today's happens here in Noorderstein."

She continued. "Looking at the medal count, despite winning twelve medals today; three Bronze, five Silver, and three Gold, for the first time since the first few days of Noorderstein, the San Carlos Islands will lag behind the Furby Islands in the medal count by just one gold."

The camera turned back to Foster. "Here are those medalists. For the golds;"

"First, the Women's 4x100 relay. Matilda Norfolk who was just here, Colleen Jones, Eleonora Lagounova, & Nevena Konstantinova delivered today after taking a late lead, finishing the relay in 42.22 seconds. Just six miliseconds ahead of the silver medal team."

"Second, Marcia Haden who took home the gold in the Women's Pole Vault. Tying Celesta Letarte of the Furbish Islands with a score of 4.75. Both women took home a gold medal. Sladana Romanov of the Commonwealth waked home with a Bronze."

"Finally, Women's Artistic Gymnastics Vault where Vasilisa Pavlovsky won it all after leading fellow Islander Katie Van Slooten by .2 points. Katie will bring home a silver."

The camera turned to Foster. "For silvers other than Katie who we mentioned. Hanna Van Houtum | Women's 10m Platform
Doroteja Petrova will take home a silver in the Women's 400m Butterfly, Dobroslav Kokot, York Dean, Mark Van Arendonk, & Pétur Krämer in the Men's 4x100m Relay, and Yuli Sobol will take home two; one from the Men's Artistic Gymnastics Floor event and one from the Men's Artistic Gymnastics Pommel Horse event.

Focus was back on Kennedy. "And finally, Bronze medals. Other than Sladana Romanov. Mila Horvat will take home the third place medal in the Women's 10m Platform
and the San Carlos Islands National team will take home one in Women's Water Polo.

The camera shifted to Foster. "Early in the program, Kennedy noted we are second in the medal count by just one gold. Here is where the San Carlos Islands can regain it's lead.

He paused.

"First, the Women's 4x400m relay. One of the Olympians on that team, Matilda Norfolk, was just on the program when she noted that she strongly believes the team can win gold in the second of the two women's relay events. That team, again, won the Gold today in the 4x100m relay, if they can do it again, It would really help the Commonwealth is the medal count. During preliminaries, they came in third, lagging behind by two seconds. Can they improve enough in the finals? Certainly, when you consider they came in eighth in the 4x100 preliminary, barely qualifying, to the spot they are now."

"Another place we can win some gold in is the Men's Basketball finals where the San Carlos Islands will be put up against West Phoenicia, a team that has proven to be inferior in almost every way. If the San Carlos Men's team can outplay West Phoenicia as they have almost every other team in the tournament, they may as well have this gold medal win in the bag."

The camera turned to Kennedy. "Other events the Commonwealth may take home some medals in include the Women's Marathon which our friend Matilda will also be competing in. She's proven to be a stellar distance runner who also has the speed to put up a decent, gold medal showing."

"And you can't forget the Women's balance beam which San Carlos Islands Gymnastics Powerhouse Viktoriya Atanasova will be competing it. Other than the All-round team event, Viktoriya has failed to put up a showing many have hoped for her and is running out of options for a medal in an individual event. Hopefully she can shine in this event and preform they way everyone wants to see her preform. Good luck Viktoriya!"

"See the Women's balance beam finals and others tomorrow, right here on SCTV Sports. I'm Kennedy Hayward."

"And like always I'm Foster Hayley. thanks for tuning into this special broadcast of SCTV Sports. Good night and godspeed to the San Carlos Olympic Team from SCTV, providing English broadcasting to the Commonwealth for nearly 40 years."

The Camera had both of them in the center as they pulled out green, white, and blue flags and shouted "GO TEAM SCI"

Noorderstein Olympic Studio
WBS-TV Studio

"Good evening, this is Samantha Lindl, sitting in for Philip Morrison who has the evening off. We just finished Day 14 of the Noorderstein Olympics Games, and an event-filled day it was. For more on the medal race, let's go to Andre Labri, on the street outside of the Olympic Stadium. Andre, tell us what went on today."

"Finals were held for a variety of different disciplines today, ranging from aquatics, track and field, gymnastics, and team sports. New Waldensia tacked on a gold medal in women's uneven bars and a bronze in men's pommel horse, to bring the total medal haul up to 34. There are still nearly 70 medals left to hand out in the duration of these Games, so look for that figure to go up significantly."

"The 4x100m relays were disappointing, though. Yesterday, two of the three teams in both men's and women's failed to advance [replays star showing clips]. The top men's team was in the lead but dropped the baton at the third leg transition in preliminaries. The top women's team crossed the lane and was DQ'd. Coaches for both were quite worked up about it."

[previously recorded interview snippet plays] [Men's track coach Kevin Snyder:] "It was an absolute wreck out there. No excuse whatsoever. They totally blew the opportunity. You can't do that here at the Olympics. Blown chance at bringing home medals, which the would have done. I don't know what else to say about it."

Lindl: "What do we have coming up tomorrow?"

Labri: "the men's 5K finals is tomorrow, two finalists there. The 4x400m relays are tomorrow as well, and the Waldensian women are big favorites to win. Two Waldensian men in javelin throw, one favored to medal; three women in high jump. Then we have women's marathon, and four gymnastics events."

"Sounds like another exciting day, the second to last here at Noorderstein. Thanks for that update, Andre. Now we go to Pablo Sanchez for an interview with gold medalist Sara Spencer."

Sanchez: "Thanks, Samantha. I'm here with Sara Spencer, fresh off a gold medal in uneven bars. Sara, tell us about that performance."

Spencer: "I'm so proud to have been able to win the gold here. It's been a lot of hard work and it is very rewarding to have the medal having around my neck. My coaches really pushed me and all the hard work over the years ended up paying off. The competition here was unlike any other, lots of really talented girls."

"What is your favorite moment so far these Games?"

"Well, obviously, standing on that podium with our national anthem playing was really special. I'm so proud to have gotten there. The opening ceremonies were amazing. There have been so many cool people I've met here, lots of great competitors here I've gotten to know, lots of great moments. Noorderstein is a nest town, we got to do a team event one of the first nights here that was a lot of fun, visiting local sights. We've still got some more disciplines coming up over the next two days, so still have time to come home with more medals, which we hope to do."

"We certainly hope you do as well. For WBS-TV, I'm Pablo Sanchez, reporting from the Olympic Games in Noorderstein."

"Such a great moment for Sara Spencer, and New Waldensia. We'll be right here, covering all the events tomorrow as the Noorderstein Games begin to draw to a close. Keep it right here for late local news. I'm Samantha Lindl, wishing you a good night."

This is the cutoff for day 14 RPs. RPs past this point will not count towards the day 15 RP bonus.

FBC News Broadcast
Afternoon, day 14

“Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to FBC news, reporting live from Noorderstein. I am Kristien Vleugel.”

“And I am Albert Verhoeff.”

“Today is the second day of the Gagiumish protest, in the same spot as yesterday.” The reporters were standing in a side walk. Behind them, protesters blocking the roads were seen, and a large group of cars piled up.

“Behind us are the first person shooter teams from Gagium and Furby Island. The Furbish team accepted a challenge yesterday, and both teams brought their desks and computers, and are playing right in the middle of the road.”

“Thousands of spectators gathered to watch the game, on two television screens placed near both groups.”

“The Furbish team refused to have an interview, but Caroline Breguet from Gagium accepted.”

The screen changed to both reporters standing with Breguet. Her name was shown on screen. “Good afternoon, Ms. Breguet”, began Verhoeff, “And thank you for accepting this interview.”

“Thank you for interviewing me.” she replied.

“Your team has challenged the Furbish first person shooter team to a rematch. What is your motivation behind that?”

“I don’t think David, uh, our team captain ran that through with me. But I suppose he’s trying to have a fair rematch with the Furbish, nothing more. Maybe to have some fun kicking their...beating them.”

“I see you have your computers set up here”, said Vleugel, “right in the middle of the highway, and in the Noorderstein sun. Mr. Baudet claimed this protest was over the heat. Is there any reason for choosing this location despite this?”

“I think that it’s a unique location, one where the people can watch us play against the Furbish while protesting for whatever reasons.”

“Were you expecting a quick response from the Furbish team, and them accepting your challenge?” asked Verhoeff.

“I didn’t expect them to accept, actually. But it’s cool that they did...”

Vleugel asked “Are you confident in defeating them this time around?”

“Yes, I think we can beat them. I think we will beat the Furbish boys. So god help them.”

“What makes you so sure, even after your defeat a week and a half ago?”

“The last rounds were just a warm-up. It’s all led to this.”

“We thank you for being here.” said Verhoeff.

“Thanks. I’ve always wanted to be thanked for blocking a highway..”

“I meant on this interview.”

“Ah”

The screen changed back to both reporters standing on the side of the road. Verhoeff said “The games are about to begin. The footage on these television screens behind us will be streamed to all the players’ YouTube accounts, as well as various other channels.” The two television screens looked large, and new, as if they were bought from a nearby store a few minutes ago and just dragged to the game. The screens were both split into sixteen smaller ones each, one for every player on each team. They were labeled accordingly. The game soon began. The reporters were more focused on covering the protests around the players than the games they played. Occasionally a player was see dropping a headset, which came with the beeping sound used to censor swears.

Soon, the games ended, and both screens were filled with words indicating the Furbish team won. Vleugel said “Once again, the Furbish team refused to have any interviews. David Baudet, the team captain, also refused an interview. But we managed to get one with Maïté Rodier, one of the Gagiumish players.” The screen changed to him standing with both reporters.

Vleugel began “Good afternoon, Mr. Rodier, and thank you for accepting this interview.”

“Thanks.” replied Rodier.

Verhoeff asked “How would you say these three games went for your team?”

“Excellent, we’ve gotten a bunch of media and people here to watch us. And our soda sales are through the roof.”

“And the games themselves?”

“They were fun.”

“Is this your only thought on the games, looking back?”

“Is it?”

“That is what I am asking you.”

“That is the question. But what I’ll say is.. no.”

Vleugel asked “Did you expect the Furbish team to win three games in a row?”

“No. I didn’t expect anything,”

“Before the game, your teammates, Mr. Baudet and Ms. Breguet said that your games a week and a half ago were only warm-ups, leading up to the game today. Do you agree with their view?”

“Yes. And these games were just warm-ups for next time.”

“When do you think this ‘next time’ will be?”

“I don’t know.”

“We thank you for being here.” said Verhoeff.

“Cool, thank you for interviewing me!”

The screen changed to both reporters again. Verhoeff said “Immediately after the game, the protesters all began walking away, as if they only wanted the rematch and do not care about the heat, as they said.”

“We thank you all for tuning in to FBC News This has been Kristien Vleugel.”

“And Albert Verhoeff from FBC Sports.”
FBC Sports Broadcast
Night, day 14

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the nightly Olympic recap on FBC Sports, reporting live from Noorderstein. I am Petra Lansink.”

“And I am Martijn Luiken. Today has gone extremely well for team Furby Island.”

“Beginning with aquatics, which today have been the best event for the Furbish team. Out of the five medal events, a Furbish athlete won a medal in each, four of which were gold.”

“We are getting ahead of ourselves. The first medal event is the women’s ten meter platform. Two of the three Furbish divers, Nesler and Raynor, moved on to the finals.”

“In the finals, Nesler pulled off some really impressive dives. She ended up winning over the judges, and finished in first place with the gold.”

“The next two events are the men’s and women’s four hundred meter butterfly.”

“In the men’s race, Eyer finished in first, over two and a half seconds past the next two swimmers.”

“The women’s race was closer, but Strain, the only Furbish swimmer in the finals, finished in first, under a second and a half behind second place.”

“The next race is the men’s marathon swim. It is the last water related event in the Games to begin from Gelderman’s Wharf, only the marathon is left.”

“In the marathon swim, Lanphere finished in third, not too far behind first place.”

“Finally, the women’s water polo finals were played today. The Furbish team defeated Novo Abrahamia eleven to eight, taking home the fourth gold medal.”

“The team played well in some of the other events, though not as well as the aquatics. Furby Island did moderately well in athletics.”

“Starting with the men’s four by one hundred meter relay, both teams, although they qualified, did not place in the top three.”

“The team fared worse in the four by four hundred meter relay, winning no spots in the finals tomorrow.”

“In the men’s hammer throw, no medals were won as well, but it was close. Diangelo, the best Furbish thrower, finished almost a meter behind third place.”

“The women’s athletics events, on the other hand, went better.”

“Ericson finished third in the women’s five kilometer run. This race was close in the top three, and nowhere else. Ericson finished only fractions of a second after the second place runner, but three and a half seconds after fourth place, and nearly eleven after fifth place.”

“In the women’s four by one hundred meter relay, Furby Island did not place in the top three.”

“In the four by four hundred meter relay, both teams qualified to the finals. However, they finished in seventh and eighth, but we still have hope for them.”

“The final athletics event today is the pole vault. At 4.75 meters, Letarte tied in first place with a pole vaulter from San Carlos Islands. The other two Furbish pole vaulters did not do as well.”

“In the women’s football bronze medal final, the Furbish team played well, defeating Ferlik two to nothing.”

“The next event is gymnastics. There, Furby Island did the worse out of any events today.”

“Out of the two men’s and women’s competitions, there was only one medal, won by Ipock in the men’s pommel horse.”

“In the Rhythmic gymnastics preliminary, Furby Island did better. Three out of four gymnasts qualified to the finals. Unfortunately, Beech, who was expected to win a medal in the Games, was not one of those three.”

“Volleyball is the sport where Furby Island did the best in. Even though medals were not awarded, unlike in aquatics, all three Furbish teams one in their respective events.”

“Sonnenberg and Carnahan won a game against a team from San Carlos Islands, while Sweetman and Barnhardt won against West Phoenicia. Both games were over in two sets.”

“Both teams will play against each other in the gold medal round. The former pair is predicted to win, but if previous games were any indicator, the results will not be expected.”

“The final event is the women’s indoor volleyball semifinals. There, Furby Island defeated Gagium, and will move on to the gold medal finals against San Carlos Islands.”

“Moving on to the demonstration events. In the women’s mediumweight chessboxing third place final, Vrabel lost the match. The game was close, with no conclusive results from chess. But she lost after the judges declared an Aeternitatian player the winner in the boxing portion.”

“Wii Sports Resort began its second day, with five more events played by the twenty-three players. Two famous Furbish gamers, Reiff and Canup, are in third and fourth place after the second day, respectively. They are far behind the top two places, however.”

“The final event today is the men’s underwater hockey semifinals. The Furbish team tied with Paleoconservative Citizens.”

“In the overtime, they lost by two points. We wish the Furbish team luck in the third place match against New Waldensia.”

“With all the medals won today, Furby Island not has eighteen golds, and is back in first place. The team has forty-five medals overall, behind only West Phoenicia’s fifty.”

“There are only two days left, and plenty of events to look forward to tomorrow, and seventy medals to still be awarded in the last two days.”

“The men’s ten meter platform preliminaries, and heats for the men’s and women’s medley relay heats will be at the Noorderstein Aquatics Center. Those three are the only events tomorrow where medals will no the awarded.”

“The men’s five kilometer run, four by four hundred meter relay, and javelin throw will have their finals. So will the women’s four by four hundred meter relay and high jump.”

“The women’s marathon will begin and end at Gelderman’s Wharf. The race will follow the course of the yearly Noorderstein Marathon, which begins and ends at Gelderman’s Wharf. The race goes past several historic sits, including past the statue of Napoleon, twice.”

“The men’s basketball and women’s football gold medal matches will take place tomorrow, though Furby Island will not be a part of them. However, medal ceremonies for both events will take place afterwards.”

“Three more apparatuses for artistic gymnastics will have their finals, the vault and rings for men, and balance beam for women. The finals for women’s individual rhythmic gymnastics will also take place, all at the Indoor Arena.”

“The last finals two medal events, men’s indoor and beach volleyball, will also take place. Furby Island will have teams competing for gold in both.”

“Finally, the demonstration events. Men’s lightweight and women’s heavyweight chessboxing, the last two weight classes which did not have their finals, will compete tomorrow.”

“The women’s underwater hockey teams will compete in the Noorderstein Aquatics Center as well.”

“Finally, the third and final day of Wii Sports Resort, and the last five events, will be played.”

“Speaking of esports, there has been some more news regarding them, specifically, the first person shooter teams.”

“The Gagiumish team organized a protest, blocking a highway, over what they said was the Noorderstein heat. They also challenged the Furbish team to a rematch, after a defeat in the fourth day.”

“Today, the Furbish team accepted. Both teams brought computers to the spot on the highway they blocked. They played best of five, but the Furbish team defeated them in three.”

“It was not even close, especially in the second game. Just after losing, the protest ended abruptly, and the road became unblocked.”

“An interview from last afternoon between the Gagiumish team captain and two FBC reporters went viral. In it, the captain claimed he would win, though he lost the game.”

“The audio once again went viral, and both teams were condemned for bad sportsmanship, just like their previous game. The Gagiumish team has also said sexual comments about one FBC reporter covering the match, though the reporter refused to comment on those afterwards.”

“In other news, a group of people who have been sacrificing rubber chickens gained more followers, going in the tens of thousands after the victories of the Furbish team today. The group has reportedly sent followers throughout the whole country to buy out stores’ supplies of rubber chickens.”

“We thank you all for tuning in to the nightly Olympic recap. This has been Martijn Luiken.”

“And Petra Lansink from FBC Sports.”

“Good night.”

Men's 4x400m Relay
Noorderstein, Furbish Islands

Cyrille Aliker, Orlando Aguayo, Ryan Hardy, Achille Balzac were prepared. They had trained months ahead of the Olympics for the relay, running several hours nearly every day and studying times of other athletes from other nations who would be competing at the events. They had all grown up in the heartland of Gagium, practically in the same town, and all had been avid runners since they were kids. They were briefly all friends during grade school, but college had driven them there separate ways.

That was, until the Gagiumish Olympiad Committee had announced that they were seeking out broader participation in the Olympics ahead of these games, and were actively recruiting athletes in nearly all sports to compete. Orlando Aguayo signed on first, proving that he had the necessary speed and stamina to participate in the olympics. The Gagiumish Olympiad Committee told Orlando that he would fit in perfectly on the nation's 4x400m Relay team, and asked him if he knew any other runners throughout his career that were interested in participating.

He called up his childhood friend Ryan Hardy, and after a phone conversation affirmed that Ryan would be interested in participating - and had been actively running and preparing for participating, something Orlando had not known. Ryan was invited to participate in trials, and when he showed up a few days later, he came with Cyrille Aliker and Achille Balzac. Orlando Aguayo heartily had greeted them when he found out they were interested, and was more than glad to discover that they all qualified by more than enough. By a longshot, really.

After they all qualified, the team began preparing for the games, returning to the heartland of the nation to practice. They spent hours jogging and sprinting alongside the vast-stretching farmlands and plains of the countryside, stopping by at the local towns' taverns and bars after practice every day. Their family all congratulated them and told the athletes of how proud they were. A week before today, after the games had already started and were in full motion in Noorderstein, they flew out of the nation, landing at Noorderstein's international airport before commuting to the Olympic Village and arriving at their quarters.

There the athletes continued their regular training routine, waking up as early as four in the morning to run through the Olympic village's paths and around its buildings. Though some of them had other events to run in, they were most excited about the relay, finally being able to fulfill their dream as Olympic athletes - Together, too.

The day had finally come though. They ate and left the Olympic Village separately, commuting to the massive Noorderstein Olympic for the 4x400m relay. A short time later, they were on the track, ready for the relay and everything they had worked towards for the past several days, weeks, months. On the track, they lined up on their positions around the curve, where spectators from all nationalities were waiting. Cyrille Aliker was first to run his lap, starting off well. Aliker glanced at the admittedly rather sparse crowds in the stadium as he ran, throwing a look at a runner behind him once or twice.

Now in a brief sweat, he began to slightly fall behind a New Waldensian athlete before a West Phoenician narrowly passed him up, the athletes from the two countries handing their batons over to their runners shortly before Aliker handed his to Orlando Aguayo, who began sprinting. He enjoyed looking at the crowds too, though began profoundly sweating due to the heat as he rounded the second corner and began running towards Ryan Hardy. He passed the West Phoenician runner on the final approach, hand his baton off to Ryan before getting on his knees. Ryan began running and was able to more or less maintain the same position ahead of the West Phoenician relay and behind the New Waldensian relay, albeit gaining some ground, before he handed his baton to Achille Balzac, who wasn't going to walk home with a silver.

Achille took off, rounding the corner and then sprinting after the New Waldensian runner, who was very narrowly ahead of him. Crowds and stadium passed Achille before his eyes, and he rounded the corner again, still in the same insufferable position behind the New Waldensian athlete. Sweating and breathing heavily, he had a thought that he should just let the New Waldensian stay ahead - no. Achille moved his legs and arms to the best of his ability, running past the finish line with the New Waldensian. He nearly collapsed on the ground before smiling. That looked more like a tie than anything in his opinion, though the rest of the Gagiumish relay was smiling at him, thinking that he's done it.

After a short intermission, it was revealed that they had done it, by two hundredths of a second. It seemed like the games were taking a better turn for the nation, as if God had smiled upon Gagium for these events and granted them the opportunity to win gold. Which it dawned on them that they had. Smiling and laughing, they came together and celebrated. They made their way to the podium and smiled, excited and happy of their win. Though none of them honestly knew the lyrics to the Gagiumish national anthem, they stood proudly for the nation and rejoiced.

After a short interview with two Gagiumish reporters from different media outlets, they all returned to the Olympic Village to settle down at the bar, have a few drinks, and celebrate. They found a nice table to sit down at and reflected upon their accomplishment, proud to have won a medal for themselves and for Gagium and still reeling from the moment when they realized they won first in the relay.

OOC I'll be posting one or maybe two other roleplay posts ahead of tomorrow's deadline, they just won't be contained within this post.

Noorderstein, Furby Island; Women's Balance Beam Finals
Afternoon; Day 15
Viktoriya took in a deep breath and held it for a few seconds, she exhaled and did it over again.

"Calm down." She said to herself. "Focus is key."

Viktoriya faced the beam as Hazel Warner of New Waldensia started her routine, but she wasn't focusing on the foreign gymnast; rather, her routine and how she would succeed at the event and end what she saw as a "losing streak" since the Women's Artistic Gymnastic All-round team event.

As the New Waldensian athlete was warping up, Nazar Konstantinov who was the head coach of SCI Women's Gymnastics hugged her.

He whispered to her "You're up next. But you've got this! All it takes is focus, determination, and strength. Be your best self out there, remember all we've shown you all these years. Good luck!"

Viktoriya grinned has he walked away. She thought to herself, "I have all of that, I do show my best self, I'm only doing everything you've shown me. Nevertheless, I still suck. What a lying twat!"

She took in another deep breath and held it for a few more seconds... And exhaled.

The New Waldensian was finished, Viktoriya was was up.

She strutted up the starting area and stood there in a starting pose.

"This is your second to last chance to prove yourself!" She thought to herself. "Don't listen to the so called 'positive and encouraging' voices, they're wrong! You lack nothing! Let's show them what you've got."

Viktoriya ran forwards, breaking into a front handspring onto a trampoline and into a cartwheel on the beam, landing in an upright position.

After positioning herself on the actual beam, she danced towards the end of the beam, eventually spinning her entire body over to the end. Viktoriya did a front flip to the middle of the beam followed by a back flip back to the end.

She strutted to the middle of the beam, did a cartwheel and then jumped as high as she could, kicking out her right leg in the air.

After landing she started to dance backwards to the middle of the beam and almost immediately twirled. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, she made a small slip. "Oh fuck no!" She thought to herself. "If I screwed up again. UGH."

Nevertheless she continued, dancing to the end of the beam again, and then twirling back to the opposite end, jumping as the cheery on top and turning back around after landing.

She ran back to the middle, jumped again, and then proceeded into a back handspring.

From that point Viktoriya did a handstand and proceeded to move her legs down to between the the beam, dancing from that position and quickly getting back up when finished. She composed herself after getting back up and moved to the middle, pausing in position to do one last move.

She jolted as fast as she could down the beam, jumping off into a 820 degree corkscrew, landing with her arms in the air.

Nazar soon greeted her, "You've got this he said! That's a medal winning performance!"

"Yeah right." She thought to herself, walking around the the place the other San Carlos Islands Women's Gymnastics Olympians were congregating. From there she watched the rest of the competition.

As she watched it became clearer she would again not get a medal, yet alone a gold. Fellow Islander Yulia Antonova did obviously better than her, and multiple foreigners did better than Yulia.

As the results were finalized, her suspicions were confirmed...

4th place. She rolled her eyes. Difficulty score was "Meh." Execution score "Sucked."

As she was in the van from the Gymnasium to the Olympic Village, she thought to herself; "Better luck next time Viktoriya!" and "The Floor event is yours to win!"...

"Ugh! It's bloodspilling!"

She looked out of the window at the crowed streets of the City of Noorderstein during this busy time.

"How to I win it all tomorrow?"

Noorderstein, Furby Island; Olympic Village
Night; Day 15
Aliya Viktorova, Team Captain of the San Carlos Islands National Indoor Volleyball stood in front of her team which included players Evgenia Kuznetsova, Aksinya Krupina, Elena Utkina, Alexis Van Alst, and Madelyn Jones (who played Libero); as well as some substitutes who gathered in one of the Common rooms in the Village.

She smiled. "Well girls It's been a great run!"

Elena threw her a volleyball which she took and started bumping up and down as she faced the other players. "Day one we beat those damn West Phoenicians! Day two... I'll get back to that one. Day three we took down Novo Abrahamia. And In the semifinals we slaughtered Aeternitatia."

She paused. "Now back to day two... Furby Island." Aliya stuck out her tongue and stuck out her hand with her thumbs down. The other girls 'Booed'.

As they quieted, she continued. "Furby Island... This country sucks more dick than the sluts on that team." A few people laughed.

She put down the volleyball and cracked open a Beer, taking a sip. "Furby Island... Our opponents tomorrow. We've matched them already, we've beat them; let's do it again!"

She took another sip. "We're undefeated, we're probably the best team here but that doesn't mean we'll not play as hard as we have. Am I right girls?"

They all nodded.

"Very well! So... What are we going to do tomorrow?"

They shouted, "PLAY OUR HARDEST!"

Aliya continued, "What's our goal?"

The response was, "BEAT FURBY ISLAND!"

Aliya smiled. "Very well! Than raise your glass to the 2019 Summer Olympic Women's Indoor Volleyball Gold Medalists!"

They all lifted cans, bottles, and glasses of foreign beer and other various mixed drinks over their heads.

The Team Captain smiled. "Go team SCI!" She paused. "Just don't drink too much, we got a game tomorrow!" She paused again. "No seriously."

After about an hour later, after things were a little less rowdy. Aliya stood back up. She coughed.

"Before you get some rest. One last thing!" She pulled out a brown paper bag. "Team building!"

Aliya motioned the team to follow her. They went down the stairs into the lobby of the the building and then outside. She lead them over to the area where the Commonwealth's Olympic staff took the support animals out to relieve them selves.

She took a blue rubber glove out of her pocket and picked up what was presumably 'dog shit' and put it in the bag, filling it. After doing that she rolled the bag up and removed the glove.

Aliya told the team to follow her back into another dormitory. They walked up to the floor the team they would be playing tomorrow was residing in, surprisingly without any resistance.

Aliya slowly waked to the middle of the hallway as everyone else followed.

She took out another rubber glove and started throwing it all over the hallway, surprisingly no one was there to notice.

They quickly left the dormitory and made it back to their own. Making their way to sleep at about 01:00.

Whatever happened with the 'dog shit' we may never know. Legend team building exercise though!

Noorderstein, Furby Island
Night; Day 15
On day 14 of the Summer Olympics the intro that the daily San Carlos TV (SCTV) sports broadcast, covering all the insides and outs of the San Carlos Islands National Olympic team introduced yesterday was shown again today. There would be an interview today with the Women's 4x100m medley relay team.

- Today we will interview the San Carlos Islands Women's 4x100m medley relay team. his team consists of Women's 100m Breaststroke Gold and Women's 100m Butterfly Silver medalist Anastazija Kuznetsova, Roxanne Larson, Virginia Woodward, and Women's Women's 400m Butterfly Silver medalist Doroteja Petrova. Welcome to the show girls!"

The camera turned to them. The four girls who were wearing their San Carlos Islands Black Olympic uniforms waved at the camera and smiled.

Focus was soon back on on Foster. "So girls, let's get right into it! The most important question is, how do you think you'll fare tomorrow in the 4x100m medley relay event."

Anastazija, being the most decorated swimmer on the team naturally took lead and responded. "Well Foster, I'll tell you this. We're not going to disappoint anyone tomorrow! Me and Roxanne and Virginia and of course Doroteja make a really great team. One thing is for sure, we're all going to try our hardest, we're all going to never give up, and we all are here to win. That, I hope we can do!"

Foster smiled. "Very good, very good! We'll be watching the 4x100m medley relay right here on SCTV, us and all are viewers will be tuning in and we really wish you the best of luck!"

"Thank you Foster." responded Anastazija.

The camera turned to Kennedy who would ask the next question.

Kennedy smiled and looked at her notes. "So how does it feel to be competing in the last swimming event of the 2019 Noorderstein Olympics?"

Anastazija smiled. "I fells really good to be part of the, 'crown jewel', would you of the Olympiad's swimming competition. Because this is so huge, being that last event as well as a finals event, a lot of people from across the world are going to tuning in to watch. I think we're all flattered to be part of that and it's another reason why we're going to try our hardest tomorrow to take home that gold medal."

The Camera turned back to Foster who would ask the last question. "This is for Roxanne and Virginia; What feelings come with competing alongside two San Carlos Islands swimming powerhouses?"

Virginia laughed. "Well, I don't know what answer you want, but I'll tell you this; I think I'm speaking for the both of us here when I say, we're not phased at all by competing along side them. It's actually an honor to be quite honest. I think as we'e worked with them they've made us better swimmers and better team mates and we're both extremely thankful for that. I love you guys!"

Foster smiled. "And we love this team! Good luck tomorrow girls, we hope you can pull through!"

The team thanked Foster and Kennedy for having her on the show.

After shaking hands Foster and Kennedy, the girls left the set and the program moved into a commercial break.

-

The program rolled back onto TVs in the San Carlos Islands with the focus on Kennedy.

"So San Carlos Islands, here's your rundown of today's happens here in Noorderstein."

She continued. "Looking at the medal count, despite winning twelve medals today; four Gold and three Silver. Sadly, the San Carlos Islands will still lag behind by one gold medal in the big medal count picture. However that can be easily changed tomorrow and we'll discuss what will have to happen for us to take back the lead on the last day and win the overall medal count.

The camera turned back to Foster. "But first, here are today's medalists. For the golds;"

"First, the San Carlos Islands Women's Athletics relay team did it again by taking home the gold for the Women's 4x400m Relay. This team consisting of Matilda Norfolk who we interviewed yesterday, Colleen Jones, Eleonora Lagounova, & Nevena Konstantinova beat out the next closest competitor, another team from Aeternitatia, by merely four miliseconds! I don't know about you Kennedy, but that team has two golds now, some have more medals in other events, you know they'll be flying back to the San Carlos Islands happy. Well done girls!"

"Second, Rosa Becker will take home the gold in the Women's High Jump with a total score of 2.03. Two points behind her with a score of 2.01 was another native of the San Carlos Islands Nevena Konstantinova who also competed in the relay events. She will be taking home a silver in this event."

"Last but not least. The San Carlos Islands Men's Basketball team echoed the success of the Women who played before them beating West Phoenicia with a score of 84 to 76, ending an undefeated run at this Olympiad. They will be going home with gold medals."

The camera turned to Kennedy. "For today's silver medals; other than Nevena Konstantinova whom we've already mentioned, Matilda Norfolk who was also on that relay team took home her fourth medal today, a silver that would serve to give the girl a trifecta, in the Women's marathon. Matilda was only about two seconds away from the gold."

"Finally, Yulia Antonova will bring home a silver in the Women's Balance Beam, scoring a 15.950, .150 points away from the Gold."

The focus shifted to Foster. "As we noted, we are out of first in the medal count by just ONE gold medal, here is where we think we can win some to take the lead."

"First Women's indoor volleyball. This match is key to winning the medal count as it's against the one country that has more golds than us, that is of course the Furby Islands, the host nation. If we can win we will win a gold while denying them one, however if we lose the same happens to us. However our expert opinion is no to let your hopes down about this event. The San Carlos Islands Women's Indoor Volleyball team remains undefeated and even beat the Furbish Islands in matchday two, that alone proves they can do this tomorrow and we here at SCTV sports really believe they can."

"Second, the Women's floor. Star San Carlos Islands gymnast Viktoriya Atanasova failed again to win a medal today in the Women's beam finals. However, as the San Carlos Islands Women's artistic gymnastics floor specialist, even being the main reason why we won the All-round team event, paired with the determination to prove herself once and for all, we believe this will be her comeback event."

"Third, the Woman's 4x100m medley relay team. These girls were just in the studio earlier in the program for an interview, and they seem confident they can preform well in this event. Two of the women on this team are medalists, the other two have beat all expectations in certain events, especially Virginia Woodward who's gotten a lot of coverage in the past week or two for proving herself to be a rising star in the realm of San Carlos Islands swimming and aquatics events. This team came in 5th in the finals qualifier lagging behind first by two seconds,, but taking the lesson from the Woman's 4x100, a team that was actually in eighth, performance in events before the final doesn't define the team, and victory is still highly reachable. We'll of course be rooting for this team tomorrow."

"See the Woman's 4x100m medley relay team, right here on SCTV Sports. I'm Foster Hayley."

"And like always I'm Kennedy Hayward. thanks for tuning into this special broadcast of SCTV Sports. Good night and godspeed to the San Carlos Olympic Team from SCTV, providing English broadcasting to the Commonwealth for nearly 40 years."

The Camera had both of them in the center as they pulled out green, white, and blue flags and shouted "GO TEAM SCI"

West Phoenicia has done it! A medal target going into the First Federation of Conservative Nations Olympiad had been set by The West Phoenician Olympic Committee of 50 medals.
By Day 15, the team had pushed passed the goal after winning a slew of medals in Artistic gymnastics that helped pass the goal. Basketball, volleyball and athletes from the Track and Field teams added to the tally with glowing performances that helped the team climb to 58 medals.
Going into the last day of the games and with West Phoenicians in a number of finals there is a strong chance that we can reach 60 medals.

We break down where West Phoenicia has a chance.

Diving-Men's 10m platform

Three West Phoenician divers have sailed through preliminaries with some wonderful results. They will now compete in the semi-finals where all three hope that their performances tomorrow will lead them into the finals, with all three submitting high degrees of difficulty to their dives, in the hopes to edge out the competition. With 5 medals obtained for diving already during these games, these three men are battling for the chance to add at least another medal to the tally.
Clyde Parker is also hoping to add to his medal haul after he and Toby Scott pulled in a bronze win in the Synchronized 10m platform.
The three West Phoenicians are;

Name:Peter Peng
Age: 34
Titles:
U.S Summer Games silver medal in 10m Platform Synchro alongside Chang Wei
Olympic Games in The Free Republics bronze medal in Men's Synchronized 10 m Platform alongside Chang Wei
Bio:

Peter and team mate Chang Wei are two divers who work well alongside each other. Both doing better in Syncho than individual. Peter hails from the West Phoenician city-state of Lower West Phoenicia, where his family owned a number of silver mines. Found a talent for diving in high school where he would sweep the competition. On the team he is most famous for his triple twists and pushing to perform the more difficult dives that will give him a higher difficult score. He lists his parents as the people who have most inspired him.

Name:Chang Wei
Age: 35
Titles:
U.S Summer Games silver medal in 10m Platform Synchro alongside Peter Peng
Olympic Games in The Free Republics bronze medal in Men's Synchronized 10 m Platform alongside Peter Peng
Bio:
Hailing from the West Phoenician city-state of Scarlett Oriental Isles, Chang is a well seasoned diver who has won multiple medals both on the national and international level. And he is in a great position to pull in a few more medals over the next few international tournaments.
He has confirmed that he will be retiring after the next Summer Olympic Games, where he hopes to work as a diving coach for teenagers looking to enter the sport of diving. In his pastime he enjoys kickboxing and photography.

Name: Clyde Parker
Age: 30
Titles:
U.S Summer Games Bronze medal in 3m Springboard Synchro alongside Toby Scott.
First Federation of Conservative Nations Olympiad Bronze medal in the Men's Synchronized 10m platform alongside Toby Scott.

Bio:
Clyde Parker is considered a second string diver for the West Phoenician team. While he has pulled in medals at international events, he is yet to score the big one at the NS Olympic Games. He did come close placing 10th in the Mens 10m Platform finals in the Free Republics after having a good first beginning in the preliminary by placing third. He is well skilled in the Reverse 1 ½ fuck dive and has one of the best pike positions on The team. Clyde originally hails from the West Phoenician city-state of Nova Texas. He has made mention when he retires he would love to open up a Cupcake Bakery.

Swimming- Men's 4x100m medley relay

Tom Zealand/Pete Load/Sean O'Haven/James Skittles

The foursome got lucky in the relay, they scraped through in the top 8 that will swim in the finals. They did better than the other team who were disqualified when Ricky Leah dived into the pool too soon, false start was given to the whole team who were disappointed they would not be swimming. Don't expect too much magic from the remaining team. Tom Zealand is the best performer of the four, having won a number of medals at previous Olympics. Tom is a good starting swimmer as his fast strokes enable the team to get a good lead, which slowly starts to shrink when the other swimmers have their turn.
While the event earned West Phoenicia a silver medal at the Summer Olympic Games in The Free Republics. This time around too many of the weaker swimmers are on the team and it's unlikely Tom Zealand can carry them all across the line. At it may be an event that West Phoenicia will either need to fill with top notch swimmers or drop completely from their line up.

Swimming- Women's 4x100m medley relay

Davina Auckland/Ellen Stuart/Kylie Stuart/Melanie Power

This is a strong group filled with strong female swimmers. Three are medal winners in their own events at these games and Ellen Stuart even pulled in a gold medal win. While also bringing home medals from other Olympic Games and international swimming events over the years, this is one of the better relay teams in swimming West Phoenicia has entered over the years. They made great time placing first in their heat, which has progressed them to the finals. Where all four will more then likely swim really well. This is an event where West Phoenicians are asked to come out and support these ladies. They have strong hopes of placing, helping the swimming team that has had some struggles at these games. They will be up against strong competition from
Aeternitatia and Eldrado.

Athletics- Men's marathon
Out of the four West Phoenicians entered into this event, West Phoenicians Prince Malachi De Bush and Tariq Tyre are the hot favourites to bring home a medal for this event.

Prince Malachi's full name is Prince Malachi Gryphon- Bush Eupator. The 19 year old son of Emperor Glenton Gryphon-Bush II and his second wife Empress Alotta. Growing up in the royal palace and a fan long distance running, Empress
Alotta hired the best coaches around to train her son to an elite level, money had not been a problem and over the years his skills have increased making him one of the best marathon runners in the nation.
Her Ruthless and competitive attitude in wanting the best for her children, has not gone unnoticed with many courtiers believing she is not someone to mess with and if she is this ruthless in wanting her son to excel in sports, what would she do to get her son in the throne.
It also appear Prince Malachi also has some of his mother's traits with his desire to want to win.
Team mate Tariq Tyre said it can be challenging at times, while he didn't have the same opportunities In working with the best coaches and facilities he has worked his way up to be one of the best in this event.

"I enjoy the marathon, but I am often worried, should I underperform to allow the Prince to win, I don't want to offend the royal family. But I'll be going out there tomorrow with a winners mindset. The Furby Islands and San Carlos Islands are pulling in a lot of gold. We are a booming Empire and they are islands. We can't let this happen."

Men's parallel bars

Jimmy Saigon

Jimmy Saigon has been a true champion at these games. He has 4 medals under his belt. 3 silver and 1 bronze. He stands alone as the sole West Phoenician representative in the parallel bars. Jimmy is definitely looking to add another medal to his tally and what better than adding a gold. Will the parallel bars be the event where he will reign supreme? He placed fourth in the qualifiers. But he is up against Craig Haner and Lynwood Ipock from The Furby Islands who have the home team advantage. And two members from The San Carlos Islands who would do anything to win. "Let's hope they suffer the qualifiers curse and I can pull out a good routine with strong technique tomorrow."

Men's horizontal Bars

Jimmy Saigon
Grayson Cole
Daniel Israeli

Three of West Phoenicia's top three male artistic gymnasts will face off against each other in the Horizontal Bars. "We would love to have a gold, silver bronze finish. With me in the gold medal spot," jokes Daniel Israeli. We performed enough to get through the qualifiers, but come the final we are going to wow the audience. We will be focusing on Mixed grips as we perform our giants, in bar work and turns have been improved and an area that has been improved to give one a clean routine.
And our releases and land flawless. We have done this over and over, we could perform it in our sleep. Daniel and Jimmy two of the higher performers of the trio would be the ones to watch as it's not just about competition against other teams, but against each other.

Women's floor

Melissa St Marie
Scarlett Gellar

There is no love lost between these two teammates who will battle it out for a chance to take him gold in the women's floor.
With West Phoenicia taking out the gold in the men's event, Can the women pull off a similar victory.
Scarlett has described Melissa as a bully and fat she met who has no place on the team. While Melissa accuses Scarlett of being a whore who slept her way onto the team and whose floor work is shoddy. Both women have had words before, and West Phoenicians Will most likely flock to the event not to see who can place but to see who can create the most drama.
Both women have 90 seconds to wow the judges with their skill and technique. Scarlett has chosen music more modern to perform to which suits her style and ability, while Melissa is going the more old time traditional route with her equally mixes and classic dance and acrobatic moves that she has used at other events.
Both girls will be looking to impress the judges in difficulty, artistry, demonstration of required elements, and overall performance quality.

"I wish her the best of luck. Steps outside the designated perimeters of the floor incur deductions So fingers crossed other nations mess that up." Melissa St Marie said.

Women's rhythmic team all round

Lady Arsinoe Ptolemy II took out the gold in the all round individual,
Can the women's team follow suit at these games?

They took out the gold in a stunning victory at the Summer Olympic Games in The Free Republics and the same girls are back to do it again. There dazzling routine will focus on 3 balls and 2 ribbons, ribbons of gold and the balls of purple two of the nation's colours for their mixed performance and hoops for their single apparatus performance. The team. Is on fire and ready to hit the floor with their performance of elements of ballet, gymnastics, dance, they are also a team who puts the whole story into the performance.
Instead of performing the routine that won them gold previously, the women are stepping out with a new routine dubbed Fire and Ice.
With so much talent within the team and having one of the best creative directors on the circuits there are very high hopes these women will place.

Women's beach volleyball

Kylie Wolfe and Cleopatra True-Path will play off in the bronze medal event against Kennedy Goldy/Valaria Pavlova from the San Carlos Islands. after both teams lost against The Furby Islands.
The two women have come together after originally competing on opposing teams. Team coaches felt this pair should unite to be a more domineering force, which has been proven correct, they perform better as a pair than they did with their previous partners.
Kylie Wolfe and Cleopatra True-Path were thrown off during the semi finals when they let themselves be beaten by Alma Sweetman/Patrice Barnhardt of The Furby Islands. It was a devastating blow, it was the first time we have made semi-finals, and both were close matches. They were just better on the day and had the home turf advantage. We now face off against The San Carlos Island pair Kennedy Goldy/Valaria Pavlova. It would be remarkable if we could pull in the bronze win, it would be a first for beach volleyball for West Phoenicia.

"Isn't Pavlova a dessert?" Cleopatra questioned. "We wish them the best of luck, I'm sure it will be a tight game between both nations. But I think we have the drive to take out the game.

The West Phoenician Olympic Committee wishes all these athletes the best of luck and may the Gods, Goddess and Animal Deities bless them with success
The First Federation of Conservative Nations Olympiad has been an amazing event to take part in. We have had so many wins, some of them a first for West Phoenicia, especially in Basketball and Indoor Vleyball. The whole delegation can walk away as winners.

Random Hotel
Noorderstein, Furbish Islands

The man sighed, staring at the news. Day 16, Furbish win after Furbish win, while his homeland, Gagium, suffered. This wasn't what he paid for. He didn't go through the trouble of getting a visa, paying for that, paying for tickets to come here, and booking a hotel for all this. The man was quite frankly outraged and disappointment. Time after time over the past few days he came to events to see his nation win. Which, well, Gagium did. Just not in the events he came to see.

Whatever. It was time. He hauled himself out of bed, walking to the corner of his room before stopping at a large suitcase. He was proud of getting this one past security, very proud indeed. He opened up the suitcase, revealing his massive anime hentai collection..shit, wrong one. The man facepalmed himself, sending himself to the ground before getting up. This suitcase, this was the right one. He smiled, opening the suitcase and revealing his Gagiumish-made assault rifle, coupled with plenty of magazines. Excellent. He grabbed the rifle, inspecting it with a smile, before aiming it at various places. It was time.

He looked at the rifle, admiring its articulate design and layout, before turning back to the news. Live coverage of these damned games were about to begin. He was ready should today be another disappointment. The man began maniacally laughing, pointing his rifle at the television and shooting a few rounds at the TV and at the reporters. The fools. He smiled, turning away from the TV and looking out of the window. The man murmured to himself, "It's nerf or nothing".

Guys chill, it's just a nerf gun.

Some Olympic Village Lounge
Noorderstein, Furbish Islands

The Gagiumish Women's Soccer team, consisting of Frédérique Boulle, Claire Stuart, Félicité Baillairgé, Gwendoline Cartier, Agathe Rouanet, Nathalie Dutertre, Juliette Lajoie, Ava Fields, Hayleigh Fuller, Reese Hoover, and Ashlyn Park, (Plus substitutes) crowded around the television screen, waiting for live Olympic coverage to begin. Today wasn't an especially interesting day at first glance - Just a few gymnastics, volleyball, and some athletic events. But they also heard something else - That there'd be coverage of the battle royale, the game's meme event, even moreso than the FPS.

Claire Stuart nudged Ashlyn Park. "God, look at these reporters. I'll bet y'all they get paid for their looks. They're not even that good looking though." Ashlyn murmured, "I'd accept that bet if I didn't agree with you. Hey, Nathalie, you gonna finish that?"

Nathalie Dutertre looked at her wine and frowned. "No, I don't think I will..here. Drink it up, girl." She slid over the wine glass over to Ashlyn, who began aggressively sipping on it. Claire sighed and looked at the rest of the team there. "Okay, fine, I'll come up with a new bet. $600 that Gagium won't win the Battle Royale squad-"

The team gasped. How dare she suggest that they wouldn't win? Juliette Lajoie frowned at her and asked, "Who the hell do you think will? We've got the best gamers in the country."

Half of the team snickered, while Claire looked at her, squinting. "$600 on West Phoenicia. They're cursed."

"Nah, $700 on..erm..Rhineland whatever."

The team broke out into arguing over who they thought would win the battle royale event and medals today, while official live coverage of the Olympics began.

This is the cutoff for day 15 RPs. RPs past this point will not count towards the day 16 RP bonus.

FBC News Broadcast
Afternoon, day 15

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to FBC News, reporting live from Noorderstein. I am Petra Lansink.”

“And I am Martijn Luiken. Tomorrow will be the last day of the Games, and with that, a question looms over Noorderstein. What should be done with the venues?”

“After the closing ceremony tomorrow, foreign athletes, spectators, and media will leave the city. The FSA will leave after the rest of them. This decision will be made by the City of Noorderstein alone, and will likely not be reported by foreign media.”

“As outlined by the host bid, nine venues exist for the Games. One of them, Westerlaan Stadium, was preexisting.”

“The Olympic Beach Volleyball Stadium is simply seats added on to a Noorderstein beach. This will be demolished shortly after the completion of the Games. Gelderman’s Wharf also has seating for five thousand people built. This will be demolished as well.”

“This leaves six permanent venues, which were built just for the occasion, some of which nobody knows what to do with.”

“The Olympic Basketball Stadium, which hosted basketball events, already has a planned use. A Noorderstein basketball club had their old stadium demolished in favor of the new one, with a significantly larger capacity.”

“Four other stadiums, the Noorderstein Aquatics Center, Olympic Archery Range, Olympic Indoor Arena, and the Olympic Shooting Range, do not have any planned use.”

“The mayor of Noorderstein, Mariet Wenmerink, who has been a strong proponent of the Games, did not say anything besides her intentions of keeping the stadiums.”

“A member of Noorderstein’s legislature has said the following about the stadiums.” The screen changed to the politician, speaking at a podium. “The stadiums do not have to be used every day.” he said, “They weren’t even used every day during the Games. But we will find some use for them.”

“Some said there may be future competitions in these venues, though many responded by saying these competitions will be few and far between, and the stadiums will ultimately be a liability for the city.”

“The final venue, the Noorderstein Olympic Stadium, has generated controversies of its own.”

“This stemmed from a decision by the organizers to have all events, including football, within the city. Football events were usually spread out in the host country in large games like these.”

“Westerlaan Stadium was used for the later matches, and the Noorderstein Olympic Stadium began used for athletics. With athletics nearly over, a debate sprang up on what to do with it.”

“Wenmerink said she intends to keep both this stadium and Westerlaan. Demolishing one or the other would look bad, according to her. She also plans to keep them well maintained. Though people said this would be a drain on the city and its budget.”

“Many people have suggested demolishing either Westerlaan or Noorderstein Olympic Stadium. Arguments for keeping the former include it being a historic stadium, and its central location in the city makes traveling there easier. Many of the older generations want that stadium to be kept, but it has been alleged that some politicians wishing to keep that had some ‘talks’ with lobbyists from the car company of the same name.”

“Some of the younger generation wish to keep the latter stadium, saying it is more modern, and has a larger capacity.”

“Several Noorderstein legislators have addressed this debate, and said both stadiums will be kept.”

“A final question is what to do with the village. Various solutions have been suggested, from turning the towers into apartments, hotels, museums, demolishing them, or auctioning them off and letting the companies do as they wish.”

“Wenmerink said she wishes Noorderstein to be a host city for future Games, and wants the same venues to remain, including the village. The only option to achieve this would to leave the buildings abandoned, or let hotels operate inside buildings they do not own and prevent them from working for a few weeks.”

“Plans for the towers have been the one thing that is uncertain. For now, they will remain abandoned, but in government hands.”

“The legislators and bureaucrats managing the buildings will continue debating, and so will people on the streets. All that is known so far is that many of the venues will now sit empty, leaching off of Noorderstein’s treasury until people agree on what is to be done.”

“We thank you all for tuning in to FBC News. This has been Martijn Luiken.”

“And Petra Lansink from FBC.”
FBC Sports Broadcast
Night, day 15

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the nightly Olympic recap on FBC Sports, reporting live from Noorderstein. I am Petra Lansink.”

“And I am Martijn Luiken. Today is the second to last day of the Games, and once again, the Furbish team did extremely well.”

“Beginning with diving again with diving. Only two Furbish divers qualified to the semifinals. Kennon placed in third, however, and has a good chance of advancing to the semifinals and finals.”

“In the men’s four by one hundred medley relay, both Furbish teams raced in the second heat. One team placed first in the heat, and first overall.”

“The second team finished fourth in the heat, eighth overall, barely making it to the finals.”

“The women’s team did worse in their event. Only one team qualified, finishing in sxith.”

“Today was the last day of athletics in the Games. It went moderately well for the Furbish team.”

“The men’s five kilometer run was close, but no Furbish athletes won medal in the event.”

“Javelin throw went well, on the other hand. Carbonell finished in first, and Grief in second. The team was not even too far off from sweeping the podium in the event.”

“In the women’s four by four hundred meter relay, one Furbish team finished in third, winning the first bronze medal today.”

“Despite four Furbish athletes qualifying for the women’s high jump finals, no medals were won for this event. However, some, including Broady, were close.”

“In the women’s marathon, no Furbish runners placed in the top three either. The results in general were slow for the run, not even close to the record for the Noorderstein Marathon.”

“In artistic gymnastics, Furby Island did well, better than yesterday. Ipock won another medal, silver in men’s rings.”

“Hutton finished first in the women’s balance beam, adding another gold to Furby Island’s medal count.”

“The next event, the all round individual final for women’s rhythmic gymnastics, also went well. Furby Island did not win a gold medal this round, but Ebarb finished in second, and Rick in third.”

“The final medal event today is volleyball. Men’s indoor and beach had their finals.”

“Stgermain and Mohamed defeated an Aeternitatian team in the gold medal final. In the bronze medal game, Fausto and Semon won the game against a New Waldensian team.”

“Both games were won over three sets. In men’s indoor volleyball, Furby Island defeated West Phoenicia, this one also over the course of three sets. The Furbish team won all three, some of which were close.”

“Some of the demonstration events also went well today.”

“In chessboxing, the finals for the last two weight classes, men’s lightweight and women’s heavyweight, were played. Both games had a Furbihs player in the first place final, who lost.”

“Wii Sports Resort saw its third and final day. In all, a Furbish player, Reiff, finished in first place for today and overall.”

“In the women’s underwater hockey final, Furby Island defeated Aeternitatia, and is in first place for this event.”

The reporters spent time discussing events tomorrow, before wishing the audience a good night.
