Tournoi des Patriotes III

Le tournoi des Patriotes is a domestic soccer tournament, world cup style with 4 groups of 4. The 16 teams are Terre Septentrionale's townships. Because we have 20 towships and a federal district, some will be coupled together for the tournament (leaguesimulator.eu doesn't allow a World Cup style tournament with 20 teams). Le tournoi des Patriotes is played during the offseason, from june to august, simultaneously with the World Cup qualifications. Soccer players currently at the World Cup qualifications are excluded from the Tournoi des Patriotes.

Ligue Septentrionale de Football season preview

Kukljica, Dalmacia - You may think it's too early for a LSF preview but it's not! The season starts right after the World Bowl so here's a preview of the top 5 teams, those most likely to win the Bol Septentrional (Northern Bowl).

1. Wloszczowa Blue Bombers

The Blue Bombers, the best team in Terre Septentrionale, are led by their quarterback Haylie Woo and their wide receivers Lamarcus McGee and Przemyslaw Kozlowski. Their defense is as much better than their offense. They have ones of the best defensive backs in the league, including strong safety Roderick McShepard, and one of the best defensive line with Fernando Peña and Donavaughn Fournette. Their weakness on defense is their two interior linemen and their nose tackle. But Haylie Woo is the main reason why they're first in our rankings.

2. Vukosavljevica Dolphins

The Fins are a young and upcoming team. They were drafting early not a long time ago but things have changed and their young studs now plays a big part on the team. They're lead by their quarterback Wyatt Schulze-Lichtenberg, a first overall pick in 2021, and wide receiver Demetrius Thomas-Jackson. Their running back, Za'Niyah McCullers, is one of the best in the league and almost made the nationa team. She will however be on the women's team at the olympics. Vukosavljevica's offensive line is also one of the best. Left tackle Emilio Sanchez and center Evan Pokrzywinski are on the national team. Defensively, their strenght is their linebackers: Zach Luc and Jorge Ramirez on the outside and 2024's first overall pick Julianna Olszewska-Kacperczyk and Ryan Schimmelpfennig on the inside. Their corner backs could be better, Kerryon Williams-McQueen is a really good strong safety but the other defensive backs are average. Their defensive line is also average.

3. Szentgyörgyvölgy 49ers

Another young and upcoming team. Offensively they're more found on the running game with their running backs Quinlan Breaux and 21 years old Mieczysław Zborowski, drafted 7th overall last year. Wide receiver Louis-Philip Laframboise-Deschamps, drafted 2nd overall in 2024, could become the best wide receiver in the league but he has no good quarterback to throw to him. Szentgyörgyvölgy's starting quarterback is Riley Cacciarelli, considered to be an average quarterback. Defensively, Szentgyörgyvölgy is considered to be one of the best team in the league. Their strenght is their defensive line led by tackle Nick Wrzuszczak and right end Keyshawn Woodcock-Hunter, the 2nd overall pick in 2023. Their interior linebacker, Stanislaw Strzelczyk is one of the best in the league.

4. Beach City Lions

The BC Lions are an exciting team to watch with scrambling quarterback Tyquavious Wilderbralthwait. The 1st overall pick in the 2023 draft set the record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback last season. They also have one of the best running backs in the league in Quintavious Puckett, who'se actually the 4th running back on the national team depth chart. Their left tackle Connor Zagzebski makes sure both Wilderbralthwait and Puckett runs as much as they wants. Defensively, they're average. Cornerback Kennisha Hawkins-Henderson, strongside linebacker Kingsley Thompson-Clarke and defensive tackle Eugeniusz Wasilewski are the best defensive players on the team.

5. Baie-Verte Packers

Last in our top 5 are the Packers. When you think of the Packers, the one word that comes to everyone's mind is: DEFENSE. Offensively they're led by their running back Jhavon Diggs but they has the worst quarterback in the league. What will make the Packers win is their defense, especially their outside linebackers Jaxton McFolley and Nehemiah Charles, respectively the best and 2nd best linebackers in the nation, but on the interior they're relatively weak. Their cornerbacks Ja'Kevious O'Reilly and Kevin McGinnis
are the top of the league but they lacks a good strong safety. Their defensive line is also one of the best in the league.

So, that concludes my top 5 LSF teams for the upcoming 2026 season.

*There's 16 teams divided in 2 conferences. Each teams play 2 games against their own conference teams and 1 game against the opposite conference for a total of 22 games.
**The scorinator didn't plan a bye week, but I've decided half of the teams will have a bye on week 11 and the other half on week 12.
***Last season started in mid-june with the playoffs ending in late december around christmas. Because I stated that in my timeline, the World Bowl goes from march to end of july, this year the season with start in late july instead of mid-june.

The Lumberjacks are simply the best team in the nation. They only have one title but they also have 4 2nd places so they're the team with the most top 2 finishes in the Première Ligue since 2020. They have the best goalkeeper in the league, Georges-Kévin Vainqueur, and one of the best defense, which is led by Zdzislaw Brzezanczyk and 22 years old Kacper Pietrzkiewicz. Yannick Ksiezniakiewicz is one of the best midfielder in the league and the recent aquisition of Cristiano Fernando on the transfer market solidifies the team. Offensively, Zbigniew Zajaczkowski is aging and isn't on the starting XI anymore, but Sophie Kingsbury and Nicolas Nelson are pretty good too. Their only weakness would be their side midfielders. They're almost unbeatable.

2. Klub Turystow Rzodkiewnica

The Tourists have Zofia Kwietniewska in goal, which have the most caps by a goalkeeper on the national team, however she might not be called up for the World Cup 86. The rest of the team is a young team led by Karolina Zaborowska and Arkadiusz Krzykowski on defense, Roksana Kolodziejczyk in the midfield, and both Sandie McCracken and Jaroslaw Sobieszczyk in offense. They won the championship last season and hope to repeat again this year.

3. KKS Wlokniarz 1925 Krzczonow

The Onions (yes, this is their nickname) still are one of the best teams in Terre Septentrionale. They're led by Tomasz Mikolajczak in goal and Franciszek Olejniczak
in defense. 35 years old side midfielder Pawel Wawrzynkiewicz has many caps with the national team but he's now aging. Offensively they're now led by Fryderyka Cwierczakiewiczowa and Tymoteusz Swierczewski. They're looking to win their 2nd championship since 2020

4. Dynamo de Jacques-Cartier

Les Oranges are the best team from the French speaking part of Terre Septentrionale. They too have a national team material goalkeeper in Jennifer O'Byrne. On defense they have Guillaume Casgrain and 21 years old Alexandre Massicotte, a future national team member. The team's best player is without a doubt Sandrine Fontaine, one of the best midfielder in the nation, she leads the team offensively with strikers Élisabeth Galarneau and Mikolaj Cieszkowski. They hope to win their 1st title.

5. KS Ursus Trzeszczyn

The Bears completes this top 5. in goal, Bartlomiej Kasprzak is one of the best goalkeeper in the nation and will finally make the national team instead of Zofia Kwietniewska. They have one of the best defensive brigade in the league with Franciszek Niedzwiecki, Weronika Zubrowska and the Wieszczycki brothers (Kazimierz and Grzegorz). Alicja Jedrzejczyk is one of the top midfielders in the nation, however they lack a good striker and another good midfielder. Krystyna Walczykiewicz, 21 years old, is on her way to become the striker they're looking for.
