Alanikka are first time entry and want to join BoF.

We have had 2 prior nations, Qingland and Saint Agnesia so we are experienced with the sports RP scene.

To which? You're in the thread for World Cup signups already, and I already quoted the BoF closure notice for you. If you'd like to confirm your participation, or not, in the World Cup, that'd be great.

Right, I make that 155 nations signed up for the World Cup. With three nations currently CTE'd, we are provisionally cutting off at 152, with the three nations who have since signed up on the waitlist. Any nations signing up will be added to the waitlist, with 162 being the next number of sign-ups which the hosts will be considering.

Any nations who are CTE'd at the point where we make the draw for qualifying (based off the BoF schedule, likely the end of Feb/start of March), will be replaced by nations on the waitlist.

I have combed through the sign-ups and am able to provide the following list:

There are 154 nations on that list of sign-ups. This number includes 5 CTE'd nations: Gladom Newion (Puppet of Tinhampton), Nawawi, Bresanie, Redbourne and North Miklik. Of those, Bresanie and North Miklik are participating in the BoF, so as I understand they will have to be entered into the World Cup. At the moment, Bongo Johnson and Astoriya are on the waitlist, although if the competition were to start today, both would be accepted due to CTEs and a further nation would need to be signed up to get to 152 nations.

Chairman of the FFB, Craig Foster, has today announced during a press interview his intentions to take Brusseldorfen Football to the next level.
The first step in the enactment of this overhaul is to join the NS World Cup. Craig admitted during the interview that the FFB had missed the cutoff for the 82nd World Cup, however was hopeful that Brusseldorf's time would come.

Time for another fun little WC update with regards to numbers.

By my reckoning, we are at 159 nations currently signed up for the WC. With the withdrawal of The Sarian, Bongo Johnson is bumped up to definitely being in the WC.

There remain five CTE'd nations, and I have been informed since my previous update that nations who CTE in the BoF do not have to participate in the WC, so as it stands all those in the wait list up to San Rocca wil be able to participate in the WC should the five CTE'd nations remain CTE'd.

ADDITIONALLY - I'm waiting on confirmation on this - should Uan aa Boa be allowed to withdraw from the BoF & WC, then Astoria will also be definitely bumped up from the wait list and Zeniyadh will ascend to being on the "likely to participate depending on CTE conditions" list.
