The Hoofball Association of the Equestrian States presents, with the contractually-obligated "support" of the less-than-reliable publication known as Sporting World, sign-ups for the latest edition of this Under-18 international tournament.
The first 32 U18 National Teams to sign up in this thread by stating their intention to participate will gain entry into the tournament. We will permit one "puppet" entry per user, which must be declared and confirmed, but main nations will take priority over puppets. The format for the tournament will be identical to the format used for all 81 editions of the World Cup finals: The 32 teams will be split into 8 groups of 4 teams each and will play their group mates once. The top 2 teams in each group will advance to the knockout rounds, which will be single elimination with the exception of a third place match. Matches will be scorinated approximately every 48 hours. This edition of the the tournament will be hosted by the Equestrian States.
