I wasn't going to bring this up at all...some of the men's boxing schedule seems a bit out of whack--for example on day 2 you have M Heavyweight preliminary round, and on day 6 you have it again.
EDIT: and no heats for Womens 4x400 relay in track.

But much respect for putting together that composite schedule.

Any help checking the schedule for errors is definitely appreciated. Any errors that remain at this point are unlikely to be noticed by me until I attempt to scorinate. Anything that looks like an error in the schedule, the group draws or the results should be brought to my attention as quickly as possible.

I was only going through the events where I have entries. Glad I could be of help. If I see anything else, I'll speak up.

I haven't updated the schedule yet but I will be moving everything back another 2 days so that I have time to get IC information and an actual opening ceremony written before the start of the Olympics. The new start date is January 7th.

3 changes have been made regarding entrants to the Olympics. By request, The Plough Islands (PLI) has been withdrawn and Sid Meier's Polynesia is now Polynesia. In addition, "Team Dircesian" has been renamed "Diarcesia". These changes have also been made to all input files.

Hey,

Some of you players if you look over at the Roster page have your team stats on a white background.

How do you do that, as looks much neater for to future competitions?

I use the "pre" button in the toolbar.

The draws are now done. Expect the first cutoff around 36 and a half hours after the time of this post.

A few random things I thought of:

I noticed in the roster thread that no one else has included any officials, so I just wanted to point out for RP purposes, I have some for the sports I'm in and anyone can incorporate them for their own use for game stories, etc.. I'd say the only thing I ask is not to make them look corrupt or dishonest.

FFR, I know you have slaved away on the draws for everything, but I was wondering about heats for swimming (and track, although that's not til next week)? Are those going to be day of event draws?

And venues...we all know you have more than enough stadiums, but the indoor events?

Not FFR, but swimming heats don't need to be drawn as the sport uses a 'fastest time qualifies' system regardless of heats, unlike athletics, which do need to be drawn.

The heats will be announced with the results.

Major venues will be listed with the IC information. Since hundreds of minor venues are required for team sports group stages, it makes no sense to list all of them or which match is at which upgraded high school or upgraded non-RCAA division 1 university venue.

Excuse my noobness, and I'm not sure about this, but there appear to be some games missing from the women's football and gridiron games. Is this supposed to be really like this or am I missing something?

Those teams had byes. Women's gridiron has groups of 4 and 5. The groups of 4 follow the same schedule as groups of 6, except that any team that would play "5" or "6" has a bye. The groups of 6 for women's football follow the groups of 8 schedule.

This happens automatically in xkoranate whenever you scorinate an event with unbalanced groups. It always uses the schedule for the largest groups.

As for why teams that didn't play are missing from the tables, xkoranate doesn't include them in the table until after their first match.

I'm currently in the process of uploading the Olympic input files, new version of InputMaker, the Signup Checker, the source for the new Must10inator, the 3x3 basketball scorinator and my entire xkoranate sports folder (simpler than uploading each individual file that I've modified or created). These files can be found here.

The 3x3 basketball scorinator is currently undocumented though a substantial portion of its code is reused from Baseinator so it should function fairly similarly.

I believe that I had three athletes (Rebecca Zeng, Aurelia Fang, and Ava Lin) entered in the Women's Individual Épée event, but the results only show two Laeralian athletes entered. Am I misunderstanding the format, or is this a mistake on Free Republics's part?

Saturday will be an off day for RL reasons.

I will be posting the results for the more time-consuming events (such as Sailing, Equestrian and Gymnastics) last each day and they are potentially subject to delays.

Should be fixed now.

Hi Free Republics,

You have so much work in front of you and you are doing a great job so far, so I really wouldn't bring this to attention if it was anything minor.

I did notice in Women's Judo 48kgs that Janice Morris (KWP) won her round of 16 but in the Quarter finals she is not there, and a player Jane Grey (KGS) who doesn't appear to be in the event is listed instead.

Hi Free Republics,

You've entered me into both groups of the Men's E-Sports FPS it seems. My guess is the error is you've replaced El Chupacabras in Group B with me.

Should be fixed now.

I fixed it by inserting El Chupacabras into Group B and rescorinating the first matchday until the other 5 matches produced the same winner.

While fixing this, I noticed that Jane Grey (KGS) had actually beaten Hinawa Hiroki (ETM) in the Preliminary Round but I had erroneously advanced Hiroki. Both errors have been corrected.

If you notice any wrong athletes advanced or entered twice or not entered in the results, that should be brought to my attention ASAP as RP bonuses can fluctuate greatly from day to day so fixing errors from matchdays other than the most recent one would require reconstructing that day's RP bonuses.

I was looking at the men's road cycling, and I see that most of my team did not finish. Given what they were discussing, I was thinking of RPing that they caused a major collision, knocking themselves and other cyclists out of the race. Does anybody object? Would anybody like to be specifically mentioned?

Quick question, I was checking the results for sailing and I noticed one of my athletes was labeled DNE. I don't know if it means DNF or Do Not Engage, but I need some clarification.

DNE is a disqualification, not excludable from the total score. (The worst result for each sailor is discounted in their total score except where the worst result is a DNE.)
